Awesome I’d love to be tagged - maybe you could try the princess swap when you’re ready? Clarke and the commoner MC are a lot like Beckett and MC
Hey everyone! I’m going to try another Fanfic for The Elementalists and I just wanted to tag some people who might be interested
Keep in mind the tags may not work so I you do get tagged please reblog if you want to be tagged in any of my Fanfics or if you would like to be removed!
I’ll just be doing a Drabble that will be out in the near future so please let me know sooner rather then later.
I’ll still be tagging the people who don’t respond in my Drabble just to see if the tag lists work there but these are people who have shown interest in Fanfic, The Elementalists, and people who inspired me so any support/Constructive criticism will be happily accepted! 💖💕

List of writing goals and blog goals:
Prompt list: I wanna see what my readers want to see from me and I think this would be a fantastic way to do that!
Master list: although I just started I will be updating my master lists every time I create a fan fic so it will be easy to navigate around the couple fictions I may have!
Different books!: I would gladly take requests for different books but for starting out I’m more comfortable with The Elementalists!

All's Well That Ends Well To End Up With You
Book: Desire and Decorum
Pairing: Ernest Sinclaire x MC (Clara Mills)
Summary: Clara gets a note from her son, Ernie, after his first week at boarding school and decides that she wants more kids. Things get heated in Ernest’s office.
Authors Note: NSFW warning! I got some smut in here and I hope you like it. Also the title is not mine, it’s a lyric from a Taylor Swift song lol. Enjoy the fic!
Clara Sinclaire sighed as her daughter plunked along on the pianoforte. Her daughter was doing very well, however, the rain didn’t seem to be helping much distracting the family inside. Ernest was working away in his office as she focused on the children in the drawing room. Laurence practicing his letters and Mabel in her lap.
“Alright, I think that’s enough studying for the day,” she said.
“Thank goodness,” said Georgiana as she knocked into the keys making a loud banging noise. “Sorry mother.”
“It’s alright, perhaps you could entertain yourselves in the ballroom,” she said which basically meant run around since it’s raining. “I’m going to check on your father.”
Eagerly she looked toward the doorway leading to his office. Perhaps, Ernie had written from boarding school? They had just sent him away about a week ago, but she was really hoping for a letter. Normally they’d read Vincent’s letters after dinner, but Ernest wanted to make sure they weren’t reading something inappropriate by mistake.
A little worried, she bit her bottom lip as she headed toward her husband’s office. She brushed away a lock of her hair before knocking. Once she heard a weak voice say come in from the other side, she let herself in.
“Ahh Clara,” he said grinning at her. “Are you looking for the mail.”
“Oh, tell me what Ernie has to say,” she said getting to the point.
Ernest stood up and walked over to her and passed the letter. Unsealing the wax, she skimmed over her sons’ words. He sounded like he was doing well, however, she was appalled to read that he had seen a public beating. By a school master no less! Part of her wanted to pull him out but Ernest seemed to have sensed her fears.
He had stood next to her and read over the letter as well. He drew in a sharp breath but said nothing. Clara missed him dearly of course but understood that he had to go. It was like when they sent Percival to Eton. Except their sons were at the Harrow School instead.
“I’m not sure if Harrow was the correct choice,” said Clara after a second.
Ernest just pursed his lips and sighed wanting to ease her mind.
“My family is has been going there for generations Clara. You know how I turned out,” he said teasingly before pulling her close and putting his hands on her small shoulders assuring her. “Everything will be fine. He’ll enjoy Harrow and make lots of friends. You’ll see; besides, we have Laurence still at home.”
She seemed to have relaxed before pushing against his chest until he backed into the desk. She kissed her husband long and hard, surprising him. Pleased at the sudden attack, he kissed her back until they gasped for breath.
‘Maybe, perhaps,” said Clara between her gasps. “We could try again for another baby.”
“You really want another baby?”
“Yes,” she said, her voice urgent and with more passion and force than ever.
More fervent her kisses pepped down his jaw to his chest. He sat on the edge of his desk letting her lead. This hands on the laces of her dress easing the top to gather around her waist. There was a shiver up her spine. A quiver of want pooled between her legs. Hungrily, she kissed her husband as she pulled her legs around his waist.
“And I’d love to another with you,” he growled in her ear hungrily kissing her back.
She melted into the kiss before reaching for the buckles on his pants. Chuckling Ernest helped her as they landed in a small thump on the floor. An eager look on Clara’s face and her eyes bright in anticipation. Biting her bottom lip, she sauntered over to the office door and made sure that it was locked.
The governess would knock if the children really needed them. She unlaced her corset tossing to the side, unsure where it really landed.
From his spot Ernest drank in the sight of his very needy wife. A side that he wished her saw more, as she kicked aside her chemise next. Her brown curls still pinned up, but honestly, he had a better view that way.
His hands running his hair before hungrily kissing her like it was their last.
“I love you,” she said kissing him back panting for breaths while he pulled her close. His blue eyes watching her before leaning it and kissing down her neck. He nibbled on her skin suckling and kissed down her breast.
Her eyes slipped closed unable or even wanting to stop him. His hands were around her waist until there was more than just a brush of cool fingers underneath her breast. He had cupped her soft fleshy globe in his hand leaving her to gasp out.
“Ooh,” she groaned hearing her heartbeat in her ears.
He was of course pleased that she was his wife, allowing him permission to bestow on her the pleasures that she deserved. Ernest wanted to take over, desperate to take her bed, however let her run her hands down his chest feeling his skin.
Clara had adjusted as he could feel his manhood ease up her as she gripped him and the desk.
“Clara, may I reverse the roles a little?” he asked kindly as she nodded eagerly pulling  him closer. He had adjusted to be on top enticingly watch her breast bounce slightly as he could tell she was repressing the urge to scream.
“Keep going,” she muttered until he felt himself release.
She wrapped her arms around him and her legs around his waist as they kissed passionately once more. Her breathing deep as he gripped the desk.
“I hope I didn’t get pregnant right then and there so I could do that again,” she said with a giggle.
