Blossoming Hope
Aemond Targaryen x Betrothed!Reader Warnings: Angst, Slowburn Words: 1.7k
A/N: This broke my writing hiatus, so here is to more fulfilled requests.
Masterlist / Taglist / Requests: Open
You swallow nervously as you stare at the palace doors. Clutched in your hand, a small locket that contains a tiny portrait of your betrothed. You look again at it studying the delicate features, the only glimpse you have seen of the prince. You rock back and forth on your slippers trying to calm your nerves.
Your attendant, Marguerite, leans over to you, “My lady, please stop fidgeting.”
Her stern voice makes you still. She is always calculating how you appear to the outside world, much to your annoyance. Marguerite insisted as this was her job it did not matter how you felt about her instructions just that you followed them. She is the only personal attendant from your entourage you were allowed to bring until after the wedding in accordance with the peace treaty. You felt it was a silly detail, but the man who had insisted on it said you must focus on learning Westorosi customs before the wedding. And now when he meets you on the palace step that silly detail makes you feel alone.
“Ah Princess, I am glad you arrived safely to Kingslanding. I trust you had a good journey.” His words were spoke sweetly.
A blush of rage burns scarlet across your face but it stays hidden under your veil. Before you is Otto Hightower, the one who had started this whole mess to begin with. He is wearing a deep green that contrasts his golden pin. He was still hand of the king according to his signet, which was amusing to you as there was no king currently. Aemond has yet to be coronated, but the man before you wields immense power.
To your surprise a light voice sounds from your side, “Sovereign, is the correct term, my lord.”
Marguerite has a fierce look in her eyes.
“My apologies, a minor translation error.” Otto insists.
You study the man on the steps then look to the picture resting in your palm. You assume the prince’s long features must come from this man, his grandfather. For a moment you think he may be the only one sent to greet you, but from behind him a large group of servants and nobles emerges. The servants start transporting your belongings inside and the nobles start to come up and meet you one by one.
The first is a woman who curtsies and introduces herself to you. The second that comes to greet you is man who extends his hand in reception towards you. You immediately are taken a back. Luckily Marguerite extends her arm out in front of you.
“My sovereign is not to touch anyone, however I will accept the physically greeting on her behalf.”
The man looks bewildered, but takes her hand and kisses it. He barely fumbles out his name and title in the confusion. You find this happens several more times and it makes you feel embarrassed. You think to yourself that it seems ridiculous none of them bothered to learn a single custom of yours before your arrival.
When the procession of people are done coming to greet you, you finally make it up the steps. Otto Hightower is there. You sigh a mixture of frustration and relief.
“When might I see the prince.” You ask him.
“Soon, there will be an official party in the gardens in about four hours.” He responds, “So that you might have time to prepare.”
He gestures to an attendant who is suppose to show you to your apartments. You follow her forward, the attendant guides you through the palace weaving in and out of hall and up steps. When you arrive, you note that your guards are already stationed outside the room.  You breathe out relief.
“Sovereign.” They greet you both with a bow.
You enter in to your room happy to see it is already decorated with bright blue silks. You did not have familial crests where you came from, but this was the color of the cloth every member of your family wore. There was a bed, two sofas, a table between them and a bedside table. Your trunks where all over the room as servants when in the process of unpacking the last of your things. You turn around the room and a window catches your eye it looks out on to the gardens.
Marguerite smiles, “Are you pleased my lady?”
“Yes, I just I wish that he would meet before the party.” You sigh.
“Everything in its own time, my lady.” She comforts.
When it is time to go to the gathering in the garden you have already watched most of it be set up. You are dressed in a blue gown and have a matching veil covering your face held in place by a golden circlet. Your nerves tingle with excitement as your follow Marguerite down to the gardens. You follow her through the flowers that overhang till you reach a seating area. At the head of everything is a small ornate table with two chairs across from each other. You slide in to one of the chairs and wait. Guest begin to arrive and servers begin to list food and drink selections. A server comes to your side and tell you about the cakes and teas that had been prepared, but you refuse to have anything brought till the prince arrives. Nearly half an hour passes as you wait, you turn to look to Marguerite.
