After fighting Gaea, Greek and Roman demigods practically became one big/chaotic family

From that new found partnership, an exchange program between camps Half Blood and Jupiter was created

Demigods from both camps could spend short periods of time at each other’s place, learning new skills and such

You were absolutely thrilled to participate. You loved your Greek ancestry and all but you already knew everything about it. It was time to learn everything you could about Rome and it’s rich history

Arriving on camp grounds, a guy named Frank Zhang showed you around. Apparently he was a praetor, which you thought was kind of intimidating, but the guy was so sweet and easy going that before you knew it y’all were chatting like good ol’ friends 🤝

He helped you settle into your room before sending you off to meet the other praetor, a girl about your age

She was supposed to inform you of your duties and schedule you’d be following on camp, so you made your way to the Senate House where Frank told you she’d be

As you entered the big, elegant construction, you searched for her, not having any success after investigating the main room

Well, you could sit around and wait for her… or you could snoop around a little 😋

The place was so beautiful and so full of ancient artifacts that you couldn’t help but open every single door you found 🤩

As you entered yet another corridor, you suddenly heard voice

It sounded like someone… No- a few people were arguing

As you got closer, you heard whispering, accompanied by a voice that sounded louder than the others

You walked towards the door where the noise was coming from, catching the end of a very concerning conversation

“…traitor” the whispers said

Your eyes widened

“Stop. I didn’t- it wasn’t-“ The louder voice tried

“They’re going to find out about what you did. You’ll be executed” The whispers continued

“No I- Be quiet. Go away” The voice pleaded

“Justice will be made, daughter of Bellona. You will be punished” The whispers taunted

“GO AWAY”

The sudden scream made you lose your balance, your body accidentally pushing the door that separated you and the voices open

You almost fell into the room. As you regained your composure, you saw what looked like… a few ghosts? That vanished into thin air as you stared at them, leaving you alone with a very disturbed girl

“Oh gods, I am so sorry. I was just-“ You started

Before you could finish, your back was harshly pressed against the wall, a cold knife against your throat

“Who are you?” The girl growled

It took a lot of explaining to get your throat out of imminent danger, but after finding out you were one of the Greek demigod exchangees, she quickly let you go, apologizing profusely

You were scared and extremely confused, but you also felt bad for the girl. You had intruded in something that you definitely should not have heard

By the way her pupils were dilated and hands were constantly opening and closing into a fist, it looked like she was trying to ground herself. Failing miserably at it

She asked you how much you heard of what was said in the room

You were scared, but told her the truth regardless

She seemed to be about to have a panic attack so you quickly told her that you weren’t going to tell anyone about what you had witnessed

You told her it didn’t concern you, and you’d respect that. No one would know

She was completely baffled. You were just going to keep her biggest secret- just like that? You didn’t even know her and you were offering to help? Just like that?

She was so used to having her back stabbed, to good things crumbling out of her life (I love Reyna sm omfg she deserves the world ☹️) that this just seemed like a trap

But what choice did she have other than to trust you?

She hesitantly nodded, putting her knife on its sheath

“So, who are you? I mean- what’s your name? And would you by any chance know where I could find a praetor?” You inquired, trying to change the subject

“Yeah, I know where you could find one” the girl said, her features seeming to relax slowly, turning into a small smile

“Oh thank gods, I’ve been exploring- I mean, looking around for quite some time now and-“

You were interrupted by a small laugh coming from the girl, who offered a hand for you to shake

“I’m Reyna, one of camp Jupiter’s praetors”

Well shit

The days that followed were better than you expected. Being at camp Jupiter was a bit tiresome (the place was way stricter than camp half blood) but you were learning so much about ancient Rome while meeting so many nice people that you couldn’t complain

And of course, there was Reyna. You didn’t know if she considered you her friend or if she was only being nice to you so you wouldn’t spill her secret, but you were grateful for her help anyway

If it weren’t for her, you’d be absolutely crushed in combat lessons. You seemed to find the history and strategy behind it way more interesting than actually being in it, which was rather amusing to her

You both started to spend a lot of time together, your shared interest in Rome’s past bringing you closer as the days progressed

You almost lost your shit when she showed you New Rome, your eyes shining as you asked her a million questions per second about the place

To be honest, she found it cute👀👀

You were getting kind of getting attached to her. She even read a few of the fantasy books you brought to camp so you could discuss them together

