Bisexuals aren’t…. a fandom. Or a football team. Or a tv show. You can’t boycott a sexual orientation just because some people of that orientation are problematic. You can’t create a sexual orientation which is inherently non-problematic. That’s the responsibility of the individual. You saying “I’m an ally” does not equate to you being a good ally. 

There are gay republicans. There are racist lesbians. There are ableist bisexuals. There are biphobic trans people. Caitlin Jenner is a total anus. And believe it or not there are some good, decent, kind cis straight people. There’s no good team to join, just good individuals doing their best without asking for a reward for it.

Listen, I love media and stories and interesting characters… but fictional characters are not more important than real people. If your dedication to fandom outstrips your ability to be decent to existing humans… you have an actual, serious problem and need to take a step back. As in, seek help and remove yourself from online fandom until you can participate without becoming a bully. Media is not a ‘safe space’ for you if you’re using it as an excuse to abuse others.

I don't want to get people down in the dumps but I'm feeling kinda down. I realised I haven't been talking to people (texting or verbally) lately and now I'm contemplating my own worth.

I have nothing to me apart from art. I used to have a passion in history, still do but I feel like what I know is mediocre. I used to read a lot but I haven't picked up a book in 4-5 years and I'm boring. I have no personality other then awkward. And now looking at my art, it's not that good. People used to love my art but it's become not so much any more. I don't know what I'm doing with my life. I'm 18 and I have no job, and I'm going to a higher education but I don't know if the path I've chosen will get me where I want to be- even if I want too.

I want something to give me strength, I want to be worth something.

Please help me, I still have cancer and my last post isn't getting me help anymore

Hi, most of you have probably seen my last post that looked like this:

So the post now has over 12 thousand notes, and as great as it is to have that many notes..

I'm not getting anymore donations or notes from it and I'm really scared that it's because it has so many notes, that people are just looking past it now.

So I'm starting over with a new post.

About a month or two ago I made that post when I had absolutely nothing, and through a LOT of peoples kindness, I was able to buy my medicine and get a months worth of cancer treatment done.. but now it is September 1st and here in a couple of days I will be out of my medicine and due for my blood treatment but I once again have no way of paying for it.

I genuinely need donations again!!

My treatment involves draining my blood, because of the Polycythemia Vera, I have too much. I am at a higher risk of a stroke, and with my heart disease ontop of that.. the risk is even higher.

My medicine, my treatment, all of that.. is working!! Let me repeat because I am so happy to say this, but the treatment that I have been getting HAS BEEN WORKING FOR ME!! My hair has been growing back, my energy has been coming back, I've been able to eat more, and I've been able to get out of my house let alone my bed more and more thanks to being able to have my treatment.

But it costs money, and until I am approved for disability (which I have a working case for) people like you, spreading this post and donating to me.. you are helping me get better!!

So please, donate if you can to my PayPal account. I tried setting up a venmo account as well as a GoFundMe page, but my bank keeps assuming it's a fraud and canceling my accounts. So PayPal is all I have right now.