“We’ll do it every night if we must,” he said kissing her temple. “I could stay like this forever.”
He rested his forehead against hers ready to kiss her again before they heard the crash. Clara groaned a little remembering that she told them to have fun in the ballroom.
“I think that’s my cue to go,” she said regretfully as she smiled at him weakly. “Until tonight?”
“Until tonight,” he said.
They gathered their clothes before he gave her a chaste kiss as she headed out the door.

Long time no chat !
Hii!! I’m actually not sure if anyone is going to know if I’m back or not, but I’m alive! The last time I was here I decided to write a choices fic everyday for a month and a half and got myself burnt out. I also was in the middle of a job search (still am actually) and never came back until now.
I’ve had a few ideas for fics and a request leading me to come back. I don’t know how many fics I’m going to write or when they’ll come out but I’ll try not to disappear either. I’m not really expecting a lot of people to remember me or anything but I figured I’d check in.
Below I’m tagging the people who I do have down and for what fics and if I should continue tagging you guys or not. Just respond if you can and tell me whether or not you’d like to see me write new books or revisit some old ones. Feel free to pass along the stories I do have as well!

Strengthening Family Bonds
Desire and Decorum/Ernest Sinclaire x MC
Summary: How one argument could bring the family closer then ever.
Author’s Note: my final story for a bit and will be back for the OH2 and possibly TRH2 depending on ideas. I think everyone is sick and tired of me notifying you when I posted for 41 days straight lol. I’ll be reachable most of the time so send me stuff if you have something you want to see written. This is in honor of the final chapter of D&D releasing today. At least I know that he and MC will have a big family together.
Ernest Sinclaire held his daughter close to him watching Bishop Monroe blew out the candles. The small girl sleeping his arms. Clara had taken the quill and signed the name in the christening book. Their parish had kept track of all local births. Including their own children.
“Georgiana Sinclaire,” said Bishop Monroe smiling at the babe. “What a beautiful name.”
Standing up straight Ernest and Clara smiled at their newest child. In the pews behind them Vincent and Ernie sat next to Percival. Dominique dabbed her eyes emotional at the baptism. Harry and Theresa just smiled at them. Briar and Edmund trying to wrangle their youngest from running up to join them.
With the mass finally over did they leave to head back for the day. The party would come next before they had left to prepare. Instead of Edgewater, they would be at Ledford, just like they had done with Ernie and Vincent.
“Congratulations you two,” said Edmund as they passed him and Briar.
“Thank you,” said Clara holding the candle that Bishop Monroe had given them.
They were finally alone with their family did Ernest lean in and press a tender kiss to her head. She had taken their daughter and entered the carriage first. Then the children before Ernest pulled in through the back.
Once back at home did Ernest kiss his daughter’s head and then each of the kids as they got out of the carriage together. People would be here soon or at least the people of their social circle would be in about an hour.
His head snapped when he heard Percival saying his name.
The young boy was about 9 now and he was just happy to have him here.
“Ernest Clara, there’s something that I’ve been meaning to ask you about,” he said clearly. Clara shared a look with him and to continue. “I… I don’t know if it would be possible, but I want to meet my father.”
Ernest felt his heart speed up as Clara’s eyes was just wide. Oh. They knew that this day would come especially since they knew that Mr. Richards wasn’t dead yet. In fact, he was still in the tower with Gideon as far as he knew.
“I’m sorry,” said Ernest confused.
“I love being with you and I really like how supportive you are, but I wonder if I’d be able to have that relationship with my father,” he said. “I’d like to know what he’s like at least or what traits I get from him. Aunt tells me about my mother.”
Oh no. Ernest and Clara shared a look as they weren’t sure how to go about it. He knew exactly how he felt. He would protect his family from Mr. Richards. What if he wanted some kind of revenge? Or what if he was already dead before he could even get to know his only son.
Not only that but neither he or Clara had told him about what Mr. Richards was like. Or even where he was. It was kind of hard to turn their love story into a bedtime story. Not only that but by the time the family would figure out, time would have passed. Maybe he would tell him on Percival’s wedding day.
Before rationing out a good response his words weren’t the greatest. “No,” he said. “Your father is…”
He looked to Clara for help as she shook her head.
“The story is complicated Percival. I wouldn’t mind telling you about him, but I can’t bring you to him,” she said carefully.
“Oh,” said Percival but looked to Ernest. “So, can I learn about him?”
Ernest just stared at Clara surprised at her answer. She had given him a knowing look before he looked at Percival. “Can you leave me and Clara alone for a minute? This is something that we must discuss together.”
The nine-year-old looked defeated before nodding and leaving them alone. The boys would be the in nursey and Percival would join them. Georgiana with her nurse for right now. Ernest had taken Clara’s hand and started down the steps. Maybe the walk would help clear his head. Although that wouldn’t exactly help solve all their problems.
Clara stumbled into him before they were walking out down the worn path. It was about half way down the path did he take a long breath. They had made a vow when they were married that they wouldn’t fight at Ledford. They would go outside or Edgewater, where Clara once joked all the drama happened.
Staring at her he gripped her wrist.
“What were you thinking?” he asked harshly. “We can’t tell him about Mr. Richards. I can’t, I won’t let him know about his father. You shouldn’t tell him either.”
Staring at him Clara just pulled her wrist away from his hand. “And why not? I mean we told a half way story as a bedtime story.”
“That’s different that’s a fairytale, this is reality. What if Richards is dead? What if telling him the truth scars him? I’d rather not fight or even talk about this on Georgiana’s baptism of all days.”
She stomped her foot down but her voice calm. “Maybe that’s why he brought he brought it up? Percival pretty much said that he wanted to know if his dad would be good to him like we are with him and our children. You may be his father now, but he deserves to know so he doesn’t turn out like his biological father. Would you rather have him be ignorant and eventually turn out like him anyway?”
Ernest looked startled at the mere thought of that.
“You know that we helped raise him better then that. I trust his aunt to do better and be just as good as a mother that Roselyn might have been.”
