Astro Notes Part XVI
Signs on the house cusps within 2 or even 3 degrees of the next house cusp can be interpreted as falling into the next house. For instance, if your 8th house begins at 17 degrees Cancer and ends at 27 degrees Gemini and your 9th house begins at 28 degrees Gemini and your Venus is in 26 degrees Gemini, your Venus can be interpreted as falling into either the 8th or 9th house, but you may feel it fits better in the 9th house and readings of Venus in the 9th may better address your own expressions of Venus. Signs on the 7th house (your descendant) are often signs you may be friends with. Signs on the 4th house can feel like home to you, for good or bad. For instance, if your IC is in Taurus and you have Moon or Venus in the 4th, Taurus suns may be pleasant to you and you may have an affiliation with them or feel amiable in their presence. If you have harsher outer planets such as Saturn or Uranus, or Mars or Pluto in the 4th, your relationship with Taurus suns may be unpleasant or combative and discordant, and you may find yourselves in a lot of pain or conflict with them and even be encumbered with great losses and emotional whiplash that reminds you of an emotionally difficult or turbulent childhood. These people may arouse a lot of emotion or anger from you. They may be very negative sources of energy in your life. People with sun signs that match your 10th house or midheaven/MC may be your mentors and help you find your way or path in life. They can be very instrumental to your success and connect you with people that will help elevate and establish you in society. They can bolster your reputation, or, alternatively, ruin it if Pluto is present in the natal birth chart of the native in this area. People with sun signs of your 1st house/rising sign/ascendant or 8th house may bring you a lot of intensity and strife, intense feelings that may be toxic or draining. You may find yourself in parasitic relationships with these people where both of you learn something from the other. These relationships are often very karmic and serve as lessons that improve your growth. Your relationships with these people may be long-term but unhealthy, toxic, detrimental to your being, all-encompassing and consuming, and hard to break free from. They may arouse much pain and struggle within you. They may introduce you to toxic substances or addictions. There may be an element of friction or codependency. Scorpio moons want to be seen but only on their terms. Hate anything invasive. Hate feeling interviewed or giving interviews. Hate explaining their choices. Often has a hidden motive or agenda. Calculating. Brainstorms. Long-term plans. Concrete goals. Determination. Iron will. May conceal their intelligence and surprise you with it. Very, very smart, not necessarily academic, may struggle in classroom settings. Good at street smarts and life skills. Knows how to protect themselves verbally, emotionally, and physically. Will fight you or kick your ass if your hurt them or someone they love. Protectors: very protective of those they care about. Great liars, but may be very honest, brutally so at times. Threatening. Willful. Always in pursuit of something. Likes order and security. Scorpio suns like to be the villain sometimes. They will purposefully piss people off to see how much power they have over them. They go against the grain a lot. They like to test people and get reactions from them. It makes them feel powerful and in control. Many are control freaks. They like to bait, provoke you, and spark debate. Push your buttons. Other’s anger excites them. It’s like foreplay. Often are attracted to people they fight with. Love to argue. May follow an argument with makeup sex or angry sex, especially if Venus or Mars or mercury or Pluto is in Scorpio. Likes to push their limits and the limits of others. Doesn’t take no for an answer. Often coerces or manipulates others into doing what they want. Perceptive. Highly observant. Tactical. Good at chess (emotionally), in terms of strategy. Always has a plan and a backup plan. Strategical geniuses.
When someone’s sun is conjunct your north node, the relationship is typically positive and enlightening. They may be inspirational and inspire you or help you to discover who you are in this lifetime. They may be essential to your journey and help your soul transform. They may introduce you to hobbies or organizations that help you thrive and know yourself. You may find part of your identity in them. When someone’s sun falls into your seventh house, you can lose yourself in them. Your own identity becomes suppressed under theirs. You may forfeit vital parts of who you are, trying to change yourself to be who they need or want you to be. They may force you to change or take advantage of you. You may feel like you can’t live without them. When your sun or Venus falls into someone else’s 6th house in synastry, they may become part of your daily routine or vice versa. You may attend to their physical, emotional, and habitual needs. You can become inseparable or be homebodies. You may become emotionally attached to them. For Venus opposite Uranus, relationships or connections can be very spontaneous. They may meet someone once & have a special connection with them but never see them again, or run into someone who significantly changes the course of their life or directs them to a pursuit or career, & never intimately know them. Venus square Uranus may find themselves with flighty partners who are emotionally absent or disappear from time to time. Relationships may be rocky or unstable at times. May be conflict-prone or challenging. May go through many ups and downs, wrenches, change of plans/direction, and life stressors and challenges. One partner’s work may take them across the country, away, or overseas for months at a time. One person may have the emotional or financial burden of keeping the family together. One partner may struggle with unemployment or have an inconsistent source of income or constantly be changing jobs or working odd jobs. May not have a stable, predictable source of income. Partner may be in jail or hospitalized for physical or mental health issues. Partner may have financial responsibility of their own family & keep them afloat in addition to caring & helping provide for their fellow partner. They may constantly have to travel to be with their partners or spend time away from them for long periods. Relationships can be lengthy & time-consuming. One or both partners may have to make sacrifices. May travel the world together. May live in separate homes, states, counties, countries, or continents from a partner. For instance, one partner may live in Oregon while the other lives in Minnesota, or one partner may live in Japan while the other lives in Canada. They may be together for only parts of the year or half, or split their time between two places. May struggle to make it work. May be separated geographically by distance, or by way of emotional distance. May have unconventional relationships. Blended family. Step or half children & parents. May be married but not be in a relationship with said spouse but still live in the same house, or may be married & live separately in one house while their partner lives in another house. May be married but not sleep in the same bed at night. One person may sleep on the couch. May be married & divorced several times. May never marry. May have a unique or special arrangement with romantic partners. May be non-monagmous or have open, non-exclusive relationships. May be swingers. May date creatives or nomads. For instance, may date a hippie or a starving/struggling artist or commissioner. Scorpio moons need to feel strong. They hate to be called weak or be accused of pussyfooting and will just say the truth aloud without tact or sensitivity sometimes. Others can find their bluntness refreshing. Don’t really care that it may hurt others’ feelings. Secretly sensitive. Doesn’t like to be wrong. Can rarely admit defeat or confess to being wrong. May retaliate or be emotionally or verbally aggressive or abusive. Emotional bullies sometimes.
