Progress, but not visual

heey everyone, 

over the past 3 days I have been busy, but not busy building. I had focused so much on the village that my progress on the quests was a bit ( actually a lot ) behind. so I spend most of my time doing quests and gathering resources. I did manage to build 2 buildings and I am planning to make a little marketplace. The only thing is that I have never build market stalls, let alone a whole market place. but I am going to do some research and hopefully it will be finished by the end of this week.

An Inn

Heey everyone,

yesterday and today is spend most of the time terraforming the cliff and I am still not done. Most of the time is taken up by gathering the recourses, especially getting all the dirt. So I did not have a lot of time to build any buildings, how ever I managed to build two. 

I build a very large building with a little bridge to connect it to a small building. I think that this maybe can be a inn of some sort, but I am not sure yet. I also build just a medium size house, but I did change up the roof colors so that there is more variety in the the color palettes. I am not sure if I have time this weekend to do any building, but I will try to do my best.

Terraforming?

heey everyone,

today I did something I never really did before, terraforming! I kinda did something before, but mostly just removing a hill or building a hill ( and by hill I mean more like a dirt pile). So to prepare myself to tackle a plan what I have in my mind, I watch a lot and I mean a lot of video’s. Most of them where from Fwhip, because he can explain things really good. After that I just started building and let me tell you, it is going to take a while before I finish the whole entire thing I have planned. 

I think it looks quite good, especially because I have never really done something like this before. I definably can improve a lot, so if someone has any tips or tricks I will be more than happy to hear them.

As you can see I also removed the field and the windmill, I did this because the where standing in the middle of the village. not yet of course, but the where going to when I had build everything. I also filled up the entire lake, beside a small stroke which will be a river. I did this because it was just really weird looking, especially laying next to the other lake that was just left of it. 

Tomorrow I will be making the next part of the cliff and maybe a clocktower, but I am not sure if I will be able to.

More houses

heey everyone,

today I got a lot done, I build three more houses. I am starting to get quicker at building them, because there all are almost the same, with here and there some slight alterations. 

I think that I want to terraform the riverbed next, but I am not sure when I will be able to do that.

It’s all coming together (sort off)

heey everyone,

today I build one of the buildings I had planned out and I think it look really good. The buildings are finally beginning to look like one village, instead of a few buildings dotted around. 

I think I am going to move the windmill and the fields, so that I can make a little harbor. Putting a little harbor there is going to make the village feel much more alive I think. 

Tomorrow I would like to build the remaining 2 buildings that I had planned, so that at least the part that I had planned out on the ground is all build. After that I am not sure what I will do next, but I think it is either going to be moving the windmill and field or terraforming the river bed.

Planning the town

Heey everyone,

Today I finally planed a little bit, I made a beginning of where I want some buildings. I even build one already and I made one pathway from the windmill to the watermill. The plan in my head is much bigger than what I currently have planned out on the ground, but at least it is a start.

The forest on the left side is going to be all buildings and I also want to do a lot of terraforming along side the riverbed. Terraforming is not something I usually do, but I really want to learn at least a little bit, so that I can completely transform my builds. 

I also have a screenshot of the building I build and one of the fields that I forget to take two days ago.

One last thing, I really appreciate that all of you are reading, liking and sharing my posts. I never thought that anyone would ever read them, not to mention, ever liking them. So thank you all!!

fields for days

Heey Everyone, 

today I did not get a much done as I would have liked, but I did finally get opticien and shaders working. unfortunately not for every modpack, but at least the one that I am currently playing.

Yesterday I said that I was going to change the farm land, because I did not like the way it looked and I did change it! Unfortunately I forgot to take a screenshot of it, But I do have some screenshots from the windmill and the house before I put the fields in. So I will show you that instead.

The really look amazing with shaders on and I just can not wait to see how it looks when I build the rest of the village.

An engineers life

Heey Everyone,

I spend both today and yesterday working on setting up my computer. I tried a few mod packs, to see how good my computer will run certain packs. And I am so happy, because every pack I tried, runs so smooth. I did had one hiccup tough and I do not know how to fix it. Everytime I tried running optifine with a mod, it had lag spikes every 5/6 seconds and I can not seem to fix it. The problem is that it doesn’t matter how many mods there are in the pack, as soon as there is one, the lag spikes happen. But except for that problem everything works perfectly. 

I started playing a new modpack called engineers life, by dreams01. I really like it! It is a quest based progression modpack, where you go from the Stone Age to the digital age. It is also still being updated, so more quest and mods are added at least every month. 

I decided that I would like to build a city, that has different district. So one part a the city will be an industrial district with factories and an other while be the farming district, where all the farms and windmills are. I already build a little bit, only the one’s I needed for the different machines. 

I took inspiration from whip, I really love watching his videos and I love his building style. For the factory however, I looked for inspiration on Pinterest. I still want to expend the fields and change them a bit, so that it is more interesting to look at.

I anyone of you have an idea for what I could build next, let me know!

Guess who’s back !!

heey Everone, 

I finally got a new computer !!!! it felt like it was going to take for ever, but it is finally here. I got a pretty decent gaming computer with a pretty good graphics card, so I can finally play with shaders!! I also made sure I bought one that has the possibility to upgrade if I want a better graphics card or ssd. Tonight I am going to mess round a bit a maybe start a new world. I am think of a quest based modpack. So I anyone of you has a suggesting, please let me know!

I will be posting regular again, so make sure you keep an eye out for my next post!

