The Selection x The Sims 4
đ Iâm quite excited to hear that The Selection by Kiera Cass will be on Netflix soon! As I canât contain my excitement, I decided to channel it by making America Singer and Maxon Schreave in The Sims 4.
These are all based on the descriptions of the characters from the books and some face claims or fan suggestions (plus my interpretations).
I used my Sim version of Buckingham Palace as the setting for the photos. (I also noticed that the sketch of Maxon from The Selection wiki had the pilasters from Buckingham Palace, so why not?
America Singer
America has pale skin, "fiery, brilliant red hair, like honey and roses and the sun all together" and blue eyes "like the morning sky."
This Sim version of America is also inspired from Audrey Hollister, the model on the book covers. I think the Sim version came out quite lovely. Any thoughts?
Maxon Schreave
Maxon has short honey-blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. He also has a very muscular build. When America first saw Maxon on TV, she admitted that he was handsome in his own way and in a completely different way from Aspen. She thought that he looks like "summertime... His hair was cropped short and neatly done and his gray suit was perfectly fitted to him... He looked so uptight. His clean hair was too perfect, his tailored suit too crisp. He seemed more like a painting than a person".
This is my visualization of what Maxon would look like. I also put together facial features of Froy Gutierrez, Max Irons, and the unnamed face claim when you google him. (Is it just me or the facial expressions that The Sims do tend to distort their faces?)
In The Sims 4, teenagers donât have that much difference from adults - appearance-wise so I made them as young adults.
Well, what do you guys think? Did I picture them out right? đÂ

This is a very interesting post. I do wonder what the title would be (should Mr. Savile be granted one). There hasnât been any precedent for this.
Iâm quite curious about this (though this is purely fictional or in The Sims). Can anyone share their thoughts? đ
Titles for Mr. Savile
Royal Obsession Podcast
We at RO are beaming with pride (no pun intended) of the upcoming May 18th nuptials between Prince Alexander of Belmont and his fiancĂŠ, Mr. Damian Savile. This is the first same-sex wedding for the Genevrian Royal Family. And while itâs breaking new boundaries, we also have to wonder - what will his title be?
H.R.H. Prince Damian of Genevria - On March 13th, Rothesmont Palace confirmed Mr. Savile will become a âPrince of Genevria by right of his future husband.â Historically, a spouse became a royal (if they werenât one by birth) once a ring was put on it! Royal spouses - often wives - would take the legal name of their spouse. Prince Alexanderâs mother, Theodora, is not officially known as Princess Theodora but Princess Ferdinand. The revision to the Royal Titles & Styles Act extends this to husbands of princesses as well, however, is not automatically given upon marriage. The King now creates new family members a prince or princess in their own right.
A new title - The King may grant the future Prince a title of nobility. This would avoid any confusion in the future: Prince Alexander would be the next Duke of Belmont upon his fatherâs death. As the husband of a royal duke, Damian would also be known as the Duke (Consort) of Belmont. Despite this, Alexander would be referred to by his husbandâs title.
Royal Proclamation - The King could also proclaim how Damian is to be addressed in the Royal Gazette. The Gazette provides information on the comings and goings of all Genevrian royals, and is an indicator to how the press and public refer to certain royals. The King could also revise the Order of Precedence to ensure Damian is treated no less than a prince of the blood by marriage. Though he would still have to bow to his future in-laws, one day they would bow and curtsy to him as the spouse of a royal duke.
Nothing Changes - Though the Palace confirmed Damian would become a Prince of Genevria, itâs also possible he may refuse this altogether. Coming into the royal fold would mean Damian giving up his modelling career. As the couple prepare to move to Maudin Cottage near Belvedere Castle, Prince Alexander is declining offers to shoot for magazines. Becoming a member or the Genevrian Royal Family means sacrificing your private life to perform duties on behalf of The Crown. Damian may not be entirely ready to give all of that up yet.
Regardless of what the future may bring, weâre excited to see the nuptials of this loving couple!