When someone’s planets fall into your 12th house, they can bring you either intense pain or intense healing. Either way, they will have a remarkable, life-changing impact on your life. They can cause you to suffer greatly or lift you up and save you from your own demons. They can worsen your demons and trigger you or cause you to self-destruct, or you can self-destruct in the process of trying to save them. You may seclude yourself. They may jeopardize your emotional and physical safety and isolate you from loved ones. You may follow them into the rabbit-hole like Alice in Wonderland, into the abyss, a downward spiral, a storm, a cliff, the unknown, the wild/wilderness, the tornado of doom, a sea of blackness, sucked into the void or black hole, and be swallowed utterly, never found or recovered. They may suffocate your light or life. With this placement, it is common to see partners stuck in abusive or codependent relationships. Partners may enable each other or do drugs together or stifle each other’s growth. Uranus in the 4th or 7th house in synastry is very erratic. Relationships may be very unstable. Can begin or end very abruptly. May be love at first sight. Partners may change gradually after the honeymoon period. When it’s good, it’s good, when it’s bad, it’s really bad type of situation. Relationship may be on and off or fraught with struggle. May be limiting or controlling. Partners may restrict or suppress one another’s freedom, or alternatively, crave too much freedom or independence. Home life for the couple may be always changing, always moving houses, etc. May relocate. Move in together. Break up. Date other people. Get back together. Move in again. Break up within a couple of months. Rinse and repeat. A vicious cycle. Can’t seem to make it work/stay together or stay broken up/apart. Can’t live with one another or without one another. Separate often. May stay stuck in this pattern until one of them permanently moves on or marries someone else. Taurus suns, Aries moons, or some Pisces suns, especially those with Aries Venus, may treat their partners as their property: mine. They can’t handle feeling like someone else is moving in on their territory or watching someone they know hang out or spend time with someone they think is theirs and theirs only. They hate to share. May be controlling at times. Taurus moons may treat their partners as prizes to show off. May be proud of them. Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio moons like to show off their partners, but may also be intensely private & protect or guard their relationship from the world & be less public. They may rarely talk about their partners publicly or publicly express or demonstrate support for them. Scorpio moons may have anger issues or unresolved emotional wounds and trauma that manifest themselves in and hinder or ruin/damage their relationships. They have a difficult time working through past hurts and traumas instead of allowing them to ruin their future. Like Taurus, Cancer, Aries, & Gemini suns, Scorpio moons may benefit from anger management. Virgo suns and Scorpio moons never get over anything that has ever happened to them. They have a long and unforgiving memory. May find it difficult to move forward & manage anger & grief; may be stuck in the past. Scorpio moons may plot & be cunning, more conniving than most, with the exception of Scorpio midheavens. Need to control their image & the public’s perception of them. May do certain actions and say certain controversial words for publicity or attention, like Gemini suns or Pisces moons. May feel like their partner’s successes are their own. Share resources. Spend money easily. Shower & spoil those they love. Intense relationship with the mother, for positive or negative. Emotionally in pain a lot. Damaged by life. Chip on the shoulder. Are very socially adept, cognizant, emotionally attuned to how others feel. Can manipulate the feelings of others to benefit them. Makes power moves. Constantly seeks to elevate & transform themselves & reinvent their image. Hates to sugarcoat & walk on eggshells.
Scorpio moons have a hard time letting people go, even if they’re not sure they still love them. They’re terrified of losing people because of their deep-seeded abandonment issues: they may cling to dying relationships forever or until they find the right person for them. May be addicted to toxic or high-drama, high-intensity, high-conflict relationships or high-maintenance, jealous or possessive partners. May treat their partners as possessions. May be very jealous and possessive themselves. May be addicted to pain and drama. May be masochists or sadists in love. Love can be fought for. Love can be violent. Love can be passionate. Love can be punishment. Love can be destructive. Love can be addictive. May confuse obsession and addiction & infatuation for love. Obsessed with partners. Love-and-hate relationships. May vacillate between craving their partners and needing to be around them and despising them and feeling suffocated by them and needing to get away. May feel the urge to bed other people while in a relationship. Highly sexual beings: hypersexual at times. Obsessed with sex or physical touch. Need/desire/crave intimacy. Feel intense longings sometimes that they often succumb to. Pleasure-seeking. Likes instant gratification. May be easily aroused or stimulated. Searches for pleasure & more pleasure. Desire often shows in eyes. Makes intense, direct eye contact to express interest or desire. Has stare contests with potential lovers. Fall in love with potential. Gets invested & can’t let go. Intense. Strong, uncontrollable sexual tension/chemistry with partner or bedmates. Emotional connection: needs a strong bond to connect with others emotionally. May feel intensely sexually or physically attracted to their partners or others while in a relationship and has to suppress the instinct or not act on it. May cheat or feel the urge to because of intense sexual cravings they can’t control. May confuse lust for love. Some may suffer from sex addiction, like some Scorpio suns. May like taboo & be sexually deviant or experimental. Likes to explore their sexuality. Gets crushes. Likes a challenge. Nothing is off-limits. No holds barred. Need an aspect of pain, drama, intensity & devotion in their relationships. Need to feel everything & anything, whether it’s good or bad. Addicted to feeling. Highs and lows. Emotional rollercoasters: relationships are. Emotionally unstable themselves. Attracted to people who ground them, or alternatively, fuel their emotional chaos: lead to explosions. Can be dangerous. Need people but can’t stand to need them. Want them at their beck & call. Want partners to feel like they can’t live without them. All or nothing. May feel desperation. Can’t bear to lose. Hate to beg or apologize. Might use people sexually to fill up a void or get over someone else. Never quite get over their exes. Often have a ex that they think is the one that got away. Hate being lonely. Can’t handle being alone unless they initiate it. Either will never to back to an ex or will go back a 1000 times. May have periods where they fall out or don’t speak to partners, then abruptly get back together. Partners may get revenge on one another or attempt to get each other back or one-up each other: tit-for-tat kind of situation. May play games. May test partners to examine their loyalty or the depth of their love. May ask how much they love them or are willing to sacrifice. May keep secrets from their partners. May hide or lie about their pasts or omit important info their partners should know or be privy to. Intimidated by the thought of their partner moving on for good & starting a life or family without them & not belonging to them. Want their ex to always be there for them or close. May attempt to damage their partner’s reputation or control the narrative of them like Cancer suns if a relationship ends badly & they feel scorned or wronged by their partners. May publicly degrade, badmouth, demean, insult, or verbally confront them, directly or indirectly. Virgo & Cap suns get stressed out/nervous easily.