One time, you took her to play Mario Kart in your room

It ended with you almost DYING from laughing at her while she was defeated, not by you, but by the console itself and the technology that was so foreign to her

She almost killed you when you called her an old woman

After some time, everyone started noticing Reyna seemed… happier. She was less strict and way less stressed than usual🧐

Everyone knew something was definitely up when she actually laughed in the middle of a Senate meeting

Frank was walking around the room while Reyna sat down in one of the two praetor seats. She usually let him handle these types of meetings since he was new at being a praetor

He could use the experience

He went through some important notices and such, then got to talking about the last party thrown on camp grounds (this is canon!! ☝️ apparently camp Jupiter knows how to throw a good party🕺)

“…also, I know we all love a good party. But let’s go easy with the dancing while holding weapons yeah? We don’t want a murder on the dancefloor”

From where you were sitting, you immediately looked at Reyna, surprising yourself as you met her gaze

Was she already looking at you?

Your face flushed a little but ANYWAYS-

You mouthed to her, your face dead serious “…You better not kill the groove”

Fuck oh my gods that was the worse song pun EVER

Reyna couldn’t believe she let out a snort, covering her mouth in the process, regaining her composure as everyone watched her incredulously

Okay maybe she had a crush on you

It was a rainy day, just the way you loved. You were sitting in your bed, book in your lap + warm drink in your hand while you waited for Reyna to finish making hers so she could join you for a reading session

But instead of reading, you just watched her as she sat down beside you, giving you a smile before opening her book

She could feel your gaze on her. The tip of her ears started to get slightly red

“What?” She finally asked, smiling with an inquisitive eyebrow raised at you

Her smile fell as she saw your troubled expression

“Nothing. It’s just-“ you hesitated

“Hey” She said softly, closing her book while scooting closer to you

“What’s wrong?” She asked, looking into your eyes, putting a hand on your arm

You couldn’t hold it in anymore

Shifting your gaze to the ground, you asked her to tell you the truth

Did she only hang around you so you wouldn’t tell anyone about her secret?

Her eyes hardened, her hand retracting from your arm

You stared at her, waiting from an answer

But it never came

You knew it, you were right. She just didn’t wanted to hurt your feelings by admitting it

You stood up, setting your cup aside

“It’s alright, you don’t have to be around me anymore. I wont tell anyone either way-

“No! Wait” She exclaimed, grabbing your wrist before you could walk away

You turned to her, surprised

Her eyes were watering, her grip on your wrist tightening

She inhaled weakly before saying

“I’m a traitor”

“Reyna, it’s alright. You don’t have to-“ You started

She interrupted you by telling you everything. How she killed her father so she and her sister could escape, how that could get her exiled, or worse, if anyone found out

When she finished, you had a hand covering your mouth, eyes wide

“I-I didn’t tell you because I thought you wouldn’t want to be around me anymore-“

You cut her off by hugging her, catching her completely off guard

You told her you’d never distance yourself from her off of something like that

What happened wasn’t her fault

She hugged you back tightly, the tears she was holding in now streaming down her face

You pulled apart from her slowly, wiping her tears softly with your thumb

She stared at you with such intensity that it made you let out a small gasp

She suddenly put a hand on top of the one you rested on her face

Looking into your eyes, she said “I hang around you because… I care for you”

You smiled, telling her you obviously cared for her too

She laughed a little, shaking her head. “Not like that” she said

She was still sitting on your bed, while you were standing in front of her

She pulled you closer. Now, you were standing between her legs

She let go of your hand, placing both of hers tightly around your waist

Then she stood up, her face dangerously close to yours

With her lips hovering above yours, she repeated her words in a whisper

“I care for you”

Hiii, I wanted to give the match ups a try cause why not. I go by she/her and prefer to be matched with a male character, I’m also underaged. Oh and I’d prefer to be a demigod, personally I think I’d be the daughter of Hestia or maybeee Hephaestus or Apollo, idrk 😭. Anywaysss, about me. I loveee music/art/film, really anything creative, like I have a deep appreciation for them and artists. I actually used to go to a performing arts school. I also love nature and appreciate that as well. Like, I love going on hikes when I can and even just looking at the beauty of the nature wherever I am. I’m not really much of a sports person, like I love playing but I wouldn’t do anything professionally. I do martial arts though, which is definitely a biggg passion of mine. As a person, although it doesn’t necessarily feel like it to me, sometimes I’m pretty sure I’m fairly outgoing, at least more than other people I know. But I’m also the type of person to really open up and become more social and talkative the more you get to know me. After the second titan war ended, Percy started to value some things way more than he did before it all went down

