Upon first seeing the big red dog Madoka was rather frightened. What would happen if the big dog woke up and saw her there. The girl’s first reaction was to run, and fast.

But hold on a second. What was the dog curled up around? It was a different color, and had high contrast to the red fur that covered the body of the dog. Madoka hoped the dog hadn’t got a hold of some smaller animal.

 The small mound of black fur seemed to move a little bit among the dark red fur surrounding it. Of course, all it did at first was seem to curl up more and nestle into the red fur. It seemed rather comfortable, if anything.

It was the wolf, however, that stirred, a single ear flickering in the air, before its tail twitched in its place, and yellow iris seemed to show through a barely open lid. Silently, its gaze roamed up to Madoka's face, before there was a small huff, and a protective adjustment of its body language, as if shielding the smaller creature from any possible harmful intention. Both eyes were open now, though no move against Madoka was made. It was simply waiting and watching to see what her intentions were, both ears perked up by now.

If it wasn't obvious, by now, what the mound of black fur seemed to be, there was another small movement, before in the silence of the moment, a small mew could be heard. A kitten.

Mami crossed to the room, and ruffled her beloved familiar head. A small giggle escaping her lips. Childish, was the word Mami would use to describe the actions of Kyouko. If not for her age, she would have too. But like most, she did not take well to being called a child. So out of the kindness, the witch refrained from such descriptions. 

                  “Though I do have to agree with you, it just doesn’t taste the same…                            But you are quite the picky eater to anything butsweets.”

The blonde giggled once again, and turned to pinch the red head. It was not like the one you would receive from an aunt, or a doting grandmother, but more teasing. 

Kyouko's ears laid back as Mami ruffled her hair. An action she was much less receptive to when they first partnered up, but no longer something that bothered Kyouko anymore. Quickly, her ears picked back up with a single twitch, before she huffed at the comments the young witch felt need to make. 

"I've got standards when it comes ta what I eat, is all. Besides, my stomach's pickier than I am. Something tells me if I had more of a choice I wouldn't care much. But that radiated food is about the only thing I just couldn't stand." She gave a harmless growl at the pinch, not a threatening one by any means whatsoever. 

"And to be quite fair, I do hold yer baking and cooking in much higher regard. Ya don't half-ass, it shows quite nicely."

"Hehe..." Sweet talking a girl was certainly not something Kyouko knew how to do intentionally, but she was glad that Mami was happy about what she said. She titled her head to the side, and then grinned with another wag of her tail.

"Hey, if it was, then it's a good fate, right? Mami-san's really nice too. I'd definitely hope we could stick 'round each other more even after this. I wouldn't mind seein' ya a lot more. Hell, I like the company. Company is a li'l more sparse than I care ta put up with."

     "Goodness… you certainly know how to sweet talk a girl." Mami notes with a bashful laugh. Not much of a joke though, considering all the bold compliments Kyouko is throwing her way. At this rate, she really was going to get more attached than she should…

      Regardless, the blonde allows the lightest of nods, smile not once leaving her lips. “I think that sounds wonderful though. Sakura-san is… very kind. I’d almost believe that us running into one another was fate, really.”
