really wish people wouldn't draw gary smith in an ss uniform. i know it's in the game but i feel like we just shouldn't ??????? because it comes off as really romanticisy and accepting or forgiving of it and it's really, at the end of the day, super unforgivable. like that shit rockstar pulled ingame was not cool and i'm NOT a fan. and i feel like we should avoid drawing him like that. he would have maybe been a fun character if he didn't fucking wear that shit lmfao.

So Nana since your interested on how the boss fights work for each i'm gonna explain them starting off with Memory since your curious for that one . So [Y/n] finds memory but memory doesn't trust [Y/n] so she asks [Y/n] to play to play a game with her being that event when little girl came out . So if [Y/n] manages to find memory within the time limit [Y/n] has a gameplay mechanic which memory can attach to [Y/n] and help her out during boss fights or fighting any spirits

I would LOVE to see the dialogue where Y/n encounters Memory. Children are naive, but they're not as dumb as you expect. I'd love to see memory have a little trust quarrel with this new random survivor.

On the wiki, it says she's younger than 12, so I think she would be able to make her own decisions for survival. Especially because shes been playing these games for a while.

when you play as origin wyll and rescue ulder ravengard, ulder greets you in camp with "hail, my boy!" and often refers to you as "my boy" in dialogue. on the one hand, i'm pretty sure that's just a briticism (fantasy-ism?) for "my son." but on the other hand, i feel like it really highlights

how young wyll was when his dad last saw him (17y.o.) - that is, ulder is probably used to thinking of wyll as a "boy" ;_;

RAINCODE SICKFIC FINALE (SPOILERS)

My awaited finale to my RainCode Sickfics of the Heart Series is finally done at last!! This took me a couple of months to put together but I figured since I mentioned it months before and delayed it, I had to get it done as my next project. It's the MakoYuma sickfic where Yuma takes care of a seriously ill Makoto.

This fanfic is officially my longest RainCode fic to date, even beating HIWTHI's word length, so make sure to read it only if you have time! It's the final sequel to that fic as well.

Be Warned: This fic is on the angsty/extreme side with a few trigger warnings. Such as Vomiting, Psychological Trauma and Implied Suicide. Please take caution/care if you read!

Also yes! This is the second commission I received from FTAngel! (if I'm gonna commission someone for official looking work, then I'll ask for both my targets getting cared for hehe :3) This illustrates a scene toward the end of Chapter 7 (the fic will feature it as well)

Your art and thoughts of Makoto's past as a test subject were very helpful fodder to make this fic super angsty and tie to how much this poor thing has likely suffered. Helped me write down some good dialogue for the hallucinations and freakouts in the delirium stage. So Thank you for that!

Your small fic where Makoto age regresses when he got stressed gave me some good thoughts for writing Makoto's delirious behavior. Although I'm not a huge fan of age regression, reducing Makoto to a vulnerable and needy child-like state when super ill was a lot of fun! I love the idea of him being reduced to that since he never could be a child (and he is 3 freaking years old lmao)

Answering the questions

I just love detailed stuff✨ Plus when you work on something for a long time, you can kinda think of something or subconsciously add even more visual details

Motivation comes from just a wish to finish something most of the time

When I work on big projects (that take months for example) I tend to go into 💪grind💪 state, where you just dedicate your entire time to making something

It a very interesting thing, because your life literally becomes this project for a few months, you wake up with a goal and make your day as productive as possible (after I finish something I can have a mini crisis, like wait this thing is over, wait I can do something different.. no I NEED A PURPOSE 💥💥💥 *aggressively starts yet another comic*)

Also I feel like uni played a major role in my productivity rate, bc you can have multiple projects in one semester and plus to that an assignment that just adds on every week

Imagine like inktober, but you decided to take 5 more prompt lists and every drawing you make is criticised by professor (so you need to make edits or redo your entire work)

This type of constant pressure just kinda makes you a different person in a way, at least it was my experience with it

And how much time (hehe don’t make me blush it’s not godly 👉👈), well entire life basically + almost 4 years of uni

Also wanted to say for people who are starting or just feel overwhelmed by other artists skills:

🫵Everyone starts with crappy pony drawings 🫵 (at least I did) (man if I ever find my first drawings I will show them)

The funniest thing is, I started drawing not because I wanted it to be good or to impress people

I just wanted a pony picture 💥 in a funky dress 💥💥 and my mum said “I’m tired of drawing horses for you, go do it yourself” 💥💥💥 and I did 💥‼️💥‼️💥💥

A lot of people chuckled at me bc the drawings were crappy, but I didn’t care 💥📣🗣️I’m the one holding a paper horse in a dress, not you 💥📣🗣️

So like, don’t sweat it, no art is bad – you put effort, you made it, it’s already worth attention and love

The idea of “good” is flawed and very vague anyway

The feeling of doubt is also normal, everyone has it time to time, without it we wouldn’t be able to improve
