Lazytown Shenanigans Pt. 5

.... What in the world was that....

Today I decided to finally watch some episodes from season four, expecting that I'd experience the whole spectrum of cringe, but I was a little bit wrong. I experienced something indeed, and it was not cringe but a total shock (a positive shock, I should say) because of some things that happened there 💀

I've watched two episodes in a row today: "The Fortune Teller" and "The Wizard of LazyTown,"  and both of these episodes left a pretty good impact on me

A small note: I want to warn in advance that this post will mostly contain Sportarobbie stuff and my uncontrollable wheezing and screaming, so if you don't like one of these things or both, just scroll this post and have a good day :3

Well, let's start... 😭

"The Fortune Teller."

I... don't know where to start, to be completely honest 😭. I could've just screamed here and that's it, but that's not how I like to express my thoughts, so I need to keep my rambling constructive at least a little. 

I guess I'll start with the fact that I was pretty surprised that the very first thing that Sportacus did when he woke up was play. Bro I mean... go brush your teeth first? Have a breakfast, I don't know?? This guy is obsessed with sports and activities so much that he even forgets to complete everyday things oh my god 🙄 I mean I shouldn't be surprised because of this, I guess, but WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK. DUDE. MY DEAR. 😭

Also it seemed very cute to me that Ziggy was playing Sportacus in the puppet show. He was also kinda silly, like boy, just wait until the part when you can finally join.. But I just can't blame him, he was so excited to take part in this show as his favorite hero 🥹

And it melted my heart a little that Robbie was also interested in seeing this silly little puppet show, plus he was pretty caught up with the idea of predicting the future and such things

And this is about where the not-quite-adequate part of my post begins... be prepared folks.

AJSJSBDBAJKAKANSNQAK THAT SCENE. THAT FUCKING SCENE. WHEN ROBBIE WAS RAMBLING ABOUT SPORTACUS LIKE "OH HIS FLIPPITY-FLOPPITY AND HIS MUSCLES AGAIN" AND SPORTACUS WAS LIKE STANDING RIGHT BESIDE HIM?? HEARING ALL THAT SHIT AND IT SOUNDED KINDA SUSPICIOUS??? PLEASE HELP ME I'M HYPERVENTILATING, YOU GUYS SHOULD'VE SEEN MY REACTION WHEN I SAW AND HEARD IT *smashes the table*

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL – OH NO NO NO, IT'S NOT ALL; IT'S ONLY THE BEGINNING OF MY CRAZY RAMBLING. AND THEN ROBBIE FINALLY NOTICED SPORTACUS' PRESENCE, AND THERE WAS THAT AWKWARD SILENCE FOR A MOMENT OMG 😭😭 AND THEN HE KINDA TRIED TO.. EXPLAIN HIMSELF?? BUT KEPT STUTTERING BECAUSE WHAT COULD HE SAY IN HIS DEFENSE? I MEAN, I THINK HE REALIZED IT SOUNDED PRETTY ODD LMAOO

Stop I need to clam down for a second, good lord... One of the details in that scene that genuinely shocked me was the fact that Robbie suggested a cake. A cake. Robbie, who desperately loves cakes and doesn't want to share them with anyone, to Sportacus, who is his rival. I- what?? 😭 Bro was so speechless that he even forgot that he wanted to eat a cake. Holy shit what are they doing to me and my poor heart...

And since we're talking about their interactions, HOLY FUCKING SHIT БЛЯТЬ (sorry I'm too emotional at the moment) ROBBIE WAS CARRYING SPORT OVER HIS SHOULDER HJAKAN HELLO?? I- *inner screaming* What should I say about it?? I'm genuinely speechless, like, I have a pretty good vocabulary, but I don't know what to say about it right now, oh my goodness 😭

Or, wait, I think I know what I can say about it. So it turns out that Robbie isn't that weak and can actually carry pretty heavy things? Does he just pretend to be weak? Damn I should make a separate post about it because this topic seems interesting to me...

Ok let's put aside the topic of those idiots for a moment and talk about other things, I guess... I won't say anything about Robbie's disguise this time because, well, I'm not really fond of all this crossdressing stuff (I think that's what it's called?) So I hope you, buddies, understand me

But what I should point out is that he predicted a good future for the kids. As I said in my previous "Lazytown Shenanigans" posts, I know that he finds them annoying, but he still doesn't wish them any bad, and it genuinely warms my stupid sentimental heart 🥺💜

And the song was pretty catchy in my opinion :]

These are already fulfilling the role of tradition in this series of posts, but a few words about my hatred towards Stingy. His usual greed made me amazed, in a bad way, again; he is ready to expose his friend to danger for the sake of riches and the ringing of gold coins in the piggy bank. Yes, he realized his mistake in the end, but I was pretty outraged because of his behavior. Bro, that person saves the lives of your friends and yours in particular, BE AT LEAST GRATEFUL FOR THAT.

