Went to go see the Holiday lights in downtown Hartford yesterday with all the friends and their kiddos. It was a really wonderful and magical time! They had this lovely drink in an ornament bottle that lit up and was the hit of the night with all of us lol. I forgot to grab a photo of it, so boo on me but I still have the bottle. I'll snap one this week with something in it (:

Hope everyone had an amazing thanksgiving! Mine was lovely with family. We had too much food and too much to drink but that’s the whole point of the holiday!

I’m thankful for so much and I’m sure I’ll neglect something because my brain is Swiss cheese.

But some things I’m thankful for are:

1. My mom, brothers, niece, and nephew. My dad, who even though isn’t with us anymore is still one of the most important people in my life ❤️

2. My friends. They are few but amazing people.

3. My longest time friend, Max.

4. My guildies who are a constant stream of entertainment.

5. Books, film and video games. They’ve sent me to other worlds and realities and I’m happier for it all.

6. All four seasons.

7. Food to eat and having a roof over our heads.

Hunter will be my second level 80 in Wrath. Tell me why it has felt so much longer getting her to 80 than the paladin? LOL Not that I don't enjoy her, because I do...I can't put my finger on it. AND why is the bow/gun NOT the primary weapon appearance on them? So weird!

A couple of nights ago a handful of guildies and I made the new Evoker race in World of Warcraft (all of us crackheads pictured above in SS's). I have to admit, they ARE fun to play with, but there is definitely a learning curve to them. I enjoy other classes too much to swap over, but she'll definitely be an alt that I use for farming, etc.

My FAVORITE thing? Her 'human' form. I'm obsessed with her face <3 I also love their flying, floating, and gliding. As someone who is always 'slipping' off mountains, those come in super handy. I actually don't mind her dragon form either. Watching others play the Beta, I was thinking I wasn't going to like it, but it's lovely in it's own way.

Otherwise, I've been working on some pre-patch stuff. I was able to get in at least 1 kill of each elemental world boss on my main, which gave me the Feat of Strength Achievement [Against the Elements]. I also managed to pick up the 4 shard pieces off each one that creates the heirloom piece.

AND last but not least ... due to them not setting Evoker loot properly, some Evokers were getting Pandarian world bosses and Rukhmar's mount 100%, so Blizzard sent out a blue post increasing the drop rate for these mounts.

There are definitely some mixed feelings about this. Personally, even if I had these mounts, I wouldn't be "MAD" that others now get an extra 1 or even 5% at getting them. They'll still be rare and folks like me who have awful RNG may still never see these mounts.

BUT, I am still gonna try to get them. Went around on the main tonight and did the 4 pandaria ones. At Nalak, everyone hopped onto their serpents (other versions), as we waited and it was really pretty so I had to take a screenshot. <3

I've been having a lot of fun playing New World. The game is breathtaking. I find myself constantly stopping to take screenshots. I do wish there was an option to not have my character in the shot, but it's whatever! The game is lovely. The intricate crafting system keeps me busy for hours, the quests are fun and engaging, and it's been a blast leveling.

I got my original character to level 21, but then my good friend Max wanted to play the game, so I created a new one to play with him yesterday. Today we hit level 23. Leveling is definitely a better experience this time around compared to the original release.

If you like MMO's, crafting, questing, exploring and just immersing yourself in a beautiful game, I highly recommend this one!

Earlier I was in retail Warcraft to try to make some gold as the new expansion is out soon, and I like to have a decent cushion of gold for tokens to pay for my WoW time.

Addons are SO borked right now that it made it completely NOT fun to play. Normally I'd do 2-4 of my main characters but I could only manage my main and even that was rough.

I did make almost 30k today, so I can't complain TOO much, but not having my customary addons really made it a pain in the arse LOL. I know the developers of said addons are working hard, it's the new UI blizzard implemented that's fucking with it all. Hoping it gets sorted out before the actual expansion release at the end of the month. *fingers crossed*.

Overall a good 'me time' day today. My middle brother popped over in the morning and brought mom and I coffee, so that was super nice of him. We sat around and chatted for about an hour before he left to run errands.

The kids weren't over so didn't have to babysit the niece/nephew. Tomorrow it's just the nephew, and at 8 months, he's normally not too much trouble (depends if he's teething/having pains from that). SO I may get in a couple of hours of game time during the day if he's having a good day.

Friday it's just him again as Niece is in preschool for half the day and the other half she goes to my sis-in-law's mother's house as she's off work at 1PM. Only plans for the weekend are celebrating my brothers birthday on Sunday, and Raid on Sunday night in Classic Warcraft. Otherwise, the weekend is wide open for stuff. I'll probably try to get in some reading since it's been 100000080980978908 years since I last read something. MAYBE even some chapter drafting for my book. MAYBE (doubtful).

Decided to go ahead and buy New World since it's on sale for $20 until the 8th. Pretty glad I did. The game is absolutely gorgeous, and as someone who's been playing MMO's for about 12 years, pretty simple to get a handle on. I played an hour last night after intalling it, and about 4 today, and managed to get her to level 15.

The crafting system is very in-depth and pretty unique in it's own way, but very easy once you get the hang of it. I love farming stuff, so the game is hitting that itch nicely.

The final screenshot here is the outfit from the Twitch drops event they're doing right now. Been watching Towelliee play the game these last few days and that's what got me super interested in trying it out.

I figured now is a good time, since nothing new will be coming until the end of the month for Warcraft (there will be a small pre-patch event on the 15th that probably won't take long to do). Plus, there's no subscription for New World, so I can break for Warcraft and then come right back to this game to finish playing.

I've only done a very small tiny part of the map, and there's a LOT to explore, so I'm sure I'll have a lot more screenshots as I travel around.

Working on my Magicka Templar today in Elder Scrolls Online. I seem to have burnt myself out on Classic Warcraft, so taking a break today and playing some ESO.

I actually really enjoy ESO. I've only done about 40% of the content in the game, and look forward to taking my time with the rest. It's a great side game for when I need a break from Warcraft. I'm not big on PVP or else I probably wouldn't like the game too much. I think that might be the weakest part of the franchise.

I'm also re-watching Supernatural while I play. Currently at the end of Season 5. I love this show. I am glad there are 15 seasons to enjoy that I can bounce around from too. It's a very quiet, enjoyable Saturday; something I've needed since being sick like crazy for over two weeks (I had something 'viral' they couldn't figure out at the walk-in--gotta love our medical advancements /s).

I watched the second Enola film and I really enjoyed it! Henry Cavill is of course an amazing actor, and the young actress, Millie Bobby Brown is superb! The whole cast honestly is A list in this film. I hope we see more of Enola and cast, especially with little hints (like the ‘hidden’ scene at the end). I give the film an 8/10.
