Ooh! Maybe if they kids wear stuff to remember the autobots maybe the autobots can where stuff to remember the kids they were close to!
Oh my goooood yes yes 10000000000000000000000000x yes These are mainly for their Alt Modes but
Optimus is the most subtle, but he has one of Miko's little dolls as a mirror decoration in his cabin. For Raf, he has a little orange robot on his dashboard, who's comically large red glasses shake during bumpy roads. For Jack, it's more subtle, but he carries a small picture in a hidden compartment, taken by Jack after Optimus had returned to them post Orion incident. Just the two of them.
Bumblebee carries with him one of Raf's old toy cars, something he treasures. He's had help to fix it up and remake the controller to fit his hands. When he was bored, he sometimes played with it. Additionally after that one time they raced in Jasper, Bee has a 1st place ribbon hung from his mirror, in honor of their win that night.
Ratchet too carries a small little dashboard robot, which he vehemently denies to be Raf's favorite color. But no one can fault him for having it, especially after seeing how close he was with Raf.
Bulkhead has his dashboard covered in stickers from Miko, and even has some of said artwork show on his frame, which he bears proudly and makes sure to regularly apply a cover on to keep it all from scuffing in any way.
Arcee being a bike in her alt mode, had some minor difficulty figuring out how she would pay homage to her dear partner. In the end, her choice was very simple, but fitting. A picture of herself, Jack and June, that she had secured to her windshield and no winds could ever make it fly off no matter how fast she flew. Next to it, was a picture of Cliffjumper that the boys had dug up from somewhere.
Smokescreen was unsurprisingly fond of mementos from Earth, and after the time he and Jack spent together, he carries a keychain Jack totally didn't sneak him from K.O Drive Inn kid meals. It's of , appropriately, a race car with his prior paint job.
Wheeljack carries with him, a picture of Miko Bulk, himself and Magnus of all mechs, Miko in her Apex Armor. The katana he bears as weapons also now have a few of Miko's lovely artworks. And in a move that would no doubt make her proud, he started adding harmless dye packs to his bombs. Has made for hilarious reactions from his foes in battle.
Ultra Magnus chose to not bear any on his own frame, as protocol dictated unauthorized modifications to be reprimanded if not properly screened. But at the very least, in his files, there are reports of the 3 human allies, each given the proper honors of war heroes they had earned.

Inspiration has struck again! Okay so, ya know Clementine from the walking dead game?(if you haven’t played it I highly recommend it, make sure you start at season 1) okay so I’m specifically looking for a season 2 Clementine with a mix of season 4, okay so reader is badass, protective, dangerous(oooooo), and grew up in another universe separate from the bots and kids where a zombie apocalypse has occurred! She tries her best to protect the kids while she’s stuck in their world, looking for this other kid she’s was taking care of as well, and I kinda wanna see how she would react to first meeting the bots? I think she’d try and shoot them or attack them if they were in their holoforms, if it was Raf she’d probably try to protect him as she seems to have a soft spot for younger kids and he reminds her of the kid she was protecting- and I’m rambling:,) sorry! Anyways, this request is for Optimus, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Wheeljack! If you don’t know much about Clementine look up some videos of her! She is awesome and I love her! Oh and she has no hesitation to kill.
(Just a warning I may request something similar to this in the future:,) I have a problem😔)
Thank you! *virtual Head pats*(if okay ofc)
P.S. Feel free to take any creative ideas you have that would fit to the personality I described and add it, I really just enjoy seeing what you come up with
Okay, so first thing fist, I don't know shit about the walking dead. Like, I was never into that stuff because i wasn't interested in it. (I was more into transformers, undertale, and tmnt at the time). But I will try my best, so thank you from the bottom of my heart that you tell me her personality. (I suck at reasurch), but I will try my best. Hope you enjoy it.

Optimus
When optimus met (Y/N) it was by accident.
Optimus was trying to stop the decepticons from getting a new artifact but when it activated, it and the next thing he sees is a human, in torn up clothes, has a few weapons, including the crossbow they where holding
The human looks between optimus and the decepticons.
After a silent moment, the human quickly throws some things on the ground and soon sparks start to fly.
It blinds them and the human takes their chance to run.
When optimus saw this, he ran after them.
Soo. He found them and told them he ment no harm and he needed to get them out of here.
Let's say (Y/N) dident trust him and yelled at him. Saying that they won't be tricked by a zombie cybertronian!
He was very confused but explained he was not a zombie.
Once he gained their trust, he brought them to the base.
They immediately took responsibility to protect the kids.
They also explained to the team about their world.
They felt terrible for them and told them that they welcomed to stay.
They told them they would rather return to their world since their jack, miko, and Ralphal are still alive and needed their help.
The team then decided to help them home.
Ratchet
When ratchet met (Y/N) it was by accident.
He was alone at base, fixing the land bridge.
When suddenly it malfunctions and causes a explosion.
When the smoke cleared, he is met face to face with a human.
This human was in army clothes, had weapons on their back, and they where holding a crossbow.
After a silent moment of looking at eachother, the human says his name in a whisper.
He told them how they got here.
(Y/N) explained that they where from a diffrent universe where planet earth has become a waste land and there is zombies.
They cried and huge ratchet.
Since ratchet was dead in their universe.
Poor ratchet dude, he had to explain to the team how a new human has been brought to the base
And that it was his fault.
(Y/N) took their role as the kids portecter.
When ratchrt offer to send them back, (Y/N) told them that there was no point of returning home.
Earth of her universe was dead. The autobots are no more, the kids are dead, and the decepticons are all zombies.
They welcome (Y/N) with open arms.
Wheeljack
Wheeljack was flying in his ship when he came across a black hole.
He accidentally got to close and was sucked in.
He found himself in another world.
It was earth but not.
That's when he met (Y/N).
He tried to go into a military base to steal something but came across (Y/N) who attacked him, thinking that he was a zombie.
When wheeljack explained that he wasent a zombie, he took this chance to look over (Y/N).
That's when he noticed how they where dressed.
Crossbow, guns, army clothes, coverd in dirt.
He asked what happened and (Y/N) explained that the decepticons realized a new weapon.
It caused everything alive, including cybertronians, to become zombies.
They where currently the only human alive that (Y/N) believes.
She helps wheeljack to fix his ship, in return he brings her to his world since there's nothing left for them here
He agrees.
After they return to his world, he interduce them to the autobot teams
Wheeljack has a new space traveling buddy.
Bumblebee
Bumblebee met (Y/N) when he was fighting Soundwave.
Soundwave opened 2 portals next to Bumblebee and sent him to another dimension.
That's when he met himself but as a zombie.
Bumblebee ran for his life, fighting for his life and soon found some shelter.
That's when he met (Y/N)
He beeped at them, trying to tell them he wasent a zombie.
Thankfully (Y/N) understood him.
They explained what happened and that the kids, autobots, decepticons, and life on earth are all gone.
Bumblebee felt bad, but offered to bring them back to his world.
(Y/N) was super happy and agreed.
They took him to the now abandoned autobot base and showed them the still intact ground bridge.
When he activated it, he wen thru with (Y/N).
The team was so happy to see him again and welcomed (Y/N) with open arms.
The kids loved (Y/N) and (Y/N) was so happy to see the kids again.
(Y/N) told optimus that they where so happy to see him again.
Since in their world, optimus went missing.
He told them that he is happy that he has a new friend and teammate.

How are you and your au co-maker friend doing? Any new ideas?
She is fine, for now she is really busy and has really hard time, so she wouldn't have time to even make anything with me. Wish her luck guys, because she is doing her best ❤️❤️❤️
And she isn't exactly co-maker, because she is from time to time making random content about transformers prime or rid15, I'm mainly creating content here, but thank to her Sideswipe is tampon now. :D
Tumblr media
But i can tell off what we were talking about last time:
Like lately we chosen to add that after Starscream almost died in explosion, when he was still mainly into scientific stuff, not only making Megan angry (when war was still active conflict and 90% of the population weren't dead), he met that time KO (when he was still teenager) and without getting licences, because how he could get his licence while the war, when practically all schools were in ruins XD So they met that time, KO helped him in coming back to better shape. This is why KO came to Nemesis in TFP with his husband Breakdown, because Starscream saw him as a trustworthy doctor. I don't need to add that they fucked AS ADULTS ON NEMESIS, when Breakdown was still around, because he was fine that KO wants to life in open relationship. They were still happy together :DD
We talked about the fact that Bee couldn't look at Sideswipe optics at the beginning, because he has Smokescreens optics and after all this shit that happened, it was really painful for him. He drank himself into unconsciousness, Ofc Grimlock and Danny were trying to comfort him as much he could (at that time Drift wasn't around yet, he joined with his sons team after 8-9 months Bee, Strongarm and Sides came to earth). He felt terrible, because it wasn't Sides fault that he born or that his best friend, which he treated like his older brother and first love in his life, made children when both of them was drunk. He didn't won't to hurt him or take revenge on the poor teen, which also had hard childhood like Bee and slowly but surly start to get close with. Sometimes he even thought of if he didn't leave him that day they told him about the protoforms, he would be now Sideswipe and Sunstreaker's father and maybe even marry KO. But those are only his thoughts. I was thinking of making black and while comic of it, but in his bot form not human. XDDD
We also lately write A LOT about Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack. Mainly we was thinking what Magnus was doing after the war and becasue he was like this big badass judge, he could just become the guy how almost rule Cybertron. I mean by it, that Cybertron came back to the almost state after the war and that is not a good news XD. "And what about Ratchet?" nothing, he doesn't give a fuck about him. After all, he himself as a guy in new created council vote to send Ratchet on Earth as his retirement and still explain himself by saying " this is last wish of Optimus Prime". I just like the idea that right hand of Prime, makes Cybertron great again, causing fulling prisons by ex cons and not happy with his decisions war veterans. It would also explain WHY FUCKING CYCLONUS WAS IN THE FUCKING FINAL, because he would be rebeliant that wants freedom for his ppl. He also created slums :), idk I think it's cool idea that Ultra Magnus was a villain of the series And I think Arcee would see sense in that and after all those years and ptsd, also got mature, she would fine peace in new worlds order. But she would still take back her father and brother back on Cybetron... at least be too kick his fucking ass. XDD And practically nobody can do anything with, only Bulkhead is living his best life as a worker, it doesn't mean that he is now fighting, he is just tired and like Arcee wants some peace in his life. After they banned contacting with earth and he could talk with Miko, he needed finally some peace. The same with KO and Smoke. He is living now with Wheeljack AS A FRIENDS!!! But from time to time, Wheeljack is showing up at Magnus mantion to fuck him, say hey to his daughter and then disappear for next 9 months. I'm just seeing NeoCybertron as a Gotham City but as a planet XDDD
I can't write more words, so do you have any more question? XD

Basically, after Chromedome tried to throw him off a cliff, which led to Ultra Magnus having to pull him out of a Constructicon pile instead of getting to berate Prowl, he disappeared. Locked down and hid so the trial went on with Prowl watching the livestream and only emailing a few people. By the time people are looking around for him, Optimus, after their brief talk and his email to check on the Lost Light, which led to baby time, he's gone fully underground.