Neptune conjunct Venus in synastry gives you rose-colored glasses. You are incapable of seeing your partners for who they really are, their worse or negative qualities. You idealize them, place them on a pedestal, think they are the best thing that ever happened to you. You can be swindled by them, romantically or financially. You can be enchanted by them, so much you become lost in them. There’s something that prevents you from observing them as through a microscope or telescope, something that obscures your vision and prevents you from looking in. They may be deceptive. You may love them more than they love you. You may be addicted to your partners or in love with the idea of love itself. You may chase the fairytale or fantasy. Capricorn suns show love through gifts, often very practical, useful gifts, or even elaborate, luxurious ones. They often befit you with what you really desire, or with what you don’t even realize is important but end up appreciating later, like a watch or wool coat. A sock or candle that reminds you of your late mother, etc. Chiron in synastry often helps heal people from wounds & aids recovery from trauma or experiences of emotional or physical victimization. May positively change or impact an individual’s life. Saturn in synastry bestows longevity. Relationships may be very stable, long-lasting. Tight bond. Can endure ups and downs. Firm foundation. Partners whose placements conjunct one’s south node in synastry tend to be there as karmic lessons to people. They demonstrate what they need to let go of & heal from; they remind people of past wounds or lessons not learned in a previous lifetime. They are often representative of obstacles or difficulties an individual must encounter to come into their own & learn valuable tools in life. They can show them what they need to improve on & heal within themselves so they can stop attracting individuals such as those into their life. Can be indicators of woe. Strong Neptune or Pisces or Gemini or Sagittarius influence/mutable energy may have psychic or mental breakdowns; Virgo placements can suffer from this as well due to chronic worry & neuroticism. Capricorn, Virgo, Aquarius & Sag placements are the most neurotic. In addition to Pisces, these placements are also the most melancholic. Scorpio moons may struggle to manage/deal/cope with their emotions effectively. May fear closeness with and estrangement from others. May be very emotionally vindictive but precious. Love hard. Cancer suns often have meltdowns/temper tantrums, very aggressive, out of control, argumentative. Love deeply. Nostalgic like Libra suns. Pisces/Gemini suns/moons can be very delusional: Pisces & Virgo Venus can be very deluded in love. Virgo moons may struggle to reconcile their selves with who they think they should/ought/have to be. Can dream of their future self or aspire to be the best versions of themselves instead of accepting who they are in the present. Cancer suns & moons, Leo risings, & Taurus midheavens may constantly victimize themselves/play up the victim role hoping someone will save them. May be deceptive, emotionally manipulative & immature. May manufacture their image & lie or fabricate claims to the public: prone to public breakdowns. Constantly make excuses for their actions/failure to live up to the high standards they set for themselves/the high expectations of others. Obsessed with control. Controlling. Jealous. Demanding. High maintenance & proud of it. Clingy. Showy. Guilt-trips a lot, wants you to feel bad for them. Sympathy ploys. Drowns in self-pity at times. Moody. Addicted to drama. Wants to be the star/center of the show but claims to hate the spotlight. False modesty. Pretentious & vain at times. Bad or entitled attitude. Their life is often falling apart. Always in crisis. Despairs easily. Not receptive to criticism. Doesn’t respond well. Wants to be adored by the public. Craves fame, idolatry, validation. Needs to feel like the best or most beautiful. May be spoiled. The queen bee or drama queen or princess. Dramatic breakups.
North node aspects to Venus or sun or Saturn in synastry may make you feel like that person is your soulmate or twin flame. They intimately get you, mirror you, or are the other half of you or other version of you in some way. They may remind you of your humanity. May feel like home or like you’ve known them before in a past life and were married or somehow intimately involved.

Astro Notes Part II
Scorpio moons are also slow and resistant to change so it’s not uncommon to hear them say someone is “dead to me” or warn someone not to “burn your bridges” with them. Many also push people away a lot in relationships or hurt them either on purpose, as a way to test them and see if they are worthy of them or gauge how much they can push them or how loyal they are, or unintentionally, because they are scarred from their past and jaded on life and love because they have been hurt or abandoned before. I’ve also noticed many have issues with emotional intimacy or love or outright reject both, saying they never want to fall in love. Many believe love is a trap, love brings pain and suffering, or love is hopeless, so they avoid it at all costs or sabotage it when they come across or encounter it. Self-sabotage is one of the greatest setbacks for Scorpio moons, the other is vices. They are self-indulgent in their habits. They have to work extremely hard to overcome both. But it takes a lot of discipline and patience, and these virtues don’t come easy or without hard work. The issue is that many don’t seem to want to heal these wounds or find another method of coping that isn’t so damaging or destructive or reckless. They don’t like to inhibit their desires. They don’t like to feel controlled by other people or told what to do. When people try to help them, they see this is pity or their own sign of weakness. They get defensive, even if someone’s just trying to help. They often lash out or hurt someone’s feelings for doing so. They resent feeling pitied or weak or indebted to someone. They never want to feel they owe someone. I’ve also noticed a lot of Scorpio moons keep heavy secrets, for instance, criminal pasts or memories/experiences of victimization, including sexual assault, especially for women. They have walls built sky-high and they are very hard to penetrate. Their defenses are almost always up and they are very emotionally guarded people. Some have trust issues or are resistant to closeness and intimacy with others. They fear it and attachment. Many suffer from this internal state of void or emptiness, which they use vices such as drugs or overworking to fill or mask. Many wears masks/facades so people don’t see the real them. I’ve also noticed a lot of Scorpio moons have a resistance to therapy or rehabilitation or other conventional, accepted methods of healing and recovering from certain conditions. They seem to think it is a waste of time or an invasion or violation of their privacy. While they do have a difficult time trusting people, once they do, they do for life, unless their trust is betrayed in some way. They can be some of the most thoughtful and caring and loyal people. They are incredibly devoted to the people they do care about. They are very resilient and strong and dependable. They are not very mean, though, they may appear hard and cold. They are actually like teddy bears on the inside if they let you in. Of course, this is not to say all Scorpio moons are super intense or suffer from traumatic pasts or psychic wounds. This is just from what I’ve observed.
