Attack on Prime Chapter 87: Retaliation I

Summary: Eren has escaped from prison and is beginning to sow seeds of chaos in Paradis.

Yelena heard the sounds of screaming, forcing her to wake up from her bed. She slowly stood up when she heard a gun shot go off. She then became more alert when she saw someone thrown across the hallway. Yelena gasped when she saw Eren step into view, his eyes glowing blue, and his hands stained in blood.

“Eren,” Yelena began. She didn’t understand. What was he doing here? He didn’t reply to her; however, and merely walked over to the soldier he had just thrown. He came back to the opening of her cell with the key in hand before unlocking it.

“You’re helping me?” Yelena couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed.

“I need to get to Zeke,” Eren declared coldly, “And I need your help to do it.”

Yelena was off-put by the cold demeanor, but ignored it for the time being. “What should I do?”

“Grab anyone that still might be on your side,” Eren ordered, “Marleyan, Restorationists, whatever. I also need help getting Floch and Louise. They helped me get to you.”

Eren grabbed the pistol on the ground next to a dead soldier, stained in blood, before tossing it to her. “You shouldn’t have any issue with killing.”

“No.” Yelena stared at the blood that was now staining her hands.

“Let’s go,” Eren ordered as he continued walking down the hall. Something felt…wrong about this. Why did this feel wrong? She had never seen Eren act like this in the first place. So why…? Yelena shook her head. She needed to get to Zeke to fulfill the mission…even if she was only doing it for selfish reasons. She gripped the pistol tight before following Eren. Just ignore it for now, until she can get what she wants.

Optimus having to return to the Survey Corps and leave Elita to explain what the hell happened in Part 2: Sheer panic

"I must leave." Elita dreaded hearing those words come from Optimus as her optics slowly opened. She raised her helm from Optimus' chassis to look down at the Prime in the optic. Optimus lied on his back, still holding the warrior close to him in a gentle embrace.

Elita's servo crawled up from Optimus' chassis to his neck cables. "You don't have to go."

"I do," Optimus sighed in defeat, "The military in the walls have no doubt been made aware of your presence."

"As dutiful as ever, I see," Elita remarked.

"And..." Optimus' gaze shifted away from her. "There might be a few who are aware of your identity and informed others."

"Oh, I didn't realize you broke our pact." Elita couldn't help but tease Optimus as she rested her chin on her servo, and her elbow resting on Optimus' chassis.

"It was to comfort an ally going through something difficult." Optimus didn't take the jab too seriously, "But they have questions, and I do not want to overwhelm you with what has been happening on this planet."

"I doubt anything can be more absurd than Unicron being the core of another planet and giving life to it," Elita reasoned.

"I will...tell you about the events of this world when I return." Optimus released Elita and sat upright, forcing Elita to crawl backwards. As Optimus was getting ready to stand, Elita had tackled him into a hug, and Optimus had to balance himself to not fall over.

"Stay a little longer," Elita requested, "I want this dream to last as long as possible."

Optimus couldn't help but pull her closer to him. "Elita, I promise you, this is not a dream."

"How are you so certain?" Elita challenged as she looked at him.

"I can feel your spark calling to me." Optimus couldn't help but smile, "I have not felt that in eons."

Elita couldn't help but smile in return. "I guess there is that."

"I will return for you," Optimus promised her, "It might take some time, but I promise I will."

Elita reluctantly released Optimus from her embrace, allowing him to stand up and walk out of the cave. Optimus looked back and waved goodbye to Elita, and Elita responded in kind. Elita's smile faded when she saw Optimus transform and drive away before lying back down in the cave. There was always some conflict and she despised it.

Later

Optimus slowed to a stop when he noticed members of each branch in the military convening outside of Sina's headquarters. The minute Optimus activated his holoform, the humans had begun hounding him with questions. He searched the faces in the crowd for the Survey Corps and spotted them in the back. Some of them looked conflicted, surprised, disgusted, and annoyed, but it was clear that they knew of Elita's relationship with him.

Optimus nearly broke his neutral expression when he saw Hanji looking rather pissed off, punching their right hand into their left fist. Yes, they were very well aware of Elita due to the Ackermans.

I think because we got most of the Monster song in those two tiktoks. It was just that beginning and that ending missing. So we already knew what to expect.

I was personally blindsided by The Underworld, but loved the Orchestra of No Longer You is fire as fuck!

Dolphins are known to sexually assault anything if they don't have a partner

Hot take, I really don’t think we should assign human morals onto animals and call them bad or evil. Fishblr has internalised this idea really well with sharks, and I think that’s good! Sharks don’t deserve all the fearmongering they suffer from in media. But… can we please remember to extend this to other animals too? Even to intelligent animals like dolphins (most commonly bottlenose dolphins) and orcas. It seems to be a counter to pop culture’s tendency to show dolphins as complete angels when they partake in some messed up things, but like…. Dolphins are still animals? They may be able to recognize themselves in mirrors and they may have language and culture and know how to use tools but their intelligence is still on the level of a human child (and how empathetic are those!!??). I see people talk about how evil dolphins are but I never see people talking about other animals the same way, like, why aren’t sea otters and their “evilness” the topic of discussion? :/
