this is hilarious.

Lived there, went to school there, still have friends there; no Sharia Law, just the largest concentration of Arabs outside of the Middle East.  Great people, great food, and many opporunities to have new experiences.

I can't believe it! After years of deliberation between UM-Dearborn, it's students and even between the City of Dearborn..we finally have on-campus dorms. This is a great milestone that the University reached. I was able to take a look around and snapped some pics. The main lobby is really big, there's a nice workout space (only for dorm students) and many conference rooms too!

Shatila's funeral is 11 a.m. today at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, followed by a 1 p.m. burial.

Very sad day in Dearborn. May he rest in peace.

Good Burger on Ford Rd (near Wyoming) is simply the best. Cheap, quick, clean and tasty!

Orville Hubbard, mayor of Dearborn, may have been known locally for ensuring punctual trash collection and speedy snow removal, but the city  was famous nationally (and locally) for its racial segregation. For most of his 36 years as mayor he was known as the most outspoken segregationist north of the Mason-Dixon line, 1953.