I’ve noticed Scorpios, sun or moon, tend to have issues with a parent or both parents, commonly the mother for women Scorpio suns. For men with Scorpio moons, I’ve noticed there tends to be a dysfunctional relationship with the mother who was either too controlling or too dependent emotionally on her son. There was a lot of conflict with the mother at home, some type of power struggle, some issue with authority, and many, if not careful, end up repeating this pattern with their other relationships with females in terms of romantic relationships. I’ve also noticed a lot of Scorpio moons who don’t have a difficult relationship with their mother have an non-relationship with their father. He was either absent, abusive or dead. Many felt abandoned by their father or didn’t have many male role models or family figures in their life. And if they did, it wasn’t pleasant, such as an abusive stepfather. For Scorpio moons, it seems the trauma starts at a young age, in childhood. I’ve also noticed many had difficult home lives, like their parents were poor or struggling or they grew up not feeling safe or loved, were bullied at school, were ill a lot, weren’t probably nurtured or nourished, etc. Many grew up way too young and had to become very independent at a young age for the sake of survival. Either to get out of an oppressive or abusive home situation or get out of poverty or simply move away for other issues. The family environment was one of dysfunction, financially or physically and emotionally. It was chaotic. Many grew up in an environment wherein they were not sheltered or protected and were exposed to the indignities of life, for example, homelessness, domestic violence, poverty, drugs, cancer/major illness, bullying, etc. In addition, many felt stifled or restricted by their parents. Many felt they either had to step into the role of the parent and mature, parenting their own parent, or parenting their siblings, unless they were an only child. Many grew up too fast and had to shoulder on a great deal of responsibility because the adults in their life couldn’t or were lacking. Many had to step into the role of provider and scour for employment to support the family. Some Scorpio placements try too hard to seem deep or “mysterious.” They purposefully don’t reveal certain traits about themselves to appear as enigmas. It can be forced. Like Cancers, Scorpios need a lot of drama and excitement in their love lives to stay interested, so do Aries, but they prefer the playful variety as opposed to the kind of serious, dramatic fallouts and bitter, ugly, nasty, vindictive breakups Scorpios and Cancers are used to having with their partners. Aquarius, too, like the latter can be very spiteful and messy in their relationships and may stir the pot a bit to see if they still care about their partners or determine whether the relationship is one worth saving or staying in. They may dispose of partners easily if they decide others are not worth their time, and quite callously or ruthlessly, too. Problems tend to simmer for a while, however, before they leave their partners. Capricorn women are incredibly loyal to their partners. Capricorn suns are very loyal in general. In love, Libras, Capricorns, and Virgos are the most loyal while Virgos are the most faithful. Aquarius and Sagittarius and sometimes Scorpio, Libra, or Leo men are probably the least faithful. Cancer, Aquarius, Scorpio, and Taurus men may be the quickest to move on physically into a new relationship and the slowest or last to move on emotionally, still holding a small flame or carrying relatively large feelings for their exes. They move on to forget and replace. Relationships may have overlap. Libra, Cancer, and Pisces women may be the slowest to move on emotionally or heal from past hurts. Fire signs may move on fast in general, both emotionally and physically, especially Leo, but Aries and Sagittarius, too, for both men and women.
Pisces suns tend to have issues with sleep, in the form of sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, etc. I’ve noticed they’re not very realistic. They’re very dreamy and ephemeral. They emote a lot. You’re unlikely to get concrete advice or solutions or answers from them like you would a Virgo. They will not give you objectivity. They will give you subjective answers and abstract questions to consider. They’re the type to answer a question with another question. They enjoy flipping the script and making you think less and feel more. They are pulled to water, from what I’m noticing. Many have a connection to the ocean or to the sea or even the swimming pool. They may love to shower or take luxurious baths or swim. Water is healing and integral for them. Alternatively, some may be afraid of water/bodies of water. They may hate fishing or boating or fear drowning in the ocean or pool. Although, I’ve noticed many Pisces like rain, either the weather itself, or the sound or smell of rain in particular. They may also enjoy thunderstorms. Sometimes they appear distant. They are probably daydreaming. This is not an act of boredom but an act of restoration and reinvigoration for them. They need to dream to live. Some are prone to escapism. I’ve noticed there is an elegant quality to them, especially in writing, particularly for Pisces risings and Pisces mercury placements. They can communicate in truly breathtakingly beautiful ways. They can mesmerize with their words. They have a beauty and elegance to them that is rare, electrifying, they can dazzle or intimidate. Even when they are withering, they may be heartwrenchingly or gutwrenchingly beautiful, feral even to observe. They have a certain grace and musicality to them. An edge. They’re poetic. They are often artists or poets or musicians and dancers, but all seem to be creatives. This applies to Pisces sun, Venus, Mercury, and Ascendant. There is something enthralling or enchanting about them that draws people in like a spell. In some ways, I think they are more magnetic than Scorpio risings. There’s something deeply intriguing and fascinating about them that makes people want to intimately know or study or attach themselves to them. Pisces placements are natural enigmas, the true enigmas. They are genuinely enigmatic. Unlike certain Scorpio placements, they don’t manufacture or exacerbate or play up to it. Pisces placements also have very intense or vivid dreams. Some struggle with escapism or drug dependency, including pills or marijuana and other substances. They may misuse or abuse drugs, even prescribed ones. They may also have an intolerance for drugs, including anesthesia. Anything that numbs them can be hard to digest or consume or tolerate. Even at the dentist or for a surgical procedure, they may have issues with anesthesia. They may prefer holistic or complementary and alternative medicine to medicinal drugs and remedies. They may be easily sick or prone to disease. They have difficulty relaxing or self-soothing. Pisces placements are also prone to migraines and feet problems, body aches or leg pains. There is some issue with the feet or blood circulation in the lower extremities, as I have observed, especially for Pisces suns or risings. Pisces moons are often sickly and catch disease easily. Virgo suns tend to experience tension in their abdomen or upper stomach or chest region when stressed or anxious. May have issues digestion food when experiencing anxiety symptoms. Somatic symptoms of health may be common.
