Hiya, I’m Xen, I’m 29 and go by she/her. I’m currently on my Bad Batch hyperfixation, greatest show ever as far as I’m concerned 🧡Tech, my love 🧡This is my multi fandom blog however so I also post for that. Mostly ❤️Cayde-6 ❤️ and 💚Wrench 💚 Also 💀Ghost/Soap 🧼
Please feel free to use! I don't know how people like their meme templates sorry, but the Tech pictures are quite high res if you open in new tab on pc. Credit is not mandatory, but highly appreciated (tbh I'm more interested to see if how other people use this, so please tag me so I can see! 😊)
Fandom: The Bad Batch
Rating: General Audiences
Word Count: 1107
Summary: Omega has a nosebleed her first day in space--her first nosebleed ever--and the guys try to help her out.
I’m still convinced Tech’s alive and will remain so. Though I eagerly await the finale to see how it plays out.
I really feel like cx-2 will be a part of the final episode. A reveal is also highly likely imo. Once the batch gets into Tantiss, Hemlock could send him out again. And if it’s Tech, a fight could ensue resulting in his identity being shown and the batch might try to get him to come to his senses, but there’s no time and conflicting thoughts in his head lead him to just up and disappear from everyone. That could add up with the bitter sweet ending we’re hearing about… 🤷♀️
I’m also leaning on the possibility of another clone show, perhaps based around Rex and Co. if Cx-2 is Tech he could have an arc, the conditioning is showing further signs of wearing away maybe because of his deviant nature. The conditioning worked for a time, but without upkeep, and with the confrontation with his brothers still on his mind, the hold Hemlock had just falls away into confusion. Maybe a bad batch cameo? And they can be reunited? Perhaps Rex and the others help?
I know with how little time we have left, and with the future still for the most part unknown, it’s easy to give up, and I understand for those that have. 100%. I just can’t. I have this nagging feeling that won’t leave me alone.
I’ve had it before and it came through for me in the end. For the most part so… I suppose we shall see.
OK wait. Hold the fucking phone for a minute. I think I'm on to something here.
Omega has reached a new level of badass since returning to Tantis. From the moment she entered the vault she's been cool, calm, and confident.
This is the face of a girl with a plan, and with absolute faith in her brothers.
We've all been assuming that faith is in Hunter, Crosshair and Wrecker. But what if it's faith in someone else, too?
And hey, come to think of it, remember how we all thought it was weird that one episode ended with Omega alone with CX-2, then the next opened with him handing her over to Hemlock? Remember how rushed and unnatural it felt to have our protagonist alone for hours with the mystery villain and not to get to see a single second of it?
And OH MY GOD look at this fleeting expression the moment CX-2 bends to undo her cuffs, before she quickly averts her gaze.
Now let's go over her dialogue with the kids again:
"Want to know a secret? I escaped from this mountain before"
"Really?"
"How?"
"I had training. And I wasn't alone. Know what else? I'm doing it again. And I'm taking you all with me."
What if Omega told us a lot more than we realize? She has a secret. She knows she's not alone.
Caught up now, watched both 13 and 14 and… two things…
1.) How the fuck was everything right side up and the batch and Rampart were standing on the floor of the ship while they were docked to the science vessel upside down while going through hyperspace??? 🤔 Their collective asses should’ve been on the ceiling 😂🤣 Does the ship have its own gravity?
2.) Echo in Stormtrooper gear kinda freaks me out because if the batch ends up getting in a fire fight with other troopers and Echo’s on his way to group back with them… if they don’t eventually break radio silence so he can tell them what he’s wearing now, I don’t want the others getting confused in the heat of a battle and shooting Echo. Thank god they use stun rounds but still…
Also Hemlock is definitely gonna send cx-2 out for the last episode. They’ve been saving him for the finale I feel it. It makes the most sense.
The big confrontation. The big reveal. It all comes to a head. I’d bet money on it.
She is a lovely character!! Initially, I was perhaps a bit hesitant, simply because I was caught off by/didn’t know what to think about her first reaction to meeting the batch and curious on how things were going to play out.
But watching how she interacted with them going forward, I quickly warmed up to her as the batch did. I genuinely do enjoy whenever she appears, wish she could have had more screen time/moments we saw her speaking with Tech.
Although, I don’t believe he’s dead so… here’s to hoping we can see them reunite as well 🙏🏻
edit: AND I MEAN A GOOD REUNION… WITH EVERYONE!! 😭🙏🏻
I do not know the meaning of the words giving up lol Not until all is said and done, there’s still a chance and I’m all in full speed ahead captain!!
Coming Full Circle
There is a LOT of giving up going on around here! 🤨
"There are only two episodes to go."
"There's not enough time to get Tech back."
"We aren't going to find out who CX-2 is this late in the show."
Whoa! Just whoa.
Put on the brakes, peeps! There's so much of the full-circle storytelling technique going on in this series that there is NO reason to be giving up yet. There are a few parallels happening that are giving me hope that I want to share with you. I hope they help with your anxiety over what's coming in the next couple of weeks the way they have helped me with mine:
"The Cavalry Has Arrived" is the title of the final episode and also the very first words uttered by a Batcher in The Clone Wars. They came to the rescue then, and they are doing it now.
In that Clone Wars story arc, the Batch teamed up with Rex and other clones on a mission to infiltrate an enemy installation. They're doing that again. We know the Batch is on their way to Tantiss and we know from trailers that Rex will be there too.
They went into their Clone Wars mission with a specific task to accomplish, and in the course of that mission discovered that someone presumed dead was alive and being made to aid the enemy. It was Echo in The Clone Wars, and it could easily be Tech now.
The Clone Wars arc was four episodes long. Reports are saying that the final episode will be roughly triple the length of a single episode like "Aftermath" was to begin the series. That means that we have as much content still ahead of us to end the series as the entire Anaxes/Skako Minor/Echo rescue arc in The Clone Wars. They made a LOT happen in that story arc, and it looks like that's how much time we have coming up. A lot can still happen.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. I've had a lot of fun on this roller coaster ride through the galaxy with you all and our favorite defective clones. May the Force be with us as it wraps up! 🧡
You know I love Quicksilver Storm so much, it’s beautiful and crazy fun… but playing Onslaught has reminded me of why Tommy’s Matchbook, honestly, is still my favorite auto rifle. It was the first exotic I ever acquired when I first joined D2 during the season it was released, and I had such a blast with it.
That thing is so fucking badass. It melts your enemies while quite literally melting you! It takes no sides and gives no shits! Going up against 8 to 10 ogres on a half a quarter health bar because your weapon is straight up frying you Kentucky style is such a rush, I love it!! 😂
Oh I absolutely see it. When they all walked off the Marauder in s7 of TCW I saw it. His helmet is so unique and I love it so much, always being able to see his beautiful eyes 🧡🧡
i like tech’s helmet because when he wears it . puppy