Phew. Now let's talk about the other episode,

"The Wizard of LazyTown."

There's nothing much I can tell because that episode was pretty ordinary, except some things, of course.

The scene in which Robbie talked to Stephanie and Milford brought a warm smile to my face, genuinely. He tried to behave nice again, even despite the fact that he had some evil-ish intentions behind that. I mean, he was interested to hear about Stephanie's ongoings and why she wasn't playing with other kids 🥹

And now we're returning to the dorks once again. Bear with me, my dear people, I am very passionate about it.

OK WELL. It made my chest go fuzzy, and I'm not really sure why, but that scene in which Robbie gathered the apples from the tree seemed to me so fucking cute. Robbie killed his time picking up those apples just to give them all to Sportacus in the end. I know he kinda didn't want to do that, but oh my goodness. Robbie said that he gathered them for him ("it's all for you." it's all for you." 😭) or something like that (my heart just made a flip and I'm not joking) and just gave them all to Sport 🥺 

I attach too much importance to this just because Robbie could've lied to him the other way and said that he gathered those apples for kids, and then he could've just gotten rid of them, and that's all. But instead he became very nervous again and gave them to Sportacus on impulse. I think I need to scream into the window-

WHY JUST WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS TO ME?? I SWEAR I'LL HAVE A HEART ATTACK BECAUSE OF THEM ONE DAY *breaks down crying like an idiot*

And the fact that he accidentally made a... potion (I think??) that made him act like Sportacus was just amusing to me. WHO COULD'VE KNOWN THAT HE CAN MAKE SPLITS AND FLIPS?? OMG-

The last thing that I'll say about Robbie is that I'm actually impressed by his ability to change his voice that significantly. I mean, the man can even sing with those voices, and I can't help but be amazed by that

And finally, I'm ending this very long and very emotional rambling with the scene with those magical sprinkles. Idk they seemed very pretty to me, I was like a little kid who saw a magical trick for the first time in their life. That was simply beautiful 🥺

Lazytown Shenanigans Pt. 4

This time I've watched "The Blue Knight," and I don't really know why but I didn't find this episode interesting. Maybe that's because I want to sleep, but whatever 🥱

"The Blue Knight"

I want to start with the scene in the very beginning: I'm not completely sure why, but the fact that Sportacus had to play chess all by himself made me feel somewhat... sad? Not completely sad, but I hope you know what I mean. He seemed very happy, but that scene kinda gave me a feeling of loneliness. But enough of the sad things out of nothing..

Thanks to this episode I was convinced that Ziggy is literally the best kid in the gang. He treats everyone very kindly, no matter if someone is bad or good; he even suggested Robbie listen to the story about the Blue Knight together. Isn't that sweet?? 🥺 Also kinda felt bad for Ziggy when kids left him (accidentally, I should point out, but still), and he was sad that he couldn't join them. Why do they keep upsetting my boy :(

Oh and well. Meanswell's Scottish accent killed me; the way he read the story about the Blue Knight made me feel kinda odd. That was something fr 😭

And speaking of the Blue Knight, this is literally the very first episode in which I've seen Sportacus wearing something different from his usual outfit. It was kinda refreshing to see him like that; even though his face was shown only at the end of the episode, I was happy to see him in other clothing even despite the fact that it was only the knight's armor and it was difficult for him to move in it (it was quite a sad sight to me.) My bbg-

And since we're talking about the outfits in this episode, Robbie's disguise as a Purple Knight WAS A FIRE. LIKE OMG HELLO HANDSOME?? His outfit kinda reminded me of Crowley (probably because of the hair and its color, idk). I think from now on it's one of my favorite disguises of his :]

And the fact that he made a GODDAMN DRAGON ALL BY HIMSELF. Guys I mean isn't he a genius?? He makes such wonderful things using only what he has – in other words his knowledge, various pieces of metal and other stuff

Oh and also, a small thing that made me feel somewhat confused: I heard that Robbie called Sportacus a "sports elf" or something like that. So is it a canon fact that Sportacus is an actual elf? I mean I thought that it was just a fanon thing, but now I'm not really sure about it 😭

Some "nice" words about my "beloved" Stingy :]]]. I didn't expect to hear something nice from him, but him calling his friends "peasants" made me choke on the air. And yes, I know that was a part of his role as a king and the game in general, but confidence in his voice made it sound pretty... legit. As if he had a good opportunity to call them that and not get any words of objection in return. Damn I hate this kid indeed-

And finally, a paragraph about some ship stuff (my favorite part 😏). Not that I noticed too many things, but the fact that Stephanie called Pixel a "young and handsome prince" made me smile warmly. Idk they seem pretty cute to me, I think it's a shame that there are no more hints at their relationship. And I quite liked Robbie's and Sportacus' "fighting" scene. They are just goofing around, god bless them 🥺💜

In general, the episode was pretty good, I like the theme of the Middle Ages and the outfits based on this historical era. But still, unfortunately, I can't say that it's my favorite; I felt like there was something missing, u know...