Not to say he was an ungrateful person, far from it. Percy really did have a heart of gold and often put his loved ones above his own personal needs. Loyalty was his fatal flaw after all

But there was just some things he felt he didn’t pay much attention to before the war, like Hestia for example. The goddess practically lived on camp grounds and he barely even acknowledged her before she saved him when he needed it the most, reminding him what was most important when everything was falling apart during the war

Or Pan. the god of the wild had practically died in front of him, telling him and his friends that the future of nature, of the world they lived in was actually in their hands. Everyone had to do their part for it to survive

He had to pay them back somehow, honor them

So that’s why he was THRILLED when the first Hestia kid arrived on camp after he made the gods promise they would claim all of their kids and send them to camp Half Blood, where all of the gods would have cabins for their descendants

This was his chance to pay back Hestia for her help!! So he promptly asked Chiron to mentor the new girl and teach her what she needed to know about self defense and sword fighting, since she was practically his age and had to survive until now with the mortals without proper training

In fact, how did you manage to do that anyway?

He didn’t really know, but he felt he was the best man for the job. His sword fighting skills were unmatched, only bested by Luke’s

So, not gonna lie. He was kind of waiting to show off his skills on your first lesson and help you with whatever you needed

He told you he would first show you some hand to hand combat moves before y’all could move on to sword fighting, to which you shrugged it out, being cool with it

Too cool even, you seemed super comfortable with it 🧐

“Okay. First, I’ll come at you slowly and you can try and stop the blow however you feel is right. This will be kind of a warm up to start things off. But don’t worry, I won’t actually hurt you, if you feel uncomfortable in any way, please let me know okay?” He said, smiling kindly at you while taking an offensive stance

You nodded, waiting for him to start

He slowly swung at you, being careful to not scare you out

Imagine how completely and utterly bamboozled he was when he found himself lying on the ground, the arm he swung at you now twisted and pressed on to his back, just enough to keep him on the ground

He was like 🧍‍♂️

And you were like 😄 so what’s next?

Bro what the fuck

That was honestly so impressive that when you offered a hand to help him get back to his feet, his cheeks where slightly flushed

He cleaned his throat, fixing his camp Half Blood necklace back into place

“Okay so I guess you’ve got that part covered” He said, giving you his signature sarcastic smirk

You let out a small laugh in response, explaining to him that you actually loved martial arts and that stuff came easy to you

He was completely fascinated, asking you to help him better his hand to hand combat skills after you guys finished

That was the start of a kind of chaotic friendship between the two of you. You helped him better himself in your area while he gave you sword fighting lessons

You weren’t really a fan of it but Percy was so talented and so patient while teaching you that you were winning sparring duels in no time

Y’all were a power duo in capture the flag for sure. You knocked people out and Percy wouldn’t let anyone get even slightly near you with riptide

You knew some strategies in theory from some books you had read and Percy knew how to put them into action

You quickly developed a strong bond, getting closer and closer to each other every day

You always ranted to him about art in general, he didn’t really understand most of the things you told him but he always listened attentively, even memorizing some of your favorite artists to get you stuff related to them when he went home for the school year

You often hanged out by the lake, you absolutely loved how it looked when the sun hit it just right, with the trees reflected on it

One time, Percy took you to the bottom of it, putting an air bubble around you both so you could see how beautiful it was underwater

Your eyes shone bright at the view, but you frowned as soon as you saw a couple of plastic wrappers at the bottom

You asked Percy to lower the bubble so you could collect them and properly throw them out at the surface

That made Percy stare at you with such intensity and admiration that you wondered just what the hell you had done to get him looking at you like that

You avoided his eyes, ears tinted red

It was no secret that you had developed feelings for him, he was so sweet and kind

You wondered if he felt the same

Suddenly, his warm hand met yours as he slowly interlaced your fingers together

haiii! i saw your matchups so i wanted to see who you think i’d be good with!

according to online quizzes my godly parent is Dionysus (which is fair). I’m transmasc (they/he) and i don’t really have a dating preference, anyone is fine! Uh i really like to draw/write and i love photography, if you dropped me off in the woods i would entertain myself for hours and come back with millions of photos- I get really bad anxiety over social things, i struggle to order my own food or ask for things. When i worry i get bad stomach aches and sort of shut down during the day. Uhmmmmm I’m an INFJ if that helps! i despise medical offices (the dentist or the doctors) and i cannot stand needles- i will do anything and everything to get out of getting my flu shot. music is one of the most important things to me, i love physical CDs and i love making playlists on spotify for every possible mood i could be in. and finally i am 18, so aged up characters or older characters for sure!