The Royal Romance x The Sims 4 | by The Simquisition
đ Here they are! The gang from âThe Royal Romanceâ (Choices: Stories You Play) in The Sims 4!
Well, they may not be in the best shape (can I say that?) but I guess with a few more tweaks here and there, the resemblance will be there.
Having the color wheel for CAS would be quite helpful here in matching the hair color, clothes, etc. (but alas, there will always be limitations). Looking for the closest hairstyle also took a lot of time for me - even CC shopping.
I havenât completed the books yet (still on Book 2 but Iâm taking my sweet time) but Iâm really growing to love Olivia in the story - I think that she just needs the right people to be her friends. For Hana, hands down sheâd be a great bestie IRL.
Am I the only one here that crosses over characters into different games? đ
Let me know what you think. Any thoughts? Some facial structures that needs some âdraggingâ here and there?

The Sims 4 CAS Suggestions | Choices The Royal Romance?
Iâm trying to maintain some normalcy amidst the outbreak, lock downs, and quarantine here and there (praying for the good health of frontliners) so I decided to spend some of my time playing The Sims 4 - tried building an opera inspired by the Palais Garnier (will post about that soon if I feel like itâs no longer an abomination and do some CAS tinkering.
Iâm that type of Simmer that spends much time on Build/Buy Mode and CAS without actually âplayingâ in Live Mode that much. I also challenge myself from time-to-time in recreating characters from other books, games etc. that I go over (Iâm looking at you Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and most recently - Choices| all personal WIPs).
If you are familiar with the Choices: Stories You Play app then you must be familiar with this character - Prince/King Liam (I might complete the whole gang, but that must be too much wishful thinking).
So, Iâm asking you guys for any suggestions on how I can improve this character. I just canât seem to point a finger at it where the issues are.

Hi! I have an entire royal world in game and youâve inspired me. How do you screenshot? Is it a third party app or within the game? Also, do you actually play or just pose packs? Trying to make sure I can play and document the royals sims without impacting gameplay too much.
Hello!
For the screenshots, I use the in-game Camera to capture. There are a lot of tutorials in YouTube on how to set the cameras. Hereâs a link to one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cvs1xyvjds
For the poses (stills), I download them. (Mostly from @batsfromwesteros, @theroyalsims, @simmerberlin)
For the animations, I just play the game and âwaitâ for the timing. You can also use the Animations Player (Sims4Studio website download)
i hope this helps! :)

S01E04 - Auld Lang Syne
âWith the start of a New Year and a new decade, The Queen hosts a reception at Buckingham Palace in gratitude for the people who are dedicated for the service of the country. Meanwhile, Prince Marcus is feeling tense under the pressure of getting things right and with an old friend coming on board the Prince's Trust.â
Hello, everyone! I have a new episode of the Crown of The Sims, yay! For the fourth episode, I tried to do a mini-machinima and, yes, it was quite challenging. This would be my first and it may not be as refined and perfect, but it works. I hope to get better at it someday.
Let me know what you think and I'd also love to hear your suggestions.
I also featured the newly renovated State Rooms (minus the Picture Gallery and Music Room) in this video. I'm quite proud of the results of the Blue Drawing Room and the White Drawing Room.
I also made a YouTube Channel to host my videos for the future (fingers crossed).