I watched the show as a kid and I believe it had left a great impact on me, but I don't want to rewatch it, maybe because I don't want to be disappointed if it turns out to be not the show I remember or because I want to leave the memories of the show to my old self only... anyway!

To be honest I didn't expect that anyone would be interested in this at all, I thought that these would be some posts thanks to which I would be able to put my thoughts in order after watching the show, so yeah.. But now I see that at least someone likes it, and I can't help but squeal like a dork when someone leaves a like or a comment :D

Speaking of watching the show as a kid... I got a hyperfixation on Lazytown mostly because I have quite a lot of good childhood memories about this show. For example, watching it helped me get distracted when I was living in another place and there was just a terrible fire near our house (it's a long story but yeah. Lazytown helped me to feel a little better at that moment)

And now, when I rewatch it as a teenager, my opinion of this show hasn't changed at all, I even began to love it even more!! Sometimes I watch some episodes and suddenly I start to recall old memories that I already saw some episodes in my childhood, and it just causes indescribable joy in my chest; that's an amazing feeling fr 😭

And about the screenshot part; I might consider including them! It's just that I don't really like taking screenshots while watching, for some reason it distracts me a little, u know

Lazytown Shenanigans Pt. 3

I can state with all confidence that "The Holiday Spirit" episode is one of the best episodes in the whole show. I was smiling like an idiot while watching it and nearly cried out of joy in the end, THIS WAS SO FREAKING GOOD OMG-

But I need to calm down for a minute.

So,

"The Holiday Spirit."

This episode has very strong found-family vibes in my opinion. I just wasn't able to help myself but feel warm and fuzzy inside when I was watching characters interactions; they are so precious to me... And, as I mentioned in the very first "Lazytown Shenanigans" post, I absolutely adore Christmas atmosphere in the movies and such stuff, so it was the first signal that I might like this episode.

But let's talk about the most important detail of this episode: Robbie's behavior. I just- I- dudes. WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM?? HE WAS SO NICE AND SWEET, AND OH MY FREAKING GOD I AM ACTUALLY CRYING BECAUSE OF THIS?? 

He didn't even do anything bad at all. AT ALL. I mean yes, it all started with the fact that he wanted to get a gift, but the whole thing kinda snowballed and after that he started behaving better and better. I mean, he was pretty happy to help Stephanie and other folks, and oh my god, this excitement in his voice when he greeted the gang... 

And the fact that he actually wanted and tried to be nice for once. He didn't do any name-calling or nasty things; he didn't even react to Sportacus' appearance in the house (but we'll talk about it a little later, mmhhmm.) HE EVEN VOLUNTEERED HIMSELF TO COOK A FUCKING TURKEY, AND THE GANG ACTUALLY INVITED HIM TO THE CHRISTMAS PARTY, AND HE WAS SO FREAKING HAPPY!! This once again confirms that people love him even when he acts not that well and he also loves them too, secretly of course. I want to cry this is so precious 😭😭

And the final scene when the kids and others went to his lair to congratulate him personally, and the expression on his face when he saw them all... My heart is melting; I can't stand this amount of adorable interaction between kids and Robbie. God bless them 🥺

Speaking of adorable interactions, I literally shed a small and very manly tear in the scene when Santa visited kids without any presents, and they convinced him that it's totally fine. Santa is just so nice, and I can't stand it when such wonderful and kind characters are sad. I literally want to cry again while writing this (I'm a very sentimental and pathetic creature, you guys should be aware of that lol.)

But let's touch on the topic of a little funny thing. Robbie's turkey knocked out Santa's sleigh. THE WAY I SNORTED WHEN I SAW THIS OMG 😭💀 And Sportacus' reaction like "what the heck was that-" WAS JUST A CHERRY ON TOP I CAN'T-

And finally, my darling beloved Sportacus and Robbie. :]. Their interaction was, oh finally, pretty nice and normal, even from Robbie's part, which surprised me VERY much. As I mentioned before, he didn't even react when Sport appeared in the house to help the gang, and WAIT. About the helping part: the very first person who he helped was exactly Robbie; and please don't tell me that "um, actually Sportacus needed a ladder and Robbie was stuck in this ladder mlem-mlem-mlem 🤓", I WHOLEHEARTEDLY ADORE THOSE DORKS, JUST LET ME BE DELUSIONAL FOR A MINUTE OK?? 

