Let's talk about 'take your time'

When I say ‘take your time’, what I mean is:

Take.  Your.  Time.

If you have muse for another thread? You can reply to that.

If you have muse for another character?  Guess what; you can reply to that too.

If you’re getting feels for another ship?  OMFG. YOU H0R.  No, seriously.  You can reply to that, lmfao.

If you’re overwhelmed with other threads?  It’s okay; seriously.  I don’t hate you, I don’t think any less of you.  You get to ours when you can.

If you want to drop a thread because you’ve lost inspiration with it; same as above.  I don’t hate you.  I’d rather you told me than fretted and thought omfg she’s gonna hate me when actually, the opposite is true.

Muses can be fickle, fickle things and I shouldn’t have to say this but when dipshits come out with stuff like ‘take your time doesn’t mean you can reply to something else’ — actually, it does with me.

Anybody who plots with me, RPs with me, even talks to me; I love.  Dearly.  And when they reply I squeal like a mad thing because omg the flawless (seriously).

RPing is meant to be fun, lovelies.  Don’t suck the fun out of it by being passive aggressive and a bit of a twat by saying shit things like that.

Take your time means take your time — it’s YOUR character, your blog.  You reply to who you want when you want or when you’re ready/have the muse, okay?  <3

Diana stops in a dark alley leaning against a wall as she tries to catch her breath. Her hand is pressed against her torso, despite her healing abilities, they were rather slow in her human form. However she had to keep her mind focused, she couldn't afford to lose control in the moment. She needed to find somewhere to hide for a moment, just till her wound could heal a little more. She carefully kicked herself off of the wall she was leaning against, but not without wincing. She staggered away deeper into the darkness, till she sensed something. She made a weak attempt to stand straighter as she whispered into the void,

"...plan to do something?"

She had walks into the woman's washroom to freshen up a bit, she wasn't bad participating in gala's but it wasn't something she was overly fond of either. In reality, if Betty did have the choice she would be either back home or in her lab. However she did promise her father...and a friend that she'd stay a little longer, that being around people may do her some good. In exchange they wouldn't bring it up again for three months.

As she gently placed on powder to get rid of some slight shine on her face she walked back out to where the main event was being held. As she stepped out she paused taking a moment to glance around the room. Yup...still people in suits and gowns. She sighed slightly before making her way to the bar. She was on a mission to at least grab a drink to pass the time. Little did she know that as she walked a few heads would turn to take a glance at her beauty.

And little did she know, that someone would take an interest and possibly go to her to make conversation. Who was interested, and what the interest was is unknown, even to the writer typing this.

These papers seemed to be never ending, and yet this was one of the few things she lived for. Jen's true purpose in life was being a lawyer, though becoming She-Hulk altered the way she pictured her life in law to be. Though only slightly...

She was just about to give herself a break, and perhaps order some take out when she heard a knock on her door. She glanced over and spoke softly to herself,

"Now who could that be?"

With a slight sniff she stood up, stretching her arms behind her a bit as she walked over to her door. When she opened her door she seemed almost confused at first,

"I...uh..was not expecting you.."

USEFUL SITES FOR ROLEPLAYERS

Thought I'd make a list of some useful websites for those of us who enjoy roleplaying and what have you here on Tumblr and whatnot.

roleplay formatter: Made by the awesome @rpclefairy. I honestly can't recommend this one enough. Great for adding color, changing the font size, and the whole shebang with bold + italics + underline + strikethrough. 10/10 always use

fsymbols + emojipedia: These are both great for making your tags fancy and whatnot.

alt codes: This is genuinely great for teaching you how to make the symbols with your keyboard for everyday use so there's that. It's especially useful if you and/or your muses speak a second language so that's a bonus.

text color fader: *marge vc* I just think gradient effects on text is neat. *end marge vc*

list of colors (wikipedia): Has a list of an infinite number of colors and their hex codes. Very useful if I do say so, myself. But that's just me.

screencapped.net: Great for getting all sorts of screenshots for making icons, GFXs, promos, and whatnot.

fancaps.net: Also great for getting all sort of screencaps for making icons, GFXs, promos, and whatnot. My only complaint is that it's a little annoying to navigate so here's the proper links to movies, tv shows, and anime.

photopea: Great if you can't afford Photoshop and/or don't like using GIMP.

hakuneko: It's not so much a website as much as it is a program. You can download manga, comics, webtoons, doujinshi, etc. for making your icons, GFXs, promos, and whatnot. It's also just a great way to read stuff and catch up on everything.

The wolf is still-" She stops then slow turns sensing something else. Or did she hear something? Either way she scans the area in case of enemies or pervs.

Interact with your mutuals. 

Send in memes, like and comment on their posts, send them messages. Do NOT always sit there and WAIT for them to message you, first. Sitting and waiting for the other person to make the move leads NO WHERE with each other, because who knows if the OTHER is waiting for you to do the same.

Roleplaying is a partnership, it goes both ways. 

You can’t always expect to only get responses to memes and starters without also putting in and doing the same for others, too.

Practice reblog karma.  Send in things for your mutuals. Interact with their posts. Show interest.
