What we need to survive in this pandemic? I believe it's positivity and gratitude. Having these attitudes really help to cultivate other wonderful virtues like hope, faith and happiness. No matter what financial status we are in this world, we all have are own battles everyday, positivity helps us to hope that everything will be fall into place in a given time, and to still believe that our Creator with people who love us will always be there to help us and to strengthen us. Most importantly, no matter where we are, and who we are, we have to be grateful each day having the chance of life to be with the ones we love, to correct our wrongs, to reach our dreams, to plan our course to do what makes us happy. The only expensive thing we need to do all this is time. So give time to nourish yourself with good things, and to say thank you to the people who helps us and most of all to our Creator who is always there when you call Him.
If you have the time please click on my link and learn more about life and our wonderful creator by reading the bible or download any free spiritual materials that will help you stay positive and grateful.

SIMPLE TALK: A SHORT STORY TELLING & THE QUALITY THAT HELPS ME TO PURSUE MY PASSION.
Tumblr media
March 14, 2021
I have to talk about my passion. This thought made me asking myself” what is my passion?”, do I have something I really wanted to do in my life, the kind of thing I wanted to dedicate myself learning and doing it for the rest of my life?”. Scanning thru Instagram there are a lot of people who are good at something. There are painters, dancers, singers, poets and writers to name a few, but what about me? I do stuffs online, and photography is what makes me happy but I can’t say that this is the best thing about me, that it represents who I am. I can’t look myself and say I am a photographer. Back when I was a child I love drawing or painting landscape thru water colors, colored pencils and crayons. I remember asking my mother for colored pastels because they attract me of their textures and vibes when used by classmates. I also draw and designed all my projects in school, all are handmade and not to brag, I get a pretty good grade, I never dropped on 90% and as I grow I knew I can compete with it. That was the time I said to myself I wanted to be an artist. I wanted to paint, to draw I could see myself aging doing it but when my mother said, No, I have to focus in school, I didn’t feel the desire to do it even in my spare times, until I forgot about it. Then, I found myself writing poetries. Back then, I could write poetry about anything around me but most of them are romantics. I wanted to write about my feelings, my deepest emotions, my secrets so I say to myself I am going to be a writer. I also love literature and history. I love learning and reading, I can spend the rest of my day lying on my back with a coffee and just read and write. Poetry is my first love, but I also love writing stories. That’s when my love for movies came in. I really do love movies, and the thought that I go out to go to cinema with popcorns and drinks makes me excited. Whatever the genre, the Cinema makes me feel wonderful. Once, I said I wanted to be like Shakespeare but as I grow, I can’t say I wanted to be a fiction writer, nor a producer or a director. Back when I was a college student, I once signed up in a Film school to be a movie director but there was no fire within me to pursue it so I just took the papers and did nothing about it. Also, my parents believe that when you are a college graduate you can be anything you wanted to be, and the key to a financial freedom is having a degree. I don’t want to disappoint them so I said to myself, okay, I’ll follow their advices, but through that I sacrificed myself. In those times I was certain that I wanted to be a writer and a poet but I can’t pursue them because there was no money in writing unless you write crappy articles about somebody’s life. There was no financial freedom in poetry because just like drawing, painting, singing or dancing they were just tags as “hobbies”.
Doing what my parents want me to do is sacrificing what I wanted to do with my life. At first, it was so hurtful but when I saw their sacrifices for me, just to be in school, that was more hurtful. Poor people like us was just a slave of loan sharks and wealthy people. I feel horrible when my parents were treated like rugs. I feel like dying sitting on stairs just watching my grandmother counting her days battling a malignant diabetes, it was so devastating than sleeping and waking up on empty stomachs. So I finished school but not in flying colors, because the bad things that happened in my family really took a toll on me being away from home and with no money to buy my needs because I was saving up for my examination fees. Yes, I felt so poor and disappointed in life but I still fought my way to get through my graduation.
People like us, have no freedom to fight for our passions in life just because we are busy fighting to live every day. Finding what you wanted to do in life is not easy whether you are poor or rich there will be always that hindrance that will shook you to give up on your dreams. But there is one quality I learned in life while going through this journey. NEVER GIVE UP.
We have different experiences in life. I know there are a lot of people who gone through the worst things a person can ever imagine, but no matter how hard, how weary, how disappointed, how hopeless how negative things maybe NEVER GIVE UP. Never give up in believing that everything will be alright. Never give up in Hoping that bad days will just be the shadow of the good things ahead. Never give up for people who is always there with you whether in lightness or darkest of days. Never give up on your dreams. I do believe that in order to be truly happy you must do the things that you love.
Whether singing, dancing, painting or writing, find time to do the things that you love, whether you pursue it professionally, like you like to earn a living out of it, or you just love doing it, only you who can decide, just don't give up doing it. Don’t let the outer force from anybody cut off what makes your life meaningful and purposeful. Continue doing the things that you love and you will find peace and happiness within you that no amount of money or titles in the world can ever surpass it. What makes you happy no matter what that is, gives you identity. What you love is who you are. It defines you, it represents you. Having that to yourself will help you decide which path you'll anchor your life tomorrow.
But how can you Identify the Things You Love to Do? I found an awesome site to help you, Click on the Link

