Therapy was rough on me today. We spent time exploring and discussing some things from my childhood and I expressed how I recognize (and reason for seeking therapy) that my internal voice is so unkind to myself. I cried a lot today. She mentioned that she can tell how being emotional makes me uncomfortable and that it’s obvious that at some point someone made me feel like it wasn’t okay to be emotional. That really struck me. Made me cry more. Anyway, I guess therapy is good right?