Truthfully, he didn’t know what Roselyn would be like as a mother. For all he knew she would have dropped any child she would have off with a nanny. Despite fighting with Clara, he knew that she wouldn’t hold a candle to her. Clara was the perfect mother and more.
“I still think he deserves to know,” said Clara her green eyes hard. “As much as I hate the idea of telling him the truth, we can’t shield all the evils of the world away from him. In about two years he’ll be starting boarding school. I’ve seen how they boys were treated at the day school, they’re not all going to be kind to him.”
That was where he had his own two cents. “The masters are willing to whip anyone into shape. Yes, he’d be seeing and witnessing it for the first time. However, I’d rather him learn from his own mistakes rather than have the sins of his father on his mind.”
Now it appeared that they were at a standstill. Clara hoped that he had a point and could see his point of view. Just as he could see hers and understand it at the same time. His breathing hard watching her. Clara had stepped back and huffed before getting closer to him.
“We both agree that Percival should never see his dad, right?” she asked softly brushing a stray hair from his face.
Surprised at the gentle touch he nodded knowing that much. “Clara, please. I have my reasons, I want to protect him just like I want to protect our own children. What kind of father would I be if I can’t do that?”
He had pulled her close to him leaving a small smile on Clara’s lips. “You’re a good father for wanting to protect them. I just want… I think… I don’t want Percival to be like his dad. I don’t know if telling him would make it any better but not telling him might doom him to repeat his mistakes. I know I’ve said that already and I can’t imagine him being like that…”
Pulling her close they leaned against a large tree trunk. He kissed her lips softly holding her chin to look at him.
“I don’t think that there is a right answer for this,” he whispered. “We just have to make sure that he turns into a good and honorable man. I want him to be a great Duke with a long line of descendants to pass on.”
“As do I.”
She pressed her lips to his and stayed like that for a a moment taking in her touch and lips. An epiphany ran across his mind in a moment. She was right, of course she was right, Clara had a point during their rather difficult conversation.
He pulled apart and rested his forehead against hers.
“You know I think you’re right. When I was at school, I saw the fights and everyone at any school around here is going to know who his dad is and what happened to him. He can’t go into there ignorant. It’s up to his uncle to decide where he goes but if it’s in England…”
She took his hand and interlaced her fingers with his. “If anything, this will bring us together and stronger. You’re right too though, where he is now isn’t a good time. He’s not even ten and school doesn’t even start for a year or two. I think he could be innocent for a little while longer. It’s not like people knows who he is by looking at him.”
Clara threw her arms around her husband laughing softly to herself.
“I can’t believe we’re arguing about this today, it’s beautiful today. Let’s go and celebrate Georgiana’s christening,” said Ernest ready to put this conversation aside for now. They would tell him that they would wait for another year or so.
Still holding his hand she pulled him to follow her, beckoning back to Ledford. “Ahh yes, for you see you have a daughter that I can only imagine you doting on so much.”
“Maybe not more then my wife, Mrs. Sinclaire.”
Blushing they started to head back to Ledford arm and arm together. “Well you know how much I love to dote on you. I believe Mrs. Bell had made your favorite dessert for the party.”
Laughing himself he pulled her back into his arms and kissed her a bit harder then usual. His arms around her waist not daring to let go. Their kisses becoming deeper with the spring air dancing around them.
“I love you so much my Clara.”
“And I you my darling husband.”
With that they headed off back to Ledford. After promising Percival that they would tell him later, he understood. Then their guests started to come with Annabelle on the piano. Clara insisting on holding Georgiana the entire time except to a certain few people.
Clara held their daughter close as he could only watch them together. Georgiana already had his blue eyes and her dark hair despite being only a few weeks old. Unable to stop smiling he could picture their family just growing more and more, all their daughters just as beautiful as their mother. The future and what could happen would just have to wait. They had this moment together right now.

Nothing to Worry About
The Elementalists/Beckett x MC
Summary: Beckett can read his wife like a book, or can he? In which they brighten each other’s day.
Author’s Note: NSFW warning! The end gets pretty steamy. Fun fact, this was supposed to fill the prompt uniform (and expand on a scene) for the challenge but wasn’t sure about finishing it or do a mother of the year story. Since it was half way written I just decided to finish it and post it outside the challenge. Since I nerd out over school supplies, I figured that he would to. Enjoy!
Beckett Harrington had abandoned his wife and children in the grocery aisle. He had made a beeline straight to the school supply section. A bit amused Ellie had just shaken her head promising to meet him later. He had heard her before nodding and heading off. The smell of new paper and right around the corner.
Multi-colored folders, three ring binders, and stacks of paper of all kinds. Ellie would say that he was acting very nerdish right now, but he saw it as a compliment. Quickly he got down to business selecting materials for his own work. Then the school list for Cassia as she was starting kindergarten here soon.
“Beckett,” said Ellie as she saw him with a stack of materials. “You’re a nerd but you’re my nerd, I got the stuff that they asked to bring in. Including two-ply tissues.”
“Perfect!” he said a bit too enthusiastically.
Ellie looked at him with a long strange look. Next to her hovering next to her was the basket of groceries. Seth playing a game with Cassia keeping them busy. She narrowed her eyes at him before shrugging slightly. He’d tell her eventually before continuing to the check out.
Making sure that the kids didn’t hear them, she crossed her arms.
“Okay what’s wrong?” she asked looking for the magical clothes shop for the school uniform. “I know you love school and is excited for her to start, but something feels off.”
He just looked at her a little stunned, his eyebrow’s shot up and a small tug on his lips before pulling her close to him. Beckett brushed a few stray hairs from her face before leaning in and pressing his lips to hers softly. She kissed him back as his hand rested on her stomach feeling their daughter kick against his hand.
She smiled at him before squeezing his hand.
“I’m just really excited since they changed the curriculum since I went to school there,” he said. “They’ll actually learn something besides naptime.” He still felt the disappointment from his first day.
Giggling Ellie just looked over at their children.
“Okay that’s good, I was just concerned. I mean she’s going off to school for the first time and that’s a big mile stone with more to come. She won’t be home all day and making friends with the other kids. I’m happy that your happy which makes me happier.”
