Today is National Coming Out Day and I cannot believe it’s been more than 5 years since I let myself out of the closet.
I am bisexual and I don’t really remember when I decided to stop being afraid of who I love but ever since I started accpeting myself, I feel better.
Love is love. Don’t let yourself or anyone forget that.

So I just found out I was bi, and I’m really embracing it (but I’m still sorta in the closet, so it’s low key). I was wondering if it’s normal that I have sexual/romantic feelings for men, and only romantic feeling for women? Sometimes I think I’m not actually bi for feeling that way.
Hello!
Thank you for the question. This is totally normal and you are still bi. There’s a whole spectrum of sexuality. I think what you’re feeling is something called heterosexual biromantic (this means you’re sexually attracted only to the opposit gender, but can have romantic feelings for both). We hope this answers your question.

The streaming service is adding dozens of LGBT-themed films to its library including Howl, G.B.F., and modern favorites about queer women like Loving Annabelle.
LGBT-themed films have had some relative success at the box office this past year with the Oscar-nominated Call Me By Your Name and the teen hit Love, Simon but the majority of queer-themed films often still make their biggest splashes at film festivals and on streaming. Now Amazon Prime Video has worked with Los Angeles’s world-class LGBT film festival Outfest to acquire 58 official-selection feature films and make them available to Prime members, Variety reports.
Over the past year, Amazon Prime has worked with film festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, and the Toronto International Film Festival to acquire bundles of films directly from the filmmakers. Outfest is the latest to come on board.

Hi there, I'm a girl who thought she was straight for ages but surprise! I'm actually bisexual (In hindsight I really should have seen it coming). For some reason, I keep getting weirdly emotional about anything to do with wlw and I'm wondering if it's normal? It might be because I'm just starting to recognise my feeling but idk. I'm just a teenager and I'm feeling a bit confused.
Hello!
Don’t worry, it’s absolutely normal and totally fine to think of other girls. Especially now, when you’’re finally accepting your sexuality. Your mind is free from whatever chains it was in. So just embrace it :))

So I have identified as bi for the past two years. I have never been in a relationship or done anything with anyone. Recently I have been feeling more like my attraction to boys is theoretical, but I don't know if this is because I'm just a lesbian suffering from heteronormativity or just because I haven't met any decent guys yet. I really like the bi label and I see myself ending up with either gender in the future. Any advice?
Hello, dear friend, thank you for sending us this ask! I was (and still kind of am) in a very similar situation as you - there are periods in my life when I feel more attracted to guys, and sometimes I feel like I should just start identifying as ‘’gay’’ instead of ‘’bisexual’’. I have also had a period where I thought that I was homosexual but biromantic, since I could definitely see myself ending up marrying a girl and having a ‘platonic’ relationship. Now I have grown up a bit and have a clearer idea of what I am looking for in a relationship and a partner…. the only thing I still can’t really figure out is where I belong on the sexuality scale. My sexuality has become more fluid and I find myself being attracted to specific people rather than specific genders.Something very important I would like to point out is that you could be 90% attracted to one gender and 10% to the other and still identify as bisexual. Also, putting a label on is not necessary at all either. Nowadays, I avoid saying I am bisexual, I just talk to people saying ‘’there is a guy/ girl that I find attractive’’ or something, and, the people who should know details about my sexuality do know them. Everyone has a different idea of what bisexuality is, and in my own humble opinion, this is having the capacity to be attracted to and develop feelings for either gender. This does not mean that if you have not dated both guys and girls you can’t know for sure - not at all! I knew what I was attracted to long before I actually did something about it! So, the point is that if you feel comfortable using the label ‘’bi’’ or ‘’bisexual’’, and you can see yourself ending up with either gender in the future, then by all means use it!Take care! -Misho

fun history fact: a common argument against women voting was ads with cats dressed up as suffrage activists next to signs reading “i demand a vote” etc, basically saying that if women can vote, who’s next, cats?