Pisces and Virgo placements are some of the kindest, most emphatic people you’ll ever meet. They are often in service to/serve other people. They are very caring, nurturing, and supportive. Pisces in a friendly way and Virgos in a very maternal way because they are the maiden. They are your “mom friends.” Both Virgo and Pisces placements are self-sacrificing, there is very little they won’t do for people, even if it wears them down and they don’t get much in return. They hate to see people in pain or suffering. They attempt to ease and heal others and attend to their concerns, Pisces in a very emotional, immaterial way, and Virgos in both an emotional and material, pragmatic way. They will solve your problems, help you find solutions, write you letters or cards and make you cookies, get you the items you needs physically, and psychically heal you. They will listen to you and advise you. Pisces will primarily hear you and be there for you and share their feelings with you. They will mainly psychically heal you. Virgo suns, Venus, Risings can very much be sacrificial lambs, especially in love. They like to feel useful. Virgo Venus, to their detriment, loves to the point of self-sacrifice and self-flagellation. It takes forever for them to fall out of love and recognize the ways in which their kindness is being taken for granted. They give more than take and often end up alone, feeling like they are the shortcomings, when they are in fact the gift, the blessings. Virgo placements, when stressed/anxious or nervous, tend to become physically sick. They may experience headaches or stomach bugs or ulcers. Otherwise, they are generally in good health. They tend to be neurotic and self-disciplined and self-controlled, selfless and hard working/diligent, dedicated to their studies. They are very morally inclined and strongly principled. They are also very creative and not just scientifically or mathematically inclined as they are said to be. They are very intelligent and resourceful and thorough in their tasks. They are high-strung, ambitious, highly motivated, detail-oriented perfectionists. They thrive in the arts. They prefer the background to the limelight. They are very spiritual. They tend not to believe in God or religion. A lot of Virgo suns are hypochondriacs and distrust or avoid medicine. They often avoid/resist Big Pharma/Pharmaceuticals & taking psychiatric medicine even though they are highly anxious, high-strung & easily stressed individuals. They always take on more than they can handle & push past/defy their limits. They don’t know how to practice self-care and relax, though, they are always checking on others’ welfare. Virgos, like, Libras, constantly put others/others’ needs above themselves. They place themselves secondary or even tertiary instead of primary. They secretly have nervous breakdowns due to their neuroticism, but no one knows it. They aren’t very clean or hygienic, although they are germphobes: they are messy and disorganized. They hate irresponsible or lazy or forgetful people who don’t work hard or keep their promises. They love being solitary and working alone. Solitude is important to them. They hate working in groups & being around people drains and de-energizes them. Energy (of the surrounding environment) destabilizes/decenters them. Pisces and Virgo risings are stunningly pretty, Pisces risings in a graceful, soft, subtle, indiscriminate way and Virgo risings in an in-your-face, bold, discriminate, striking way. Both are compelling to look at. Both may be unconventionally pretty. Both have gorgeous eyes that people can get lost in. Virgo risings tend to have ocean eyes and wide hips. They are often lauded as the most beautiful/prettiest and sexually attractive. Virgo suns and Pisces risings feel a deep despondency with the world and throughout their life, often suffer from deep/major depression. Virgo moons & Pisces suns tend to go through periods of light/chronic depression. It is often triggered by feelings of inadequacy, desolation or disappointment, & other distressing life events.
Virgos and Capricorn are Type A. Total workhorses, the workaholics of the zodiac. Scorpio is Type A. So is Cancer. Libra appears Type B but is Type A. Aquarius, Sagittarius, Pisces, Taurus, Gemini & Aries are Type B. Leo appears Type B but is Type A. Virgos and Pisces are the most interested/likely to believe in astrology. Capricorns and Aquarians are the biggest skeptics. Aries and Libra, Virgo and Pisces, Taurus & Scorpio, Gemini & Sagittarius, Leo & Aquarius are sister signs; in dating, Taurus & Scorpio and Gemini & Sagittarius seem to last the longest. Aries & Libra & Aquarius & Scorpio are common in friendships.
Signs four signs away from each other are said to be the most compatible but I’ve noticed signs two signs away from each other seem the most compatible; for instance, Virgo and Scorpio; Leo & Libra, Aries & Gemini, Taurus & Cancer, Gemini & Leo, Libra & Sagittarius, Scorpio & Capricorn, Sagittarius & Aquarius, Aquarius & Aries. Virgo-Leo and Virgo-Cancer don’t get along as well as Pisces-Aquarius or Scorpio-Sagittarius. Libra and Scorpio actually are a fantastic combo; they love each other with an unrivaled devotion and unconditional love, whether romantic-wise or friendship-wise or in terms of the relationship between parent and child.