Ironhide made a few attempts but assumed the Starscream thing is why they aren't speaking. Wheeljack tried to eventually but couldn't find him. Only when Optimus Prime suspiciously side eyes Starscrema do people at large notice Devstator is missing.
This unnerves everyone, and Chromedome gets a lot of incredible side eye because the last confirmed sighting was Chromedome attempting to push him off a cliff.
Prowl showing up nearly a year later when First Aid and company temporarily show up to Luna-1 to make contact and find it crawling with Consructiprowl Babies and a Spider Baby with Fort Max attempting to learn knitting from Prowl (he likes the number patterns) and Tarantulas (the silk has multiple uses including medical and construction which he discovered with Hook and Mixmaster that Tara is getting on with a startling amount). He is then forced to Zoom Cybertron and Optimus Prime as proof, and everyone has to deal with the fact he keeps pausing to say things like "Black Arachnia do not bite your brother. Grimlock take your sister to Max. He brought home some turbofoxes for her to practice hunting on his last trip." and "Excuse me. I must go remove my son from Red Alert’s office. He is attempting to build a functional suspension bridge out of the extra comm parts again." and bending out of sight to whisper "Ask your sire. Mix should have some juice boxes. If not torment Max. He keeps a stash he thinks I am unaware of." while occasionally bouncing a round many legged black and gold blob with teeth occasionally.
Of course, it could have been resolved sooner if anyone thought to ask Springer who got a group zoom months ago to introduce him to his new sibling.
Informed to please tell us important developments doesn't improve things because then a year and a half later he sends out a birth announcement of Chase and Strongarm who were born from "a mutually agreed upon by all committed parties resolving of emotional and sexual tension from myself and Fortress Maximus".
The Luna-1 Polycule is incomprehensible to most.
Prowl spends him time sending out judgemental and vaguely ominous unasked for memos with his opinions on current and sometimes secret events to people as he calls in his spies and continues to den down mostly in relative secret and peace because he'd probably murser Megatron and anyone else pinging his danger sense on sight given his current active protocols.
Which is fair as hell, I mean as much as an asshole Prowl is known to be it's fair he bolted after being thrown off a cliff
Also they livestreamed the trial
Makes sense he'd still wanna figure out what's going on with the LL
Optimus: Starscream
Starscream: ?
Optimus: what did you do
Starscream: what do you mean "wHaT dId yOu dO"
Optimus: I mean, Starscream what did you do
I mean logical to think Chromedome may be at fault because the cliff pushing
The fact that we set a (relatively to million year robots) short carrying period is leading to so many cool baby boom consequences
Also awww on Fort Max trying to knit, also makes sense Prowl and Tara would like to knit
Less aww and more shhffjfjf on Mix and Hook learning the more useful applications of alien spider silk via getting freaky with Tarantulas
First Aid: oh so you were here
Yess on all the cute little pause moments, dear fuck yes that's adorable as hell Prowl it is it is
Sparkling!BlackArachnia has to be so cute too like yes
oh Springer. I hope he's got like a notebook to keep track of this mess of a family too.
Mutually agreed upon by all committed partners resolving of the emotional and sexual tension from myself and Fort Max
Aka, those two were advised to fuck each other's brains out
Love how Prowl has grown into this sort of mostly remote role into this with most of his interactions outside of the moon being online but him certainly wanting to know what's going on. Especially since for him, parenthood has ultimately made him even more aggressive and anxious towards those he does not like. I pity anyone who arrives on Luna-1 meaning harm.

i was rewatching rotb cause i’m having a bad day and i know we all understand that this version of mirage is very different then the idw and g1 depiction, when it comes to personality
g1 mirage is very aloof and proper and rotb is pretty much the exact opposite
so it’s natural to think they are different in other aspects such as his skills and stealth as an autobot and we see this in the way the other autobots talk about mirage
“mirage isn’t exactly known for being quiet” -Arcee (my queen )
“Way to be incognito” -optimus (and his general attitude towards mirage)
i’m sure there’s more quotes i had to stop watching half way through cause i had to do something
And at first glance you’d think they would have good reason to think that
rotb mirage gives off an air of not giving a shit about what people think, he’s loud, makes jokes and laughs at inappropriate times, and he has a goddamn Porsche as an alt.
on the other hand g1 mirage, as i said before, is quiet, aloof, and very stiff socially wise when it comes to other autobots and to top it off was in spec-ops (his entire job was to not be noticeable)
it also reflects in how their outlier abilities differs (as it’s often changed up from continuity to continuity)
you wouldn’t fault the autobots for thinking that mirage wouldn’t be very good at keeping a low profile
but when i was rewatching i noticed that, they’re very off the mark
yes he loud and gives off the annoying brother vibes but when it comes to laying low he does it very well
e.g
- when we first see mirage he’s hiding in his alt mode (a Porsche) and at first it seems like a bad choice but he hides in an area (rich person garage) where there’s heavy security and other just as flashy cars where not a lot of people would come through casually, so it’s not the worst hiding spot
- when noah first try’s to break in, he doesn’t freak out or try to scare him off, which he could’ve done cause it was legit just him and noah down there, just re locks his doors. when he does get in and starts to hot wire him he again doesn’t freak out and just lets noah think he’s a normal ass car. he only goes off when security comes up and points a gun at noah
- when noah and mirage are on the bridge running from the cops, the cop taps the back of mirage and swings him around and when noah freaks out and asks him to “do somEthinG pLeAse!” he turns his lights on FIRST so the cop doesn’t see and then transformers around noah
-before he uses his holograms when running from the cops he waits for a truck to block the cops view before he projects his holograms
- when the autobots are arguing over how to get the key from the museum it’s mirage that suggests they use noah “He can fit through one of those little doors take the key and leave a nice little “iou” :3”
-when noah and mirage go to break in noah starts freaking out a bit and tells mirage he has to “switch it up, turn into a boat or a helicopter or something” but what does mirage do? turns into a god damn garbage truck
-when elena noah and the autobots first get to peru wheeljack brings up the celebration that closes up pretty much the whole city cause there’s just so many people in the streets. it’s MIRAGE that suggests a night mission and it’s OPTIMUS that doesn’t want to (noah was the one to suggest he and elena go)
again i’m sure there’s more but i’m tired and i gotta finish rewatching it
i just love the idea that this stupid man is one of the sneakiest of the autobots stuck on earth

Could you do platonic with Wheeljack, Smokescreen, and Bumblebee (seperate) with female cybertronian reader, who is practically Team Mom/Big Sister role. Always looking after them, making sure they are ok and fussing over the younger ones whenever they get hurt and would often be seen letting the mech rest their head on her after a long day. Their reaction when she gets hurt during battle but hiding it because she didn’t want him to get worried.
