The thing is, if Buddie does go Canon, and do end up married, I can absolutely imagine the proposal being from Eddie, in a moment of domesticity like this. Just watching the love of his life being an amazing father to his son, joking around and having fun, and his heart just swells so big until he can't handle it anymore. The thought, the love, the need, of spending the rest of his life with Buck just gets so big like a balloon and the words just slip out of his mouth. He doesn't even realize that his inside words became outside ones. Not until both Chris and Buck whip around to stare at him, identical looks of awe and excitement. It's been a few minutes, Buck hasn't said anything, Chris shoves him to try to restart his brain. And it works, Buck is stammering out a yes, yes, yes absolutely yes, and Chris is pushing his dad again this time to make him get up and go kiss his other dad.

And just like that, Buddie is engaged. 🎉
