As a romance author, which is your favorite genre to combine that with? And why?

Any genres you'd like to try adding romance to but haven't?

I'm so sorry it took me so long to get to answering this!

I LOVE sci-fi and fantasy combined with romance and that's what I will always write (despite the little voice in my head telling me it would be easier to just write contemporary from coms).

I love to explore all the possible sub-genres! I wanna write space opera and steampunk, high fantasy and urban fantasy and faes and EVERYTHING that counts as sci-fi and fantasy!

OMG this one his hard, but I'll try.

Self-worth issues: most of my characters have to realize their own worth throughout the story

Love doesn't fix your problems but it gives you the strength to fix them yourself - that's it, that's what my stories are about and always will be

Supportive characters - I don't like my heroes to exist in a vacuum, they are always surrounded by people that support them and that they care about

Lovers coming from different backgrounds - I have yet to find true enemies to lovers but my MCs always come from the opposite end of a scale

Dreams and nightmares - meaningful (prophetic?) dreams or nightmares occur in all my works. I don't have a rational reason for that, maybe it's my own messy relationship with sleep 😄

WIP name: Foreigner God

She lets out a laugh that is simultaneously light and fresh like spring rain and harsh and cracking like a call of a crow.

He grabs his ankle to stop him but it’s too late. As his skin makes contact with the green stone the central light flashes so bright it blinds Thiery entirely.

He's never seen anything like that. The sea is coming up like a gigantic limb made of water. With a horrifying ease, it swipes the monks off the cliff, leaving only streams of water running over the ground.

Thiery is sleeping with his back to him. Yarren takes a moment to trace the scars on his back with his fingers. King’s bastard. Lord governor. The god of water. Right here Thiery is none of those. He’s just Yarren’s lover and that’s what matters. But it won’t last long. They still have to face Lothir and the Darkness and for that, they will both have to assume their roles.

WIP: Foreigner God

Red The wound itself has been stitched and is scabbed over but the surrounding skin is angry red.

Orange “Look, if we don’t succeed, we can still bring something tasty for dinner!” Yarren says when he sees the bright mushrooms on a fallen tree. Their warm yellow and orange color makes it look like the old trunk is on fire.

Yellow She’s wearing a bright yellow robe of a foreign cut adorned by copper embellishments. In combination with her deep brown skin she gives an impression of something burning hot.

Green He has to occupy himself so he doesn’t stare at Thiery leisurely splayed on the green bed or he would get inappropriate ideas.

Blue Yarren has no idea what he’s talking about, he doesn’t care, he’s looking at Thiery’s lips softening into a smile, at his hair that turns dark blue where it catches light, at his eyes - one blue like the sky and the other white like morning mist.

Violet She turns at him in a flutter of violet silk and black hair. "What? Me?"
