i think the “NEW new” bit in the game was them emphasizing that they have a new captain, but im pretty sure the official title is still New Squidbeak Splatoon. imagine how exhausting it would get to add an extra “new” every time they get a new captain KANSKJHS. which, getting a new captain isn’t a thing that happens very often, but still yknow. ))

Also, I am loving all the stuff y'all have sent to the inbox so far! Just know I am working on getting them answered! It may be a bit, because a friend and I are working on some funky lore for this. B) Consider it like a bit of an AU?? Still very much following canon events, but we're adding some stuff. canon divergence/au sort of. we have a lot thought out, our brains are very full of lore. But that is all I will give you, because we want to keep it (mostly) secret until we get it more organized.

But in the meantime, keep those asks coming! I will do my best to answer them!
