And he definitely makes it known, he complains to everyone about it, but that doesn't change a damn thing
@witchy-weve-monbebe okay but imagine a what if scenario where Frank, Joey, Peter and Sammy (I lowkey forgot what their actual names are 💀) escape and take Abigail with them
Frank 100% hated the fact that there was no money involved. That they all got screwed with and fuck it if he isn’t gonna stick it to Lazar and just take his kid. What does it matter at this point? (Let’s ignore that Lambert was there and called Lazar back)
Joey just wants to protect the girl despite her being a vampire and also because it’s another excuse to avoid going back to her son (not because she wants to but it’s like in the movie: she’s afraid she’s gonna be a shit mom)
Sammy of course joins for the ride just to see how it would play out and convinces Peter to join her in watching it all fall apart
Abigail is definitely an unwilling participant in terms to being a “hostage” but her attempts at killing them lower in intensity the more she spends time with them
(Also I think it’s be lowkey funny that Frank is the only one to really have beef with a 12 year old the more time they all spend together)

And he scolds her, not for anything else, but for taking his favorite earrings, and everyone else tells him not to be so hard on her because she's just a kid and he gets so pissed for that specifically to be their comment.
Sammy: "She's just a kid! I did all kinds of stupid shit when I was a kid."
Frank: "Yeah I'm sure she did stupid shit as a kid too but she's a fucking centuries old vampire that's fucked with me one too many times."
And even with all of that, no one stops either party from continuing to irritate each other, they just laugh more (and occasionally Sammy suggests different earrings for Abigail to give to Frank and buys them)

Finding out that Dan Stevens was also Lancelot in the third Night at the Mueseum explains a lot... I had a huge crush on him after that movie but it did not occur to me that that was the same person as in Abigail 💀
Still don't know what's happening though because isn't my usual type-

She goes to Hot Topic and gets some little bat earrings, spider earrings, dagger earrings, and those ones that are just vampire fangs and decides to give them to him as a "gift" which leads to them all exchanging gifts ("It's just for fun," she says when they ask. "Just a token of appreciation.") and everyone getting things that they actually like and cute little homemade gifts until it gets to Frank. He opens the box, closes it again, and immediately gets up to have a go at Abigail again while everyone else looks on in pure confusion as he swears and threatens her over a seemingly innocent gift.
Eventually, everyone else would also figure out that she's been messing with his jewelry, swapping his earrings, occasionally even just blatantly stealing them for herself (which Sammy finds out one day when Abigail goes to her and asks how to clean earrings well and Sammy asks her why that would be necessary before Abigail confesses—quite happily with a look of pride—that she stole Frank's earrings for herself but she doesn't want *gestures vaguely down the hall toward his room* THAT on the earrings when she wears them) and parading around with them on to see if he notices.
