Since they were young, cypress has always looked to rowan to know how to react to a situation. Because of this, when on his own, Cypress is notably expressionless. He also often mimics Rowan's expressions but ends up exaggerating them.

I think half my current health issues stem from getting covid-19 in highschool and I'm ready to fucking kill rn

#sorry really fucking sick rn #I just. fuck me man #You know I had a great immune system b4 getting covid? #my entire family could get severely sick for weeks and I'd either not catch it or have a 2 day week ass form of whatever it was #I went years without being sick #then I got covid #and now I get heavily sick twice a fucking year at least #no long term affects my fucking ass #and then #not only that #but it's possible I now have an autoimmune disorder. so yeah just fucking dandy #not sure what is yet but the right side of my body is fucked up and weak #:( I can't go on a walk w/o my right leg feeling like shit and I just don't have the energy for shit- not that I did in the past #but at least then I didn't have a lick of motivation #I want to do so many things but I physically fucking can't anymore #I used to be in long distance running in highschool #after covid I couldn't fucking breathe right and went into field stuff instead. #Fuck man. to quote me in the fall of my senior year of highschool #'I hate this being sick shit' #anyways #gonna tag these types of post with art's irl bullshit from now on in case anyone doesn't want to see these #I get that. Probably should mention that rowan is demi, I think I've said that he's on the ace spectrum before but I think some clarification might be good to add

Anyways I fucking love my oc Clifford. He's on my main world and is from like, some medieval era they had. Anyways, there's a lot of interesting stuff; he was originally part of royal court as a young teen (was castrated at the time :( took a very long time for him to even somewhat go through puberty) then there was a prophecy and long story short he becomes a king (we love that for him)

Anyways as he got older, clifford found that he really regretted the castration thing, and like, thinks about sex more often than you'd think a person who isn't castrated would think about sex.

Oh, I should mention that He was good friends with Rowan. And by good friends I mean lovers- turns out there were a lot of other ways of having sex than cliff ever thought about.

(side thing: my main world had this infamous necromancer problem just before the modern era and a lot of characters who were dead became not dead. (Totally not because I wanted to use them in more than one setting, that's not something I'd do [sarcasm]))

So v1 wytt has lived for far longer than any human should (I feel that he's fundamentally human) and that has profoundly fucked him up right? (I like to put it as 'helped build the pyramids old')

In his first life he fell in love with rufa, a fae man who was killed by humans who didn't understand him and thought he was an evil creature (Wow. Where could I have gotten v4 Cypress' death? [Sarcasm]). And that uh. Well that fucking wrecked his mental state and when you're that unstable chances are you'll take risks you shouldn't.

He didn't return to Egypt after that. I'd say he traveled a lot, by the modern era Wytt has pretty much been everywhere. He always leaves places so those depressing thoughts don't fucking consume him but when there's nothing left? Well, he leaves that world behind and travels to another universe (built a device that should take him to another universe but there's the chance he'll never be able to come back- at this point he's okay with that.)

Anyways, He goes to my current one and honestly there're a couple different storylines I could put him in.

1: Joins UG (universal government, it's a place name) and ends up interacting with rowan who, due to his own issues is either like 'oh stars did cypress have another kid :(' or 'that is a child and I am going to take care of them whether they like it or not >:)' - v1 wytt proceeds to be kinda weirded out but rowan is well. A demigod and can control wealth, a lot of people in power will do anything to please that guy and of course v1 wytt when forced to, I dunno, spend time with him is like 'fuck me' and then just goes along with it. And from there some interesting situations n stuff.

The other idea is meeting v4 wytt and that would kinda wreck him (looks an awful lot like what a kid between v1 wytt and rufa might would look like). And again from there there's some interesting situations that could be pursued (v1 wytt gets to act paternal 👀) but yeah.

Rant:

Anyways so with v1 wytt, he's more of a revamp, right? I mean, I made the original one when I was a freshman in highschool- not gonna be my best work.

See there's a few things I ended up abandoning as I was changing things about my characters or their world(s) and there are some things I liked.

I liked that he was a bit of a dick, nihilistic, was experienced with biology and mechanics, and was alive for an extremely long time (wytt was the basis for rowan actually). But I have this tendency where I will make characters act in ways they shouldn't and take away characteristics to make it understandable.

I made Wytt incredibly mean and a downright cunt and this contradicted his nihilism- a nihilist wouldn't care enough to insult people with the purpose of hurting them. Did I change how I wrote him? No, I made it so that he secretly did care and was faking the nihilism.

But honestly? That just feels uninteresting to me. I mean, yeah it happens in real life where someone is like 'Im a nihilist' and uses it to be a dick and yeah I was trying to be realistic but come on, that's a lot less interesting to explore. I'm okay with keeping it with v4 wytt (current) but I want the original wytt to have the original concept.