“Will he ever come?” You whisper to her.
She points up and you see him. A tall, slender man saunters to the table. He has a blade at his side and one eye is covered by a patch. His long silvery hair moves behind him in a braid. The movement reminds you of a snake. You move your hand instinctually toward your locket to check the picture, but no this was surely him.
“Sovereign,” He greets you with a bow.
Your heart skips a beat. You lick your lips trying to find the words. You attempt to rise, but he puts out his hand.
“There is no need for that you are to be my queen.” He says.
“Prince Aemond?” The words come out cluttered and short.
He grins, “You’re perceptive, what gave it away?”
“Everything.” You breathe out.
You feel as though the earth is shifting underneath you. He is strikingly beautiful. He tucks himself in to the chair opposite you.
“I have a gift for you.” He says.
He motions for a servant who brings forward a small box wrapped in paper. You guide your fingers through the folds of paper and open the box. Inside is a ring set with one the brightest sapphire you had ever seen. You can not contain yourself as a squeal escapes you. You gently pick up the ring with excitement.
“Marguerite, look, look.” You exclaim.
You draw a few stares from the rest of the crowd in the rest of the garden. She motions with her hand for you to calm down. You slide the ring on to your hand.
Aemond looks quite amused with your reaction, “It was found in the same vein as mine.”
You look to his hand to inspect the matching piece, but find nothing. You look back up to him and as if to answer a coming question he flips up his eye patch. You flinch back expecting to see the empty socket, but instead a huge chunk of sapphire glints back.
“Your highness,” his attendant chastises.
“What, I told you they wouldn’t like it,” He responds.
Before he can say anything else the words fall out of your mouth, “You’re beautiful.”
Aemond snaps his head back around to you.
“I mean your eye is beautiful.” You correct.
The hint of a blush covers his face as he flips his covering back over it.
You go to mutter something about fine craftsmanship but Marguerite stops you by clearing her throat.
“What a great sense of humor the prince has, don’t you agree my lady.” She says.
You nod your head in reply to avoid tripping over more words, but what you had said rang true in your mind. You want to spend hours starring at his face and listening to him speak. Your infatuation grows stronger by the minute.
Your thoughts are cut short when Aemond’s attendant speaks up, “My prince let us accompany our guests through the lovely gardens.”
The words rest in the air for a moment before Aemond draws his eyes away from you.
“Yes, that would be quite lovely.” Aemond muses.
You both rise followed by your attendants. Aemond instinctually offers a hand to guide you.
“I am sorry my prince. I can not touch you. I know the customs are different here, but…” You trail off.
He immediately retracts his hand, “I have forgotten myself; I apologize.”
His words are so smooth and calming you feel like you can not breathe.
“No offense was made.” You reply.
You follow him through the courtyard portion as the crowd parts before him to a nearly vacant section of the garden to a blooming tree with flowers overhanging in to the walk way. Both attendants following mere paces behind. Aemond breathes out a stream of air that jostles the flowers. They are small white bundles at the end of each branch.
“How beautiful,” You gasp.
Of course, you had seen plenty of flowers before, but these were ones from your home and they brought a soft comfort with them.
“Almost as beautiful as me?” The prince jokes, a grin smattered across his face.
You face starts to burn again and you move to change the subject, “How did you get them to grow here?”
“I had the gardeners cross them with another flowering tree that is hardier.” He comments, “A small feat for my future queen.”
You swallow hard, the word hung in your mind. Queen. That was right you were his future queen, but the sensation of it all was so new. You smile to him in response, but say nothing. Your head swirling with emotions, ones you had never considered before. This responsibility to marry Prince Aemond was a duty that you gladly bear for your people; you could not hope for it to be anything more than that. But something was blooming at the back of your mind. Hope.

“Do not say that,” Aemond demands, “Do not say that you care for him when you know inside you love me.”
You can feel Aemond’s gaze boring in to you as you stare at the ground. Watching your slippers peek in and out of your skirts as you rock back and forth.
“I must preform my duty to secure this alliance for my people.” You respond.