Déjà vu

heey everyone,

so my computer crasht..... again..... I feel like I am repeating myself a lot. I need a new computer, because the one I have right now is too old. But I have a small problem, I do not have the money to buy one right away. it is going to take a while to save the money for the new computer, so I am not going to post as much as I did, or at least not post any Minecraft build’s I made. I wil do my best to post Minecraft related stuff and inspiration pictures and of course I will post updates!

Brand new world (again)

Heey everyone,

So I started a new world, again. It is only like 2 weeks a go that I started the modded world and here I am making a new one. If you are curious why, you should read my last post, it is not really a fun story. 

I spend most of my day making a new mod pack/list for a 1.15 modded world. Some mods crasht, like hwayla and JEI, so unfortunately I can not use those mods right now. For the most part I used the basic ones, that I really like. They mostly are farming/food/world gen mods. Of course I am using biomes o’plenty, I can not imagine playing modded Minecraft without it. If you want a full list of all the mods I am using in this world, just send a message and I will give you the full list. 

When I finally got everything sorted out, I spend most of my playing time getting started and gathering resources. I died a lot and lost my stuff several times, because I have this habit of falling in lava. I really should fix that habit. But when I finally got sort of settled, I made a city lay out. I used concrete powder to section different districts off and it made it really clear where everything should go. 

You can barely see the colors on the picture, but I promise that every district has its own colors. The black dots represent the river that I am planning to make. the middle section is yellow and is going to be the merchant/ market district. I am planning to have here all the shops and market stalls and of course the houses of the merchants. On the bottom is where I want to have the harbor, it is all laid out in lime green. I also have a more expensive discrict (on the top, laid out with pink) and a farmer/worker district (on the middle left, orange). The farm/worker district is going to be all the working careers, like a farmer or lumberjack. 

I really hope that everything I explained makes sense and if it does not please message me, I will be more than happy to answer any questions.

Not so good news

Heey everyone,

Something happend and it is not really good. My computer had some hiccups and my Minecraft crasht and somehow all my worlds are gone. I am so sad and devestated that all my work is just gone and I do not know what to do. I think that I am going to start a new world, but I do not know what I want to do with that world.

heey everyone,

sorry that I did not upload yesterday, I was very busy in the evening and totally forgot. I did do a lot, mostly cleaning up the paths and building some bushes, trees and rocks. I also planned out where I want to have the animal pens and the houses for the people that take care of the animals. unfortunately I did not take a screenshot, but enjoy this gif!!

This weekend I will not be uploading, because I am going to work my garden. I am going to make a herb garden! I hope that I will last longer than the last herb garden I made.

Changes have been made!

Heey everyone,

today I did a little bid more work, I mostly cleaned up everything and made it more detailed. I decided that I did not like the pats that I made and wanted to change that. I am watching a lot of fwhip video’s and took inspiration from his builds. I also made some custom bushes and rocks to make the surroundings more interesting. 

I also changed the wheat fields. I wanted more farm land, but I did not wanted to build one big one. So I made the original one a bit smaller and made a second patch on the left. In the bottom right corner you can see lime concrete powder, I am using that to plan out where I want the next farm patches to go. You can also see some red concrete powder at the top right corner. I am using that to plan out where I want to build the normale houses. 

The changes I made are a real improvement, or at least I think it is. I am still not done at all and want to build so much more, like an animal pen and a blacksmith. I think that tomorrow I will build the parts I al ready planned out and maybe, if I have time, I will build a part of the animal pen’s. But we will see.

Busy bee

heey everyone,

It is almost 1 o’clock and I have done so much all ready. I have made a windmill and a field just like I planned, but I also made a lumberjack house and a mine entrance. It is all connected with a path and a bridge. I think it all looks amazing and fits with my starter base! 

I still have a lot plannend in my head and I need to put the finishing touches on the mine entrance. I also want to build the mine it self and I hope to finish that today! But we will see if I can do that!

Interior done!

Heey everyone,

Today I got a lot done!! finally everything starts to look complete, especially my starter base! I finished the inside and I kind of completed the detailing. The first floor on the outside is done, but I do not know what to do with the second and third floor. If anyone has any ideas, I will be more than happy to hear it!

I absolutely love the inside of this little starter house. It has a complete kitchen from the mod cooking with blockheads, which is my favorite part of this whole house. The house was difficult to decorate, because there was not a big space to work with. For example a sitting area was way to big, so I could not put that in. Despite the lack of room, I think it turned out really good!

while decorating the inside of the house, I made sure there was enough storage. So I put a lot of chest in every little nook and cranny. I also used the terrariums from biomes o’plenty to add some variety, instead of using a flower pot an every blank space there was. 

I am very happy with today, but I am already planning things for tomorrow. I think about maybe building a windmill with a wheat field and maybe some other things, but we will see

Outside done!

Heey everyone,

Today I finished the outside of my starter base!!! It took me almost 2 hours to get the resources, because of the hay, but the build was finished in almost half an hour. I also started a little bit on the inside, but I did not have much time to finish it all. 

I am not so sure how I feel about the inside bit. I think the fireplace looks pretty good, but still not finished, like it is missing something. I also don't no if I am going to keep the fence post wall, but I do not know what else I can put there. 

The outside walls are not completely done as wel, because they still need detailing done. Detailing is unfortunately not my strongest point and I do not know where to begin. I think I will watch some videos for inspiration.

Tomorrow I want to finish the build completely, so detailing and interior done! I hope I will have time tomorrow to do that.
