I love that all the actors got to use their real accents for the One Piece Live Action. It's a fictional world where the protagonist is a stretchy rubber boy, why can't the show sound like a hodgepodge of world accents? Some of my favorite things that I noticed about their accents:

kid!Luffy speaks with an American accent but grows up to speak with a Mexican accent while his grandpa is Welsh

Despite growing up in the same town and having known each other their whole lives, Kaya has a British-Cameroonian accent while Usoop has an American accent. Kaya is so rich that she sounds like she's from a different continent than her childhood friend

kid!Nojiko speaks with an American accent but grows up to speak with a Nigerian accent while Coco Village sounds British

Sanji speaks with a British accent but yells out his finishing moves in French

Luffy climbing on Zoro's chest right after he proclaimed he needed him

Buggy sitting like a hoe in his intro shot

Buggy being mean and bitter like he never got over that one ex

the Pirate Cat crew and any character with lil whiskers

Helmeppo's growth after a bad haircut

the cute animal hats the biggest toughest Marines wear

Zoro holding his third sword in his mouth

Sanji and Zoro bantering mid-fight about what Luffy needs

the found family vibes of the Straw Hat Crew

Koby bringing Luffy his wanted poster and telling him he's a "wanted man" while looking at him softly

What I love most about the One Piece Live Action is how colorful and vibrant the world is. I'm sick of gritty and dark reboots where every shot is indecipherable, blurry, and pitch black. The OPLA creators knew what they were doing by bringing camp, fun, and adventure.

Sorry for the question! However, what’s your opinion of Endeavor over the new chapters, what he did was awful and unforgivable however I’m glad he at least tries to change even if he knows he won’t be forgiven

Unfortunately, I don’t have any hottakes on this new Endeavor arc because I’m SO BEHIND on the manga. Hopefully once I catch up, I’ll have a better answer but I really want this arc to deal with the aftermath of abuse in a way that focuses more on the victims healing than redeeming the abuser.