He huffs in response, “You will be no more then a second wife, you will hold no power to protect your people. The seven would not even recognize the marriage, but-”
“But with you?” You question lightly.
He reaches out and takes you hand in his, he holds it like it is a delicate petal.
“You would be cherished and you people protected.” He says softly.
You meet him with a look, “What about power?”
“All you could desire,” He says with a grin.
You wanted nothing more than to over thrown the king who was waging war against your country and Aemond was willing to serve you that on a golden platter.

Lover's Betrayal
Aemond Targaryen x TrueBorn!Reader
Warnings: Death, Sadness, Betrayal, Rejection

A/N: This was a request. Hopefully everyone enjoys this comeback piece I am gradually starting to write more as my health improves.

Part 1/?
You pace about your room. The walls feel like they are closing in. You feel as though your executioner is about to walk through the door. Long silvery hair moving behind him in a shimmering light before he makes a point of cutting you down. Aemond was supposed to be securing support from Storm’s End that day. The sky was so dark you could barely call it a day. The clouds brewing a gale so strong even a dragon could be swayed. Part of you hopes that he’ll come back quickly, but another part knows something will go wrong today. You fear he will no longer have a need for you once he gets back. You fear you won’t be of service for the game they are playing and will be tossed aside just like any other broken piece.
You sit down with a piece of parchment and begin to compose a letter. Part of you knows your mother will never get it. The other part hopes that Aemond has the decency to get it to her out of respect for his opponent.
Dear Mother,
By the time you are getting this, I suspect I will have passed on. I have this strong sense of dread that today is the day I lose value as a piece in this game. Please tell everyone that I love them. And please tell Luke I am sorry that I can not fulfill our shared duty, as I will be gone by the time he reaches majority.
Love,
You sign your name to it as you do, Aemond burst through the door, he is soaked head to toe in water. His mouth is collapsed in to a frown. You get to your feet, ready to put up a fight. You knew he would be swift about it, out of his love for you. However, you were still not prepared for your death.
“Is it that time already?” You ask, melancholy drips from your voice.
Aemond remains silent as he moves towards you. A sudden fear that they may have someone else carry out the ordeal frighten you. You know Aemond would be quick and precise. You stumble back on to the bed out of terror as he comes closer. The agony of being dragged to your death building up in your brain when suddenly he wraps you up in his arms. The dampness from his skin soaks in to your dress. You try to expand your chest, but find it stifled by Aemond.
“I’d rather you not crush me to death.” You squeak.
He sobs in to your shoulder, “Lucerys is gone.”
You attempt to break out of the forced embrace. When he finally lets you go, you look to his face. It is riddled with guilt. You can feel the heat creeping up your face, a burning anger that threatens to consume you.
You claw at his face as you shout, “It was you, you killed him!”
You hit his chest with the side of your fist, then again and again. A broken rhythm of hits against him. Your moment of anger breaks in to a soft, brokenness. Tears well up in your eyes and cascade down your face.
“There is nothing that can be done about it, but your position here is now secured.” He lamely attempts to comfort you.
You collapse against him as your fury dissolves into exhaustion.
“He was my betrothed, and you killed him.” You cry.

A/N: This is a small drabble for today while I do work. Hopefully it is enjoyable and understandable bc I wrote it at like 2am. Have fun reading and don't forget to check out the new masterlist and drop a request.
Sequel: The Next Morning
Masterlist / Taglist / Requests: Open
You sit in your bed trying to go to sleep. You heave restlessly to one side and then the other. Your eyes hurt staring at the lit candles on your bedside table as they flicker and wain. You yawn and your eyes begin to water from your lack of sleep.
You find your legs pulling you out of bed towards Aemond’s bedroom door. You hit the door with your palms, barely awake. The wood feels cracked and splintered, but you would gladly break it down with your bare fists if you had to.
“Aemond.” You call out, “Aemond.”
You yawn again and go to hit the door again, but it opens and you tumble forward. You find yourself caught in Aemond’s arms. You look at him and smiles tiredly.
“Gods, do you wish to wake the whole castle?” He demands.
“No,” You laugh, “Just you.”
He sticks his head out his door and looks both way before pulling you in to his chambers. You nuzzle your face against his bare torso. He holds you away from him like a wet kitten.