Things had finally quieted down on camp half blood’s infirmary after the whole fighting Gaea incident

On a span of a month, the injured were all properly taken care of, which meant the worst thing Will had to deal with all day was an arrow removal from someone’s ass after the latest game of capture the flag

Usual stuff

He was honestly about to check if one of the Stoll brothers could steal him some snacks to pass the time when he heard screaming from outside the front door

Welp

So much for no work☹️

Checking the window, he saw someone- no wait. It was two people, one of them definitely being the head counselor of the Dionysus cabin, and the other a very freaked out brother of theirs

Oh this was gonna be good

Opening the door, he crossed his arms as he caught the end of the discussion the siblings were having

“…swear by the gods I’ll NEVER catch the flu, I can PROMISE you that” You pleaded to your sibling and counselor

“How can you promise not to get sick? Quit the bs and get the damn shot already, you’re the only one in the cabin who hasn’t and I swear by our father’s name that if someone gets sick because of you and your fear of needles you’re going down” Your sibling threatened as they pushed you up the few steps of the infirmary’s entrance

“No wait WAIT- I’ll do anything you want, I’ll clean the whole cabin by myself before inspection” you begged

“Not if you get sick you won’t” your sibling said

“What if I swear by the river Styx I won’t get sick?” You asked

“Are you actually insane-“ Your sibling asked

“I swear by the river Sty-“ you interrupted

“Hey, okay. Let’s stop that before you get yourself fried up over a cold” Will interrupted you this time, probably saving you from the never ending pain of breaking an oath made by the river Styx

Honestly, that actually sounded better than getting the gods damned flu shot. You weren’t kidding when you told your sibling you couldn’t do needles, you felt like throwing up

“Special delivery for ya Will, Good luck!” Your sibling yelled as they betrayed you, power walking back to y’alls cabin

Leaving a slightly shaken you with a very amused Will

Inside the infirmary, your leg bounced up and down high speed as you sat on Will’s office, waiting for him to bring back something for your stomach which was already very upset with the stress the whole situation was causing you

“Here, a sip should do the trick” Will said as he gave you a small cup of nectar, which lessened your discomfort considerably

“Thanks” you muttered, still very much anxious

“Look, I’m not going to do it against your will, but I could make it practically painless. What do you say?” Will asked, looking for some supplies

“If I gave you like, three whole dracmas, would you tell my counselor I got the shot?” You quickly asked

“What?”

“Make it four, no- five! It’s all I have on me right now-“

“Look- just, let’s just breathe a little alright? I’m not taking that weak ass bribe. That wouldn’t even get me a ride on the Gray sisters taxi, pipe down” Will finished

You scoffed out an incredulous laugh, seemed like you weren’t getting out of this one

“How about some music?” Will suddenly asked as he eyed the portable CD player you were carrying

Demigods weren’t allowed to use a phone since it was practically a monster magnet, but you didn’t mind it much seeing as you absolutely loved collecting Physical CDs of your favorite artists and bands. If you had music, you were good

You nodded, maybe that would help

Will opened a cabinet which you thought was probably packed up with medical supplies

To your surprise, it was actually completely filled with CDs and vinil records, a full on collection on display

Will was Apollo’s son after all, music was a big deal for him too. Being the best healer of the Apollo cabin made him spend a lot of time in the infirmary, so music definitely helped him get through the day

Your eyes were practically shining as you stared at the cabinet. Will seemed to be looking for something specific in it

“Here! This is my favorite-“ Will said as he took a CD out of his collection, handing it to you

“Oh what the fuck” you interrupted, taking your cd player out and pressing a button to open it, showing Will what was inside

The exact same CD Will was holding out, from the exact same band

You both smiled at each other

That was the start of HOURS of conversation, y’all only sat back down when Will had showed you everything he had on that cabinet

The conversation was so fluid that you guys ended up talking about a lot of things, getting to know each other, finding out you had more in common than you thought

Will was very appreciative of the arts in general, being an Apollo kid, it came naturally to him

