How is your doggo doing recently?

she is very old and still a nervous wreck lol

her wretched old organs can't deal with almost any foreign substances anymore, which is especially cool now that she once again needs some surgery but cannot tolerate anti-inflammatory pain medication at all so her post-operative pain relief is either basically nothing or, like, fentanyl. looking forward to that

#love her and will do my best to keep her comfy but yeah #loved that convo with our vet re: pain relief #'yeah we can give her a fentanyl patch after surgery but if she licks it she will die so keep an eye on her' #cool cool cool cool cool cool

the whole "sexual themes" community label is pretty much useless to me since actual sex is still not allowed according to the community guidelines as well as the help article regarding mature/nsfw content

but regardless, even if the porn ban was lifted today i would not repost any old stuff, simply because it is old as balls and i do not want to look at it

lol yes i have done like idk 3000 hours of botw and totk combined, it’s ridiculous

also played the link’s awakening remake through once, and tried skyward sword on switch but i can’t get used to the controls so i haven’t finished it

Have you watched Hazbin Hotel yet?

oh yeah, kinda super hate the art style (too reminiscent of the kind of shit i was trying to be into when i was 14 years old so i can’t help but cringe at it) but love the animation and love love LOVE the music so i’ll keep watching

#i watched the pilot back in the day and didn't like it at all #bc the art was not for me and the setting relies on christian mythology and i am not about that shit #started seeing the show on my dash in january and decided to give it a shot anyway bc it's not like i was doing anything else #it was okay #the story is still pretty meh for me bc of the christianity thing and angel is the only character i like but eh #i love how unabashedly stage show the songs are #i am a musical gay so that is the shit i am all about

not because i don’t want to, not really, it’s mostly just that 1) i find it difficult to draw at all and 2) i’m just generally out of practice at telling anyone how i’m doing or what i’m thinking, so writing a diary entry of any kind has become an insurmountable hurdle

i keep meaning to start journaling privately, just to overcome this, but i’m honestly in such a shitty place mentally that forcing the amorphous tangle of angst embedded into every crevice of my brain into something that is at all describable with words feels impossible

#i am not well #have been like super mega unwell for the past five-ish years and it ain’t getting better #went to see a psych nurse last week after a long while and she made me write down reasons to stay alive for #and the only thing i could come up with was my sense of obligation towards my dog #so that’s where i’m at #like as a person