She had pulled out a coloring book for them as they sat down at a cafe for lunch. Beckett just kept smiling pleased with what just happened. She probably thought that he would be worried. Then his smile faltered some. Was that worrying her?
They had turned into a clothing shop ready to start uniform shopping. As a good husband and who dearly he knew that something was wrong. Judging from their conversation he knew exactly why. She was nervous about school starting. No matter he knew exactly how to fix this.
“So, I think we have some where else to stop by,” he said once lunch was over. “You know that shop that specializes in riding on air currents? I think that would be fun.”
“YES!” shouted Cassia as Beckett looked over at Ellie who did brighten up considerably. Okay part one was complete. Next was part two to be covered tonight.
+++++++++++++++
After a fun filled day and putting the kids down early. Then did he execute part two of his plan which involved materials courtesy of Shreya Mistry. He had gotten her a spa prepared with candles and everything. Making sure that everything was secure for the night he stripped knowing that he didn’t have to wait long.
“Beckett,” said Ellie as she came in from their closet. “Whoa…”
“Well,” he said hoping that she was ready for what he would do. A bottle of her favorite sweet-smelling lotion in his hands.
She had zeroed in on him and a slick small smile on her face.
“Forget the spa stuff just take me now.”
With that she dove under the covers leaving him a little speechless. She always managed to surprise him which honestly made things better.
“Yes ma’am…”
A shiver ran down her spine while just kissed her long and hard. Since he was already naked it was just a matter of getting her undressed. He let his fingers soothingly run down her body. His hand ghosting along the line of her hip. She whimpered at the slight touches and wrapped her arms around his check playing with the hair on the back of his neck.
Kissing down her collarbone did he nip at the soft skin hoping to leave a mark of some kind. Just like she did to him. He had rubbed his hands along her breast making tingles run down his spine as her body reacted accordingly. The candles flickering faster before eventually being blown out from Ellie’s air magic.
A twisting sound from somewhere in the room indicated that his magic was working overtime.
“Ellie, I swear you’re more and more beautiful every day… You’re my sunshine.”
His hands had fingered her opening softly his fingers slick with her desire for him. Working a little faster did he kiss her abdomen.
“Beckett… don’t stop… You don’t’ have to be gentle I just want you ins…”
Seeing the cue for him to make his move did his hands grip her shoulders. She grinned a him softly before plunging his cock into her. Oh gosh, she was already so warm and sticky. He was like putty in her hands.
“Beckett!”
He was already buried inside of her, their hips doing a slow sensual dance matching each other’s pace. She let out a low guttural scream. He had covered her mouth to avoid arousing the children awake. Reaching their climax together did he collapse back next to her.
“I hope that made your day better and brighter,” he said pulling the covers over them. There was no way that she would put her night clothes back on.
Ellie looked at him a little confused. “What made you think my day wasn’t bright?” she asked teasingly. He froze up for a minute and turned to face her. His hand going to rest on her bare hip.
“It’s just that when we were shopping you said that you concerned about Cassia starting school. I just thought that you were a little nervous about it. So I wanted to make things brighter…”
She was quiet for a minute and her smile had disappeared for a second. Was he wrong? Oh no, that was just bad before she shook her head.
“Well I’m a little upset since the classes I teach aren’t exactly in line with hers. Everything is easy now with them home. No it’s just that. Oh man I didn’t want to tell you this way.”
She had sighed and pushed up against him. He had pulled her into a hug before whispering to him.
“Do you remember when I get moody?” she asked softly a hand cupping his cheek. “Beckett I’m having another baby.”
Kissing her head tenderly did he rest a hand on her stomach. Really?! She nodded at him biting her bottom lip and… “That’s the sexiest thing you can tell me.”
Turning a little red Ellie just nodded giggling softly. “Yea I think it is too.”

Quick Author’s Note
Figured that I’d post this as something separate since I don’t know who actually reads my authors notes on the stories and what not lol. Any who:
So, my plan going forward for the year. I’m finishing the last day of the challenge tonight. I’ll have something tomorrow. Then on Sunday I’ll post this D&D story that I started that didn’t fill anything and as a nice wrap up for the holiday special ending. Plus update my master list.
Then I’ll take a break before picking up again when around February when Open Heart 2 releases or even The Royal Heir 2 depending. I’ll finish some of these other stories I have started on my fanfiction account. I might post something sporadically here unless someone asks for something.
Going forward I have:
Saturday will be an unfinished TE story
D&D Sunday and then update my Master List
Thanks for reading and I hope that everyone has a safe and fun 2020! If anyone has anything shoot me a message.
I’m tagging all general but I hope others that follow me get to see it too.

To Freeze that Moment in Time
Open Heart/Naveen POV + Minor Ethan Ramsey x MC
Summary: Naveen is just thankful to be apart of Clarissa and Ethan’s life and gets gratitude in the sweetest way.
Author’s Note: My last Open Heart story until book 2 comes out (at least I think I have something started saved on my computer lol). For day 41 of the 41 Days of Cheer, Freeze. I really like the outside point of view from the main pairs. I actually have one for a mother of year in mind, maybe I’ll do that later. Enjoy!
Naveen Banerji quietly sat at the park bench the pigeons fluttering around. This part of the Boston Commons quiet except for the party going on. Observing the crowd, he made out several of the doctors from the hospital, friends, and even family. Yes, he had even gotten to meet Ethan’s parents. Which honestly his protégé had made out to be horrible. They weren’t. He even met Clarissa’s parents and they were a delight.
“Naveen,” said a voice from behind him. Ahh that was Ethan as he was holding a cup out for him. Ahh yes, a cup of lemonade was nice.
He sat down next to him as the two men clinked their glasses together and watched the party around them. It was quiet but quiet was always nice knowing just how much Ethan’s life just turned out. Grinning softly, he just turned to stare at him for a moment.
Ethan noticed and stared right back.
“What?” he asked.
“Oh nothing,” he said turning back to the party. Clarissa had just accepted a gift from Harper of all people. It was good to see that they all got along.
“What?”
“Can’t I just look at you?” he asked again and then at the crowd gathering around a carriage. “In case you must know I’m proud of you.”
