if you think about it, turfing inklings(especially the agent's) should be pretty muscular right?
like they spend all day shooting ink, sure it might be ink but is ink thick and would require a lot of psi in order to fire it at the distances it does in game(marie is a charger main, homegirl should be jacked) i assume the weapons have some weight them. I assume they are made of polymer like some irl guns are so still kinda heavy, but not much.
but the main reason i bring this up is because: inktanks by god those things should weigh A LOT. the ink is thicker than water but the ink in splatoon looks thicker than paints irl(which would require even MORE psi too shoot) and they carry these things around on their backs and run around with them like their NOTHING. if you picked up a can of paint you would know it is kinda heavy, and the ink they are shooting is way thicker than any paint we have to day.
point being: inklings who play turf could beat the ass of nearly any human.

Keep thinking back to the lines of Marie just roasting Agent 3 during splatoon 2's storymode- combined with playing an octoling in 3, I like to imagine the new captain left an unfortunate legacy behind
