Short answer: I just think it's cool🤌

Longer answer: The first stomach is used as a pouch when the second one is full and digesting. Enoch is a huge being who uses a lot of energy in order to move and live. Keeping nutrients closely will allow him to 'fast' for long periods of time unlike Elsen (for example) who's need 3 meals per days.

Like this, he can focus on his work without worrying of being hungry.
