Ok so the finale was a rollercoaster of emotions.

I’m grateful for the ending tbh, but so sad we wished and didn’t get. CX-2’s closure wasn’t that satisfying, considering how his character was throughout the season, but I’m not complaining too much.

I’m gonna go cry now if you excuse me 😌

A Bad Batch detail I noticed

like last week

It just dawned on me that the season 2 opening and ending are basically parallels. It is something I haven’t seen mentioned at all in the entire year since season 2 came out, so I just wanted to drop it out there right before season 3’s finale. Anyway, just hear me out:

Season 2 began and ended with two-parter episodes, right?

In the beginning of part two from the starting episodes (s2ep2), we see Tech falling followed by a small but heavy box fracturing his left femur.

In the beginning of part two from the ending episodes (s2ep16), we see Tech falling followed by a huge tram cart. (I’m so sorry for making you guys see this again, I know it hurts 😔)

As an extra, it is possible that CX-2 has prosthetic lower legs (a theory I have seen and personally support too) based on the heat-vision view Crosshair used in s3ep7 (note the blue in his lower legs indicating less heat, which could in turn mean prosthetic legs).

(Also, technically heat-vision can’t penetrate clothing, but he’s wearing skin-tight clothing beneath the vest so ig it’s passable on that note; not so much on the helmet tho, that one should be at the very least green like the vest. Also, legs would be supposed to appear red and not blue, so yes, he’s got prosthetics).

So, I’d say it is safe to assume that, if (and a very big if here) CX-2 ends up being Tech in the end (gosh I ain’t afraid to say I really wish it is Tech damn it i miss him so much), that the tram cart from the s2 finale fell on Tech the same way the heavy box from episode 2 did, crushing just his legs, making the beginning and the ending of season 2 easy parallels.

Of course, CX-2 can still very well be just another reg-clone same as CX-1 (or Cody, as I’ve seen some people throw that around too, and tbh wouldn’t mind if it was the case), and it wouldn’t affect the parallels thing too much cause there are too many other similarities anyway. Even though I don’t have too much hope over Tech being alive by this point in the season, but one can still dream until May 1rst tomorrow!!

I totally agree with you.

Me being one of those people who began art in their teens and not being born with “talent” (I was the draw stick figures kind of guy back in the day), and worked my ass off for literal years of my life to reach the ability I’ve got right now, it’s discouraging to see AI stealing art, not just mine but many other artists like me, so that people that just want easy money at the expense of actual artists can get what they want. (I have also opted out so I’m not as worried, but there are others who haven’t seen the update yet)

I also have the support of my family, but sometimes even they try to steer me into learning AI just because that seems to be the future of the industry: just a bunch of people sitting at computers figuring out the proper detailed prompts to tell the AI to produce what they want. I understand that getting the AI to produce exactly what you want is hard (and I’ve checked OpenAI to try it out so I can say it is hard to get it to do proper anatomy or coloring), cause it’s still a tool limited by written language. But once it can take over the job of an artist, what then? What will happen to us? Will we have to abandon human-made art because it is way too expensive and AI will be the cheaper option to companies?

All the old futuristic media showing machines working the hard manufacturing jobs and people enjoying science and art seem to be getting thrown out the window, instead artificial intelligence taking over the very thing that has been with human culture since before complex tools were even thought of.

We want to create, but AI developers take our work to feed the very thing that might take over our job opportunities. It’s ok to have it as a tool to use for fast concepts, but once it gets to a point where it is taking others’ art so it can mimic them, it’s where the problem really begins. Those artists the AI will be able to replicate, will become obsolete to the eyes of the industry that acquires the AI tool.

AI is a tool until it isn’t. AI is a tool until it leaves more people without jobs than the ones it helps.

AI should remain a tool for human artists, not become a “cheap” substitute of human artists.

i never do written posts, but honestly with all that is going on lately with Ai i feel unimmaginably discouraged and i feel the need to vent a little.

since i was a kid i always loved to draw and be able to put down on paper all my silly fantasies, i always dreamed to be part of this beautiful community (art community). To inspire and be inspired by many wonderfull people all over the world.

I ve even managed to finally sign up to get an animation degree, to work in the industry

and yet all of this is starting to feel like is falling apart. That my dreams and aspiratons wont be anymore than that.

i opened this blog not even an year ago to get out of the toxicity (if we can call that) that instagram is going through, tumblr souded a more peaceful option to turn to from time to time

and yet here we are today dealing with the thousandth internets's bullshit.

Of course i tapped "opt out" but seriously all of this is overwhelming; wherever i turn these companies and softwares always seem to be behind me. Ready to robb me of this part of me;

the small word in my mind that i so much worked on, that i still practice to.

All of this to be STOLEN from me, i honestly couldnt immagine anywhere else to be if not whit art. I have all my life being around art, i always had and still have the support of my family and friends.

And yes…

I know that now there are option like Glaze and Nightshade, but honestly just the thought that I have to “protect” my work, that I even need to spend more of my time to be able to bring my small part to the web is honestly…

Frustrating

I feel so full of rage about the people who’s only goal in life is to profit out someone else effort

Because that’s the only thing that they are good to do in the end

Exploiting

No talent no effort no passion

I am back with more Trolls Band Together content! (I’m not turning my tumblr into a trolls blog I swear—) [also, I ain’t gonna draw the details on Ritz’s jumpsuit, I’ve got a neurodivergent brain that refuses to add that sort of detail (but god forbid I miss a shadow or a lineart detail lmao)]

Ok ok last thing, I need to get this out of my system, since I’ve watched to movie a few more times since last post. Have you noticed the amount of *NSYNC references in the movie’s OST?? Like, the last part of Vacay Island’s song is literally the Sailing chorus, and the BroZone’s Back’s beginning is I Want You Back, which sure it’s a The Jackson 5 song but *NSYNC did a cover for it! It’s not just the in-sync/*NSYNC joke John Dory makes at the end of the movie, it’s all over the movie!! I’ve probably missed some other smaller detail, but gosh I love that they made an effort to include more *NSYNC than just a joke and a new song.

Ok I’ll stop myself before I turn this into a longer rant than it already is.