A day in Lake Sebu: A refreshing One day Travel
instagram
There is no therapy better than being with nature. I know most of us just like me, are so wary of day to day activities in our lives. Heavey workloads, stressful workmates, financial anxieties to name a few but I won’t elaborate on that. So I was down at a moment and I feel really tired. Since a holiday would come we (workmates and me) decided to loosen up a bit. We decided to spend the day of the holiday in Lake Sebu.
Lake Sebu the Land of the Dreamweavers is a small municipality here in Region 12, Philippines. It’s the place where 2018 Ms. Universe Catriona Gray shoots her video when she introduces the Philippines to the world during the Ms. Universe competition. In her Video Captioned “This is Mindanao” we see her wearing the traditional dress of T’boli and Ubo tribes who make up 55% of the municipality’s population.
youtube
Catriona Gray Mis Universe 2018, a pride of the Philippines.
Now, it’s time for us to explore it once more.
Travel Itinerary
How to get there?
For people from outside Mindanao, you have to take a flight from Manila to General Santos City. Then, you will take a bus going to Koronadal City that would cost you from 120 to 150 pesos. From Koronadal City Bus Terminal you will take a Van going to Lake Sebu, the fare would be from 50 to 60 pesos each person.
When you arrive in Lake Sebu Terminal there are a lot of habal-habal (motorcycle rides) which you can hire for 150 to 200 pesos per person for the whole day to get you to places all around Lake Sebu.
Experience the Seven Falls of Lake Sebu.
We arrived in Lake Sebu around 9 am living Koronadal at 8:00 am. We get a habal-habal and went to 7 falls. Seven falls is a nature reserve in South Cotabato and the Provincial Government has direct control and maintenance of the place.
When you arrive at the Seven falls you will pay an entrance fee of 50 pesos.
What’s inside?
1.) A stunning view of the first falls.

instagram
I am content just being on the first waterfall. It's just lovely and relaxing. You can enjoy a little pick nick and just feel the place. It feels like you are in forest and everything are just natural. The cold trees, the sound of the waters falling, birds chirping, the place is just perfect for meditation and self reflection but except when there's so much tourist.
2) Zipline
Zipline in the Seven falls are believe to be the highest in Asia. From the top you will have a view of all the Seven falls underneath. Entrance fee is ranging from 5 to 20 pesos for children and 300 pesos for Adults during weekdays and 350 pesos during weekends and holiday. They will offer you a photograph of yourself riding the zipline and you can pay from 150 to 300 pesos depending on what package you will get.
instagram
I'm really scared doing that zipline but it's worth it.
3.) The Last falls
You can't explore all of the seven water falls in Seven Falls since some of the roads are risky. the zipline will take you to the Second falls and to the last falls. From the point where you landed the zipline you will walk for a few minutes to reach the Seventh Falls. Now here, you have to take care of your belongings for wild monkeys are everywhere.
instagram
instagram
The Seven Falls is a stunning place to unwind and perfect for small vacation for yourself or for your family. The services provide inside is good. There's a little gift shop when you reach the last stop of the zipline. You can also get your pictures or take a moment to sip a coffee or snack. There are also some habal-habal, so if you like to get to your next travel destination your hired driver can pick you at that point.
We spent almost our morning chatting under the mist of the water falls then at 11:30 am we drove to our next destination, the Punta Isla Resort, where we will be having our lunch.
Punta Isla Resort is famous for it's floating restaurant. Yes, you can enjoy your meal at the middle of the lake overlooking the mountains of Lake Sebu.
instagram
Lake Sebu is very famous for producing Tilapia. So almost of the restaurants in Lake Sebu cook tilapia in different cuisines but chicaron tilapia is one of the favorite dish cooked in Lake Sebu.
After a Festive Lunch You can enjoy taking photos from the Resorts porch.

instagram
Our day ends here but the memories and moments we shared in this place will never be forgotten. Going here again is already in my bucket list. There's so much more to discover here in Lake Sebu and here in SOX (SOCCSKSARGEN).
A Lesson I have learned from this experience. Perfect vacations does not depend on the length of stay or the numerous activities you get, it depends on how the experience touch you as a person, put happiness in your heart and bring peace within your soul, because you can never tell it's a vacation if does not meet any of that.
hope to share with you more! Follow me!