Ethan paused and crinkled his brow at the sudden words.
“Proud of me?”
“Yes, Ethan about seven years ago at this time you’d be in the hospital. We both would without fail trying to do our best. We’d probably go out to some coffee shop and do it all over again. If Clarissa hadn’t come here, I’d bet you’d still be that person.” He paused and smiled over at the woman that he could easily call a daughter to him. Or rather daughter-in-law if Ethan was his son. “And now you’re married, and you have children; a daughter and a son at that.”
They watched the crowd around them. Some hospital staff lingered close to them but still a distance away so they wouldn’t hear what they were talking about. Next to him Ethan had paused and looked down at his untouched drink. Or rather minus the sip he had taken before dumping it.
Naveen watched him do it and smiled.
“That had vodka in it,” said Ethan. “And you’re right I don’t think we’d be here at all. I mean I started to drink heavily when you got sick. For all I know both of us might be… His voice trailed off for a moment and continued. “You know how you told me that you never stopped working and missed chances and friendships because of it? I’m glad that we’re giving each other that chance.”
“You know what they say, one person can change a life. Too bad you can’t drink to that, but I know I can.” With that he finished his own cup of the none liquored lemonade.
Ethan crumbled his empty cup and just smiled weakly. “I know that you don’t want me to repeat your mistakes, but you’re still someone that I strive to be.”
Then there was a shout for him in the crowd gesturing for him to go, Naveen watched him meet up with Aurora in the crowd. There was some kind of game going on. He really didn’t need to know and just watched. He had kissed his mom’s cheek, the kid’s heads, and shaking his father’s hand. Then softly kissing his wife.
Ahh yes Clarissa. Her character spoke volumes and her heart in the right place. She had that spark, a good optimistic outlook and realistic attitude. Plus, she celebrated those little victories. Clarissa Sinclaire was good for him.
Getting up he headed toward everyone getting a second plate of food. The fried chicken and the mac and cheese was just amazing together. Spying the young (or at least young to him) couple he watched them sneak away for a minute. Ethan pulling her aside the twilight sky turning just the right shade of purple and pink. The hanging light flickering on above everyone’s head.
Turning back to his food did they finish before standing up in front of everyone.
“So before we leave,” said Clarissa being passed a baby. Ethan stood next to her his eyes glancing over at him. “Ethan and I aren’t particularly religious and we’re not having a baptism or anything. It’s probably kind of strange that today is the baby shower and the babies are already born.”
A laugh started among the crowd everyone giving them rapt attention.
“So, we’re having this party now,” said Ethan finishing his sentence. He smiled down at her his eyes never leaving hers for a long moment. “While we have everyone here, we just want to acknowledge that we have some important people that we want to have part of Adaline and Patrick’s lives.”
He had watched them take hands already having an inkling of a feeling of where this was going.
“I’d like to say that I’d really like to acknowledge Doctor Sienna Trinh to have a fairy godmother like presence in their lives.”
From her spot in the crowd Sienna squealed happily and clapped her hands. Someone had pushed her to the front to stand next to Ethan and Clarissa. She wasn’t crying as much as she was bouncing around all giddy with excitement.
“Yes! Eeep! I will forever be a part of their lives. I will teach you how to cook and you’d get extra cuddles and…” She smiled for a picture from the photographer, which just so happened to be Clarissa’s sister in law.
Ethan peered over into the crowd and gave him that knowing look. That one that said you know what’s coming to you.
“I’m not going to use the term fairy godfather,” said Ethan. A quick laugh rumbled across the crowd. “But I do want to recognize Naveen Banerji. I can’t imagine being here without you.”
Taking his place next to them did he smile for the photo and accept the infant into his arms. The image of them frozen in time. Maybe one day they’d all look back on a recording and freeze the moment just to see how happy they all were. Plus now he had a picture to put on his desk.

Change In This Season
Mother of the Year/Thomas x MC + family bonding
Summary: Thomas has some news that might change his family forever, just as the season changes.
Author’s Note: Well this is my last mother of the year story (at least for a while now). For the 41 Days of Cheer and the prompt Winter. Tried to do something sweet and slightly dramatic, so hopefully you like it still. Enjoy!
The weather was changing as the cold started to nip at everyone’s noses. Thomas lingered in his bed watching Gloriana sleep next to him, her breathing heavy. He could hear the house settle and the sound of Lucia getting up. She always the first to rise anymore.
Slowly creeping out he could hear the voices.
“Come on it’s our first day of winter break,” said Luz down the hall. “Why are we up?”
“I just figured that we do something for mom and Thomas,” said Lucia.
Raising his eyebrows, he could see them heading into the kitchen. His step-daughter pulling out the materials to cook breakfast with. Luz had found the ingredients to make omelets. Ahh they were trying to make breakfast for them. Part of him wondered what the catch was as he made a show of yawning and walking past them to the fridge.
“Dad what are you doing up?” asked Luz holding the orange juice pitcher.
“Gotta go in early, you two may be off but I’m not. What’s all this sitting out for?” he asked looking at the bacon already in the frying pan.
The two girls looked at each other and shrugged. “We wanted to make breakfast for you and mom,” said Lucia.  “Well I wanted to because you got me out of going to my dad’s all weekend.”
Ahh that’s why as he smiled thinly. Guy had been rather pushy about her staying with him the entire time. Lucia had gotten a job as a student volunteer at the science museum at the space center and needed to put in at least four hours twice a month. It’s what she had to do.
“Well a simple thank you would have been okay. However, I will take some of this bacon.”
With that he had taken a stripe and filled his glass.
“Are custody arrangements going to have to change?” asked Luz looking at him. “I mean can Lucia stay with us on the weekend?”
He thought about it before seeing Gloriana walking bleary eyed into the room walking next to her was Nicolas holding her hand. Well he did need to give an honest answer.
“Well yes, if you’re schedule needs to be adjusted, we will have to. But it’s something that we’ll sort out when there is something constant.”