Virgo and Pisces placements tend to feel emotionally stifled at home. They don’t feel heard or seen or validated or acknowledged. They don’t feel important or feel as though they matter. They don’t feel cared for or appreciated. They feel under-appreciated or misunderstood, marginalized even. They may feel like the black sheep of the family. Their childhood could be very bleak and sad, hopeless and demoralizing. It may taint their outlook on life. Pisces moons feel so much that they can become overwhelmed at times. When they do, they can lash out with the vindictiveness of a Scorpio moon. They can also wallow in sentimental feelings or self-pity when they get stuck in their emotions. Cancer suns as mothers tend to have a relationship with their children wherein the child is the parent in the relationship and they are the child. They tend to be very childish, rather than being the grown-up in the situation, so their children often have to act as the adult and therefore take on a lot of responsibility at a young age; Cancer sun women as mothers can handicap their children by making them feel responsible for their emotions if they’re not careful. They can also be emotionally draining and demanding, which can place strain between the parent-child later on in life. They are most likely to pass on the mother wound to their children, besides negatively afflicted Scorpio women. Cancer suns may not have the best grasp on their children’s emotional needs because they’re too blinded by or concerned with their own. Like Leo suns, they can be self-absorbed, while lacking self-awareness. Alternatively, Cancer suns have a strong desire to please their mothers and keep their friends happy or appeal to their partners; like Aquarius, they feel a strong loyalty to their friends. Libras or Capricorn sun women may be helicopter parents. Aquarius or Sagittarius, and sometimes Gemini women, tend to give their children the most freedom because it is equally important to them, however, at times, like Pisces, they can become emotionally absent or unreliable caretakers because they are so accustomed to their own freedom and wouldn’t dare compromise it for anything, not even for their children (or their children’s sake). Their need for independence and total autonomy or agency (at all times) is rooted in a desire for control/the ability to commandeer or control the situation, which can sometimes make them lose sight of what’s important. They can appear detached, flippant, remote or apathetic and uncaring or cold and insensitive, vain even, at times. Leo suns and moons and Capricorn suns can project their own desires into their children to their own ailment. This can cause their children a lot of grief, as they may feel like they’re not in control of their own destiny and have to live by their parents’ rules or conform to their expectations and partake in the activities their parents enjoy but weren’t able to excel at in order to make them happy. Children of these signs want to make their parents proud more than anything, but this desire can prevent them from finding their own path. They may have a crisis later in life when they realize they don’t know who they are. The person they want to be is often shaped by those parental influences. Learning their own goals and hobbies that suit them and developing a personality that isn’t reflective of their parents can often be difficult or a struggle for them. Furthermore, it may make them restless or cause them to develop resentment or anger for their parents later in life.
Leo suns may have an insecure or overly clingy attachment to their children or vise versa. Leo suns want to be a name in their own right. They desire merit, not just attention. They care about building & cementing their legacy. Leos, Scorpios, Libras, and Capricorns, and Capricorn-dominant Aquarians care about their brand/image and solidifying a lasting reputation. Taurus, Leos, Cancers, and Libras are the most vain. Leos, Libras, and Virgos, then Scorpios and Capricorns and sometimes Aquarius are the most image-conscious, the former in a superficial way (looks/appearance-based) and the latter in an abstract way (concepts/ideas) or via concern for their orientation and perception in the world and recognition they can achieve through their external airs, presentation, work/art, or outlook. Cancers are the most envious, rather than Leos. They suffer the most from envy/jealousy. Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius suns fear intimacy, vulnerability, connection, attachment, and love, especially Virgo and Scorpio. Capricorns as well, but to a lesser degree/extent. Virgos and Scorpios value privacy and secrecy & self-control above all. They are the most private and mysterious of the zodiac. They are the hardest to read, figure out, open up, and get to know, Aquarius being a close follow-up. Also Pisces, because you never know their true form and they are very vague and ambiguous. Virgos and Scorpios both find it hard to forgive and neither forget nor forgive/hold grudges. Pisces are the runner-ups in terms of being enigmatic. Aquarius, Sagittarius & Pisces are conspiracy theorists. They are often liberal. Capricorn believes/has faith in government and traditional principles and tends to lean conservative. Virgos can hold a grudge just as much as Scorpios can. They’re also just as obsessive, Virgo moon and Venus placements more so than Virgo sun. Cancers are just as obsessed, if not more obsessed with revenge and emotional annihilation manipulation than Scorpios. Cancers are the queens and kings of emotional revenge; Scorpios are the princes and princesses. Virgo suns are passionate lovers. Capricorn mars or Venus, like Scorpio Venus, can be obsessed with sex and pleasure or instant gratification. Although, Scorpio Venus prefers a chase/desires to chase their partners because it’s a challenge to them & they don’t want an easy partner or boring relationship. Aquarians don’t like boring or safe, timid or clingy partners. Aries Moon and Venus like to be chased. Cancers, Scorpios, Aries & Taurus in love are possessive. Geminis and Virgos in love are obsessive. Leos and Libras are both possessive and obsessive when in love. Aquarians and Sagittarians plus Virgos and Capricorns in love are devoted, but at times distant when they get scared—they may pull back from the relationship. They hate to feel dependent on someone or feel like they can’t live with someone. Pisces and Libra tend to idealize/romanticize their partners, as well as Virgo or Pisces Venus. Aquarius, Libra, Pisces, and Cancers are the most likely to go back to exes, Aquarius because they get bored or tired of their partners easily but also get tired of being single and unattached, the rest because they tend to stay in love. Leos and Aquarians may return to old relationships but not because the love or passion is still there but more because they don’t want to be alone. Virgo venuses struggle not to feel lonely in relationships with people who make them feel lonely or insecure, and tend to date partners they try to fix or heal. They can get hurt this way. So can Libra mars or venuses. Libras fear censure or reproach more than anything. They fear negative public opinion or appraisal of them. So do Cancers. Geminis secretly desperately want to be liked & accepted for all of their eccentricities, so when their eccentrics make them an outcast, they are badly hurt because they feel rejected, unaccepted, unliked or underappreciated.
Water Risings (Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer) tend to be captivating, spellbinding, or mesmerizing to look at. Their eyes, especially, are enchanting. They are often pronounced, striking/stunning, and really pretty. Pisces risings are ethereal and enchantingly beautiful.

ASTRO NEWS
Upcoming events:
Lunar eclipse on June 5th, 2020 in 15 degrees Sagittarius (will affect everyone but especially mutable placements, Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius). Full moon @ 3:12 p.m. EDT. Effects can be felt on June 6th.
