Miss #Miracle must have an inkling I’m about to travel again as she’s taken to lying on my trusty old suitcase (I’ve had this I think since I was 18 years old ) that’s several decades ago lol 😂 I’ve been looking at flights and accommodation for my next trip to #portugal🇵🇹 this time I’m most likely heading further northwest as I have some workshops and people I’d like to connect with while I’m there. Finally we had space and the weather was good enough for us to begin to put up our #preloved #summerhouse we had for our #ukallotement. Our foxy friend was waiting for us and kept their eye on us, even went inside at one point ( but couldn’t get a pic ) One of our projects will be to make a foxy den for them. The #uk #postal service is making some changes any old #stamps you have will be out of date after this month. Treat myself to a new #crystal while in #camdenmarket this weekend. It’s very rare I buy crystals as I have so many being a #crystaltherapist and been collecting for many many years. I’m only interested in ones I haven’t got already and it’s not very often I find ones i don’t have. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this gorgeous treasure called #Dumorteirite and it’s was perfect for my needs #organisation and to support #study and learning. I’ve been super busy #multitasking several courses of learning and many require much #academicwriting for assignments I’m required to do. Let’s see if this makes the process of reading and writing so much ( which I no longer enjoy - being too head based ) more enjoyable and graceful. Wow 🤩 it’s half way through the first month of 2023. I’ve been super busy since leaving #southafrica and returning to the #UK the 1st January I’ve not had a min to leave the flat as I’ve been completing lots of online commitments and life commitments. After the #sunset on #lionsmoutain the #fullmoon rose and we began our descent down the mountain Elandro’s was prepared with #headtorches which really helped us see where we were going. The descent was just as challenging if not more than the ascent in the dark and using muscles I wouldn’t normally use. Yum 😋 starting the day overlooking the beach 🏝️ at #gordonsbay with a delicious #shake Perfect to destress after our late night experience, hit by a car 🚗 on our way home from a gorgeous day out yesterday exploring the route to #capepoint our #Angels were looking after us no one hurt just the vehicles 🚗 bit damaged Interesting it isn’t a legal requirement to #insure your car in #southafrica ( who knew ) not me and approximately 70%of people don’t We realised their tax disc was out of date and didn’t realise actually it belonged to a different car too, as Police 👮‍♀️ this morning told us. I’ve always thought #travelling is an education in itself learning, a wonderful way to find out about how much diversity is in the way others live their lives, each countries culture. There is one thing that’s constant the world over and that is the Essence of Love we All understand this at an innate level even though the personal expression and experience of this varies greatly too. The sun ☀️ shines after the storm a couple of days ago, exploring our new accommodation that has a bigger pool 🏊‍♀️ to use. A very short walk to beach 🏝️ through the golf ⛳️ resort sees the aftermath of the storm, the sea 🌊 is a bit murky to swim in today. The views show #gordonsbay to our right and #strand to the left these areas are the childhood places of my partner Elandro a somethings have changed, some things have not in since the 22 years he lived here and the last time he visited 10 years ago. It’s important to connect with our roots, our childhood memories to #knowourselves deeply and to # reconnect to our #authentic self I’ve been reflecting on how powerful the sea is taking the debris from storms and transforming, like a cleansing purification process as the next day the seas are blue again and swimmable. We opted for a dip in our bigger pool on the estate.