His two fourteen-year-old daughters just grinned at each other excited. To be fair he was too. Sometimes Guy wouldn’t exactly let them see her on the weekend saying it was his time. At least with any new arrangements they’d have the chance.
Gloriana watched as Luz made the French toast before smiling at him. She had flashed him a brilliant smile.
“Well thank you girls for the breakfast,” she said. “It’s nice to have you cook for us and on the first day of winter break when you could have slept in.”
“I do plan on going back to bed when dad leaves,” said Luz.
“Then we’ll make the most of breakfast.”
They had finished leaving him to head to his car. Today started out great, what could possibly go wrong?
+++++++++++++
“The confidentiality and ethics of almost any company is to never give out information to anyone. Unless of course it’s the person being reviewed of course. You never know who might be impersonating an officer,” said Thomas as the man was being handcuffed. From her spot in the back of the courtroom Gloriana just proudly watched on as her husband knew exactly what he was doing.
She had just gotten a call from him earlier today about meeting him at work. In her arms Nicolas was playing with her phone not making a sound. Staying in the back she waited for the court room to empty. Thomas and the other lawyers finishing up their businesses.
“Yea, your daddy did a great job this afternoon,” she said to Nicolas who was slumped off napping in her lap. Oh well, he’d watch more court cases later.
The last couple of people left leaving Thomas standing near the judge’s stand staring up at the clock. Hugging their two-year-old close she went up to him and tapped his shoulder.
“Gloriana, I’m glad you’re here,” he said sighing as went to hold their son.
The diaper bag hanging off her arm as she tried her best to kiss his cheek. He had slipped his hand in hers before walking off back to his car. Their conversation quiet to not wake him up. She crinkled her eyebrows because something was just off. He was not nervous or anything but he still didn’t bring up the text she had gotten from him earlier.
Once back at his office did Thomas make sure his door was shut and a notice saying that he was at lunch on the door. Confused she sat Nicolas down on the floor to play with his toys from the bag. This had to be serious.
“Thomas what’s going on?” she asked while he took a seat staring at her from across the desk. “You’re starting to scare me.”
I got it,” he said after a minute. “You know how I wanted to work up to be a partner? I got offered the position.”
She froze up for a moment before a huge smile broke out onto her face. Oh my gosh, he got that job. He had been wanting it for so long or at least since their engagement. There had been hints that they might hire someone from his branch, and he was considering taking it if he was offered it. It was less time in a court room and more boss like stuff but he felt reading for it.
Covering her mouth to not squeal too loud did she lean over the desk kissing him hard and fast. One hand cupping his cheek and the other running through his hair. She went to adjust herself to sit on his desk before Thomas pulled away.
“Thomas this is wonderful, you’ll be a partner it’s great benefits. You’ll get more money and… Honestly the only down is that you’ll have to work more hours.”
“Don’t get excited for me just yet. Yes, this what I want but there’s a stipulation,” he said running his hand through his hair. “They want me to move. To Boston.”
A bit stumped she just went to tenderly kiss him once more. A move wasn’t something hat she was expecting but that was okay. They would worst things out before Thomas pressed back nearly forgetting where they were.
Breaking apart the kiss she smiled down at Nicolas who wasn’t even paying any attention.
“Thomas, that’s okay we’ll all support you.” She said putting a hand on his chest where his heart would be. “Luz, Lucia, Nicolas and I will follow you to Australia if they want you to move there. We want you to be happy and to follow your heart. What’s making you want to say no?”
He glanced down at their son who just happily played with his toy as if nothing had happened.
“Like you said the hours and days will be longer and it’s less time with you,” he said pushing a stray hair behind her ear. “I’ll have less time in court and Lucia. As much as I tolerate Guy the custody arrangements will change, and we might have to lose her for a summer.”
Gloriana took in a breath not liking those cons but her smile never wavered. “Thomas, I don’t want you to say no because of Lucia. Guy and I could sort something out even if it does mean losing her for some time. The custody arrangements are going to have to change anyway because of her schedule.”
Stumped she thought of how she would be starting high school. Weekend plans with her friends instead of her dad. Club trips and her volunteering or really anything new would change their agreement.
“Not only that but you will still have time with us, I promise. Yes, things are changing but the one constant thing that we have is each other. You supported me when I decided to go back to school and I’m supporting you to take that chance. If you don’t want it, I don’t want to push you into doing something that you don’t want to do.”
Thomas just stared at her long and hard as she pressed his hand to her chest and then into a hug. Hugging her back he smiled into her hair. Then reached for Nicolas pulling him into his lap leaving him to play with his tie.
“I’ll think about it,” he said. “I mean I really don’t want to leave Alma, or Eiko, heck even Favie.”
She giggled at that last one remembering how by some random meddling and a concert tour with Audra, did Faye and Levi end up dating. Faye’s followers gave them a couple name like Brangelina and it ended up being Favie of all things. It was cute but no one could predict how long the relationship would last.
“Okay, just take your time. Do you want to go and get some lunch before you have to prepare for your next case?” she asked straightening out his hair lovingly.
“Yea that’d be great, what do you say about something quick from Chipotle?”
Nodding he cleaned up the desk while she held Nicolas’s hands helping him walk across the floor. His tiny feet making little sound as he watched them. Gloriana was right, no matter what decision was made, they had each other. He didn’t want to miss spending time with his family for the world.

Tis’ the Season to Have Babies
Desire and Decorum/Ernest Sinclaire x MC + an some minor various pairs.
Summary: In which Clara learns that she’s expecting around the same time as everyone else in London it seems.
Author’s Note: Fun fact I had this story in mind since I saw the prompt list. No joke, I was like that’s going to be the baby story. If you scroll down my list you’ll see a bunch of names that’s how it’ll connect. For the 41 Days of Cheer and the prompt Expecting.
The whole family was invited to Viscountess Lavinia’s baby shower. And Clara Sinclaire wanted to make sure that everyone was prepared and ready to leave. The party was set to start at noon after all. Waddling her way up to her room she could hear Harry and Theresa getting prepared. Then Briar and Edmund as well. Edgewater was starting to get fuller and fuller as they had children themselves.