“You cannot keep doing this.” He reprimands.
“But we are betrothed.” You whine.
You paw his chest with your hand absentmindedly. Tangling your fingers in some of the straight silver hair that pours from his head. You twist your fingers in it so as to let the low light from the window make it appear to glow.
“Yes, and if the powers that be found out you try to climb in to my bed nightly, they would break our betrothal.” He insists.
“Or, they would hurry it along.” You retort.
You twist another section of his hair around your finger and smile sleepily.
“I want to marry you.” You confess, drowsiness haunting your voice.
Aemond can’t help but laugh, “Yes, I am aware. This is the third time you have said that this week.”
You throw you arms around his neck and look up soaking in his gaze. He studies your face in return, noting how soft it is.
“That is because it is true.” You mumble.
He smiles at you and then scoops you up.
You fall into a fit of giggles, “Aemond, put me down.”
He lays you down on his bed and tucks all manner of pillows behind you. You melt into the pillows every worries you have ever had fleeing your body in an instant.
“Are you comfortable my love?” He asks.
You nod. Your face breaks into a smile and giggles start to bubble out of you again.
“Shh, shh” Aemond says, “You’re going to wake the entire castle.”
Aemond opens the chest at the foot of his bed and pulls out blankets and pillows. He begins laying them down in to a pallet on the ground next to the bed.
“Noooo,” You groan, “Aemond, come lay with me.”
You out stretch your hand so that it hangs off the bed. When he lays down, he grips it softly and then kiss the back of it.
“I will, every chance I get,” Aemond says, “Just not till we are married.”

Paint Your Love
Xavier Thorpe x Reader Warnings: None Word: 505
Note: A little drabble about another volunteer day.
You sit down at the table and look to principal Weems as she flips through the list of assignments. She looks to the groups gathered. You lean over to your roommate Yoko.
“Do we usually get the assignment we volunteered for?”
Yoko nods her head, “Sometime we get put on extra committees too.”
Weems claps her hand together, pulling Yoko and you right out of your conversation.
“Alright now, if everyone is quite finished talking, we can go over assignments for this weekend’s Volunteer Day.” She starts.
She dredges through the list till she comes to a pause, “And this year the mural committee will be (Y/N) and Xavier Thorpe.”
You smile, excited that your talents will be put to use this year. Xavier immediately does not want to.
“I am not planning out a mural again” Xavier protests.
Weems curls her lips in a displeased smile, “If there is a problem with your assignment, please feel free to speak with me about it afterwards.”
You hold back your disappointment. You were really looking forward to making something fun with Xavier. Ever since you had met him on the first day, you wanted to get to know him more.
He stands up and throws his seat back. You follow him with your eyes as he storms out. After all the assignments are given, you ask Yoko where he went. She directs you to his studio.
You are fuming by the time that you get across campus. Your skin is crawling with anger, and you can’t get past it. You knock on the door, short, rapid knocks. Xavier opens the door a little surprised to see you.
“What is it?” He asks coolly.
“What is your damage?” You confront him, “Do you really not want to work with me that badly?”
He scrunches up his nose. You want it to fuel your anger, but instead you feel it start to dissipate. He almost looks cute, you think.
“I’m sorry,” He says, “Do we have a problem I am unaware of?”
 Your mouth drops open.
“Yeah, we do!” You shout, “That little stunt you pulled at the meeting today. You humiliated me. If you didn’t want to work with me on the stupid mural, you could have just said so afterwards.”
He has the gall to laugh, “It isn’t about you, trust me.”
You can feel a throaty growl climbing its way from your throat. Your canines lengthening. Xavier notices.
He rests both his hand on your shoulders, “(Y/N), breathe. Focus in on my voice.”
You try to push down your wolf, but it claws at you to be let out.
“I can’t, it is too much,” You cry.
Then something changes, a cooling sensation moves across your face and everything calms. You realize the sensation is actually Xavier, who has pressed his lips to yours. You kiss him back and then pull away.
“I guess the mural thing really wasn’t because you hated me.” You laugh
“Of course not.” He shakes his head with a smile.