I picked HCs for this, since it seemed like an easy option and I'm pretty tired, even though it's only the afternoon lol. The Jackie one is a bit different but eh
~Bumblebee~
•Bee is definitely the baby of the group anyway, so you’re extra protective of him
•You’re a lot like Ratchet and Bee feels like he doesn’t need the two of you to look after him and your behavior sometimes annoys him
•You’re not having any of it, and you tell him he can’t get rid of you that easily
•It’s all playful of course and it’s not like you’re stalking him around the base, you’ve just got his back in a fight and lecture him when he’s reckless, stuff like that
•You’ve also got a little bit of medic training, so you help him when Ratchet is busy patching someone else up
•One time though, Bee could’ve sworn he saw you got hit, but you keep denying it
•Bee believes you, for about two seconds before you collapse and he can see energon leaking from your side
•He hurries to get Ratchet, buzzing frantically even though you’re telling him you’re fine, which you definitely are not
•Bee and Ratchet basically drag you to the medbay and Ratchet gets to patching you up
•Bee is worried, and he feels bad for being mad at you for looking out for him all the time, because he feels like you got hurt because of him
•When you’re feeling better, Bee apologizes to you and just smack him on the shoulder and tell him not to worry about it and that it was just a scratch
~Wheeljack~
•Jackie isn’t the youngest mech either, but you’re like an older sister to all the wreckers
•He has great respect for you and he knows how you can be, since he’s known you for such a long time
•You always took hits for others, even when you really didn’t need to and you put other before yourself all the time
•So when you one day come back from a fight with an injury you’re clearly trying to cover up, Jackie sits you down and tells you to drop the act and let him help
•You reluctantly do so and let him patch you up
•Jackie has been patching himself up on his own for a long time now, so he’s gotten pretty good at it
•He just reminds you that you need to let others help you and that even though he appreciates you worrying about him, he’s a grown mech and can take care of himself
~Smokescreen~
•Smokescreen can be a bit oblivious at times so a lot of the time he doesn’t even really notice how much you’re looking out for him
•How you give him so some of your energon rations when you feel like he didn’t get enough, stuff like that
•But when you basically take a blaster shot for him, he does notice
•He feels super bad because he feels like you didn’t need to get hurt and that he could’ve taken the hit and been fine
•He most definitely would not have been fine, you’re not fine either, but he keeps arguing with you about it while you’re laying in the medbay
•You’re trying to tell him it doesn’t even hurt that much and that you’re gonna be fine
•Smokes absolutely thinks you’re going to die and that it’s his fault
•Even Ratchet tells him it’s not as bad as it looks, but it takes a while to convince him
•Ratchet tells you to stay put for a while in the medbay though and Smokes eventually falls into recharge mode next to the table you’re laying on
•He was super worried and he takes note of a lot more stuff you do for him after that

Because training arcs/episodes help expose characters to their faults, discover ways to get through them, and grow into better characters as a result. Or even set up what will become a bigger moment for the character in their development! It just baffling how much they waste Bee's whole point in season 1, and in return made the Terrans less appealing/bland/incomplete. {3-3}
You really point out all the reasons EarthSpark unnecessarily inserted too many side characters and events into a single season. In most Transformers media--since it's also to advertise their toys--every character is a main character. However EarthSpark's premise is different but the Terrans and Maltos barely got the spotlight despite being main cast. Bee should've be the main side character since he's supposed to be their MAIN teacher. Not Megatron, not Optimus; certainly not any of the Decepticons.
You also pointed out how Bee almost falls into the category of "unnecessary appearance" after Part 3.
The first being Arcee. She appears in 2 1/2 episodes and didn't impact the Terrans whatsoever.
Wheeljack comes second because we only saw him 4 times many episodes apart. Prime Wheeljack made lesser appearances in TFP S1 yet I remembered he's in the show, while I forgot about ES Wheeljack until the finale. Worst, he's a SCIENTIST. Can't the show made him at least a tad curious about the Terrans? G1 Wheeljack is literally Shockwave with ethics & morals. If this is the same guy, why didn't he play a part in exploring the Terrans biology? --which is another big potential lore the show didn't delve into except the school episode.
Third is Tarantulas. I wish the finale had Tarantulas helping the Terrans when GHOST came, not Shockwave. He's the only Decepticon who had bonded with a Terran personally. He's perfect! Why replace him with the two 'Waves who aren't even in good terms with the Terrans? "He prefers to be alone" my foot.

hi I love your work
I wanna ask if I can request the tfp bots would react to meeting a bot that hates humanity because they meet a human child who they developed a deep bond with but was kill by some bad humans and after that day they despise and resent humans and just seeing one is a huge Berserk bottom for them
Sure! Love me some angst!
TFP Autobots Reacting to a Bot that Hates Humans (because humans killed the Bot's human partner)
Optimus Prime:
-Optimus would be deeply saddened by this Bot's story. He would hate to think about Earth's creatures being violent, and making the same mistakes that Cybertronians have in the past
-Despite this, he would remind the Bot that hating humans isn't the answer.
"I sympathize with the tragedy you have suffered, friend. The loss of an innocent life, one whom you were close with, at the hands of any creature, is unacceptably cruel. However, might I remind you that, whatever human kind's faults...Cybertronian kind has committed its share of atrocities, likewise...perhaps even worse than that of human kind's. It is best not to judge a species by its most dangerous examples, for every species is capable of both great cruelty, and great acts of kindness."
-He'd constantly be encouraging the Bot to give humans another chance.
Ratchet:
-Learning the Bot's story would really catch Ratchet off-guard. After all, Ratchet complains about humans all the time...but, even though he won't admit it, he cares deeply for the children.
-So the thought of HUMANS harming other humans is very striking. He usually worries that a Decepticon might harm the kids. But, then again, there's also MECH.
-Ratchet wouldn't say much, but, inside, he'd wonder what HE would do if a human were to hurt Raf.
-Who knows. He might even tell the Bot that, although humans have their faults, the children have really grown on him. But he'd never tell the CHILDREN that, of course.
Arcee:
-She's probably the most sympathetic, having lost her own partners
-Not to mention she doesn't know WHAT she'd do if anything ever happened to Jack
-She'd encourage the Bot to go easy on humans, though, and, despite being sympathetic, she might be a bit mistrusting of the Bot
-After all, if the Bot hated humans enough to hurt Jack, Arcee would flip
Bumblebee:
-Bee would be fiercely protective of Raf
-He'd find the Bot's story sad, but he'd probably be the first to intervene if the Bot tried to harm a human
-Bee is used to stopping Arcee from going on crazy revenge sprees, so he wouldn't be afraid to do so in this situation as well
-If the Bot ever tried to attack a human, Bumblebee would stand in the corner making sad eyes, like: "Don't do it!"🥺
-Awww!
Bulkhead:
-He'd be genuinely curious
-How did the Bot's human partner manage to get scrapped by another human?
-Let's hope the Bot never gets into an argument with Bulkhead, because Bulk might even be a little judgmental, accusing the Bot of being a lousy guardian.
-He'd be suspicious of the fact that a giant robot was unable to stop tiny humans from terminating their partner
-Someone should really remind Bulk that MECH exists, and they're capable of fighting Cybertronians. Don't worry. Optimus will probably tell him off.
Wheeljack:
-He'd point to Miko, and say: "What are you talkin' about? Humans are great, if you ask me. Just look at this one. She scrapped an Insecticon singlehandedly, with nothin' but the push of a button. BOOM."
-He'd probably get along with this Bot pretty well, since he's so laid back
He'd tell the human-hating Bot:
"Don't worry, pal. Miko, Bulk and I will keep whatever trouble you have off your tail. Be it pesky Decepticons or bad-news humans. Nothin' a good grenade can't fix. Right, Miko?"
Miko: "Boo ya!"
Smokescreen:
-He's VERY no-thoughts-head-empty about this whole situation
-He even makes jokes about it
"That Bot REALLY hates humans, huh? Haha! Maybe they're secretly afraid of them. There's gotta be...like...a name for that, right? Human...aphobia? Squishy-phobia?"
-He tries to scare the Bot by sneaking up on them and talking in a squeaky voice: "HELLO, (Bot name)! I'm a scary human, coming to accidentally get stepped on and squished. WooooOOOOoooo!"
-Of course, the Bot would never fall for his tomfoolery, and everyone would reprimand Smokescreen for it afterwards
Ultra Magnus:
-He hasn't been on this planet that long, so he might even believe this new Bot's perspective on humans
-He'd ask Optimus: "Is it true what our new recruit claims about humans? If they are not to be trusted, we should do something about it."
Of course, Optimus would say: "(name of Bot)'s judgement is clouded by revenge, Ultra Magnus. Rest assured, the Autobot cause may never have made it as far as it has without the help of our human friends."

Ok idea, the district kids and their potentional Guardians.
District 1 kids(Marvel and Glimmer): Ultra Magnus or Kup, either by Ultra Magnus strict nature or Kups story will humble them.
District 2 kids(Cato and Clove): Jazz or Mirage heck maybe even Starscream, both came from upper class before Cybertron fell to war so they can help break the kids out of their mindset.
District 3 kids(Calling them Chip and Wire): Soundwave, Shockwave, or Wheeljack. Techies have to stuck together
District 4 kids: Either Rodimus since he bonded with one of them, or Seaspray or Nautica
District 5 kids(Calling them, Jules and Watts): Jolt, a lesser known autobot with Electric powers
District 6 kids: Cyclonus, he's an alien jet he'd be so cool to them.
District 7 kids:
District 8 Kids: Swindle or Knockout, with Swindle trying to get them to but "authentic" 21st century clothing and Knockout just telling them hot Goss or making fun of Capital people's clothes.
District 9 kids: Honestly hard pick
District 10 kids: The Predacons, they'd especially love Razorclaw or Headstrong
District 11(Rue and Thresh): The Dinobots, mainly because I love the idea of Rue riding Grimlocks T-Rex mode
Katniss and Peeta: Megatron or Optimus
I really love this idea! I think you made a lot if great pairings for the tributes and ideas of their personality and names👍
If I have to be honest though I sort of limited most of the potential tribute partners to members of the Lost Light Crew and the tributes I do know.