Lunar eclipse on July 4th (American Independence Day), 2020 in 13 degrees Capricorn. Full moon @ 12:44 a.m. EDT on July 5th, 2020. Eclipses that fall on a full moon typically have larger scale repercussions because full moons signify endings/something coming to a close. I wonder what this means for America, especially in the midst of a crisis and a large scale public response to the viruses of Covid-19 and racism. Hopefully there is some kind of positive resolution, but I’m leaning toward negative at the time being, just based on a preliminary assessment of the transits at this time. This eclipse will affect everyone, especially cardinal placements (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn). Be mindful of that fact that the transits at this time mirror, astrologically, the transits that occurred on 9/11, 19 years ago.
Solar eclipse on June 21, 2020 (energy will be felt on June 20th as well). New moon @ 2:41 a.m. EDT in 0 degrees Cancer. Cardinal signs should be particularly mindful (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn).
Super New Moon on October 16, 2020 at 3:31 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) in 23 degrees Libra (how fitting!). Cardinal signs (Libra, Aries, Cancer, Capricorn) should feel this heavily.
Lunar eclipse on November 29, 2020. Full moon on November 30, 2020 @ 4:30 a.m. EST in 8 degrees Gemini. Mutable placements (Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo) will likely be the most impacted.
Total Solar eclipse on December 14, 2020 @ 11:16 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) in 23 degrees Sagittarius. New moon. Mutable placements will be strongly affected (Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius).
The following events will happen a long time from now in the future, but be on the look out!
March/April 2021: retrograde Pluto conjoins the natal Pluto of the U.S.A.
May 26, 2021: total eclipse of the moon
June 10, 2021: solar eclipse
November 19, 2021: lunar eclipse
December 4, 2021: total eclipse of the sun
February 19, 2022: The U.S. experiences its Pluto return in Capricorn (think American Revolution—is there potential for not just riots, but civil rebellion again?) On February 20th, Pluto will be direct. Side effects will be strong in March 2022.
July 11, 2022: The U.S. experiences its Pluto return in Capricorn while Pluto is retrograde (think civil uprising, what happened over 250 years ago, when Americans won their independence). Lingering effects will be felt in September 2022.
December 29, 2022: The U.S. experiences its Pluto return for the third time. Pluto is direct.
Note: I will update this post as we draw closer to the events listed.

Notes on Creativity and Mercury (Intelligence) versus 1st House, 10th House, 6th and 3rd Houses
This is unpopular but I don’t think Mercury or the third house has anything to do with your writing style, I think your rising sign/ascendant and midheaven speak volumes about your communication style, verbally and in the written form, while the 6th house can also show you not just how you express, but how you invent ideas. It demonstrates your creative capacity and your creative fruition, while the 1st house is related to your imagination and more which I will touch on later. I think your Mercury has more to do with your writing or cognitive process and your approach to mental faculties, such as the way in which you decipher information and break it down (think of the cogs in a spinning wheel), essentially, Mercury is more related to how your brain functions, while your sixth house has to do with your creative process and idea generation. Your third house has to do with the manner in which you demonstrate such processes. Your first house is expressive of how you generate outward and inner energy or how exude yourself, both of which are related to your subjectivity; thus, it is related to your expression of ideas and your writing or creative quality; it is emblematic of your voice. Your writer’s voice, your creative voice, and your personal voice. The quality of your voice is related to your writing’s subjectivity. Your tenth house indicates your intellectual process and intake of ideas. It represents your artistic integrity and creative freedom. Your soul shines in your 1st house, including the soul of your work, which is mirrored in a writer’s subjectivity or an artist’s voice or a creator’s style/formula/blueprint. The ascendant and midheaven, together, determine the creative essence of a person.
For instance, someone with an Aries rising may have more of a blunt and to the point/straightforward communication style and their dialogue may be witty and a bit-scattered and all over the place, though their tone is direct, if they have a Gemini third house, while also thinking or creative methodically and steadily if they have a Virgo sixth house and writing in a very business-like way or writing for business or legal concerns (i.e. writing legal briefs, letters of recommendations, grants, emails to the CEO) if they have a Capricorn midheaven. An Aries rising with a Leo Mercury might think big and bold and have ambitious ideas and take on large-scale projects or projects that require a lot of energy and movement and place them in leadership roles because of the influence of Leo/the Sun.
Another example is this: a Pisces rising may write in a very mystical or complex, even self-transcendent way while appealing to pathos. Because of your Sagittarius midheaven, you may write in a very philosophical, didactic, knowledgeable nature, and your writing may be embroidered with your ideologies and empowered by your morality [system]. As a Sag midheaven, you may write to feel free of something (including a feeling or situation), write to help others attain a sense of freedom/independence (i.e. write about social injustice and social problems that plague the world), or dedicate your work to creative forces that help you feel idealistic, socially conscious/aware, principled, and wise. You may struggle or feel trapped or blocked (perhaps even creatively) when you feel as though you are bound by rules or duties/obligations that stifle your creative freedom. Your sense of self may translate/come across very strong in your writing and you may be very opinionated. As a Pisces rising and Sag midheaven, you may not write in a formal way, preferring informal methods of communication. You may also prefer nonverbal cues and communication to verbal communication. But you may be a powerful orator or speech writer. You are less inclined to argue about statistics or facts (logos) and more likely to appeal to pathos (emotion) due to your water rising and ethos (humanity/society/nation) due to your Sag midheaven. A creative enterprise is one that helps you tap into your inner child due to your Leo sixth house, and you are likely to have lofty goals in the workplace that you set for yourself. Your creativity process is one that is predicated on your ability to be as honest and electric and in charge as possible. You may take on a certain persona or character due to the influence of your rising. Your rhetoric may also be infused with a sense of conviction and identity that is sharp and unrivaled due to your Leo 6th house, but your writing and work may also be very ego-driven, and perhaps even, abrasive, at times. At the same time, you may be endowed with a wealth of creative ideas and prowess as a Leo 6th house and Sag midheaven, and may be very generous in your ideas and prolific in your writing. Your ideas and inventions or creative applications may be warmly received, and even considered dominant, since your Leo 6th house makes your expressive style very charismatic. You will be very protective of them: your ideas and creative works. You may have a brave voice. What is fun to you is what allows you to be celebrated and acknowledged, especially in terms of achievements/accomplishments. A sense of pride and ambition follows you and consumes you and your work. As a Pisces rising, your conscience shines in your work.
