TL;DR: I guess this isn't me entering but coming home to my ✨soft girl✨ era.

In my twenties, I've come to embrace femininity and softness. There was a time when I wanted to be perceived as someone fierce and nonchalant, which I found myself expressing through fashion as a means of expression. There was this fear that if I presented myself as someone soft and dainty, then it would be a license for people to take advantage of me and my kindness. I realized that bad people will always choose to treat you badly regardless of what you wear and that fashion should always be an extension of your genuine self.

I had an epiphany a while back as I was window-shopping for decorations and furniture for my ongoing room makeover project. I've realized that not everyone has ill intent toward me and that strength and softness can coexist within me at the same time. With that in mind, I know my heart - I'm a soft and compassionate person. I've also always loved dainty things! I love spring, flowers, dresses, pink, pearls, frills, ribbons, love letters, scrapbooking, fluff, and wicker baskets!

Honestly I know April will be my month because I can feel the hope of spring in the air & physical journaling is making a comeback for me & I’m studying the thing that I love & I have a kind therapist who seems truly attuned to my specific needs and background & I don’t take people’s vitriol personally & I have a solid core unit of friends & I hit the gym and move my body & I take my multivitamins & I stick to my calendar religiously & I take hikes & bike through nature regularly & I try to tap into my likes and wants and who I really am as much as I can despite what people have to say about that & I don’t let people’s naysaying stop me

UPDATE: I WENT ON A SPONTANEOUS TRIP TO THE THEME PARK WITH MY COUSIN AND NIECE. I FELT LIKE A KID AGAIN! I HAD SO MUCH FUN!
