Okay listen, I know there are mixed feelings about rhythm games out there, but let’s be fuckin’ real- if I had to play the bullshit mechanics of Chain of Memories for highly important story, y’all can play Ice Cream Beats: The Game for relevant story.

Everyone keeps talking about how they wanna see Kairi and Riku look for Sora, but we're forgetting the real MVPs here. Who's to say Goofy and Donald wouldn't drop EVERYTHING and join these two in their quest???
Sora is their baby. Donald and Goofy are his dads. They were always there to help and comfort him. They couldn't even commit to abandoning him ONCE despite it being their king's orders. They sure as heck got the strength to do it, too. Goofy is a tank who took a boulder to the face and survived. While Donald is the most OP mage in Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts history. The gameplay gives him a bad rap. Donald is raw, untamed power in the cutscenes. A glass cannon (or nuke?), if you will.
I'm all for seeing Kairi and Riku save their boy, but if I don't see Sora's two dads join in the chaos I will personally fight Nomura on it

Even the upteenth time around, I still can’t believe they ended this damn game with Sora just...fading like that. I remember being like “oh my god, they’re gonna kiss”
And then...gone. I screeched out loud, because how could they hurt me like that??
But it’s okay- Riku and Kairi are going to team up and save their boyfriend from Shibuya sometime hopefully in the next five years (*cries ugly tears as I beg Nomura and Square Enix to make the next game just a little faster than this one*)
But with that, I am officially ready for this DLC to drop, so I can scream about that, too.