While your list is good I'm happy to show you what I had in mind.
District 1 and 2 are basically pariahs among the bots and their fellow tributes, especially Cato. Yes, the crew understands that these tributes are basically a bunch of brainwashed kids who have been manipulated to be killing machines by the start of the game but it still erks a lot of them that when Rodimus gave them a way out they still chose to attack the humans. A 12 year old even!
Not that the Career tributes mind since. their equally as hostil at first. They're scared and anxious, because in their minds they blew it. My headcanon for how the Career Tributes are that the mindset and mentality is that you "Come back a winner or you don't come back at all". They were expected to die in that arena or come out a victor. Nothing else. But there all still alive and the games are ruined. Yes, through no fault of their own but they doubt that it'll make a good explanation to their families or trainers. Even if they do make it home the only thing ready for them is disgrace.
But there are some bots that try to be friendly or at least cordial with them. Like you meantioned Ultra Magnus is a firm and strict character that will get them in line, his attitude may be reminiscent to their teachers. He keep an optic on them but also make sure their equally attended to. He may not approve of their mindset but refuses to discriminate against them.
Megatron would be a surprising presence around them, given that he did threaten to vaporize the group back at the arena. But it stems mostly from his own complicated feelings. Because to him, these Career Tributes were so much like his followers during the early stages of the war. How many young bright-eyed Cybertronians came to him looking to change the oppressed system and better their station in life only for him to turn them into ruthless war machines? How many did he indoctrinate into his cause and convince anyone who wasn't apart of it to be there enemies. To Megatron, he was the Districts, manipulating his own people to be machines of war instead of agents for change. There are actions he didn't regret when it came to the war, but robbing the futures of the next generation was something that will always weigh on him. So , he will check on the Career tributes to make sure there handling everything well for the most part. He's the one to notice how agitated and hostil they were and thought to bring Rung
Rung is the next and by far the most significant figure to the Career Tributes, he's the one to really sit down with them and try to help them sort their emotions and thoughts about their circumstances. He doesn't have any bias towards them or their Districts, and he does his best to let them vent and just listen to their thoughts.
District 3 and 5 would definitely be great friends with Brainstorm and Preceptor, given that both those districts have a background in technology and engineering. The tributes would love observing some of their projects and inventions. Learning how they work.
Though Preceptor and Brainstorm are careful of what they show them and what information is given. Since the last time advance technology and knowledge was left to the humans it caused a whole mess of problems.
Obviously, the District 4 tributes would get along with Rodimus with how friendly he was to the male tribute, who I named Luca Alberts.
With Rodimus being a fishing enthusiasts they swap more stories and advice on the topic. Not to meantion to Luca, Rodimus is the coolest person ever! Rex and orange and captain of his own ship he's definitely someone the 12 year old looks up too!
But Nautica, too, could be someone they like, especially with her interest in marine biology. She had always heard Earth had an interesting ecosystem within her sea. But she be disappointed to know that the tributes haven't been past the coast because the Capital doesn't allow them away too far from the mainland unless it's for specialty catches. A far cry from when humans sailed along the sea for decades. Not to meantion because of the past war and pollution a lot of species are now extinct.
The Rodimus make a promise to Luca that when things get better he let the human take him to all his favorite fishing spots. Nautica says that she wants to explore the ocean with their help.
Members of District 6 aren't the biggest fans of travel, but when it comes to the bots vehicle modes and watching them transform they are immediately interested.
To be honest I don't know what pairs to make up for 7-10, I think overall most of the Lost Light Crew are friendly to the remains tributes and try to make them as comfortable as they can. While there are some who might not be comfortable with organics, there are some who are generally interested in humans and their culture. Swerve has a huge collection of human movies and thinks it's a tragedy that none of the tributes have seen them! He schedules a daily movie night and ask Rewind to project the films for him which he doesn't too. The tributes were never really exposed to media and entertainment like movies and TV shows, things like animation are like magic to them. Most things like that were reserved for the Capital people and for most of them, they didn't have the luxury of media given their poverish backgrounds and how most had to join their Districts industry to support their families. Being with Rodimus and their crew brought a break to there mostly labor focused life. Though they still worry about their families and friends and what their rescue from the arena means for them. Rung is brought in to help them process their concerns and overall trauma concerning the Reaping and their experience before the games.
As for District 8, I've thought of them a lot! Rue would be the apple of most of the crews optics! Especially that of Tailgate and Cyclonus.
Tailgate has never seen humans outside of Swerves films and can't get over how tiny and cute they are. He doesn't make the greatest impression after the humans are allowed out of the tank and he tries to hold one, marveling how much smaller they are to him. Most of the tributes ran from him but Rue stayed and badly said how cute she thought he was!
"I'm not cute! I'm fierce! " Tailgate objected, but from then on he always hung around Rue. He showed her different parts of the ship and carried her with on his hoverboard, the halls often filled with Tailgate and Rues excited cheers.
And when you have Tailgate you get Cyclonus. While the purple mech adores Rue too, he makes sure to remind Tailgate to please be careful with her as humans are fragile creature. Though Rue often test those boundaries.
Once Cyclonus was having a conversation with Tailgate only for the minibot to burst out laughing, confused Cyclonus realized that Rue had climbed all the way to his shoulder blade without him noticing. He immediately startled and snatched Rue in his shoulders scolding her and Tailgate how dangerous that was, that Rue could have fallen or got caught in one of the jabs in his armor and crushed.
Cyclonus and Tailgate are both taken aback at how Rue gushes over what a cute couple they are!
Despite her mischievous nature, Cyclonus genuinely does like Rue and is protective of her. This even extends to her fellow tribute Thresh, these two share a stoic nature and protective streak that comes with the understanding that their strength is what keeps those close to them safe.
Thresh also finds a surprising friend in Whirl. The cyclops bot thinking that Thresh was impressive with his strength for a human is and that silent attitude of his made him extra cool. Basically, Whirl saw it as a challenge to break through Thresh shell. It started with just gruff replies to the helicopters' questions, to warning against certain actions Whirl thought would be "fun," to finally being the reluctant voice of reason to Whirls shenigans. Given Thresh's background, he probably worked hard every day from an early age to help support his sister and grandmother. His district not giving him the option to have fun or just experience his youth. Whirl is chaos incarnent, and while that can be exhausting it brings out a side of Thresh he didn't know to how much he enjoyed participating in Whirls games.
Now we get to District 12! With Katniss and Peeta!
Because of Peeta's injury he and Katniss spent some time in the medbay with Ratchet. The medical comes off as gruff and stern but Katniss can't help but respect him. He reminded her of her own mother in his quiet concentration when it came to healing others. Ratchet does his best to assist Katniss in addressing Peeta's wound and in intent at making sure the teen is well treated.
Peeta often likes to joke or try to make friendly conversation with Ratchet though he's often met with a dry rely and orders to rest instead of chattering on. Not that Peeta is detered and keeps a bright smile while under Ratchets care.
Drift is another bit that Oeeta surprisingly gets close with, given the former visits Ratchets medbay to check up on the bot and interact with the two humans who have joined him there. He likes talking with Peeta and wishes him a speedy recovery, knowing Peeta got his injury while defending a younger tribute Drift sees Peeta as honorable.
Though things get awkward when Drift mentions how sweet it was that Katniss was treating Peeta and says that they have a beautiful story. Believing that the pair were getting closer romantically because of seeing Peeta's confession on the interviews. This gets a frown from Katniss and a sheepish look from Peeta.
After his recovery, Peeta is allowed out of the medbay he makes another friend in Ten. While Ten can't voice much Peeta sees a fellow creative spirit in him when shown the mechs collection of hand made figures and the flowers he's drawn on himself.
Peeta impresses Ten by drawing items on his armor skillfully, with the enthusiasm he never had when decorating his shops cakes and cookies. Tens more than happy to share his paints with the tiny human.
Going back to Katniss, there's another bot she gets close to and that's Megatron.
At the beginning Katniss believed Megatron was the same as his past self that attempted to take over Earth. Brutal and bloodthirsty but over time her expectations of him were dismissed.
Yes, he came off as cold and standoffish, but more than anything, he was respectful to all the tributes and was observant of their needs, even the Careers who again he had threatened to vaporize.
Seeing this Katniss finally asked him why he even tried with them, his response "Because there as much victims to this system as you and the rest are"
Slowly but surely, Katniss begins to hang out in the side lines with the former tyrant. She was never one for socializing and eventually just ended up spending time with Megatron more often then not. Just silently staying in each others presence.
To her surprise one day Megatron ask her about her district, that he understands that they came from a mining background and he admits that he came from a similar industry.
This takes Katniss by surprise, she could never imagine the "Emperor of Destruction" working in dusty mine shaft. They share their lifestyle experiences, comparing the disparaging life and workload of the miners, eventually the topic drifts to Katnisses father who died in a collapse.
"It probably didn't take them long to move you all to a new hole to dig." he chuckled dryly, but at Katniss silence, he backtracks. "Apologies.... I understand your grief, I too have lost many a friend to accidents in the mines"
Megatron admits to Katniss that even before the arrival to the arena, he and the crew had observed them through their network. He saw her volunteer for her sister so she wouldn't have been taken. And despite Rodimus's intervention, she very well could have saved her from death. He tells her she's an admirable human and sister.
Katniss might tear up and ask if she'll ever see her family or Earth again.
