Monday
Had a really good visit with J last night. We exchanged the gifts we got each other for Christmas. ย One of the highlights was when the chair she was sitting on at the kitchen table just broke out of nowhere and her ass went crashing down onto the floor. She wasn't hurt. We were both laughing and stunned. ย Oh, well. Old chairs break. ::giggling::

Seen This
On another platform, someone accused someone else of something awful, falsely, and now they are experiencing resistance and floundering. Trying to turn themselves into the victim. Real (internet) life is what happens outside of your personal echo chambers and group chats. You can't expect the same insulation everywhere, all the time. So when you say or accuse something and there is blowback, it's just something you have to learn to navigate.

Not Resolutions
No resolutions this year, but some goals. In my mind, these are two separate things. Less pressure on myself to just call them goals. I want to go to museums more, orchestral concerts, do art, things to feed a starved part of me that isn't satisfied with other things. Supporting local artists is a huge bonus to this.