Just as you were talking about your photography obsession, you both heard a few knocks at the main infirmary entrance

“Will? Uh- you guys alright in there? Did it go well?” Your head counselor inquired hesitantly

“Shit”

You and Will eyed each other, your eyes wide

Will checked the time, you had only a a few minutes before the harpies would end anybody that was out of their cabins

You both had absolutely lost track of time

And weirdly, you didnt seem to mind

“Okay, we can do this. I’ll give you the shot now okay? I’m just going to let your sibling know, I’ll be right back” Will said as he quickly made his way to the main entrance

Okay maybe now you did mind it a little bit

And that’s how you ended up with your eyes tightly shut, sweating an abnormal amount while Will applied some rubbing alcohol where he was going to stab you apply the shot

“Hey, I swear you won’t feel a thing if you give me those dracmas you promised” Will tried to lighten the mood

You didn’t respond, heart beating fast, nerves about to explode

Then you felt a warm hand in your arm

“Hey, it’s alright”

You opened your eyes to see Will’s directly in front of yours

He had lowered himself so he was at your eye level. And he was close, really close

“You’re going to be alright.” His tone was lower, softer

“Here” He put the earphones of your CD player into your ears

As your favorite song started playing loudly in your ears, Will smiled, mouthing a “Trust me”

He got up, directing himself to our side to apply the shot

Your hand tightened around the chair’s handle, you were still nervous, but way less then before

But your heart was still beating fast. Strange.

“So, on three?” You asked Will

“Already done” Will said, cleaning your arm up

“Told you it wouldn’t hurt” He smiled, winking while at it

And there it was again, your heart beating just a little bit faster

You were still silently watching him, your eyebrows raised high

“So, you said you liked to take pictures right? The strawberry field is insane in the morning” Will started as he threw the syringe he used on you away

“Want me to show you a nice spot tomorrow?” He asked, eyeing you with a small smile

“Ah- yeah, sure” you blurted out

I wear glasses and without them, the world around me is very blurry. I’m pretty shy and nervous, so I sort of have trouble speaking to strangers or people I don’t know well. But once I’m comfortable around you and we mutually see each other as friends, I’m able to show you my chaotic side and feel comfortable saying some pretty wild things. I also make quite a few sexual jokes. Though I am more comfortable to speak freely with my friends, if I’m in a relatively big group that consists of my friends, I get really nervous speaking in front of all of them, so I opt to talk to individuals rather than the collective. I crave for physical affection but I never ask for it because I’ll feel bad if I get rejected of such, so I’ll wait til someone decide to give me affection. I’m a huge romantic fan and love reading romance stories or fanfic, and I love men who are completely obsessed with you. If I’m going to be honest, I feel more attracted to depressed or sad men rather than happy or cheerful men. I love eating food, but don’t really like eating in front of people much cause I always feel like I’m being judge for the way I eat even if that’s not actually the case. I can’t help it, so I prefer to eat alone. My favourite food is chicken curry and rice! I have trouble keeping eye contact so I usually look somewhere else while talking to people, but I do occasionally (while in the conversation) do make eye contact. There are times where it takes time for my brain to process some situations or dialogue, and I have an awfully memory. I also hate reading out load cause my brain takes time to process the words on the paper for me to read out load, so it makes me say the words out load slowly and almost choppy, you know? I love my friends very much and always love to hang out with them, even if we are simply in a room together only doing our own thing. I just like being in their presence. Though, once my social battery runs out, I’d like to be alone in my room (though, I I have a romantic partner, I wouldn’t mind them being with me). I’m always open to be their for my friends if they are down and listen to their problems, but not good at verbally comforting them, so I’m open for providing them physical comfort such as a hug or rubbing their back if that’s what they want. If I don’t anything embarrassing, I will constantly think about the moment for years and best myself over it and mentally redo that whole conversation or action in a way better way that I should have done to have not embarrassed myself earlier, you know? I very kind and often give people the benefit of the doubt, and I’m sort of a pushover, but I’m still able to say no to situations that make me uncomfortable.

I love reading, drawing, and creating ocs and world building. I’m such a mythology nerd, especially when it comes to Greek mythology (I have many books about these myths). I absolutely hate bugs and because of them, I hate being in forests and such cause I always get swarmed by them. I’m also afraid of the dark, so when I sleep, I leave my door open and the hallway light on.