"I promise to do everything in my power to help you and the rest of the humans return safely home one day"
There's another bit on board that also seems to gravitate to Katniss, with how close she's getting to Megatron its no wonder that Ravage takes an interest in her.
Ravage at first makes Katniss and the other tributes nervous, being seen as a large wild animal at first. Startling them as he actually speaks.
But as he starts to wander near Katniss more Peeta starts to joke that Ravage is possibly mistaking her for "catnip" instead of Katniss, the girl is not amused.

One year to the day! FNaF: Extraordinary's first anniversary is here! If you're wondering what FNaF: Extraordinary is then here it is get back here when you're done reading it! For those who have read it! Today is the day that I made the first chapter public! Marking the one year anniversary of the fanfic's existence. This was also supposed to be the moment where I announce the Prequel! FNaF: Extraordinary: Susie's Story! Unfortunately, the prequel is no longer happening... I just felt that personally the story should be left also as it is, and it required no further expansion. You weren't missing anything, it was just the events leading up to Susie's death and the deaths of the other missing people. However, The Nightmare animatronics were going to feature at one point. This is because Holly would've taken up the role of the Crying Child in the prequel. With her older brother, Fritz and his friends (Kenneth, John, and Cassidy) taking up the roles of the bullies. All of them would get expanded or developed further as the story went on. Eventually they would stop bullying her by the end just before her and Susie's deaths at the hands of... actually it'd be better if you just read the fic for that info. The plans for what I wanted the Nightmares to look like is at the end of this post! Speaking of the past! Do I have any regrets with this fic? Yes! The biggest one is Cassidy's character, she doesn't really develop as a character, only getting worse as the story progresses. And that's my fault, I wanted a villain, a monster, but in the end I just created a character in desperate need of a hug and some therapy. A character that I ruthlessly villainized instead of taking the time or opportunity to do a character study/deconstruction. So she just ended up as a stock-standard "mean girl who did something bad and thinks she won't get caught". I'm not saying she can't be bad, or still do bad things even after she learned her lesson. But I think that as a writer it's important to even have the worst people in your stories reflect every now and then. Just so the audience can at the very least understand them. I plan on rectifying this in another FNaF story that I'll be writing this year. So yeah... Thanks for everything! Some small fun facts about this au: Fritz's design and character is based of TF G1 Wheeljack and the Engineer from TF2. Circus Baby and the other Funtimes were supposed to make an appearance but them and remnant were ultimately scrapped in favor of a blood based magic system. Charlie and Cassidy were supposed to be WAY more sadistic than they ended up being. I wanted there to be more references to the Transformers franchise than the two at the end of the story. Elizabeth was supposed to find out that she wasn't the only witch in the world. There wasn't supposed to be a Nightmare Freddy in the prequel, Nightmare Fredbear would be in that role. Nightmare was last thing Holly saw before she died. There's a reason Nightmare looks like Lefty ;) Nightmare animatronics and the humans they represent: Foxy-Fritz Fredbear-Kenneth Chica-Cassidy Bonnie-John Nightmare-Shhh... No spoilers, go read the fic. ;) And with that I say: Goodbye for now, I'll be back soon!!! (I have stuff to work on)

i'm gonna be deranged and incite au shenanigans, so lets say that an accident with a spacebridge has transported Rachet into the strayverse (if he's already existent in the strayverse, no he isn't), and of course the first he does is yell at thea, asking where he is and being belligerent about it. (plot hole if you asked how he knows thea but not her world, I imagine thea to be a dimensional traveler and thats why she exist in your other continuities.) Plasmaclaw's overprotectiveness would kick in and he'd yell at Ratchet saying how he's the only one who can talk to anthea like that, but he's gonna end up teasing anthea with ratchet lol.
Addi my dear, please know this idea has beyond brought me joy and hilariousness.
Because I had in fact been tempted to mess with multiversal shenanigans of all kinds so, mind reader??
Anyway Ratchet does indeed exist in the Astray-Verse! Actually you can take my recent redesign of him as the version in Thea's Verse--
Anywho~
We shall say that, in this scenario, shenanigans with a TFP Space Bridge, perhaps attempting to amplify it with say, Cybermatter? Resulted in the following discovery:
Multiversal Bridges.
As Ratchet found out, when he was dropped in the middle of a military base, almost reminiscent of his own familiar quarters on Jasper, and--
Wait, where was everyone. Where is the bridge!? And why can he not contact any of them!?
He was gonna kill Wheeljack and Knockout for whatever they probably did. [Spoiler Alert: None were at fault]
After a week without finding anyone, or having issues contacting his team, Ratchet finally managed to hotwire a way to contact at least someone.
It just so happened to be the same private frequency the Strays used when rescuing Decepticon deserters.
Unaware of this fact, Ratchet just went to the coordinates sent, grumbling at the fact he could not bridge to them.
Safe to say, the meeting of Stray-Anthea with her team and TFP Ratchet were a chaotic 20 minutes, as the medic recognized her quite quickly, and scolded her for not sending everyone else, or why they even had to meet here and--
S!Thea: I'm sorry, but how do you know me?
TFP!Ratchet: I beg your pardon? I am your medic, how would I not!?
S!Thea:Uh, no, my medic is Ratchet and Cloud, not--
TFP!Ratchet: I would hope I certainly am! I highly doubt many others could handle a human who bleeds Energon!!
At that, Thea was quick to grab a scanner, frowning as she, Cloud and Proxy got the necessary information, while an agitated Ratchet watched, arms crossed and confused.
Plasma stood 5 feet from his ward, a growl of his engines as he looked at the familiar-yet-unfamiliar mech.
After a few more minutes of confusion, the scans confirmed it.
This was Ratchet. But not their Ratchet.
Oh boy. This was gonna be interesting to explain at base.
It was in fact, not as easy to explain, but it was clear at the very least: This Ratchet was from a world where the war had ended fairly recently, knew Anthea [and her antics], and had arrived here by a space-bridge mishap.
Plasma's overprotectiveness was justified, I mean, in the few horus they'd known THIS Ratchet, they knew that...well, an Anthea existed in his world, one who'd gone through a similar ordeal to the one of this world.
So, more than a few times, Ratchet received a warning growl from the former assassin, when he would get a bit frustrated with the young woman. Said overprotectiveness faded with time however, as they bonded or rather, found one common thread:
Returning the attitude Anthea gave them, tenfold.
Research into multiversal bridging could not come faster, she thought, now that she has 2 Ratchets checking on her vitals, and sassing her back for the bullshit shenanigans she would pull on missions and more.
-------
And also, now I got Dimensional Traveler Strays in my head, wtf that's such a cool idea???

I'm not really a blogger, but I figured I would dump some writing here. Also can be found on AO3 here for previous chapters.
This is a mixed alternate AU, where I'm kind of just pulling things from G1, TF: Prime, maybe Earthspark, other fandom headcanons.
Wheeljack x Human AFAB OC, fully platonic and SFW. Just a sappy, fluffy sweet relationship.
Chapter after the cut.
//
Evenings on this planet were the hours that the Autobot’s resident medical officer had come to appreciate the most. There was a darkened stillness in the atmosphere that wasn’t present on Cybertron, even before the war. Their homeworld had always been overdeveloped and loud, cities and infrastructure covering large swaths of the planet, leaving little room for growth. What Cybertron had left in the way of “frontier” wasn’t much more peaceful, especially after the chaos had begun. The magnetic winds were only background noise compared to the constant roar of battle in the air and on the ground. It had been a very long time since Ratchet had experienced peace and quiet. Every nanosecond was spent running from one end of an infirmary to another, constantly on the edge of collapse while having to focus on saving the lives of the catastrophically damaged and maimed; victims of a war that disgusted him.
This planet, while not home by any means, had finally offered a desperately needed respite from all the horrors that they had fled. Their circumstances were not ideal; their situation was quite dire actually, but at least the evenings in their environment were quiet.
Humanity, for all its faults, had at least managed not to destroy everything yet, though they were hurtling towards their own ruin at a breakneck pace. It just so happened that the Autobot’s fleeing ship had crashed in the middle of land their institutions were still making an effort to protect, so that meant it was wild and unpopulated—by humans at least. They were too deep in the dense growth of forest, buried nearly all the way into the base of a dormant volcano, for any human to really come near. Apparently Cybertronian construction was more resilient than the Earth’s geological constructs. There was local wildlife, but their presence tended to keep them out of the area.
That meant everything stayed quiet and, perhaps somewhat guiltily, Ratchet preferred this to what they had left behind. He missed home of course; was desperate to return to it because he knew what was at stake. Not everyone on board the Ark shared his feelings, which was understandable. This was not home. The only exception might have been Bumblebee who was more adaptive, but Ratchet knew he would get over it once he got older. Ratchet was far too old to harbor misguided notions of sentimentality about their temporary habitat, especially when there were still so many left on Cybertron that were dying and suffering. But, he had already sacrificed so much, so for the time being, the Autobot medic savored the opportunity to rest.
It was why he tended to prefer watching the monitors in the evenings, having volunteered to do it when they were first abruptly woken from stasis by Teletraan-1 decades prior. The ship’s AI had detected increased geological activity in the area which had triggered the emergency systems. Core personnel had been woken first, with the rest of the Autobots still in stasis in the depths of the ship. Amazingly, they crashed with no casualties, though the ship suffered significant systems and hull damage. Repair was not an option, at least at the moment. Their resources were limited enough, which tended to happen when you were literally chased off your planet with no time to prepare.