Confessions
Aemond Targaryen x Reader
Warning: Canon Divergence, Maybe Spoilers
Word Count: >500
Masterlist / Taglist / Requests: Open
A/N: Just a little drabble to help me get back in to writing for HOTD.
“Haven’t you ever thought about running away from it all.” Aemond muses.
You turn to him, a laugh prickles at your lips, you try to hold it back. But it burst forth like a bubbling spring.
“I am sorry, my prince, I do not mean to laugh.” You interrupt your giggles briefly, “When have you ever truly thought that. You are such an honor bound man.”
Aemond’s eye scratches quizzically across your appearance. He notes the way your eyes crinkle at the edges when you laugh. They have always given your face a look of wisdom. He also notes that the thought hadn’t crossed his mind until you had control over High Tide.
“When you became indisposed, and I no longer had a companion.” He remarks.
Your laughter comes to a halt, “My prince, you can’t just say things like that. They carry meaning, as I am sure you will know.”
You look up at him, and it becomes clear that he is cataloging your appearance in his mind. Storing it away, so he can think of you fondly. His eye traces over your lips. He swallows. Leaving something unsaid. When you brush over his appearance it is not unwelcomed, but your prying eyes seem to make him shy. He turns slightly away from you.
“My dear companion, may I sit with you?” He asks.
It is not completely unlike him, but the manner in which he does it make the moment feel fragile. You breathe comes hot and heavy over your lips.
Tumbling forwards bits of an answer till it all come out with a rush, “Of course, my prince, but a seat next to me is not fit now that you are in line for the succession.”
He graces the other end of the couch you recline on, crossing his feet.
“My brother no longer has any children to speak of, gods rest their souls, and our wretched sister's bloodline has been wiped out.” He says, “But, I am not king yet.”
You tilt your head to the side, watching the light play on his silvery blonde hair.
“Would you like to be king, my prince.” You ask.
He shrugs, “I would rather be a loyal husband.”
“What do you mean?” You interject, a bit startled.
He smiles. It is unusually soft, opposed to his normal sly grins.
“If it means I can be with you. I would give anything in this life and the next.” He says in earnest.
You are taken aback by the sudden confession. You rack your brain, going over every interaction you have had with Aemond. All the moments that felt like you were the only one who loved him. The only one who truly saw him for what he was.
You draw in a sharp breath.
“Gods don’t be so dense my lady,” He laughs, “I love you.”

Once in a Blue Moon
College AU! Tyler Galpin x GN!Reader Warnings: Fluff Words: 1.2k
AU Summary: In this world Nevermore is a prestigious university that only outcasts can get in to. Tyler goes to school online, but after the events of last semester finds that he may have a place their soon.
Tyler sits at his desk. Pecking at the keys of his laptop like that will get him anywhere. The muted clacks that sound from his keyboard don’t seem to reach his ears at all. His eyes wander to his phone. He grabs it and the screen springs to life. He pulls his jaw to the side and smooths his tongue over his teeth. He notes that he still has two hours till work. He huffs. The air he breathes out is strained. He can feel the Hyde itching at him, begging to be let out. He wants to give in, but something catches his attention.
He can feel the shift in himself, boredom to intrigue to panic. A huge mess of white streaks across the yard. Then again. A flash of white. Then a high-pitched whine. The Hyde scratches at the base of Tyler’s brain, like it wants to keep him safe from what is downstairs. Tyler doesn’t listen, he follows his interest this time. Besides, if it was dangerous, he could just transform, he thinks.
Tyler toes his was down the stairs are then makes his way to the door. He looks through the glass, and he can see the distorted figure of an animal. He pulls open the door softly and see the white mass. Now that he is closer, he can tell the bottom half of the creature is soaked in mud. It throws itself against the trash can. The trash cascades down on to the lawn. Tyler barges outside the safety of the house.
“Hey,” He shouts, “Stop that.”
He gets the creature's attention. It snarls at him and goes back to trying to rip open a bag. Tyler can feel the scratch again, it feels like the Hyde is inching its way to the front of his brain. He ignores it. He gets closer.