As a Sag midheaven, your imaginative capacity is limitless. You may be very stubborn in your ideas and powerful in your speech, assertive, warm, and enticed by the ideals of beauty and magnificence or opulence due to having Taurus in the 3rd house. Your work is reflective or inspired by what you find beautiful or ugly in this world. As a Pisces rising, your work may be considered virtuous and enchanting by others who may see in your work aspects of themselves and qualities they wish to see in the world. If your Mercury is in Virgo, for example, your writing has a certain formula; this is not to say you are a formulaic writer, it just means you incorporate certain elements religiously/fervently across all of your works/universally. Your thought process is very thorough and your cognition requires a sense of perfection which makes you very detail-oriented and concerned with looking at the small parts of a whole to piece together the full picture. You are disciplined and practical in your application. Your style of information processing is analytical. You gather and make sense of data as if you are doing research; you are like a scientist, slow and deliberate and intensive. Your thoughts are precise. If you’re a Pisces rising, universality will be a theme in your work because you have the ability to make universal messages as your rising sign is related universal consciousness. A Virgo Mercury makes you concerned with objective facts while a Pisces rising makes you considered with the subjective reality. As a Virgo Mercury, you are dedicated to trying to refine and critically assess who you are. Virgos are concerned with refinement, while Pisces and Virgo are both committed to betterment for the sake of humanity. As a Pisces rising, you’re trying to redefine who you are. As a Cancer Mercury and Pisces rising, your work and creative essence is likely to be considered with what is sustainable as a Sag midheaven and freeing, but also with what makes you feel at home in the world or makes you feel emotionally safe and secure. As a Cancer Mercury, you are instinctively clued in to what others need to feel content and what makes people distressed, angry, unhappy or uncomfortable. You are very good at managing people and their moods. You are able to sway or easily influence their judgments. While you don’t assess as a Virgo Mercury does (for Virgo Mercuries have a primary mode of assessment), you internalize like them, you perceive. You know what makes people tick and how to fix it. You know how to make people feel all warm and bubbly inside (or more irritable, lol). You can sense and intuit people’s moods, body language, affects/emotions states, attitudes, etc. You can study someone’s posture or face and instantly know/determine how they are feeling. You are very receptive to people’s moods and energies as a Water Mercury, and you have the ability, also, to shape or manipulate people’s mood (for better or worse). Your gift lies in your attachment and your seductive reasoning and relationship skills. This is where your intelligence lies and you are most masterful, in terms of applying your wisdom of people and directing your acquired knowledge into shaping [beneficial] outcomes for yourself and others. As a Sag midheaven, you are a natural scholar. You are constantly aspiring toward greater consciousness.
As a Pisces AC and Sagittarius MC, you may tend to feel lost in the world, and struggle to feel grounded or centered, so the influence of your Cancer Mercury may help you establish a sense of security via channels that offer you a way to be the boss or in charge and manage others while also placing you in the role of caretaker. You may be the manager or promoter or group leader or team builder. You may the first person who offers soft feedback or lends a hand or hug to someone feeling down in their creative abilities. Your own creative potential may be spurred by whatever drives you to feel connected to others. You may be the one installing a community mural. You may the one organizing a community food drive (Cancer placements thrive in the role of community organizer). You may be the lead creative director of an organization or the group’s facilitator or project manager. A lot of your energy and identity is gleaned from others, and you have an intimate underanding of your own needs that enables you to better understand others’ human needs. In your work, you may be the ‘mother’ or teacher to your colleagues and work inferiors. You thrive in challenging roles where you may find yourself offering or support or guidance because your intellect allows you to come up with creative solutions that helps keep the group happy and unified. Your skills are largely related to interpersonal intelligence, as opposed to how a Virgo rising, for example, may use scientific, logical, or spatial reasoning to solve problems. Your ability to work well in a group and direct others efficiently makes you an effective and trusted leader. Your creativity is limitless so long as you are always inspired to be of asset (to be needed), which makes you feel of need (to be creative for you is to be of need). Unlike Sagittarius Mercury, you are not your own island, Cancer Mercury, and your ability to be protective of others and provide yourself and them with knowledge and assistance creatively makes you indispensable. As a Pisces rising, you are constantly trying to elevate and transcend who you are.

Happy eclipse day! 2:38-2:41 a.m. EDT! Cancer Szn!
*this eclipse will be particularly intense because it falls in one of the critical degrees (0 degrees Cancer)
ASTRO NEWS
Upcoming events:
Lunar eclipse on June 5th, 2020 in 15 degrees Sagittarius (will affect everyone but especially mutable placements, Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius). Full moon @ 3:12 p.m. EDT. Effects can be felt on June 6th.
Mercury goes retrograde in Cancer on June 18, 2020
Solar eclipse on June 21, 2020 (energy will be felt on June 20th as well). New moon @ 2:41 a.m. EDT in 0 degrees Cancer. Cardinal signs should be particularly mindful (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn).
Venus goes direct on June 25, 2020

So the eclipse on June 5th is occurring while the Sun and Venus are in Gemini and the Moon is in Sagittarius (which is ruled by Mars), and the moon will be squaring Mars on that day. Prepare yourself for intense energy and conflict on both a micro and macro level. Outbursts may be common, provoked or unprovoked. It may be unclear what instigated it, but it will be sure to prompt a swift, and dramatic, if not violent reaction. My advice would be to avoid battles and disagreements because they could blow up and metamorph into very serious, potentially destructive episodes and lead to catastrophic changes and [negative] consequences. That being said, the cosmic energy is currently such that I, unfortunately, am expecting and dreading terrible events/sequence of events to occur during and after this period. The energy of the eclipse is longlasting, of course, so we will see the effects long after June 5th. Perhaps an exercise in caution is best at this time. Remember, it is not always safe to engage in your emotions when the environment does not support your engagement. I sense a lot of aggression will be unpacked for times to come. Very chaotic and raw, unbridled emotions/actions WILL lead to violence during this time.
