Today is Viktor’s 10th birthday anniversary since he was released back in 2011 and he has been my favourite character from anything ever since, hence why I wanted to draw a little present for that “old” original version of him I love so much. No matter how many changes he went through afterwards, he will always be my Viktor…

To Jayce: A Monologue
I will not apologize. Not for anything. I am not sorry. I never will be sorry. Every choice, every action has a consequence. Whether or not we know these consequences is on us and those who know the consequences be wary of them, or choose to go on with ignorance. I will not stand for it. I will not lie down in front of you and give up everything I am.
We are so different, but we have one thing in common. We both want to change the future. To help our fellow man to progress farther than they ever thought they could. To soar through the clouds with ivory wings and look forwards forever and always. To pave the way for a brighter tomorrow. We had astronomical potential between the two of us, if there was someway to overcome the differences, there would be nothing in our way to success.
I often think about what we could have been. I know that you blame me. I blame you. We are too incompatible. We couldn’t connect or compromise. You were so brilliant, and so was I. Yet we always found ourselves on opposite ends of solutions.
Sometimes I miss those days. Although I can not feel it anymore, I know what I say when I say it saddens me that we could not compromise. We both want great things for this world but we see the world differently. I am down below with the guttersnipes, the shimmer dealers, the chem-barons and the poor citizens that or coerced by the ones above us belittling and devaluing our existence. I have felt their pain. You however, sit in your ivory tower above, with clean air and large ego, feeling as though you deserve where you are at based on merit and not luck or just being born above the lower levels. You have lost your way. You are now more concerned with how you fit into the hierarchy than to help everyone regardless of status.
The classism and elitist attitudes from those in power is sickening. I know that Zaun is not without flaw but that is not on Zaunites. It comes from Piltovan greed. Piddidly and the others are all in it for the money. Most anything that gets approved funding is something that will turn for profit. This is what you want to stand for? This is what you strive for?
I can’t forget what happened between us. Only once did I feel envious of your position. If I only had your capital my own barriers would be removed. Perhaps my work would have been well respected and not frowned upon and slandered. Then maybe I could get a glimpse of the world from where you stand.
We are just far too different. Oil and water. Success... and failure.

Yeah I can’t believe it myself or that it happened this hard, but I’m done with league of legends. I don’t believe in riot games anymore. I’m still going to watch arcane and have an immense love for this game’s lore and all me memories but everything Viego on is just lowest common denominator brain dead bs.
It’s sad. It’s been a constant for me forever, however toxic and consuming it was in my life. This blog may soon follow in my wake of rejection. But I know it will take a bit. I’ve held onto this blog for so long. Maybe too long.
Anyvays, yeah LoL. What a game

Been very sidetracked with Star Wars shit and Civ 6 in my life to bother remembering to log in and check things out. Been very low activity, especially being off of the Arcane high. Not sure where I am now but will be lurking/avail for plotting

@summoner-renzus
Renzus wasn’t sure to make of the sudden interrogation, but he felt willing enough to humour the Machine Herald’s questions. Nothing sensitive was being discussed, after all. He got off the medical table, finding his footing again, glad to simply be on his feet and mobile after the hazy, half-remembered fugue brought on by the gas exposure.
“I’ve been in and out of Zaun, yes. But I don’t live here. I travel a great deal, as a matter of my…profession. As for where I’m from…”
He paused again, but continued. Some things deserved to be said truthfully.
“A long time ago, I called the Institute of War my home. You might have heard of it, although I suspect it might have been long before your time.” The First Crow mused. “The Summoner Order might have long been disbanded, but we’re still around. Living out the rest of our lives. It seems the world is quite content to move on from our legacy.”
“The Institute of War?” He whispered to himself, trying to remember if he had ever heard of such a thing. This world had a long arduous history, it was hard to remember it all. Then it came to him, “Ah, yes. I do remember glossing over something about the Institute in a library once. I am no historian, I did not find it too important or intriguing at the time.”
Viktor may have remembered vaguely about the Institue of War but had no clue of the Summoner Order. He assumed it was some sort of coalition of mages or conjurers, though that was only his best guess.
“How many summoners are left?” The Herald would again lay it on heavy with the questions, “And how long ago was the Institute disbanded? How old does that make you? Please forgive my inquisitiveness, I am only curious.”

@talesofruneterra:
There were times when their own creator seemed… Illogical. Mimic tried to calculate the reasoning behind Viktor’s words, but while she understood the salient point, his tone and mannerisms seemed… Angry? Disappointed? Besides, like he said: he was lacking context, so wasn’t making such a judgement premature?
“With all due respect, creator, the threat would have only escalated had I not acted.Their human bodies will heal, albeit slowly.” Mimic continued to think, tried to come up with a plausible explanation for Viktor’s thought processes. In the end, only one came to mind. “Do you fear retaliation?”
“No.”
The Herald responded faster than he could think about the question. He did think it to be ridiculous for a moment, then realizing that he had not thought on it much. It certainly wasn’t anything he was too worried about. A possibility to be sure but he did have a failsafe in place, albeit untested. Acolytes and automatons were two different beasts and he constantly toiled over insurance of their loyalty, if not belief in his cause. The ethics of forcing someone to join his evolution was a thought that crossed his mind frequently. At what point would critical mass come into effect? How many people would need to be convinced? Coerced?
“I do not fear much of anything. Not anymore at least.” He continued his response while packing away his tools, “Even when I was a man with fear, I do not believe it held me back, though there was plenty to fear during my upbringing.” He closed the toolbox, keeping himself faced away from Mimic.
“If you have nothing to bring to my attention, we are done for now.”
