Sorry y’all for the art hiatus these past two months, I’ve got a couple of WIPs somewhere in my computer, and rn I’m in the last 2 weeks of the semester so it’s getting wild.

I’m still drawing, my small sketchbook has many sketches to show for that xdd but no digital art has been produced by yours truly as much as they’d like (;_;).

Expect stuff from me in June tho!

A Bad Batch detail I noticed

like last week

It just dawned on me that the season 2 opening and ending are basically parallels. It is something I haven’t seen mentioned at all in the entire year since season 2 came out, so I just wanted to drop it out there right before season 3’s finale. Anyway, just hear me out:

Season 2 began and ended with two-parter episodes, right?

In the beginning of part two from the starting episodes (s2ep2), we see Tech falling followed by a small but heavy box fracturing his left femur.

In the beginning of part two from the ending episodes (s2ep16), we see Tech falling followed by a huge tram cart. (I’m so sorry for making you guys see this again, I know it hurts 😔)

As an extra, it is possible that CX-2 has prosthetic lower legs (a theory I have seen and personally support too) based on the heat-vision view Crosshair used in s3ep7 (note the blue in his lower legs indicating less heat, which could in turn mean prosthetic legs).

(Also, technically heat-vision can’t penetrate clothing, but he’s wearing skin-tight clothing beneath the vest so ig it’s passable on that note; not so much on the helmet tho, that one should be at the very least green like the vest. Also, legs would be supposed to appear red and not blue, so yes, he’s got prosthetics).

So, I’d say it is safe to assume that, if (and a very big if here) CX-2 ends up being Tech in the end (gosh I ain’t afraid to say I really wish it is Tech damn it i miss him so much), that the tram cart from the s2 finale fell on Tech the same way the heavy box from episode 2 did, crushing just his legs, making the beginning and the ending of season 2 easy parallels.

Of course, CX-2 can still very well be just another reg-clone same as CX-1 (or Cody, as I’ve seen some people throw that around too, and tbh wouldn’t mind if it was the case), and it wouldn’t affect the parallels thing too much cause there are too many other similarities anyway. Even though I don’t have too much hope over Tech being alive by this point in the season, but one can still dream until May 1rst tomorrow!!

I am back with more Trolls Band Together content! (I’m not turning my tumblr into a trolls blog I swear—) [also, I ain’t gonna draw the details on Ritz’s jumpsuit, I’ve got a neurodivergent brain that refuses to add that sort of detail (but god forbid I miss a shadow or a lineart detail lmao)]

Is it weird for me to ship a rare pair like Veneer x Kid Ritz? Maybe, maybe not, idk. I’m starved for content tho, that’s a thing.

Ok ok last thing, I need to get this out of my system, since I’ve watched to movie a few more times since last post. Have you noticed the amount of *NSYNC references in the movie’s OST?? Like, the last part of Vacay Island’s song is literally the Sailing chorus, and the BroZone’s Back’s beginning is I Want You Back, which sure it’s a The Jackson 5 song but *NSYNC did a cover for it! It’s not just the in-sync/*NSYNC joke John Dory makes at the end of the movie, it’s all over the movie!! I’ve probably missed some other smaller detail, but gosh I love that they made an effort to include more *NSYNC than just a joke and a new song.

Ok I’ll stop myself before I turn this into a longer rant than it already is.

Any way, happy halloween! again!! I like halloween, with so much free candy and just spooky but friendly vibes, ya know?? The costumes are fun too, even if some years I can't get some decent quality given to them xdxd

OMfG IT FINNALY ARRIVED!!

This lil guy gave me such a scare this morning when the post office said they didn't got no package on my mailbox. A package, may I add, was actually delivered LaST wEeK-- a n d I h a d n ' t h a d t h e c h a n c e t o g e t i t t i l n o w l i k e d o y o u k n o w m y p a i n

Thankfully, I found THE 2ND PS TRACKING CODE (why tf do some packages get more than one how does the mail service even work like that-) and the office could find Clyde soewhere in storage.

On other news, this guy got to see Sea World even after all the trouble it caused....

Also, guess who finally watched Trolls: Band Together TWO MONTHS after it first released?? （〜^∇^ )〜 meeeeee!!!!

Really liked the movie (watched it 4 times already gosh help me the hyperfixiation's got me--), even more than World Tour (YES, fite me). Anyway, for as much as I love queen Barb, Velvet and Veneer have stolen my heart (SPECIALLY VENEER MY SON IS SO DAMN AMAZING HE DESERVES BETTER I'M REALLY CONSIDERING WRITING SOMETHING FOR HIM ON AO3 HELP). And that's why I give you a Veneer! Enjoy:

I find the Mount Rageons' "Betty Spaghetty" kind of bodies to be such a satisfying thing to draw because of the fluidity and cartoon-ey movement. I had a lot of fun drawing Veneer's arms and legs, so much of a stim, man. I might draw more Mount Rageons (cause I suck at drawing trolls) like Velvet or the other named character, Kid Ritz, in what's left of december. Might post them or not idk....

Anyway, gonna go back to being dead for a while if I don't share those. Byeeee

You guys have NO IDEA how much I loved The Amazing Digital Circus’s pilot…. I’ve probably seen it like, what, 10 TIMES since it released?? Never gets old

Anyway, have my first contribution to the TADC fandom. My fave character is actually Zooble, but Jax is way easier and more fun to draw, specially if you add in a pinch of existential horror into the mix (mmmm my favorite kind of horror flavor). This ain’t the first fanart I’ve made, as I have (of course) done some doodles of the entire gang already, but I made this one with mixed media and wanted to share.

Also: mad respect to those who draw digital using a mobile device and finger, you guys are incredible idk how you keep yourselves sane

PS: have the original hand drawn doodle, as well as an edited version in black&white that tbh deserves a mention cause it turned out a bit creepy too. If you wonder what the text bubble is, it’s part of another drawing… ^_^;

Second post! And first official non-welcome-to-tumblr post!!

Did this short animation a while ago but never posted it. Might as well do it now that I've got a Tumblr account...

Fun facts about the animation: It runs at 12 fps and has a total of 12 frames, so it's exactly 1 second long! This means each note (if you count both the head tilts and drumstick hits) is a quarter in a 4 by 4 beat, and if you only count one (let's say, the dumsticks only) then it's a half.

Fun fact about me: I actually did like 3yrs of drumming when I was in middleschool and highschool, so that was an extra bonus when animating the hand movement and the drumstick bounce.
