One should never judge a book by it's cover, you'd read somewhere on the internet, the saying already overused at this point. And, sure, yeah, you shouldn't see people by what they looked like or wore, but was it hard not to oogle the six foot tall dude apologizing for his tiny brown dog.

"I'm so sorry! The leash is new and it's a little big on her so she ended up breaking free- I apologize." He bowed profusedly, panicked. The fluffy ball of fur seemed to have other plans however, yelping away, it's little tail wagging at your much larger, much scarier doberman.

The fluffy dog had run up to you and your own dog, sucessfully scaring the both of you, making your, again, much larger and scarier dog, bark in surprise, which didn't seem to affect it's brown new found fur friend, the brave little thing it was. But boy, did it scare it's owner. He came running after it, scooping it in his arms and apologizing.

"It's no problem... Loki is very friendly, he just got startled." You explain, trying to calm the panicked male.

After apologizing again, he leaves, gently scolding the excited dog in his arms.

The next day you see him again when you went on a walk with Loki, his exposed arms flexing as he bent down to pick up his dog's poop. Yep, you were no better than those creepy men, staring at a man's bicep like a pervert. You cursed yourself under your breath.

Then a tiny yelp brought you out of your thoughts, making you go throught the same whiplash from the other day; his tiny brown dog, who seemed to now have a frilly pink dress on. How could such a huge man have such a tiny and cute dog?

His dog spots you before he does, happilly barking at your own, pulling on it's leash to run over to where you stood. That grabbed his attention, eyes widening as they find yours.

The boy imediatelly gets up and tries to make his dog stop barking. "Daldal! You can't bark at other dogs! That's rude!"

A giggle left your lips, seemingly catching his attention as well. "Even her name is cute... Are you sure it's your dog?"

He looked stunned for a few seconds, before scratching the back of his neck, a slight blush on his cheeks.

"She's my family's dog so... It wasn't really just up to me...' Looking down at you, he smiled, and it was enough to make your heart beat faster. 'Well, I could in fact ask you the same thing... Your dog doesn't match your vibe at all."

And he was right. Currently wearing a pale blue sundress, you looked equally if not more off-putting near your dog.

"Fair." You concede, nodding at him. Gaze lingerring on his.

Daldal barked once again, breaking your trance and trying to get closer, her little paws scratching the floor as the leash held her back.

"He is very friendly, you can get closer, if you want." You offer, trying to sound as inviting as possible, knowing the usual stigma surrounding dobermans.

With some hesitantion, he did, letting Daldal sniff your dog, who in turn leaned down to inspect the fur ball, his flappy ears pearking up. You smiled fondly at the scene, happy your dog got to hang out with another one of his kind.

"I'm Sungchan, by the way." The boy, blurted out, surprising even himself, he seemed nervous to talk to you. And that made you realize that you were wrong: he definitelly matched his dog, just as cute.

"Nice to meet you, Sungchan. I'm Y/N."

I feel like Amon hasn't prayed often in a while because of his past, but he may still on occasion (habit), and may get back into it properly after actually resolving his feelings with the past. At some point Kaneki starts to join him. He doesn't really know How to pray, especially since a lot of it is in silence, he probably just kneels there and silently wishes for safety for his friends, for strength and resolve, etc. etc. But when Amon starts saying the actual prayers out loud he just sits there and listens to him quietly saying them.

At some point Kaneki might start mumbling along with them, he vaguely knows some of the prayers and has heard Amon say them enough times to kind of know them. Amon is surprised when Kaneki starts doing that and it just kind of becomes a Thing; maybe Kaneki even asks Amon to tell him how to pray the rosary since he sees him doing that often as well (when the rosary is prayed in a group there's one person leading that says the first half of most of the prayers and the rest say the other half, and I think it would be interesting with them alternating like that)

While Kaneki isn't catholic himself he finds it reassuring, while it's unlikely to him that there's someone out there that'll actually grant his prayers it's a nice thought, y'know? It's also just very relaxing there, even if it was kind of awkward at first

I think he also finds the sound of Amon praying very relaxing *cough*

I also think Kaneki would be atheist, while he wouldn't completely deny the possibility of there being a god of some sort he also isn't really a follower of any particular belief system (note: ive actually been informed that there is a better term for this, agnostic, which is essentially being neutral lol). I think Amon would know this, and therefore doesn't really know why Kaneki chooses to pray with him despite this, but he figures that Kaneki does have a lot of things he would want to pray for, things he would want to seek forgiveness for, too, and he appreciates that Kaneki is willing to spend time with him like this anyway.

I think, I want to keep this canon? As in, they don't meet, not in person. See each other from a distance, leave little things and messages for one another (mostly from Shin, though)--But not meet. They know each other through the most Hunter tendencies possible, and Shin adopting them still remains true. Its... all very Hunter-typical, I think. That one guy that funded an artist under the condition that they never meet lmao

So... A message left in warning, or any other reason, wouldn't be atypical. Shin probably ends up with his own ones, written in back-ups for just in case. Probably a lot like Cayde's death messages.

But I think Shin would know. Immediately. Something is wrong with this, where is Wolf? What is context to this? The important of the location? This must be an older one, did he miss it when it was intended?

Messages left to the others; they were hidden in places that were expected. Hunters leave messaged in places that are strange, but known to be stumbled upon by the intended audience. Why would it be so easy for Aunor to find a message left for, say, Crow?

Wolf would hide it better than that, and Crow would know better.