(Let’s all collectively join hands and pretend he didn’t die 🫰)

After the second titan war was officially over, Luke went through a lot before finally being able to return to camp

He did literally stab himself to end Kronos’s reign of terror, so after a long fight discussion amongst the gods, it was decided he should be given a second chance at life. A brand new start

Not without cleaning his mess first though. He was assigned by the gods to send a load of monsters he recruited for Kronos back to Tartarus, while simultaneously healing from his fatal wound

Even under Apollo’s direct care, the injury left a huge, nasty scar on his body

Honestly, he preferred facing whatever punishment Hades had for him in the Underworld than helping any god. But he owed everyone (specially Annabeth and Thalia, his real family) an apology and to make things right

So he killed a shitload of monsters, (complained the whole time)

When he finally got back to camp, he almost couldn’t believe how much it had changed. The place was PACKED with new campers (and they were not all cramped in his cabin like usual 😱)

And there were twice as many cabins too??? for the smaller gods???

Was he at the right place?😀 Was he actually dead?🧍‍♂️

Took a lot of explaining for him to believe he wasn’t

The thought of demigods not having to go through what he went through was incredible, but hard to believe

A bit bittersweet for him too

On top of that, it took a lot of time and effort to regain everyone’s trust on him

Even with all the new space available in the Hermes cabin, he had to sleep on the ground for a long time before his siblings let him have a bed 💀

He had to prove himself for a long time before everyone started opening up to him again

Slowly but surely, it started to happen!! Annabeth and most of the campers got back to speaking terms with him, Thalia visited sometimes and Percy was still a little sus every time they interacted (specially when Annabeth was in the room🤷‍♀️) but it eventually got better

It wasn’t the same as before of course, which made him feel…lonely most of the time. It wasn’t perfect, but he was grateful for at least not being completely ignored

Travis and Connor even stole a new pillow for him after a while of him sleeping without any 👏

Soon enough, life was almost normal again (as normal as a demigod’s life could get)

He did live with an imense sense of guilt and had recurring nightmares about what happened, accompanied with sharp pains on his chest, right where he stabbed himself

But it was a small price to pay for all the pain he caused, he thought

Eventually, he became head counselor of the Herme’s cabin again and Chiron gave him permission to teach sword lessons to the newest campers.

Life was as good as it could get for him, for sure

Though it definitely got a million times better with you in it

You were one of the new campers, practically Luke’s age when you arrived, which got yourself urgent self defense lessons with Mr. Castellan himself

He was the ideal person for the job, being the best swordsman on camp and all

Chiron also knew Luke had a way of making newcomers feel welcomed, being used to do it with practically every new kid in camp before the war

So, as Luke made his way to your first lesson, he tried to come up with a way to politely ask you how you survived all this time without proper training-

Only to give it up as soon as he laid his eyes on you

Of course you were a daughter of Aphrodite, you were drop dead gorgeous. Probably survived all this time outside camp by using the power her kids inherited, charmspeak

All of that was going through his head while he intensely stared at you without saying a word 🗿

Making you nervously eye him back 👁️👁️

Noticing you were getting anxious, he snapped out of it, the very tip of his ears getting slightly red

Quickly introducing himself as your new self defense teacher, he offered a hand for you to shake

To which you did after a bit of an awkward pause, nodding at his words. He seemed like a confident, nice guy

He took it you were a bit shy so he made sure to try and not to make you uncomfortable while teaching you some basic sword moves and techniques

You were doing your best to keep up but honestly felt like straight up dying everytime Luke asked you to repeat a move

The sword was heavy and the afternoon was hot, making you sweat profusely

That’s when everything went downhill :)

Your glasses just wouldn’t stay still in your face, the sweat making them slip down your nose every time you tried a new move

Right as you were about to swing your sword for the millionth time, your glasses fully fell off your face, making you flail the big weapon around uncontrollably

Coincidentally chopping a good amount of Chiron’s tail off, who was just passing by to check on your progress

Chiron promised he needed a new trim anyway, but that didn’t stop you from apologizing almost a thousand times and sitting down with your face buried in your hands

The situation amused Luke profusely, but he could also tell you were seriously beating yourself up about it

So after thinking for a while, he gently tapped you on the arm, showing you small scar he had on his forearm

He told you it was from his first ever sword lesson, but it wasn’t caused by a sword

When you gave him a confused look, he told you it was a consequence of accidentally poking a Pegasus’s bottom with a sharp weapon

