Laurel: If you could write the books, what changes would you make?

Oh boy, this is kinda long hahaha…sorry

Liontuft: is too scared of his power and the chances of hurting someone he cares for, so he runs away from it by becoming a medicine cat. During his apprenticeship, he accidentally kills another apprentice from another clan and this is what triggers him to become a medicine cat. 

Jaystar/flight: (obviously named after squirrelflight because in this (au?) she’s the one to encourage him the most idk) becomes an amazing warrior despite not having his sight. He’s extremely respected in the clan and he climbs his way up the rank until he becomes the leader. He changes his own destiny. (which I think it’s a better concept than just following what everyone tells you to do)

Crowshade? Crowclaw?:  (since leafpool in the og books wanted to name hollyleaf after crowfeather.) Is the main villain of this series. She is filled with ambition to become the leader of thunderclan. She trains with Tigerstar and Hawfrost (since Liontfut runs away to become a medicine cat) and is manipulated by them. She becomes envious that she isn’t one of the three, and idk Tigerstar tells her it’s starclan’s fault (and she is more worthy of it, which also causes her to continue to train in the darkforest) And when she finds out that she is a forbidden romance child.. well things escalate.  

I like to think that Crowshade could’ve killed Brambleclaw so that she could become deputy but that place was given to jayflight. (which makes her more envious)

mfw i remember starclan cats usually appear & stay as “when they were at their happiest” in life & while whitestorm is a younger cat in all his starclan appearances, yellowfang is still the old, tangled and grumpy cat she was when firepaw found her in into the wild & how she was throughout her time in thunderclan bc she was the happiest as their medicine cat, with fireheart & cinderpelt

You draw white swirled patterns and tortie patterns so well! Do you have any tips for making such nice patterns?

Torties:

1. Choose the base color of the cat (I recommend the one you want to be more prominent)

2. On a clipping layer (all art programs have them), add the other color of ur tortie. The sploches will look better if they are connected to lineart or if theyre small, but theres always exceptions.

3. On another clipping layer, add the stripes in a darker color. Dont worry about not matching the other spot (aka drawing a dark blue to match the blue or an orange to match the yellow), we’ll fix that later. There are various types of stripes, but the “prettiest” tend to be from mackarel and clouded tabbies.

4. Hide the stripes layer for a bit. Now, you’re going to select the color that doesnt match the stripes (yellow, in the exemples case)

5. Still selected, lock the layer, so you can only draw over what was already put (aka the stripes). With that, we can change the color of the stripes on the selected area to match the area’s color

6. You obtained a torbie!

fkdlds not to be gay not to be weird but i ABSOLUTELY believe and headcanon that the warriors clans have “marriage” ceremonies or at the very least romantic bonding/celebrating that some cats are mates w/ each other….they have kitty religions and all that so why not marriage ceremonies c’mon

ANYWAYS i def would believe that it wouldnt be like, anything super similar to a human marriage ceremony - two cats tell their leader “HEY we’re mates and we want to celebrate it w/ the clan” and the leader would basically be like the officiator what have you

IDK it’d probably be like, consisted of gay ass flower crowns and the clans having a big ole party where everyone is just fawning over some newly paired cats and its just a big ole party in the clan for the time being