And HOOHEE that moment when Stingy and Robbie didn't appear at the Christmas party, and Sport sent the gang to find Stingy and went to Robbie's lair himself. Sorry I have a heart attack and I can't think straight, but HAHSHJAKA HELLO 😭😭 AND THEN ROBBIE PEEKED OUT OF HIS LAIR AND HIS HAPPY LITTLE "Sportacus 🥹" KILLED ME AND MY POOR DUMB HEART. HE DIDN'T EVEN INSULT HIM. FOR ONCE. I already said that but I want to cry, this episode is a golden one for me

Lazytown Shenanigans pt. 2

So this time I've watched two episodes in a row: "Sportacus Saves the Toys" and "The Lazy Cup." I can't say that I liked both of the episodes, but they weren't bad either lmaoo. And, well, I think I liked the "Sportacus Saves the Toys" episode more than "The Lazy Cup"

So,

"Sportacus Saves the Toys."

In the first of the above-mentioned episodes, there were – holy moly – some new locations, even despite the fact that they weren't shown for too long. I liked that China and France looked somewhat identical to Lazytown, like they looked funky and colorful as well as Lazytown, u know

This episode made me feel a little bad for Ziggy tbh. I mean, Ziggy is one of my favorite characters; he has a very sweet (badum-tss) and kind personality. I live for this kind of character who is mostly cheerful and happy about everything in their life. And this episode was one of those in which someone ruined his mood, so that made me feel sad. I am sad /ref

And it was Stingy and Stephanie again who did that, just like in the "Ziggy's Alien" episode. Bruh why are they doing that to my boy :(

OH AND ZIGGY'S AND SPORTACUS' "FAMILY BONDING." I fucking adore their interaction, and I fucking love when Sportacus tries to cheer Ziggy up. I just can't do it anymore why are they so adorable 🥺 But then Stingy and Stephanie (mostly Stingy. All the blame is on him /j) ruined his happy mood once again. DAMN WHY JUST WHY ARRERGH-

A few words about Stingy. My God, he can't even play peacefully without proving that things belong to him. BRO UM JUST PLAY NORMALLY, GODDAMMIT, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?? Holy chimichangas, he even took all the sunscreen for himself, what the hell, seriously.... I just despise him at this point, but I can't help myself. He's just annoying.

Anyways. Milford and Bessie were adorable, as always. Can't help but smile like a dork when I see them interacting 🥺

And for goodness sake let Robbie rest and eep!! I can't say that much about him because, well, he was acting silly again as always, so yeah. But the machine that he built was a TOTAL MONSTROSITY. I would've shit myself if I saw that thing walking towards me omg 😭 /hj

And, finally, the "grab my hand" line. Nothing much to say because I'm shaking fiercely like a small pathetic chihuahua..... these dorks are going to be the end for me fr.

"The Lazy Cup."

Well, um, that was something I guess 😭 I don't even know what to say about this episode, except for some small things.

The Sportacus' "ball" shout from the very beginning set the mood for the whole episode, I tell you guys. (/j) I mean that was just very sudden, I just turned on the episode, and the very first thing I heard was "BOAHL" 😭

Won't say anything about Bessie and Milford again because I told about them earlier; they're just cute, like a married but not actually married old couple. Good for them

And speaking about old couples and stuff. There's no doubt to me from this point that Robbie is fucking obsessed with Sportadork. I mean, bro says that he hates him but at the same time HAS A GODDAMN MANNEQUIN OF HIM; bro says "ooohhh noo not him again" and still continues to watch him. Like dude, my dear, calm down 😔

But whatever. Robbie's disguise was pretty nice, I should say; I think his name was Sergio?? I honestly don't remember, but I think it's one of my favorite disguises of his.

And I would like to say that Robbie's team was SO FUCKING ODD I JUST UGH?? 😭 BRO GATHERED THE MOST CRINGE GUYS THAT HE HAS I SWEAR. And like, how did it even work? Did he just bring his own disguises to life? I don't know maybe I'm just stupid, but I didn't know that his disguise machine could do things like that

Finally, Stingy again. In this episode he actually did something nice – in other words, he helped Stephanie. Ok bud, that was a good act of yours 🙄