“Hey! I said, stop it!” He yells.
The creature lowers itself and tenses its muscles. It lunges at Tyler and knocks him back. The wet grass tickles at the back of his neck, the dampness absorbing in to his shirt. The creature growls and bares its teeth. Warm air from its shout pushes on to Tyler’s chilled face. The Hyde can’t take it anymore. Tyler can feel it rip itself out of him. His face twisting and his bones snapping. The muddy creature rears back and slips on the slick grass. It falls back and lets out a broken yelp. Some part of Tyler hears it, and he reins the Hyde back in. Stuff it down as far as he can till, he can only feel its incessant scratch in his feet.
The creature tries to scramble away, but Tyler reflexively grabs hold of its tail. It screeches as its bones snap and twist. Something that Tyler hadn’t though of yet tickles at the back of his brain. Werewolf. The creature slowly transforms back in to a human. Tyler hears his dad’s truck grumbles down the road in the distance.
He knows no matter what he does that he won’t come out of this unscathed if his dad see this. The now human creature shakes, eyes wide with fears. Tyler takes off his flannel and throws it over the creature. He tries to pick up them up, but finds them surprisingly heavy. He wraps the shirt around them the best he can then half drags, half carries them inside and upstairs to his room. Tyler places them in the shower as they shake violently. They don’t attempt to move, they just stare.
“Tyler? What’s with the mess in the yard?” His dad calls out, “And in the house?”
“My friend came over to study.” Tyler replies, “… Then fell…taking out the trash…”
Sheriff Galpin’s heavy boots slap against the stairs.
“And where is that friend now, Tyler?” He questions.
“In the shower.” Tyler responds a little too quick.
“The shower isn’t running.” He says flatly.
Tyler pulls a strained smile, “I have to show them how to turn it out, different controls here.”
He peeks into his bathroom and adjusts the temperature.
“See, all good.”
“Well, I want to meet this ‘friend’ once they are done,” he states, “And Tyler, clean up the mess downstairs.”
“Got it dad.” Tyler can feel his irritation trigger his Hyde. The scratching feeling starts up again, bubbling up his legs. He tries his best to push it down. Right now, it was not the time to let it overtake him, even if he wanted desperately to.
He pops back in to the bathroom. They are shielding themselves from the water that is pelting down from the shower head. Tyler opens the glass door to the shower and flips off the water. The mud swirls and settles near the drain. They are still impossibly dirty.
Tyler sighs, “God, have you never taken a shower before.”
They let out a soft, stressed whine.
Tyler grimaces to show his discomfort, “Maybe not in a very long time.”
He grabs a wash cloth from the cabinet and turns the water on just a little bit. Tyler pours some soap in to the wash cloth and hands it to them. To his surprise, they accept it.
“Now clean up with this and the water, okay, I’ll be back with some clothes.” Tyler guides.
Tyler leaves to riffle through his closet. Everything is essentially the same, T-shirt, flannel, and jeans. There were a few odds in ends, but Tyler grabs what he knows. A light brown shirt, a white flannel with brown and red patterning, and some jeans. It dawns on him that the jeans aren’t needed, so he opts for pajama pants with a tie instead. Tyler takes his clothes and goes in to the bathroom.
“Hey, are you done? I got you some clo-.” Tyler cuts himself short.
The smell was overpowering, the whole bathroom smelled like wet dog. He was realized before, he was so confused by their reaction to the water, he didn’t even take note of the smell.
“Are you clean yet?” Tyler asks.
He peaks his head in the shower. They are dripping wet, but not dripping mud anymore.
“That works.” Tyler says, “Let’s get you a towel and dry you off.”
“Clean. Done.” They repeat them to Tyler, with a pitch and infliction so similar it sounds like he is hearing a distortion of his own voice.
“Okay,” Tyler pauses, “That’s kind of weird, but I’ll take it.”
He hands them a towel. It is plush and dry, and they rub their face against it. As they dry off, Tyler notices something that he hadn’t before, their ears hadn’t gone back to being human. They were still wolf ears, just in the position that human ears should be. He reaches out to touch them, part of him thinks of them as unreal, even after all he is witnessed. They pull back immediately and growl. The familiar scratching feeling runs up Tyler’s leg and in to his torso. He pushes it down again.
