Melody blinked. "You want a potion that didn't work right? Adults are weird, but I can probably remake the recipe." The catgirl finishes writing her notes. "Each batch makes 3 potions, but I gave you all three since you're a big magic man.

"As for payment... Do you wanna help me test my potions and things? I promise to only bring the ones I'm almost certain won't explode."

Cronus will breathe out very slowly through his nose; the exhalation emerging in a plume of sulfurous smoke which quickly vanishes.

With a sigh, he takes the potion, pours it into a glass, considers a moment, then tops it with a miniature umbrella. More to buy himself time than anything else.

"I could give you a horse made of moonlight. Your Soulmate's name marked on a map to their front door. A castle of glass."

He crosses his arms, drumming his pinkie against the side of the glass.

"This better not give me bosoms."

And with that, he downs the potion.

"Don't think so, but yeah! That's me!" Melody bounced a bit as Cronus remembered her. "How's the bowl been working? Has it exploded? I can give you back the silvers if it has."

As Melody says this, Cronus' skin begins prickling. As if every hair on his body began to stand on end. And it was... Incredibly itchy. Starting by his face. It felt incredibly furry, as if he hadn't shaved in a while... And his face felt... Longer? His hands began growing fur as his fingers shortened and his nails got sharp.

Every bone in his body began shifting around. His stance soon becoming unstable, and he was soon brought to a kneel. His attire no longer fitting properly and began to shed from him. While feeling no physical pain, mentally new heightened senses, and the pungent aroma from his various perfumes would burn his nose.

Cronus is now a large dire wolf.

Melody was furiously jotting down the transformation, but looking sad. "Damn... The book said you'd be a kitty... Did I add too much rosemary? Was it the cherry flavoring? Would you be willing to try again to test?"

As tempting as all those options would be to a normal person, Melody is afraid of horses, would rather find a soulmate a more fun way when she was old enough to care about that, and knew a castle of glass wouldn't last long in her hands.

"Nah. I just want to test a potion, but nobody wanted to help. Something about not wanting to explode."

As Cronus downs the potion, one thing was immediately apparent. The child managed to actually make it cherry flavored. Delightfully so, actually. It was almost on par with the ambrosia Loki had once given him, but not actively tearing him apart.

This piece started as a brush test, but then I refined it for anatomy practice. Then I thought "What if I made this a monochromatic piece?" And added shading. Then I thought to play with the lighting a bit, and wondered what was out the window. Then I added more colors and lighting until I had to put the pen down so I can do other things.

All this to say, enjoy the view of both out the window, and Witch's bare booty.
