crying over little astarion

tiny, his hair full of fluffy clouds and stars like his name, his pointy ears making him resemble a kitten, his round eyes full of wonder and a color less violent and burdened than red. undoubtedly very bright and soft because if he has managed to be so clever and loving after two centuries of agony, he had to have been born with such beauty.

he had to have been so loved. someone's "little star". someone put such affection in his name and someone's star was so young when he disappeared and never came back.

someone's star still lives in a man who has lived a life intent on making that little star die.

Imagination is my Roman Empire, like what do you mean the characters in my head aren't real? What do you mean I can see them, hear them, know so much about them and their behavior and their story but they're not real? What do you mean if I don't tell their stories they will die with me and no one will ever know them? What do you mean the emotions they cause exist only in me and affect no one else and exist nowhere else? What do you mean their only home is me and it's on me to give them life outside of me?

I love the camp gossip but do wish companions would interact with each other more... so I'm gonna draw it!!! I think Karlach and Astarion gotta have the most contrasts between their characters but one bit I like especially is touch starved vs touched out.

the pretend plot of bg3: you've gotta get these tadpoles out and stop a giant floating brain with delusions of grandeur

the real plot of bg3: in order to date us (the party) you must defeat our seven evil exes: a half-demon warlock patron, the literal goddess of magic, a vampiric lord, an insane cult leader , an archdemon, the goddess of darkness, and finally, the Trauma

i just KNOW jason is a yearner, a hopeless romantic despite all hardships, an angry crier, a guy who would NOT get over a break up easily. if he was in a relationship with the right person and he trusted them and felt domestic joy and peace with them he would absolutely be destroyed if they broke up. both the batfam and the criminals would notice a change. it seems likely that he would be angrier and more violent than usual but i think it would be the opposite. if he was hurting enough, i think he would be quieter, more withdrawn, brooding if you wanted to take it lightly. he's always cared, he's cared SO much, that's one of his strongest traits and if he let himself care and be cared for enough for it to become a serious thing and it fell apart?? devastated. he would be devastated.
