i was already going to be so (ง •̀_•́)ง about porter rejecting gorgug’s application but then the talk made me realize like i see his point

gorgug has always been trying to make himself smaller, to reject his rage. although his parents obviously adore him and are wonderfully supportive, they don’t understand being a barbarian. i think it was something vaguely talked about during sophomore year with how Other gorgug felt and how he was trying to suppress his anger because he was just always so aware of how destructive it can be. and then he ran from it again by multiclassing into artificer

porter is trying to make gorgug realize that his skill in being a barbarian is only naturally, but gorgug hasn’t really put in the work to really see it as a useful part of him beyond just in battle. i really saw that porter does care about what a barbarian means when he said he was a little heartbroken that gorgug was multiclassing. because it shows that gorgug doesn’t care, not really.