Ernest had finished straightening his cravat as she stepped into the room. Just a quick change and make sure her hair looked nice.
“I have the present,” he said gesturing to a wrapped gift on their bed. “Are you sure I must go?”
“If I have to go full with child, you have to as well,” she said. “It will quite entertaining I’d imagine.”
After all she was expecting her first child in a few weeks. Theresa in currently in her sixth month and her dress showing off her stomach. Briar had fortunately had her daughter back in February and bringing her three-month-old daughter Katharine.
Ernest stared intently at her as she felt a blush creep to her cheeks. Then stepped in front of her to run a hand down her stomach. He could feel the kick of their child while she just smiled already envisioning him holding their son late at night together. She was positive it was a boy, but Ernest had insisted that it might be a daughter.
“Alright, only because you’re insisting. She had a son, didn’t she?” asked Ernest breaking his gaze away from her to kiss her softly. “Can you imagine our child growing up with hers?”
“I’d imagine that it’d be fun,” she said raising an eyebrow. Her hand slipped into his as they savored the moment before having to leave.
With that they were off as it was starting to get hard to move around. Smiling she sat next to Theresa in the carriage as she had insisted on going together. Harry and Theresa talking about what they would name their baby if it was a boy.
“Are you sure that we can’t argue about the name Vincent?” asked Harry to her and Ernest. Her husband had shaken his head.
“If our baby is born first and it’s a boy, we will name him Vincent,” said Ernest. “But if we have a girl and you have a boy his name will be Vincent, that is the arrangement.”
“And we stand firm with that,” added Clara.
Theresa only shrugged happy with the decision. As much as she loved the earl, she had insisted on naming the boy Timothy after her father. Harry took his wife’s hand rubbing it softly not saying anything. They both wanted to honor their late father. If only Briar had a son, she would have beaten them both to the punch!
“Jane for a girl then,” said Harry as they pulled in front of the Viscount’s home.
In front of them Luke Harper and his wife Cordelia were carrying in their son. Well the nursemaid was while the young couple holding hands, leisurely heading inside. The former Donna Bowman also struggling to walk with her pregnant belly.
It appeared that the year of the lord 1818 were so many women expecting a child. First Briar and so forth until the end of the year.
“I’ve never seen so many women together that looked like this,” said Harry a bit surprised.
“Me either, it must be half of London,” said Ernest holding Clara’s hand as they exited the carriage.
Clara was just excited to be able to give advice she had been passed onto and hear more. Clutching her gift did they enter the parlor set up all nice and neat. Lavinia standing next to the cradle to show off her and Westonly’s son.
Walking up to them did she drop off the gift with the others and peered at him. Ernest being pulled along also looked down at the child. He was very handsome with much of Lavinia’s features. Although she was thinking of what her baby would be like.
“Thank you for coming,” said Lavinia hugging her as best as possible and then Ernest as well. “Please have a snack. You’re a good friend to me Clara and I insist you hold him.”
Not even getting a chance to thank her for inviting them, Lavinia had put the infant in her arms. Oh, now that was different. Aww but he was so adorable sitting here as she had burped making Clara smile.
“You look very natural holding a baby,” said Ernest from over her shoulder. “I can’t wait for ours.”
“Yes, you’re having a baby,” said Lavinia not really hearing him. “Congratulations. Now I simply must show off little Anthony to some others. I believe that this is my chance to rub it into Miss Holloway?”
Clara passed her the infant as she laughed a little. There were a few young women here that didn’t have a baby yet, Miss Holloway included. With that she kissed Ernest’s cheek to talk with some would be expecting fathers. Perhaps Mr. Chambers who had been invited as well. It appeared that their usual social group had been invited with or without children.
From her spot she watched as Briar attempted to get Katharine to be friends with the young Westonly child. She and Edmund never really leaving each other’s side staying close to the window.
Harry and Theresa smiling at each other and exchanging long glances before eventually leaving the party discreetly to the outside area.
Cordelia and Luke part of the attention while they just praised their son like a prodigy. How she wanted to try again for another.
Watching them Clara went to find her husband. Ernest had been caught in a conversation with Viscount Westonly talking about war techniques again. Grateful for the escape she had pulled him out of site from the others. Then somewhere far away from where she hoped Harry and Theresa would be.
“Thank you for getting me away…”
Before Ernest could finished his sentence did Clara press her lips against his, arms going around his neck pulling him as close as she could. Savoring the moment Ernest kissed her back not stopping until they had to breath. Taking the advantage of the moment he peppered her face with kisses, her forehead, cheeks, that spot that made her squirm against him at the base of her neck.
She had adjusted to sit on a chair in the dining room.
“Ernest,” she breathed pulling him close. “Is it bad that just being here, I wish our baby was born today?”
Ernest sucked in a breath shaking his head no. Of course not, if anything he wished that she would have had their child last week. He took a sharp intake of breath for starting to kiss her lips, there fingers interwoven together.
“Every time you are with Katharine or even holding Anthony, makes me think of the dozens of children I want to have with you.”
Clara brought a hand up and cradled his cheek.
“And a dozen babies we will have,” she said enjoying their quiet moment as the party continued around them.

Feels Like We’re Making History
The Royal Romance/ MC x Liam ft. Maxwell Beaumont
Summary: In which Alexandra learns more about Cordonia along with a sweet moment with her husband.
Author’s Note: For the 41 Days of Cheer with the prompt funny. Tomorrow’s will definitely be D&D because I already started it at the beginning of the month. I wanted to do something like this because the crossover potential is great, and I want to see how they combine the two in the next Royal Heir book. I’m not sure if this comes off as more weird or funny so I’ll let reader be the judge. Enjoy!
A history of Cordonia sat on Alexandra’s knees as they were propped up. Next to her was baby Kenna bouncing in her chair. On the other side of her Maxwell was also reading a different history book. Hana making flashcards. Liam also reading about a new archeological dig on his ultra-protected tablet.
“Okay so ask me anything about Cordonia,” said Alexandra going to start nursing tugging at her shirt.
“I got one, what weapon did queen Anaria use to save the kingdom from the Iron empire?” asked Maxwell from his spot springing into action.
