I was repeating the same day of school over and over for eight months, and the only way out was to die.

If you're sad you have to go to class, just know someone out there got an email at 6 am saying their 9 am was still happening and proceeded to hurriedly drive all the way to school only to realize the teacher was going to have a 20 minute zoom meeting and their next class wasn't until 1.

This isn't even a shit post if anyone on campus approaches you asking if you're baptized or believe in God you have full authority to say or do anything short of causing physical harm to them. They do not have your best interests in mind and they will take advantage of you and your beliefs in order to enrich themselves.
I know this is meant to be a funny haha account but I'm seeing a worrying amount of people give personal info to people from Awsom or similar orgs without realizing the potential consequences.
Might post more in a bit but for now, do not talk to them.

Bringing this post back but this time about finals. Remember Titans, Cs get degrees
In honor of Mental Health Monday, here are some tips to help you prepare for the incoming onslaught of exams, essays, and presentations.
Breathing faster allows your body to take in more oxygen, resulting in your body and mind moving faster. Remember this when you're answering a question you forgot the answer to.
Drinking water requires your body to spend energy to digest it, meaning it'll take away from your ability to concentrate. Replace water with something high in caffeine, sugars, and salts in order to stimulate the mind.
Same logic applies to food, make sure you're consuming something that won't take away from your ability to work. Fruits and vegetables, for example, are igh in fiber and thus will cause you to use the bathroom mid exam. Replace them with something else in order to prevent this embarrassing incident
Motivate yourself by remembering your classmates are smarter and more capable than you, and will have an easier time than you. This is not only true but a mindset that will ensure a healthy perspective on those around you
Give yourself time to relax before the big test, binge drinking and partying the night before an exam will allow you to get rid of all the stress that's built up in you these past weeks.
Remember to look both ways when entering the street and have a tusktastic week Titans!

Reminder that there's a reason why people only eat thanksgiving food on thanksgiving and it's because it sucks. I've personally been trying to start a tradition in my family to make good food that doesn't require 17 hours of prep time and it's made everyone happier. Be the change you want to see in the world.

Fun fact: I had a draft post about us building a solid gold elephant statue in the quad now that tuition is going up. This was because I figured it'd be funny for them to waste their new 8 million dollars on something like that instead of more parking or renovating the rest of the school
Other fun fact: The school is building an elephant statue near the quad now that the tuition has gone up

I understand that no one goes to CSUF because it's a party school. However it's very disappointing to find out that the only Halloween functions happening are either run by a fraternity that got suspended or are all the way in Long Beach.

CSUF's Official Review of The Coffin of Andy and Leyley.
Minor spoilers for episode 1 and an ending for episode 2
Having complete the burial ending (will be doing decay later when I finish more work) I have to say that this shouldn't have been a game, but some sort of animated series. No one talks about how good the puzzles or gameplay are. The dialogue and plot are the main draw, and I think a game is almost a waste of them. Obviously the multiple endings could only work in this medium, but that could be fixed the way Evangelion handled it.
I also think calling it "the incest game" is like calling The Last of Us "the hospital game" because yes, that's a major plot point, but that is far from the only thing the game has going on and honestly doing so doesn't do anything but hurt the reputation of the game among outsiders who would otherwise be interested in the game.
Ashley and Andrew have some of the best chemistry I've seen in a fictional duo and I hate it. You can tell they spent most of their lives together and aside from, you know, it's pretty realistic. I can tell the creator has a sibling because normally this type of relationship wouldn't be done in such a believable way. They know exactly what makes the other person tick, and they are not afraid to piss each other off if need be.
I'll say that I don't really like the occult in media cause it's a really easy cop out to make something edgier, but I'm honestly fine with the way it's more of a thing that happens than the two being these Satan worshipping cannibals. I'm interested to see how the cult plays a role in the next episode, especially since Andrew's palm marking hints at something big.
This game also has a few moments where the author's a bit too edgy. Not like creepypasta blood everywhere type of edgy, but in a "You're not concerned with a demon saying you have a tar colored soul" way. This isn't often but it's enough to where I don't feel like it's trying too hard.
Lastly, yes I think the incest dream is weird. It's supposed to be weird, they're psychopaths who kill and eat their parents. The dev isn't trying to normalize incest, he's trying to show how their lives have become so reliant on each other that any intimate connection with another human has to be between them. It's not healthy, and it shouldn't be supported. The creator isn't condoning it (imo the "Cry about it" art is meant to be him saying that he can put whatever they want in their game) and as I said before, it's not what the game should be known for.
Overall, I think if you're not turned off by the idea of cannibalism, the occult, toxic codependency, and of course, incest, then you'll find that the 10 dollars is well spent, especially since the fandom is not only growing but there's still a lot to happen between now and the release of episode 3. 8/10

I heard the squirrels are going on strike next semester
To clarify, the union only goes on strike when a majority of the members choose to. Nut Gathers 223 has yet to even hold a vote to hold an election. But yeah we'll probably see some action next semester

We would like to remind everyone that the conversations you have in the library can be heard by all in attendance. I'm trying to study for my geology quiz I do not need to hear about "How tasty them toes were."
