So I’m in the writing process for the next part of my fic With the Bat. Chapters are going to be longer and more carefully written, this whole project has really shown me where I need to improve with my writing, storytelling, and art and I am super excited to eventually post chapter 1! This cover was actually drawn about a month ago but all art for upcoming work will be fresh and new! (Probably)

So I completely forgot to post these new Jason sketches I did a couple of days ago! Also yes I did reuse the pose I used in my Superman ref for him because I am lazy

Other than that I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting on his design that best fits the story I’m trying to tell with the fic I’m working on along with just general design. His hair in particular has been a struggle but I think I like the longer curl with the white part of the hair representing what had to grow back after he was blown up similar to how the birthmarks were there because of the explosion and what had to be healed with the pit. With that patch of hair never growing as long as other parts of his hair.

So I was doodling some of my head cannons and design for Superman!

I want to explain them because I am hyperfixating. So I always like when Clark is a bit more alien physical than seen normally in his character. He has slightly indigo eyes, easily seen as blue. He also has tapetum lucidum also called the eye shine. He has visible blaschko's lines, right now I don’t really have a reason other than I like it, but maybe it could have some reason to do with the sun like his powers or just have them in general, it could also be fun to think that he can other peoples stripes as well, like cats can, and doesn’t realize it isn’t normal to not see them. Anyways, that’s all I have for now.
