I’m actually feeling so emo right now about the fact that her last four albums full of songs about her deep and fulfilling love for that man never got to be performed during the relationship. She never got to sing those words to a crowd and have them screamed back at her while still in that gooey lovey cocoon. Singing sweet nothing and ivy and paper rings will only be a reminder of what she lost now.
We all know about the water-eyed Nerdanel caressing sculptures she’d made of her family and wandering empty halls in grief but
Think about the Nerdanel who had to single-handedly run Formenos while combating the sorrow of her losses. Think about the Nerdanel who faced the scorn of all her kin in Aman for the deeds of her family who left her. Think of the Nerdanel who loved her husband and sons anyway.

😭😭😭😭😭😭 This is a portrait of Napoleon from 1820, during the last year of his life. I’ve never seen a portrait of him this late in his life. He looks exactly how he was described at the time: thin, gaunt and pale. He was suffering from a painful and terminal illness.
