I’ve drawn the first of the four lovely ladies from the summer doodle I did the other day. I started this last night, but I had to finish it this morning due to my eyes being tired. Either way, meet Marisol! 🌊☀

Marisol Rodríguez Ayala helps her family run a restaurant in the heart of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Her life was going on as usual until a being known only as The Wings of Dominion crashed in and destroyed the restaurant. Needing the cash and seeking a little revenge, Marisol took up her machete and went after The Wings of Dominion to make him pay for the destruction.

She uses a combination of her machete and some wind magic to unleash a sharp and dangerous close-quarters combat style. She’s a traditional girl, enjoying stuff like dancing and dresses. In fact, the dress is based on dresses worn by women dancing the bomba, a traditional Afro-Puerto Rican dance.

This is a character I’ve been wanting to draw ever since I first thought of her. She’s the first in my roster to represent my homeland of Puerto Rico, so I’m quite proud of the results. Hopefully, she’ll become a favorite for others as well.😊🇵🇷

I was bored and I hadn’t drawn anything in over a week and I’ve been playing with a concept for a game I hope I can get made someday, so I ended up making a doodle of four of the characters from that concept in their beachware! 😎🍹

I haven’t really fleshed them out much, but I’ll give you a short rundown of what they are. Alberta has the ability to use snow and ice magic, Gertrude is a fencer with a cold demeanor, Marisol can manipulate the weather and use a machete on the side, and Emilia is a succubus who fights with a staff and tries to avoid unleashing her demonic form.

I’ll be drawing these ladies in full and in their usual clothes whenever I can.

Back in May, I drew the three main Angeloids from Heaven’s Lost Property and posted them on Instagram. I was in the mood to draw another Angeloid, so I went with Type Epsilon, Chaos!

I wanted her to look lowkey insane like in the anime, so I gave her an expression that would fit that and drew a slight toothy smile. I had some problems with the headdress and I made her look a little older than I intended to, but I honestly feel this is the best HLP fan art I’ve ever drawn. Then again, my art in early May was awkward… 😅

I was at the library earlier today and I felt like watching some anime, so I decided to continue Darling in the Franxx, an anime I was skeptical of after three episodes, mainly due to how the mechs work. I’m on Episode 8 and the show kinda grew on me. Particularly, my impression of Zero Two changed, so I’m commemorating that with this small doodle.

I might draw more Darling in the Franxx fan art in the immediate future as I continue to watch it. I really need to get caught up on anime in general… 😅

Series 4 of my one-off OC redraws! This time, I redrew two ladies that were actually planned for something, only for those plans to never pan out. 😅

First is Longoria, a half-dragon who was supposed to be a character in some story I never fleshed out and was drawn either in Fall 2015 or Fall 2016. I’m honestly unsure because I never dated anything at those times and it was mixed in with a bunch of unorganized drawings. I feel it looks closer to my 2015 form, so I approximated it to that. Anyway, I redesigned her hair to look significantly more reasonable and gave her some poorly-drawn braids and hair that doesn’t fall where it should, in retrospect. I also added dragon scales to her shoulders to make her look a bit more draconic. Her upper back (where her wings are) is also scaly.

The second girl is Maureen, a 30-year-old Irish woman who is a servant of the Greek goddess Hera and was originally conceived as a fighter for a plan of mine that fell through. She had the power to put opponents to sleep and was a water elemental. Maureen is also a sadist who takes pleasure in toying with her opponents during battle. She didn’t quite fit the mold and I couldn’t conceive a fitting design for her, so she was scrapped (and why she’s topless in the original). She was one of the first characters I created this year, on January 22nd. I felt that I was free to design her how I wanted now, so I decided to actually give her some clothing, in addition to making her look a bit sinister, which is why the shading on her forehead is darker than normal.

As with the other three series, the original drawings are to the right of the redraws. 😊

I redrew two characters on their first anniversary! Yes, both of these were drawn exactly one year ago from the dates that they were doodled at the library. Neither really had much to them, but I might flesh them out someday.

The “younger” of the two is a girl I have dubbed Rika. She is a representation of how I feel about Germany: I would like to learn about the country and the German language, but I’m super clueless and have no idea how to go about it. I tried to reflect this in the redraw by giving her a German national soccer team cap and making her look really oblivious. Her name is short for “Amerika” (German for “America”). The only other note for her is that her favorite food is ice cream.

As for the lady that was drawn yesterday, she was originally a doodle of a bored girl, thus the name “Bored Girl #1.” I thought she was the perfect representation of a bored person. She seemed like a smaller girl than most of my other characters, so I kept her proportions small for the redraw. I also attempted to do something a bit different by trying out some cross hatch shading. It’s admittedly not the best effort… At least the hair looks really good.😅

Like in my previous two OC posts, the image to the right of the redraw is the original.

Another pair of redrawn OCs! This time though, I have a lot less to say about them because they’re not attached to any old ideas.

Mirai was originally a Rosalina clone that could see the future, hence her name. She was drawn on the last week of 2014, probably on a Saturday (I didn’t write dates on all of my art at the time.) For the redraw, I focused on separating her from her Rosalina roots to make her look more unique.

The other girl is Larissa. The only noteworthy thing about her is that I drew her on the first week of September 2014, right before I started my senior year of high school. She was definitely drawn before the Thursday of that week, but again, I don’t know the exact date. The original drawing dates on both of the redraws are probably erroneous, as they’re only estimates.

Like in my previous OC duo post, the originals are to the right of the redraws.

The new Heroes banner dropped and I noticed that Sumia hasn't gotten the nicest reception compared to everyone else, so I drew a little something to show her some love. It's really unfortunate to see a character be dismissed so much.🙁 As far as the drawing itself is concerned, her colors were quite difficult for me to pick out. She has an odd scheme, and I tried my best to make the colors as close as I could to the originals. Her entire design is pretty tough for me, especially the armor.😅

I redrew an old OC and a library doodle from last fall.

Raphana was originally created for a fighting game idea I had a few years ago that in retrospect is pretty ridiculous (personifications of food fighting in a tournament for the imperial throne)

The other girl is just a doodle that I always wanted to make a character out of, but never had any ideas for. She’s kinda just there, like a lot of my one-off characters.

I was playing HunieCam and it made me wanna draw Lailani. She's my favorite girl in the game. I tried to make her look shy here in order to match her in-game description. I really sincerely hope she gets into HuniePop 2. 😄❤

Hi! I’m new to Tumblr. A good friend of mine recommended that I share my art on here and I felt that I should make something to mark my entry here.

I mainly draw my own characters, so expect to see a lot of that in the future. This one is Lalune, the vain Duchess of Orange who loves treasure as much as she loves having the spotlight.