Geez, now that was out of left field as Maxwell proudly held up his history of Cordonian weaponry book. Snorting Alexandra just thought about trying to figure that one out. Only two queens have faced the iron empire and those were Kenna and Anaria. Shoot, she thought before guessing.
“The kor-kitar?” she asked knowing that it wasn’t really right.
“Nope it was the Golden Mountain Fang, although Kenna used that weapon to fight off King Luther,” he said proudly reading from the book. “This is kind of fun to read about. One-time Bertrand made me read about our ancestors and I had a dream about us meeting them.”
Alexandra giggled softly to herself before wondering out loud. “Can you tell us about the dream Maxwell?”
From their spots Liam, Hana, and Drake all looked at him curious as Maxwell pretended to think about it. It had to be a decent dream if he remembered it. Situating himself in the middle of the room and sitting on the library’s table. Maxwell made himself comfortable as he drifted off into a story.
++++++
They were in the middle of the ballroom. Bertrand and Maxwell arguing over how they were going to decorate it for hosting Princess Kenna’s first birthday. Since Maxwell was her godfather it seemed only natural.
“We have to make a good impression Maxwell, Alexandra and Liam are going to be here.”
“But they know us and they’re good friends. We don’t have to make it look that special do we?” asked Maxwell looking around the room. “Although I think Kenna would appreciate a bouncy house in the corner.”
His brother just looked slightly unhinged at that as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Bertrand closed his eyes and just sighed. Maxwell looked at him and then over at the corner ready to visualize it as he stared at the portrait above the area. It looked weird, like they were moving.
Shrugging he just turned to look at the other end of the room. They could have a buffet styled thing set up and the caterers could put it all up over there. Since it was supposed to be a small affair, they could make it less fancy. Hmm….
“This is not going to be a small thing. The kingdom is going to expect…”
Maxwell ignored his brother for a minute before turning back to the portrait. It definitely moved as he watched it come alive. The woman was the first to move as he crooked his head to the side. A woman with dark brown curly hair and a maroon and gold jacket-bodice stepped out of it.
“And farther more,” continued Bertrand.
“Uhhh Ber…”
“Don’t you dare interrupt me. Are you paying attention?”
Behind him another portrait moved as he just watched someone step out of it. This guy looked a lot like him. Like seriously. It was almost as if a version of him grew a full beard and put on Renaissance clothes. Which in this case was blue and gold doublet over a white linen shirt.
The two figured blinked at each other and smiled before turning to face them.
“Bertrand,” he said finally snapping and turning his brother around.
The older man just looked puzzled at them and turned back to Maxwell. “Did you hire someone in costume?”
“No, they stepped out of the portraits,” said Maxwell pointing to the frames? Wait a second, they were still in the pictures, but the two people were looking at them. What? He had to study too much as Bertrand went from the portraits to the people in front of them. Then with the blink of an eye the frames were empty after all.
To his shock Bertrand stepped back and looked just as surprised as him.
“That’s… That’s Lord Percival Beaumont. How did this happen? We can’t take care of them. Maxwell what did you do?”
“Why do you assume it was me?” he asked a little offended as the two waved to them. “Oh that’s Lady Annalisa Beaumont. She’s… She’s just as pretty as the picture.”
He cleared his throat and stepped over to meet the two. Bertrand tried to hold him back as Maxwell just got close. Neither had a weapon on them like a sword or anything cool. Hmm. Annalisa and Percival had stepped back as if he had a weapon on him.
“I come in peace,” he said slowly and carefully.
“Hello,” said Annalisa as Percival had taken her arm.
“Hello, you know you two married and everything right? You had a kid who had a kid and so forth. The Beaumont legacy still lives on.”
“Pardon?” said Percival confused.
“It’s like I have two Percival and I can’t wait to see what happens,” said Annalisa happily as she reached out for him.
+++++++++++
“And then I woke up,” said Maxwell finishing his story. “This is what I get for reading a book on Bertrand’s recommended list.”
With that all his friends and himself just burst into laughter. That was a good one to meet his ancestors like that. Annalisa and Percival would be very surprised to see how the kingdom has changed in the past 500 years or so.
Wiping her eyes Alexandra looked down at Kenna to see her fast asleep while cradling her breast with two hands. Aww she thought and looked over at Liam who just shut down his tablet now curious about a different portrait in the library as he was staring at it.
“Liam I’m going to lay her down,” she said. “Would you like to come with me?”
“Oh yes of course,” he said.
With that they had walked into the hall. Alexandra holding Kenna and Liam had wheeled out the bouncing chair together. A far off look on his face as she was curious to know what he was thinking about. Something about their conversation already told her what she needed to know.
It was quiet for a moment until they were far away from the library. Getting close to him she just blinked up at Liam.
“Just curious do you have old portraits of your family like that anywhere?” she asked. “I mean I’d love to know whose lineage I carried on.”
Liam smiled as he thought about it. “Well supposedly Queen Kenna, the one named our daughter after. The TV show The Crown and the Flame is based on her story, although I’m pretty sure dragons weren’t really involved. Although I do believe is among us. After all, how do you think I met you?” he said staring intently down at her.
Alexandra broke into a grin as they entered the nursery.
“Well how spectacular is that?” she said laying down Kenna in the crib. “Are you directly related to her?”
“I believe so? In the 1600s there was a fight for the throne by the five houses. It’s believed that Queen Kendra had a secret daughter or a niece that she had hidden. I believe she eventually was found and took the throne and now here we are.”
She got close to him and pulled him into a hug and then a deep kiss as she tightened her grip on him. Liam eagerly kissed back hungry more for her. His lips opened for her as she kissed just as hungry back. They stayed like that as he hugged her waist as if it was their last kiss.
“You know I believe that there is magic among us too,” she whispered to him and looked down at Kenna. There was nothing better then a mother’s love and smiled at Liam. It was hard to not smile at him. “I feel like I’m making history just being with you.”
“Oh you are,” he said. “Shall we sneak off for an early dessert?”
“We shall.”
With that they were off to the kitchen.