“Okay, I think you’ll need a hat for those.” He says.
They step out of the shower and take the clothes Tyler offered.
As they put them on, Tyler asks, “So do you have a name or something.”
“Name.” They repeat back to him, it sounds almost like an echo.
“Yeah, do you have one?” He questions.
“Have one.” They say back.
It clicks, “You can only repeat what you hear?”
“Repeat.” Their voice comes out near exact as Tyler’s

A Moment's Silence
College AU! Xavier Thorpe x GN!Reader
Warnings: Fluff
Words: 126
"Do you ever wonder what it's like?" You ask.
Xavier looks at you, his eyes soft. He interlaces his fingers with yours.
"To be kissed." You finish your question.
Xavier hesitates for a moment. His warm breath washes across your face.
"Would you like to know?" He inquires.
The question simmers in the silence. You meet his gaze and give a slight nod. He leans in even closer. His lips brush yours lightly, as though you may break. A feeling stirs in the pit of your stomach. You press in to the kiss, it pushes him back a little. He moves his lips deeper to bring the force to an equilibrium.
You pull back, "Xavier."
"Does that answer your question?" He says with a slight smile.

Something New
College AU! Xavier Thorpe x GN!Reader
Warnings: S.A. , Violence, Injury, Forced Vampirism
Word Count: 350+
Summary: When Rowan pushes things too far with his partner Xavier shows up to offer a light in the darkness.
"Rowan." You breathe, "You know we're not allowed to drink from other students."
Rowan smiles, "Promise I won't tell a soul."
He takes a puff of his inhaler and tilts his neck to the side. Exposing his jugular. You are trying your best to hold back.
"I appreciate the offer, but I can't accept." You say.
He pouts, "I thought you might say that."
He grabs the back of your neck with his mind. You can feel the heavy, invisible weight pushing your head to meet his neck and prying open your mouth.
"Rowan, please stop." You wince, "You're hurting me."
"Just a little closer." He says.
You're just an inch from his neck when he wraps his hand around the back of your neck and brings you in. You can feel him manipulating your jaws to close around his throat.
When your fangs break his skin, his blood comes pouring into your mouth. It is bitter and sour, like it's gone bad.
He moans, and you can feel his telekinesis let up on your body. You pull back, tears in your eyes.
You slap him across the face. He turns to you, outraged, and throws you across the room. You hit the wooden paneling of the room, sending splinters everywhere. A chunk of wood lodged itself in your forearm. At first, you can't feel anything, then it erupts into a fiery pain. The skin burns and cracks around it. You scream in pain.
At that moment, Xavier walks in to the shared dorm. He seems like a ray of hope. You reach out and grasp that hope for dear life.
"Xavier, please," You beg, "Please save me."
"Rowan, what the hell is wrong with you?!" He shouts.
Rowan, lets you go. You feel like you can breathe without the weight of his mind pressing against you. Xavier helps you to your feet.
"Come on, let's get you to the infirmary." He says.
You look up to him, hopefully. He may be the start of something new.

“I’ve always hated the expression ‘write what you know,’ it’s a hall pass for the imagination-impaired, but when your life becomes a twisted mystery… maybe it’s time to lean into it.”

"Didn't you love me?" Your words fall out.
Aemond looks to you then to Aegon. Aegon is scowling at Aemond. Then it makes your blood boil. You do something you have never done before, you pull rank.
"Aemond, as your queen, I demand you tell me the truth."
This gets both their attention. Aemond is taken aback, but Aegon is delighted with your power play. Aemond says nothing.
"Do not make me wait." You snark.
Aemond is getting irritated, "I have made no attempt to waist your time."
The crack in the facade makes you want to push further till it breaks. You want the lie to crumble to dust, revealing some kind of truth...

"Does your god breathe life in to you like I do?"
Your breathe falters at his word. It waivers inside like a dying fire. At the edge of your thoughts you can feel an impurity consuming everything.
Aemond smiles, it is cruel and devilish. But, something about it pulls you in. It feels tantalizing to be in his presence, like he is just about do something calculated to ruin you.