Welcome to Bucksimgham Palace!! A private tour of the state apartments
Welcome to another, undergoing, building project for the Simpire simblr story :)
As I mentioned in the last post, The Imperial family is at Bucksimgham palace, the official residence of Her Highness Dowager Tsarinaâs sister Queen Elisabeth II of United Simgdom, for the birthday celebrations.
This project wouldnât have been possible without the amazing contents of numerous creators, many researches and fotos but ,most importantly, the amazing Buckingham Palace project from @thesimquisition, the inspiration It gave me and the plans he shared (the rooms are almost the same size :) )
Thanks to all!!!Â
Now lets start the tour of my version of this Grand Palace, the closest I could get to reality, hope you enjoy the tour as much as Iâm loving building it :)
Her Majesty, Queen Elisabeth II of United Simgdom Welcomes you into her official residence, the grand Bucksimgham Palace. Since her majesty and her guests are in residence for the birthday celebrations, our tour will be restricted to the state apartments of the Piano Nobile. (the rooms that are finished đ
)
As we pass through the main archway, under the front wing of the palace, we are greeted by the palace Inner courtyard, we can see the West Wing and the entrance portico, part of the oldest section of the palace, from victorian Age.Â
For this special tour you are invited to enter the palace through the portico into the Grand Entrance of the palace, if you may follow me and climb the stepsâŚÂ
Welcome inside the palace Grand Entrance. For centuries architecture has been used as a way to show power, in this case royal power, the intention of the architect when creating this amazing sunken space was to, on one side and as explained by @thesimquisitionâ, give a high ceiling effect but also to create a architectonic narrative, a symbolic promenade.Â
From Darkness to Light⌠as we enter the palace we are greeted by a grand but rather darker space but, as we approach the sovereign (Throne room) the rooms get lighter and lighter⌠The sovereign is the lightâŚ
From this room we can get access to the grand rooms of the ground floor (still in progress) and to the Piano Nobile through the Grand Staircase. But, before we continue to the upper floor, we can visit the Marble Hall⌠Â
This amazing hall, filled with portraits and sculptures from Her majesty collection, gives access to both the state apartments in the ground floor and to some of the guest apartments. At the end of this hall we find the Ambassadorâs Staircase.
As we make our way to the state apartments, we return to the Grand entranceâŚ
âŚwhere we find the foot of the Grand Staircase, if you would like to follow meâŚ
âŚWelcome to the Grand Staircase, this magnificent white and gold room filled with paintings gives access to the state apartments of the palace. From one side we can get access to Throne Room and, through the other, we can get access to the East gallery and the Grand Ballroom.
Please follow me as we continue to climb the stairs into the state apartmentsâŚ
As we get to the top of the Grand staircase, we are greeted by this small room where we can find the statues of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, the royal couple that made Buckingham Palace what it is today, lets continue our tour to theâŚ
Green drawing room. This amazing room in green, white and gold is the first grand room of the state apartments and it distributes the visitor into the Picture Gallery andâŚ
⌠to the next room in our tourâŚ
⌠The throne roomâŚ
This red and gold room is the most symbolic room in the palace and the last in the symbolic power promenade. The interior designed by John Nash, features a plaster frieze showing scenes from the Wars of the Roses.
Today this room is the symbol of the monarchy, many thrones of different monarchs are displayed here, all surrounding the baldacchino with the current monarch, and her consort, thrones.Â
On the left side we can see (my remake of) the portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II with Willow, Vulcan, Candy and Holly commissioned by the Royal Mail Group last 2013. Shall we continue the tour through the next room.
In the main floor, right above the Marble Hall, we can find the Picture Gallery. An amazing and long gallery that connects all the state apartments and displays part of HM collection of 17th century Italian, Dutch and Flemish artistic works. Receptions usually happen in this room as well as smaller banquets.
Now shall we continue to the most famous enfilade of rooms, and the most recognizable in all the palace. The first room we will find is theâŚ
âŚWhite Drawing Room, one of the most famous room of the State apartments.Â
It is usually in this room were the queen greet guests, hosts small gatherings, audiences as well as grand family occasions.Â
Now let us proceed to the next room on our tour.
Now we enter the Music room set of some state occasions, small events, many official portraits, tv appearances of the royal family and photos with foreign heads of state.
Next stop in our tour is (my favorite room of all) the Blue Drawing Room. Named by its decor featuring blue flock wallpaper and columns painted to resemble the onyx stone.
This long and really ornate room became very well known from HM young portraits with HRH Prince Philipe as well as from some state occasions. The next room in our tour, is theâŚ
⌠State Dining Room. This red and gold room is usually reserved for smaller banquets and reception (larger events as well as State Banquets are held in The Grand Ballroom)
Now that we have seen all the grand state apartmentsâŚ
we will continue our way into Bucksimgham Palace grandest room. If you please follow me we will âŚ
⌠pass throw the West gallery, this gallery connects the state apartments with the Grand Ballroom, we will continue our tour and take the door in our left and we will find theâŚ
⌠Cross Gallery, a smaller gallery that connects the West Gallery with the famous and well know East galleryâŚ
This long gallery connects the State apartments, through the Silk Tapestry room and the Picture gallery, and the Grand Staircase with the Grand Ballroom. But just before we enter this great room we will turn left and enter the first door in our Right to discoverâŚ
âŚthe Ball supper room. This room was created by Queen Victoria for, as the name indicates, small banquets before the grandiose balls (after Prince Albert death this events were canceled and the room lost his function). Today it is mainly used as a space for temporary exhibitions. Now lets return into the East gallery to continue our tour.Â
Now we welcome you into theâŚ
âŚGrand ballroom. The largest and most grandiose room in the palace as well as set to grand events.
Presided by two thrones this majestic room receives foreign leaders in extravagant state banquets as well as HM investitures. It is the face of Buckingham in the worldâŚ
In the opposite side of the thrones, a grand pipe organ was built to give music in the grandest occasions. Today the room is getting ready to receive HM Birthday banquet, a special occasion that will be attended by fellow monarchs, family, Nobility and friends (the table is prepared for 84 guests).
Now I Leave you with a exterior picture of the back side of the palace (the almost finished part đ
)
Hope you enjoyed your tour through the state apartments of HM official residence. This will be one of the palaces featuring in the story and another family to be followed (not as much as my beloved Simnov)
Her Majesty and her guests are getting ready for the birthday celebrations, to welcome the rest of the family and fellow royals for the grand banquet. Hope to see you soon :)
Sorry for another very long post but I could not find a way to reduce the number of photos đ
.
Thanks to all the cc creators that made the most amazing content!! to @felixandresimsâ for the always amazing architectonical and decor objects, @harrie-ccâ for building inspiration and re-colors, @thejim07â and @the-regal-simâ for the amazing paintings, sculptures and furniture, and many others that created wonderful objects (sorry if I forgot someone) Thanks also to @thesimquisitionâ for the building inspiration, the most amazing palace plans (from were I could calculate room sizes) and the interiors.
Hope you continue to enjoy the story and the many other building, still WIP, Iâm working on (Sorry if I never show the full building but Iâm always working on so many projects at the same time and the first parts I finished are the ones needed for the Story, in this case the state apartments :), I really have to try to focus and complete the projects!!)
The imperial family is getting ready to great the rest of the family and fellow monarchs!! the Banquet will be soon !!

