i started reading an article and the writing style at first was so strange and fragmented that I thought the whole thing would be awful... The guy writing this paper must have known that the points he was making were so good that he could afford to fumble a good introduction and abstract. Every line of this article is a useful and relevant quote for my essay... Its a hit after hit analysis and critique of a book, and its shockingly impactful

academic grind day 3 - my essay actually really is coming along now, and im determined to have 2 fully complete and ready to hand in by tomorrow.
I went home for food and a nap a few hours ago, but im back in the library, and ready to hammer away at this essay until its done. My other plan for tonight is to collect my readings and hopefully complete my readings for the second assessment. Hopefully I'll be able to get all that done tonight - I'm feeling good about that goal currently!

day 2 of my academic grind! I'm still really happy with the amount of work I managed to get done last night, and my plan for tonight is still to hopefully complete one of my essays. I think I'm in a good position to do that, or at least get a good chunk of it done, but here's to hoping! I've just finished reading two more articles, I've only got one or two more that I'd like to read, then I'll get onto the actual tasks for tonight which are:
review assessment brief
write out plan
write the essay!

ive got through 9 articles (with notes and everything), which honestly is a lot. I'm happy with that, now its time to have a nap before actually getting to writing out this essay in full!
back on the academic grind now that I'm back at uni again. Sadly as soon as I got back I got a cold which hasn't been fun, but I'm feeling focused right now (at 22:15...) so I'm going to see how many academic articles I can get through tonight. I absolutely love being at university and studying my degree, but I will admit that I'm ready for a little break now.
Currently I'm sat with a lavender candle and a mug of chamomile tea, ready to: make lecture notes, do my seminar prep, and read a chapter of my book that I need to read for my assessment. Once I've done all that, I'll head to sleep for a few hours before going to my class.
Despite having such a genuinely shocking sleep schedule (its 03:56am currenlty), I really do believe in the importance of at least making significant effort to attend all of my classes and making detailed, attentive notes in them... but alas. I really am ready for a little break now.