You chew on the corner of your lip. Biting in to the flesh of it so hard you draw blood. It is strange to feel the liquid run down your mouth. At first you think you may be drooling from the anticipation. But, when you go to wipe it away, the back of your hand stains red.
"Fuck."
You whisper it softly, like a prayer god is not meant to hear. Like it is too little of an issue for such a profound outsideness to deal with. When the back of Aemond's hand rests against your cheek it becomes apparent to you that some gods do answer prayers.
He says nothing but instead reaches for the deep green cloth from his suit pocket. He presses it to your mouth to soak up the blood. When he dabs it away it is like he is taking something else with him.
"There."
His word alone brings comfort. He tucks the cloth back to his suit pocket. The light grey above the pocket is engulfed as fresh blood soaks it. You let out a small gasp. You look from the spot to Aemond's face.
"Your suit?"
You question his actions, but he does not lash out. He is so human yet the peace he brings you feels holy. He smiles gently now, but there is a strength behind it.
"I have hundreds more."
Aemond's face is full of a soft pride. You reach out to touch that pride. You want it to consume you. You want to experience it without remorse to a god.
Your finger tips play along his face. Each time the heat they pick up feels like a fire storm, but you keep going back to it. The sensation plays close to eating your flesh.
"Can you feel my holy fire?"
A slight laugh of intrigue rests upon his question. His question pulls you back to reality. You don't know how to answer him. Where to meet his quips and when to pull back. The issue being you do not want to pull back. You want to fully fall in to him. You want to trust him completely.
"Do you need me to consume you in it?"
His question falls to you like it came from the heavens. You want to give in to it. Your face is alight with passion. It feels like your two souls are intertwining.
"Completely."
Your answer brings him in closer. He is now only an inch away from you. His firey breath licking stripes of heat across your lips.
You realize he is waiting for permission, again. It feels strange for something so powerful to ask for it. You give a slight nod.
Only after that does he fulfill his promise to save you from the cold darkness. His lips are soft and strong when they brush against yours. Muscles moving a plushness against you. He suddenly pulls back. You look to him in desperation.
"I don't think I can hold back anymore."
His word greets you like a friend that you once loved.
"Then don't."
You are surprised by your words, but even more so by his response. He crashes in to you and that is when you feel it. Hot and burning, his breathe feels like it is sucking your own from you.
"What, what is that?"
You ask to be met with a reply.
"My fire."
The movement resumes and then trailing along your bottom lip is Aemond's tongue. As it does it is followed by a similar feeling. Then you realize, his tongue is forked. A thought flashes through your head as it enters your mouth.
"I want to feel this everywhere."
He pulls back when he feels your hesitation.
"What is it?"
He asks, you meet him with an answer that has been plaguing you all night.
"I can't decide if you're a god or the devil."
He sighs as he holds the back of your neck.
"I can be both if that is what you need."
Your eyes light up and he plunges in for a sharp kiss on your neck. You feel complete.

"Septa" Aemond breathes, "teach me what you know."
His whispers falls upon your ears like a prayer that begs for absolution. Your lips part, wet with anticipation.
"The seven guide my every move, my prince" You reply.
Aemond shivers at the response, as if he had experienced a pleasant shock.
"Which aspect should guide you closer to me?" He questions openly.
His eye has a twinkle behind it. Before you can answer he meets his own query.
"Perhaps the Warrior as my love can be a battle." He smiles slyly, "I will fight for your attention every waking moment and slay anyone who interferes."
You raise an eyebrow.
"Even my gods?" You ask.
"I would kill a thousand gods if it meant I could have you worship me." He responds.
His words draw you in. A heat creeps up your face. It should be anger or embarrassment, but it is desire. Which in turn makes you frustrated. You know you should not feel this way but you are only human. It was as though the Smith had sent Aemond to heal you. To meld back the pieces of you that you could not.
It is only now that you realize there is mere moments away from your souls colliding. His lips barely apart from your own. His breathe warms your face as he breaks his silence to ask a question.
"Well, Septa, are you prepared to worship me?"