So for now, Ratchet watched the perimeter at night. Teletraan-1’s security sensors and cameras were still functioning, and the AI was usually the only thing that kept him company. Thankfully, the algorithm was not very talkative. With Optimus Prime and Prowl offsite, he was technically the only authority around, and that meant the others spent time goofing off somewhere else in the parts of the ship that were still habitable.
That was except for Wheeljack, who along with Ratchet was one of the older Autobots in the primary squad of derelict ship custodians. The Autobot engineer was usually more focused on his scientific pursuits with the aim of keeping them alive, while also alternating smaller repair projects around the ship. He was generally in Ratchet’s vicinity more, considering his technical lab and personal quarters were right next to the infirmary, which also meant there was more opportunity for their engineer to get on his nerves. That said nothing about his ability to somehow land himself in the infirmary through sheer negligence alone, quite often. Wheeljack called it experimentation, while Ratchet called it stupidity.
To his credit, Wheeljack had been taking less risks lately, considering how much energon it would require to put him back together after one of his projects went wrong. He could at least be responsible with his wonton damage when he needed to.
Despite how much of a profound pain in the aft Wheeljack was, he was invaluable, and also a deeply close friend. Because they were practically attached at the hip during the war, Ratchet knew how Wheeljack’s processor worked better than anyone else. That was why when he found out where their meager supply of an energon equivalent was coming from, he hadn’t been quite as upset with Wheeljack as he probably should have been. Wheeljack thought he was doing the right thing, and truthfully, Ratchet had needed the energon—synthesized or not—more than he needed to take a moral stand against petty theft.
Optimus Prime would not agree, but Optimus Prime didn’t need to know. Ratchet certainly wasn’t going to tell him. It would take a massive slip-up for him to find out.
There was a silent understanding between them, where he would let Wheeljack know that it was time. He wouldn’t need to be terribly specific, because the engineer seemed to always know what he meant anyway. So far, they had been lucky and hadn’t been caught by the humans, and none of the other Autobots really wondered specifically how Wheeljack was able to keep them supplied. They just trusted that he knew what he was doing, and he did, just not in the way that they thought when it came to their energon stores.
So when Ratchet saw Wheeljack’s signature returning on their monitors that night, he wasn’t surprised. He had been expecting it, because he had told Wheeljack himself—nonverbally—that they needed more energon, and he didn’t ask questions. Sideswipe had needed extensive repairs on a dislocated shoulder and pectoral plate rupture after finding out that rock slides generally didn’t appreciate an audience. It used up everything they had.
However, as he watched Wheeljack’s approach, it suddenly became apparent that something was wrong. The Autobot was moving faster than normal—certainly faster than any normal human vehicle would be able to move, especially without drawing unwanted attention from authorities. Since the forest roads were secluded, and were largely defunct from Ratchet’s understanding of the area’s history, there weren't any humans patrolling it anyway. That didn’t make it any less suspicious however, and Ratchet’s anxiety immediately started to prickle at the back of his neck.
“Wheeljack, what are you doing!? Are you being chased?” Opening a com link, Ratchet was immediately met with a startled wall of emotion, almost as if the occupant on the other end wasn’t expecting to be contacted.
“No.” The reply was immediate, and abrupt. It was obvious something was wrong, but Wheeljack was hesitating. The tension apparent on their communication channel made Ratchet’s proverbial hackles raise. “But we have a problem.”
“Who’s we in this scenario?” Ratchet fired back, feeling the heat of his temper flare from just this simple back-and-forth. Wheeljack was being frustratingly cagey about why he was traveling at speeds he wasn’t even sure a Cybertronian would deem safe outside the race tracks.
“I need your help,” Wheeljack clarified, and it was at this point Ratchet knew something was really wrong. His tone of voice, usually much more… manic, sounded wrong. So much for his quiet evening.
“What did you do? Are you hurt?” Ratchet wasn’t sure if he should be angry just yet, because it was entirely possible that Wheeljack was gravely injured and he just couldn’t tell on the scanners yet. He said he wasn’t being chased, so what could possibly have Wheeljack so rattled—wait— ”Wheeljack why is there an organic signature on you?!” It was hard to detect initially with Teletraan-1’s scanners, but it was there; faint, beneath Wheeljack’s own personalized spark trace, but now unmistakable.
“Just wait—” Wheeljack was finally off the road, and had arrived through the Ark’s broken loading bay. Ratchet immediately left the monitors to meet him, and at first he wasn’t sure what to think as Wheeljack looked fine, except for the way he frantically transformed to his feet in a stunted, awkward manner that he had never seen before. The medic’s first assumption was that he was injured, possibly by a human, and the traces of an organic reading on him meant that the hapless creature had picked a fight they wouldn’t win. It was a short-lived thought as soon as he saw why Wheeljack had been so delicate in his transformation. Now he was just livid.
Livid, and for the first time completely out of his depth as he stared with cold fear at the human that Wheeljack currently held in his hands. From what he could tell with cursory scans, the human was alive, just unconscious, but there was something else that had Ratchet alarmed.
It was the active energon he could sense on it.
“What happened?” Ratchet quickly recovered from his disbelief and wasted no time motioning for Wheeljack to follow him to the infirmary. One of the perks of all the other Autobots tending to avoid being in his company meant that the infirmary would be empty. One didn’t tend to hang out with the medic, because that typically meant you were with him for a reason. They wouldn’t be bothered, and absolutely no one else could know about this.
“I.. I don’t know…” Wheeljack faltered, and already Ratchet could hear the guilt in his words. “The energon cube…” He trailed off distantly as he followed closely behind Ratchet nearly at his heels. Wheeljack not knowing something wasn’t necessarily out of the ordinary, but it had never instilled such an oddly distant emotional response in him. He was usually excited about the prospect of finding some new obscure knowledge to fill his processor. This was different, and Ratchet had to know exactly what had happened to cause this.
“Put the human here,” Ratchet said curtly in an attempt to redirect what he knew to be Wheeljack’s racing thoughts, rounding around a medical berth once they made it into the infirmary and motioning for him to put it down.
It was not unnoticed by Ratchet how carefully and delicately Wheeljack figured out how to lay the unresponsive human down on a surface generally reserved for much larger Cybertronians. The Autobot was practically wilting right before Ratchet’s optics, and for a microsecond the medic wondered if he was going to have to treat him too. He had never seen Wheeljack so completely slumped in defeat, armor panels hanging slack off his body as if he was going to fall apart right in front of him. While they had been able to keep petty theft from the humans a secret from Prime for this long… bringing an actual human into their midst—an injured human to be exact—posed a whole new set of problems that were going to be very hard to avoid.
Ratchet would have to think about that part later, because first there was the issue of the human’s injuries needing his attention. He had no idea where to begin, seeing as this was his first time even encountering a human in this type of setting. There was never a need to know how to treat a human, so he was pretty uncomfortably blind. When it became apparent that he was hesitating, Wheeljack said without even looking up.
“Internet.” He was staring down at the human with a concerning level of grief, arms hanging limp at his sides. “She hit her head when she went down.” What the Pit happened?!
Right. That question remained on Ratchet’s thoughts as he quickly tapped into the planet’s Internet database through Teletraan-1’s remote connection, mining it for whatever he could on human anatomy and physiology.  The entire process took mere seconds, and he now had a basic grasp of what it meant to treat a human; something he had hoped it would never come to. Ratchet wished for a lot of things that he couldn’t have, but he wasn’t going to dwell on it. He wasted no time with initial scans to see what he was dealing with: Blunt force trauma to the head, which matched Wheeljack’s very vague retelling of what happened. Superficial bleeding at the site of impact where there was a large laceration that would need manual mending. There were no other signs of internalized cranial trauma above or below the skull, but the inflammation pattern and tissue damage suggested an impact at a fairly high velocity. That meant—
“Wheeljack, this human should be dead.” That significant of an impact to the skull, itself a meager protection for the squishy, organic brain beneath, should have meant instant termination. It was all so fragile and almost pointless from an evolutionary standpoint that it almost made Ratchet mad thinking about how inefficient it all was.
Wheeljack jolted at Ratchet’s analysis and immediately his optics snapped up to meet his. He looked nervous, now rubbing his hands together as if he desperately wanted to do something with them to keep his processor distracted from what was currently going on.
“I didn’t...” The engineer started to say, and Ratchet frowned, realizing that Wheeljack probably thought it looked like he had intentionally caused this. That idea never even occurred to Ratchet, because it was unthinkable. Nevertheless, something happened and Wheeljack knew.
“I know you didn’t, but you need to tell me what happened.” Ratchet said, reverting his attention back down to the human who was deteriorating. Its breathing was more rapid than he knew it should be, and its blood pressure kept dipping; it was an odd physiological combination that had no other explanation other than the energon. The energon would need to be dealt with somehow, but the injury was more urgent. Trying to lift the human’s comparatively small head was an exercise in restraint, but it was immediately apparent that Wheeljack, and his scans had been right. The back of its head was soaked with the red fluid that was human blood, matted and congealed within the organic hair fiber creating a mess. At first Ratchet considered shearing it all off to get it out of the way, but something told him that would be a mistake. This human’s hair was... long and unnatural to the extent that he had to assume it was intentional, which meant it was probably something of great significance. The last thing he needed was a human yelling at him; assuming it survived at all.
