The Unbroken by C.L. Clark (2021)

Honestly, THE UNBROKEN was a bit more work for me to get through than I anticipated. Despite the intriguing plot, it was sometimes slow and occasionally frustrating. I wasn’t always convinced of the characters’ decisions, reactions, or even how their relationships developed at times. Even so, Clark’s world is expansive and the magic system is very interesting, so I’m still keen to pick up the sequel when it comes out! ⁣

Ultimately, if you are intrigued by military fantasy and/or messy characters, maybe give this one a go. ⁣
