#lil random update cause this is like my personal public diary #one of my lil cousins friends almost od’ed here #my youngest cousin found her blue and passed out in the snow #we went to grab her and papa (he’s a big can corso/pitbull mix) attacked her…. #i was the only adult at the house at the time and i literally could not get the dog off of her it was genuinely terrifying #i thought i was going to watch her get mauled alive #he let go eventually tho! and she’s….i guess okay #she came back over for the first time since it happened #and she was high again… #AND SHE WAS LAUGHING ABOUT IT HAPPENING #me her and my youngest cousin were talking about it and i was literally shaking remembering it and shes LAUGHING #MY COUSIN FOUND YOU DIEING IN THE SNOW AND I ALMOST WATCHED YOU GET TORN APART AND YOU THINK ITS FUCKING FUNNY????????? #papa has attacked like 7 people before this incident (some of them bitten multiple times on different occasions) #so he was put down recently #its weird cause ive always called him a big ol lover boy #when i first moved in i used to wake up with him cuddled up on the bed with me #and then seeing him like That #ive seen him bite other people #but this was different #i have never felt more…useless? in my entire life #everyone just left her down there like #i dont even like their little friend and im terrible in situations like this but i had to try to help cause i was the Only one down there #to even Try to help #like im glad they all ran #theyre my cousins and theyre all like 17 i dont want them to get hurt #but like fuck i really thought she was going to die down there cause i couldnt fuckin do anything #new trauma unlocked yay! :) #boo.txt

i hate the sand

#went camping with sone family #at a beach #and it rained almost the whole time we were there #my uncle was pissing me off ive never wanted to punch someone so bad in my whole life #where we set up the tide got too high after like a week there #rose and soake our campsite #clothes and tent wet #my shoes almost floated away #then they got the pop out stuck in the sand #my cousin was in a horrible mood the whole time #the dogs were being unruly the whole time nearly knocked over the tent the first night #and the rest of my cousins didnt show up #and on top of that my uncle fucked up our firework show after i tried to help multiple times…..at least we caught some fish tho 🙄😂 #boo.txt #family gatherings are always a disaster 🤦🏾

hey idk how new u are to knitting but

try just getting a rlly good grasp in the stitches, like find a project thats simple and repetitive just to have then nailed

if u want to make beanies, or like, any similar clothing type stuff, try to learn double pointed needles soon. they seem rlly hard but if u find a good video (theres a bunch on youtube, look for the old lady ones) u can get the hang of it and honestly thats like,, one id the hardest hurdles lol

also for yarn, personally id recommend finding some thinner condensed yarn rather than the kind that is kinda loose, i think it makes the stitches easier but yeah

for patterns, ravelry is rlly great. start w some rlly easy stuff before going for a beanie or smth. beanies aren’t terrible but its fun to make little soft toys and stuff

im not anything Close to an expert on this, but i do know how to knit and this is what id want to know. yeah have fun w the knitting tho!

im still really new, taught myself how to cast on and do the basic knitting and ive been practicing that by just knitting like a scarf to get the motion down better but i cant keep my rows very even (this is my second “scarf” lmao) some rows are looser and some tighter. but now that you mention it, i dont have the best yarn to knit with, its not very condensed lat all, v v easy to untwist it so thats probably not helping with my lil issue lol

but thank you so so much for all the advice, literally going to screen shot this and save this for future reference ☺️