“She found me. Knew where I was somehow. I got careless and lingered too long and she confronted me and—” Wheeljack started to explain, and it was incredibly distracting.
“—Are you telling me that this human confronted you? It wasn’t terrified?” Ratchet clarified without looking up.
“She.” Wheeljack corrected. “Her name is Allison.” Ratchet winced in annoyance, wondering why the identity of the human was so important. How did he even know the human’s name? Wheeljack didn’t elaborate further and turned his back, appearing to want to change the subject. Ratchet could see him surveying the supply shelves in the periphery of his vision as if he was trying to formulate his own potential treatment solution for an organic creature that shared no physiological similarities to their own kind. “The energon…” Wheeljack trailed off, lost somewhere out in the cosmos and Ratchet knew he wasn’t going to get any more answers out of him right then and there. That wasn’t his priority anyways.
“This wound needs to be cleaned,” Ratchet muttered to himself, faintly realizing that he wasn’t sure if he had the right chemicals and materials to clean and close the wound. With delicate fingers, and an incredible amount of practiced precision, he was able to pull apart the clumps of fiber to reveal the chaotic damage pattern of a blunt-force wound through the human’s skin. It was still slowly oozing fluids, but there wasn't significant enough blood loss to be a threat. The skin was swelling around the tear, but any major bleeding had stopped. Concussion was still a likely possibility, but the human was already unconscious. Infection was a major risk, so it would need to be sanitized properly.
This was the moment that all of Wheeljack’s pent up terror finally exploded in a manic energy, directed at none other than Ratchet’s dwindling medical repair supplies. He was tearing things off the shelves, looking for what he assumed to be anything they could use as an antiseptic chemical. Finding this highly alarming and counterproductive, Ratchet stopped what he was doing and intervened.
“Wheeljack, stop tearing apart the infirmary! You aren’t going to find what you need by throwing everything around!” He was just fast enough to stop him from potentially destroying a very large containment vessel by dropping it in his haste—something which Ratchet very much needed.
“Hydrogen Peroxide!” Wheeljack blurted as he spun around. His optics had gone wide and he froze, waiting for Ratchet’s judgment. He sounded incredibly stressed, more so than usual.
Hand still grasped firmly around the engineer’s wrist, hovering between them where Ratchet had stopped him as he was turning around—he could not trust Wheeljack wouldn’t impulsively throw said item in an effort to expedite the process—the medic finally understood what his outburst had meant. Hydrogen Peroxide, a disinfecting agent, and Wheeljack was holding it aloft between them.
“That’ll have to do,” Ratchet grunted, letting go of Wheeljack’s arm so that he could hand it over properly. It was possible that Ratchet ripped it out of his grasp a bit more forcefully than he should have. “You still haven’t answered my question,” the medic called over his shoulder as Wheeljack followed him back to the table, his prior outburst fizzled out and depleted. In the interim Ratchet subspaced an anti-static cloth, typically used to stem energon loss on wounded Cybertronians, and began to clean the human’s head. “What happened? ”
“...I told you. She found me.” Ratchet couldn’t tell if Wheeljack was now being intentionally obtuse, or he was really that oblivious under present circumstances.
“Let me ask a better question then, who is this human, and how did this happen?”
Wheeljack looked to the side, clearly avoiding Ratchet’s gaze. “Technically that’s two questions…” “Wheeljack.”
There was a very prolonged pause where the light behind Wheeljack’s optics dimmed, before shifting as the engineer looked at everything but Ratchet in the room. He was stalling, but rather than press him in that moment the medic was more concerned with the actual job he needed to do.
Eventually Wheeljack faltered, air cycling through him as he formulated a response.
“Eh—well—remember that time some cycles ago when you caught me stealing?” Wheeljack was still looking sideways, avoiding Ratchet’s withering glare as he looked up from his task. “The first time I mean.”
Ratchet leaned forward over the prone, unconscious human, hands braced against the berth as he looked at the other Autobot square in the optics. There was no way. “Wheeljack. You’re not telling me this is—” Of course Ratchet remembered what Wheeljack was referring to: the first of many times the irresponsible fool had snuck out behind everyone’s afts to steal energy from the humans. Something else had made that particular time different from the others.
“Yeah… it is.” Wheeljack practically caved in on himself, guilt and shame making him nearly fold over into a posture of submission and despite his utter annoyance, Ratchet hated to see him this way.
“This is the human that saw you.” Ratchet didn’t know how it was possible, so many years later that Wheeljack would just happen to blunder into the same human twice. And of course, it would be Wheeljack to do something so monumentally careless. What were the odds? Unless—
“She found me.” Wheeljack finally said, looking down at the floor in defeat. “I think… she figured out what I was up to because she… remembered; came looking for me.”
—Unless the human had the sense and knowledge to be able to find him on their own… but how?
Ratchet also distinctly remembered telling Wheeljack to deal with it when he’d revealed that a human had seen him. He hadn’t meant for him to terminate it of course, but Wheeljack had never shared exactly what went on that night. When he’d returned to the Ark, he’d certainly noticed that Wheeljack had been… bothered by something, and it was so out-of-character for the Autobot that Ratchet had actually asked him what he’d done. All he’d said was that he’d handled it—and it wouldn’t be a problem. Maybe, Ratchet should have pried a bit more, to ask him what exactly had transpired, but he’d trusted that Wheeljack would resolve the issue without compromising their safety, and his morals.
He’d certainly done one of those. Whether or not there was any reason to be concerned for their safety now was up for debate.
“What happened that night?” Now though, to get a better sense of why he was trying to figure out how he was going to stitch a human’s head wound—the very same human that had run into Wheeljack decades prior—Ratchet needed some answers. Specific answers.
It was suddenly as if a dam broke. Wheeljack unfolded from his slumped position and went completely stiff as he stood straight, armor panels flared in distress.  “She was just a child Ratchet. I wasn’t—I couldn’t just leave her there alone—” Wheeljack’s explosive defensiveness seemingly out of nowhere hinted at some repressed guilt the engineer had been hiding for some time. All Ratchet could do was raise a brow plate at him, silently allowing him to get out whatever it was he needed to. “—She… she wasn’t afraid of me… she was actually excited to talk to me, and Primus I just stayed and… talked to her for a little while and she was so happy, until I had to go because—” His voice had gotten incrementally quieter as he continued, the memories that it seemed he’d been holding in for some time quite literally taking him back to something that had clearly had a great deal of an effect.
“—That’s enough, Wheeljack.” If Ratchet hadn’t cut in, he ran the risk of sitting there listening to Wheeljack explain himself for an eternity.
“Her father eventually came to retrieve her. Didn’t see me. But I didn’t talk to her again after that. Kept my distance.” He stopped, as if collecting himself for the moment, and as he continued to speak the words were slower and much more deliberate. “Eventually, stopped checking in on her to… make sure and figured I’d never see her again. I guess I underestimated human memory…” Wheeljack didn’t need to finish that thought, because it was clear what had happened.
A lot of things were starting to make sense now: Wheeljack’s withdrawal when he’d returned, lasting for some time where now something Ratchet had suspected was confirmed. He had been checking on the human, presumably to make sure she hadn’t put them all at risk and that it was safe to not escalate the situation. Eventually, satisfied or otherwise, Wheeljack had stopped disappearing for prolonged periods of time.
Wheeljack hadn’t wanted to, because he had been lonely and wanted to feel like he had a connection, even if it remained from a distance and unseen. The short time he had talked with the human child had been meaningful enough to make him linger, and that confirmed a number of Ratchet’s fears all at once.
“Until she found you.” All Ratchet could do was vent air, wincing as he realized he’d done so directly onto the human in front of him. The human… her body didn’t react, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t inadvertently do damage without really trying. For the first time Ratchet… hesitated, an uncomfortable pulse in his spark making him interpret some foreign code impulses that he knew he shouldn’t be feeling. He was annoyed; so annoyed, but also… scared.
“I was careless and the humans got a photo of me,” Wheeljack started, raising his hands to stave off the almost immediate expletives as it sunk in for Ratchet what that meant. “It was my alt-mode, no need to blow a gasket. But, I think she saw it and figured out where to find me. Smart.” Ratchet thought he detected a hint of admiration in that statement, but he was more upset with the fact that Wheeljack could have compromised their entire existence. If he had been caught in bipedal form instead…
That status quo hadn’t just been changed, it had been completely overthrown into disarray.
“So let me get this straight. The same human from all those years ago found you, and the energon cube caused this?” Ratchet evened his tone, now more focused on productive results rather than dwelling on things he couldn’t change.
Wheeljack shrugged before crossing his arms across his chassis, his optics scanning the ceiling as if to recall what had happened. “I got distracted and the cube overloaded. Couldn’t stop it in time and it fell. It bounced, and when it got close to her it reacted like it was reaching out. Never seen that before. The amount of energy it discharged was—”
“—More than enough to kill her. Or should have anyway.” Ratchet added, putting the final piece together himself. The implications were troubling but they would have to investigate that later.
The statement hung between them in silence while Ratchet worked. Wheeljack’s silence meant that he was deep in contemplative thought, perhaps already trying to piece together the technicalities of what had happened and why. That wasn’t Ratchet’s area of expertise, though he was not completely ignorant to the physics behind energon storage and production. What Wheeljack was explaining should not have been possible, unless they’d simply never encountered the right conditions to actually test such a reaction.