Islands of the Giant: A day Tour on a Budget!
Tumblr media
Touch down in Ilo-Ilo City last February 2018. This is my second travel in Ilo-Ilo City and Gigantes island is our travel goal. But finding a cheap tour package was a challenge. Thanks to my positive hopes and continued prayer we got the best deal.
We attended the 1st Quarterly Seminar and Meeting of the Philippine Association of Government Budget Administration in the The Mansion Ilo-Ilo and after the said four-day seminar we were prepared to enjoy the beautiful Island of Gigantes
So we book our tour to Gigantes Island Tours and Services
We found out that they are the legal owner of Islas de Gigantes-Cabugao Gamay, (Oh that's a wow for me, owning an island is super cool) . They wanted all their clients to have an enjoyable experience with the tours on an affordable budget. They were really patient with me when I was booking our Tour and they really helped us to get the cheapest deal.
They gave us Php 950.00 per head on the tour for 12 persons (the best way to get the cheapest tour is being on a group tour), inclusive of van transportation from and to our Hotel, Island hopping (we headed to at least five Islands), Lunch (with take home) and very friendly and hospitable customer service.
So five star recommended
https://web.facebook.com/Gigantesislandtour/
Day Tour:
Our van arrived at 4:00 am in our Hotel and exactly 4:30 we began our travel going to Carles, Ilo-Ilo. We arrived in Carles at 7:00 am. We ate breakfast and got to the boat for Island hopping at exactly 8:00 am.
The following Photos were our happy memories from our Island Hopping

There is something interesting with these Islands. When we're doing our Island hopping till noon, and when you go the Philippines noon time is a very hot hour, we decided to swim, Even though it was burning weather, the waters on this beach was super cold! Also, the Islands and the waters were clean. Hoping that the owners will continue to take good care of these Natural Gems.
Lunch Time!
Enjoyed a Festive Lunch!

and a perfect sunset to end it!

The Beauty of Fake Roses: Why 10,000 Roses in Cebu City is worth seeing for?
Tumblr media
When you go to Cebu, a lot of people recommend to visit the 10,000 Roses. But, there were some who said that it was not worth the time. Some also was not satisfied and confident enough to recommend it to us. Additionally, there were tourists with expectation versus reality effect after they visit this place. Since, our tour in Oslob for the coming Saturday had cancelled, we decided to gave the 10,000 roses a go. Here is the reason why I did not regret that decision.
Short Facts about the 10,000 Roses: Repost from Cebu City Tour/cebucitytour.com
The 10,000 roses cafe is located at the end of Cordova Tourism Center, just right next to Lantaw Floating Restaurant. It is owned by Miguel Cho, an interior designer. He was inspired by the famous Dongdaenum Design Plaza in South Korea. His intention in putting up the cafe is to create a romantic ambience that would be perfect for couples, a place precise for a beginning of a happily ever after.
Aside from the sumptuous food in the cafe, the main attraction of the place is the 10,000 artificial LED roses that are “planted” in the open area of the facility. These roses of about 3 feet tall dance with the sea breeze in the day time and are transformed into magical lights in the night as they are lit at around 6pm every night.
Our Experience: We arrived perfectly on time as we planned. We decided to go to Cordova at 3pm and we arrived in the location of the cafe at 4:30pm. We traveled on V-hire along with some locals and the travel is quiet long but just best for us because we had enough time to chat with the other passengers. We asked for direction and they were really nice to assist us. After we arrive in Cordova, we occupied a tricycle (padyak) going to the 10,000 Roses Cafe.
Review:
We paid an entrance fee of Php 20.00. When we enter I never expect that the place is really wide enough to cater hundreds of tourist.
I really love the place. It's like a wharf before I guess. The Cafe is elegant in design and facing to the shores of Cordova.
While waiting for the 10,000 LED roses to be lighted, You can enjoy first a sunset gazing on the sea shores.
It is best also to drink a coffee inside the cafe, lay your back then chill while gazing the City of Cebu or while enjoying a talk with your friends. The place is very relaxing, and very romantic for couples. The owner is brilliant to chose the location of the cafe since the great ambiance of the place owed it from the tranquil breeze and calm waves of the sea. So, the 10,000 roses cafe is best to unwind, to take a break,to read, to think, to meditate or to relax. Maybe a playlist could make it more perfect.
It was 6pm when they lit the roses, and a lot of us could not contain our excitement, but I was dismayed afterwards. There were roses which were burnt out and the place became crowded with tourist. Getting a picture was really hard, not just because of many photo bombs but also the place was dark, but It's still understandable since we will not appreciate the beauty of the roses when the place will be lighted and also, what can you expect from a tourist spot? A haunted place? I persevere to took some shots so I can have a wonderful remembrance from this romantic place. It is worth my time visiting this place and I would love to comeback for more experiences.

I have learned that being happy is a choice. It is a feeling that is so important that does not depend on someone else's opinions, decisions, judgements or feelings towards you. It is build on self love, contentment, peace, positivity and optimism. May your heart be filled with so much happiness.