You tried not to, but you laughed right at his face

Which made Luke smile as well, you had a cute laugh

After that, you slowly started opening up to your sword teacher, who actually got attached to you pretty quickly

Y’alls friendship was honestly precious oml, he absolutely LIVED for the fact that you were completely unhinged when y’all were alone, which got both of you a lot of inside jokes

When you first made a sexual joke in front of him he was completely shook

You were in the middle of training, making him accidentally cut a whole training doll in half after you said it

Who knew that something like that could come out of a shy person like yourself

He laughed and threw a dirty joke right back at you, but his ears were completely red in the process

The first time he had one of his pain streaks next to you he got really stressed out, not really wanting to talk about the origin of his injury

Partially because it was tremendously hard for him to talk about his past, but also because he was afraid you’d hate him for it

But you never pressured him to say anything, just sat beside him with a hand on his back for support, furrowed brows in concern as you waited for his pain to pass

He absolutely adored you for that

He didn’t feel alone anymore

He’s a naturally attentive person so he can always tell when you’re uncomfortable in social situations, always making sure that everything you’re saying is getting the correct amount of attention, even if he was the only one listening to it

Everyone knew he kind of had a soft spot for you (totally unrelated to the crush he was developing on you)

He always went easy on you at sparring lessons, just to absolutely humiliate whoever was next against him by winning in seconds

He sneaked food into your cabin when you absolutely could not stand eating with everyone else at the dining pavilion

(anyone else would probably get caught in the act and get absolutely wrecked by the harpies, but he was a son of the god of thieves so 😋)

Kept you close during capture the flag, not only to keep an eye on you but also because he absolutely LIVED for the fact that you were more scared of the bugs than the monsters who lived inside the woods

You dealt with the monsters and he jabbed all the bugs on the way, you made a pretty good team

It was pretty obvious he had a thing for you, everyone knew about it but you apparently

I mean, he stole got you a whole deck of mythomagic cards because he knew you were totally obsessed with mythology, the guy was pretty much down bad for you pls 😩

And honestly, you felt the exact same way

It was pretty clear in the way your face got full on red every time he had any type of physical contact with you

He adored it and absolutely did it on purpose just to get a reaction out of you

He wanted to let you know how he felt, he really did

But on top of not wanting to risk your friendship, he was deathly afraid you’d absolutely despise him after you found out about his past

It was only a matter of time anyway, but he was going to avoid it as much as he could

Although you found out way sooner and it went WAY better than he expected

It was a warm night and you were awfully quiet, more than usual

It wasn’t because your social battery went out. No… he knew something was up by the way you hugged yourself tightly, touching your face from time to time

He asked if you wanted to hang out by the beach for a bit, to which you silently agreed

Y’all sat in silence for a while, Luke giving you concerned side eyes from time to time

He eventually spoke up, saying you could talk to him about anything you wanted to, he’d listen

Your eyes watered a bit. You breathed out and eventually told him that some days, you had a bit of trouble accepting your current weight and your acne scars

You told him you were working on it but some days were harder than others

Honestly, he was bamboozled lol

He could never imagine someone as beautiful as you had those kind of insecurities

Before even thinking about it, he said you were absolutely perfect in his eyes

It was the first thing he thought when he met you actually

You almost choked on air bro WHAT

Your face was COMPLETELY red, about to explode🚨

Ears fully red after realizing how he slipped, he quickly continued, telling you that he also understood how you felt

He touched the scar he had on his face, lowering his hand to touch the one on his chest right after

You knew something bad had happened to him. But you also knew he had to tell you on his own terms

You just softly repeated what he told you

“You can talk to me about anything you want to, I’ll listen”

His eyes met yours and you were surprised by how much sadness they held in that moment

He shifted his gaze from you to the sand, taking handfulls of it just to let it fall from his fingers as he told you about his past

He told you everything

“You can… cut contact with me if you want to, I’ll understand-“

He was suddenly interrupted by you hugging him

He was surprised to say the least, arms slowly closing around you after some time as he let out a shaky breath

You both sat like that for a while before you told him that none of what he said changed the way you felt about him, everyone deserved a second chance

Wait

The way… you felt about him?

Oop

He pulled apart from you gently, still holding you close in front of him

“Exactly how do you feel about me?”

You had no choice but to confess, face fully red and straight up stuttering the whole time

He smile was HUGE oh my gods that little shit was enjoying every second of it

When you finished, you were trembling a bit, afraid you just ruined the best friendship you ever had