The White Drawing Room in Buckingham Palace
To kick start the New Year (and decade) I decided to take a look at my old WIPs. I was so inspired by @thesimpireblrâs work that I was so motivated to give my old WIPs another try.
Here you have my personal recreation of the White Drawing Room found in Buckingham Palace - one of the grandest rooms there is. Guests are often presented here to The Queen.
I just love how the CCs make it look beautiful. The ceiling is a bit hard to make, I still have to make adjustments to the lozanges. The pilasters are personal recolors of @felixandresims work and so are the trims. Now, all I lack are the golden curtain accents, accents above the doors (plus the fake door wall decor), and the door frames.
I also wish you all a very Happy New Year! đđ

Hello! Iâve been out for more than a week and wasnât able to check on Tumblr. Itâs been stressful lately but The Sims 4 has been quite helpful in keeping my mind off too much things.
So, here it is! The second episode of my short story series! Your support has been really heartwarming and, again, Iâm so sorry if I havenât been able to reply - - these Builds and Sims are really personal to me. Iâve been working on some CCs lately and once theyâre done Iâll be sharing them to you. Some of the things Iâve been working on are the Portraits (The White Drawing Room Set, The Blue Drawing Room Set, The Green Drawing Room Set, The Marble Hall Set, The Grand Staircase Set, The State Dining Room Set), Carpets, The Guard Post (I donât know if Iâll be able to fully complete it), and The Monogrammed Thrones.
Work has been keeping me from putting more hours on them, but theyâll be ready soon.
Again, many thanks to you all! đđ
