It's time for rambling about nothing because I can never just stay on topic with shit so if you wanna read me ramble about Laughing Jack and Jill and my own version of them. HERE YOU GO! Enjoy Im gonna try and draw now and not rip my fucking brain out mummy style out of frustration.

Ive always had mixed opinions on Jill just because of WHY she was made. Like her whole thing of being made as a joke to poke fun people making OCs who were just [NAME] The killer. Was kinda Ick. Didn't care for it then don't care for it now. But the implications of another mf like Jack existing brings up implications of him not just being a one of a kind being and the potential for SO MUCH SHIT that could have been explored in cannon. But OH WELL!

the shit I have with Toyfolk may be a concept I use for original shit but because I made Toyfolk and the world they come from I can't see Jack or Jill existing in my universe of characters and shit and NOT being Toyfolk which DOES take away from big parts of their cannon that most people remove anyway (like how LJ in cannon eats fuckin children)

But yeah like Ragz isn't just LJ they're kinda just Ragz. They're a rewrite of Jill just as much as Jack I'd say. They present feminine more often than not. I have them go by Jackie because it's relatively gender neutral. But also because having them at some point going by Jill would be kinda fucked up of them I feel considering everything with Wilson. (That's a whole other post in itself)

I see people reblog my art of Ragz and ive noticed if they're wearing pants it's Laughing Jack if they're wearing a Skirt or dress then it's tagged as BOTH Laughing Jack and Laughing Jill. Which is interesting! I've noticed most Laughing Jill art is also tagged as Laughing Jack and I kinda get why but also like damn.

Alex Kage was a character I made when I was like 14 and reworking her for PM Now Is so fun because half of me is still trying to keep that same "wtf this is ridiculous" energy she had back then. She was very much an unintentional selfinsert back in those days but not anymore. Her story was pretty basic back then.

she thought she was human and wasn't. She got to a point where her nonhuman abilities started to develop (because monster puberty I guess) she accidentally kills a man, freaks out and runs away in fear of getting caught and runs into the besties OC who brings her to the mansion and that's how shit started back then.

Her story was very much not really all that important or focused on despite her being the MAIN FUCKING CHARACTER.

So now I'm here like "how can I rewrite this in a way that teenage me would love it and I still have fun and it makes sense?" And what I have come up with is still a fucking mess but a mess that makes sense and I think very much fits the vibes I'm going for.

For y'all who don't know a little ✨Lore✨ for you.

Before This Blog I had an ask blog called ProxyMorns (I have sense remade it) same characters as I've shown on this blog except for Ragz.

On that blog I had a different version of LJ who eventually I made a separate ask blog for to better develop him, his backstory, and Isaac.

Because his story took place from 1950 to the early 1980s I figured the blog was an easy way to sorta tell that story more in-depth than I could have in the comic. however, I got a few years in and both LJ and Isaac were so far from the originals and just completely unrecognizable to the point it felt weird to consider them rewrites, I decided to make them OCs and part of an original story along with a bunch of other toyfolk old and new and the beings that made them and the whole world they live in.

One of the Toyfolk on that Blog was Leslie who was originally made to be a one off character to show how fucked up Toyland actually was, however I ended up giving them a reason to WHY they were the way they were and well reoccurring OC. Mf HATED that Ragdoll understandably but there were a select few who actually liked them. Which was funny to see. I never got to a point of actually explaining why Leslie was so fuckin toxic but that's the Lore for you. The blog isn't up anymore (I locked it actually) because after making it an original thing I made a new blog for it and have only really been posting concept art there and not much of it at all.

But yeah Ragz exist because I had to replace the original LJ I had made for PM because I had decided to make the Hippy clown an OC. (So glad I did)

I knew I still wanted my LJ to be Wildly different from the cannon and Ragz for sure is but also they are still recognizable (at least visually though a lot of people do either call them Jill or LJ depend on how they're dressed. They really are more of a mix of the two.)

I genuinely did not expect to see Leslie's name pop up ANYWHERE out side of DMs with friends and the blog I have not updated in AGES!

Also to find out now that multiple people liked them from the like 2 occasions I showed of them being a COMPLETE ASSHOLE is HILARIOUS!

Leslie very much is still around and a Fave Toyfolk of mine whos more involved in the "Buds In Toyland" story now. They already had quite a bit of development back then but they've actually gotten a lot more. They are really nothing but an asshole in the years that BiT takes place but as far as PM (modern day) they've gotten a lot of character growth and are VASTLY different.

This is a confession and an apology from 11 year old me.

Sorry to the lord, society and most importantly @xxsweetoothxx (I have no idea what you did with Leslie but I'm pretty sure they're yours.)

the funniest dynamc between my boyfriend and i is the chef/baker divide runs so deep. experimentally my boyfriend is a genius with figuring out what flavor profiles will not just taste good together but also will be enjoyed by the specific audience he is cooking for. a recipe is not a guidebook so much as a suggestion and he will frankenstein ideas together to get exactly what he wants to happen. he also didnt know that sugar will not work properly if you dont mix it with the wet ingredients in banana bread and when i asked 'why didnt you do it in the order of the recipe' he said 'i didnt really think it mattered'. autistically i exploded his head in my mind

Laugh my ass off when ever I remember that LJ originally was gonna be called "The Rake" and looked like a straight up off brand Ryuk form Death note but then was changed to Laughing Jack because There was already a creepy pasta called The Rake. Fuckin hilarious kills me every time.
