it seems like a lot of people treat the polls like they were asking "should she transition" and that's really annoying to me. these characters are transitioning anyway. it's only asking if it would save her (and honestly for most of these characters transitioning would not fix their problems. i dont think estrogen would prevent a zombie outbreak. maybe it should though)

Saving doesn't necessarily need to be saving from material conditions, it could also be an emotional saving. If I may borrow your zombie outbreak example, let's say that there exists a terminally depressed zombie apocalypse survivor named Boyd Mulder. Obviously, if Boyd Mulder stumbled across a VHS instructional video on how to brew estrogen at home, this obviously wouldn't end zombie-itis. However, if Mulder knew that she could make a better life for herself, maybe she'd fight just a little harder to pursue that life. Maybe she'd reach out to more survivors to acquire the resources she needs. Maybe she'd develop a series of larger goals to work towards beyond just finding food to eat and a place to sleep. A couple years in, she may have even made a proper life for herself beyond just survival-- something she didn't even have before the outbreak.

Is that not in its own way salvation?

That's how I understand it, anyway.

I Have Found A Solution!

So, obviously classic wizard robes aren’t wheelchair friendly. (Alright, admittedly this isn’t common knowledge and also this definitely isn’t a problem for most but listen, this is a problem for me and I’m pleased to present a solution for it nonetheless.)

The issue is in the sleeves and the length of the robes. The traditional trumpet style allows them to get snagged, dirty, and caught in the wheels.

This is distinctly not an issue with other mobility aids such as canes and crutches, these wizards are fine to carry on with their trumpet sleeves simply rolled up if needed.

Now, one solution might simply to shorten the sleeves and hem to be out of the way, but that looks rather silly so I won’t do that. Instead I propose the more elegant design of a hanging sleeve to maintain that flowy magical feel while allowing for better range of motion.

Honestly I just love the look of hanging sleeves in general and think more people should appreciate them, wheelchair user or not.

Please go watch Sex Explained on Netflix. Not only is it a great resource for the basic sex education that is sorely lacking in the U.S., but some of ya’ll need to take a deep breath and remember the difference between fantasy vs reality. This purity culture thing that we’re going through right now is directly harmful to responsible, healthy sexual expression. BTW this woman, Lisa Diamond, is a noted psychologist and has been pushing for greater understanding of womens sexuality as a whole.