Ratchet didn’t really have the presence of mind to scold the Autobot, who was skillfully avoiding looking at him, intentionally or not. Wheeljack had put them all in so much danger, but for some reason he couldn’t bring himself to really blame him for what had happened. It seemed like he was doing enough of that himself already, because they both knew something like this was inevitably going to happen anyway. Ratchet supposed they were at least lucky in this case it had been the same human, as statistically improbable as that was.
Wheeljack, unique as he was, was not an anomaly. Prime had noticed it too, and had spoken to Ratchet about it in passing out of concern. The other Autobots were… restless. Isolation and seclusion was not agreeing with any of them, and the younger amongst them in particular were showing the most severe signs of loneliness. They were growing curious, fascinated by the humans and yearning for some type of contact if only to satiate their increasing desire to know more. By nature, they were social creatures, so the escalating carelessness and diminishing fear of the planet’s native inhabitants meant that eventually… the fortified, secure bubble that had been carefully cultivated around them for decades was going to explode in a spectacular fashion. Someone was going to make contact first, intentional or not, and somehow, it was not all that surprising that it was the Autobot standing in front of him.
“I don’t have suture material,” Ratchet mumbled, and he sensed Wheeljack relax near him, perhaps with the possibility of setting on something more productive. “Might want to start stealing that too.” His sarcasm was not lost on Wheeljack who finally smiled then, the action quick but nonetheless obvious as his optical lids narrowed in companionable amusement.
“I knew you’d thank me eventually.”
“Well right now we need to stop wasting time. Hand me the…” Ratchet’s processor cycled through hundreds of possibilities at once. He had a collection of different monofilament materials typically used to repair delicate energon tubing within a Cybertronian’s endoskeleton. “... Polypropylene-sterite thread spool over there,” he gestured in the general direction of a partially broken cabinet against the wall, knowing Wheeljack would know what to look for. It was a material that could be absorbed by a Cybertronian’s physiology and simply be cycled out as waste. For a human, while it was a material similar to something they would use for their own medical sutures, it was not something they could absorb. That meant eventually they would need to be removed, which also meant…
“The human will need to stay here.”
“Eh—what?”
“At least until I can remove the sutures—”
“—Pretty sure a human doctor can do that…”
“If this human walks into an infirmary with expertly applied sutures and no prior documentation to explain them, that is bound to raise questions. We can’t risk it, and furthermore we have no idea what the immediate effect of the energon exposure will be.” Ratchet could tell that Wheeljack had nothing to argue with, because he loved to argue with him. That meant one of two possibilities was happening: Wheeljack was far more interested in the data that could be collected regarding human exposure to energon to be worried about his blunder being exposed, or he wanted the human to stay. There was nothing stopping both from being true.
“About that energon…”
“Right. Do you have the energon cube that reacted to her, or did you leave that behind for all of humanity to find?” Ratchet had finished closing the wound with great care, having a number of needle options at his disposal and one just small enough to be useful. They were generally used for delicate internal Cybertronian physiology and electrical stimuli for therapeutic reasons, but he was able to manipulate one thin enough so as not to damage the skin further.
“There’s no need to be rude, I got it right here.” Wheeljack subspaced the glowing energon cube and held it aloft. Ratchet could tell it wasn’t completely full, probably because it had expelled some of its stores when it… exploded.
“I think we can use it to get the energon out of her. Hand me that EM absorption array, will you?” Pointing once again to a long, hand-held de-ionization module that was typically used to reverse electro-magnetic build-up. It was a long shot, but he thought that it might be able to pick up the energon—itself a highly charged energy—from the human’s body and convert it directly into the cube as something usable.
“You think—” Wheeljack started, the lights behind his optics glimmering as an idea began to fully form. Ratchet was admittedly surprised that Wheeljack hadn’t thought of it sooner. “I can modify the cube to interface with your little medical thingy—”
Ratchet scoffed. “—It’s not a thingy, it’s a very critical piece of equipment that I’ve had to use on you multiple times when—never mind, we need to move fast because the human’s blood pressure is dropping again.”
Without needing to be asked twice, Wheeljack placed two fingers on the facing edge of the cube and swiped sideways, revealing the command module where lines of glyphs rapidly filtered across the interface. He typed in several lines of code, the cube making a rather unpleasant squawk twice when he made mistakes, until finally he nodded at Ratchet to indicate that he was finished.
“Is that thing going to work on a human?”
“Unclear,” Ratchet said, holding the module aloft by the handle and placing it over the human’s body. He sensed a spike in energy when the warm glow of the leading edge spread out over the small organic form, and taking that as a good sign he passed it down the length of her. It was working—slowly, but as he initiated a stabilized scan he could detect a release of sorts, not unlike a valve loosening pressure as the energon slowly siphoned out of her.
The operating word being slowly, Ratchet knew this was going to take a while. Wheeljack had been watching the cube itself, a manic glee passing over him as he shifted his stance excitedly. “It’s working… oh, this is going to take forever…”
“No kidding.” Ratchet grunted, noting that his joints were probably going to get sore after all this. “I hope you have nothing better to do, because you aren’t leaving my sight right now.”
There was the matter of what to do when the human actually woke up, so Ratchet supposed they had plenty of time to think about that.

Pure Atmosphere
Due to a completely unexpected and unpredictable Wheeljack-and-Starscream based incident, the Decepticon's temporary lodgings have been rendered uninhabitable. Fortunately, in the peace brought about in the wake of the Quintesson invasion, many Autobots are happy to open their doors to their Decepticon neighbors. Optimus Prime is no exception. Megatron, on the other hand, is perhaps not quite so eager.
Warnings: None
Pairings: Optimus&Megatron (pre-relationship)
Length: 2694
A/N: a silly fic based on an post I made because I feel down a relaxing Transformers ambiance rabit hole haha, don’t take it too seriously
Also on AO3
Optimus should have predicted this. Actually he suspected a lot of people had, if the amount of side-eyeing and just-barely-audible muttering was anything to go by. But at the same time, he couldn’t honestly say much could have been done to prevent it. It was like a force of nature, a natural phenomenon or, more accurately…
“It’s all his fault!” Starscream shrieked, jabbing one soot soaked finger at Wheeljack.
“Me?” the equally sooty Wheeljack replied, voice rising with indignation. “You’re the one who–!”
…a natural disaster.
And, alright, maybe allowing Starscream unrestricted access to the lab while Wheeljack was working and while Skyfire wasn’t there to mediate had been a bit of an oversight, but he’d been doing so well. No murder attempts, no weapons of mass destruction, not even that many death threats, all things considered. And while Optimus couldn’t say with certainty that Starscream wasn’t plotting anything at all, his scientific prowess and surprisingly good managerial skills had been vital in bringing Cybertron that bit closer to the peaceful haven they all dreamed of.
So naturally, he and Wheeljack had somehow managed to destroy not only their lab, but also fill the entire Decepticon Command Quarters with stinking, sticky smoke. The whole building had to be fumigated; most likely deep cleaned and repainted as well. The Constructioncons were debating whether it would be more worthwhile to simply demolish and rebuild the whole thing. This, naturally, had led to a lot of displaced, disgruntled Decepticons.
Still, Optimus could see a silver lining. Whereas just a few lunar cycles before, the Decepticons would have returned to the dingy halls of the Nemesis or, worse yet, been forced to pitch a few tents, most had already found accommodation with their new Autobots friends. Hot Rod, of course, had leapt at the chance to invite Soundwave to stay with him. Clobber was already planning a slumber party with Alpha Strike. Skye-Byte was confident that Jetfire would put him up, and Shadow Striker had taken Windblade and Bumblebee’s invitation, albeit somewhat reluctantly. It seemed a given that Shockwave would stay with Wheejack and Starscream would return to the Seekers’ Aerie until Skyfire returned. So that only left…
“Megatron,” said Optimus, trying his best to school his expression, “the decision is yours, but know that my door is always open to you.”
Megatron stopped glowering for a moment and gave him a… complicated look. Their relationship had improved, dramatically so, but there remained a gulf between them that would not be so easily healed.
But Optimus would always, always try.
“I’ll think about it,” Megatron grunted, which was exactly what Optimus had been hoping to hear.
--
Megatron stewed over the offer for the rest of the day, but he knew on some level that he'd already made up his mind. It wasn't every day he was invited to his former nemesis' home after all. And besides, after the day’s fiasco he wanted to put as much space between himself and Starscream as possible.
Megatron arrived that evening unannounced, but if Optimus was going to change his mind he would have said so already. He didn't even seem surprised to open the door and find Megatron waiting tensely on the doormat, inviting him inside with a winning smile.
"Welcome to my humble hab," said Optimus Prime.
Megatron stepped forward and looked around the room with an assessing scowl. With much of Cybertron still in ruins and most of its surviving citizens still living in temporary housing, Megatron had expected something small. He had not, however, expected something this small.
Optimus inhabited a room that was, somehow, even more miniscule than the apartment he’d rented as a file clerk. The furniture had been arranged in a desperate attempt to give the illusion of a larger space, with the convoy-class couch creating a barrier between the recharge berth in the back left corner and the rest of the room, but it still felt incredibly stifling. It didn’t help that Optimus had crammed his work desk against the only window, and despite how carefully he’d arranged his datapads he had clearly run out of drawer space.
Someone had retrofitted a holoscreen on the right hand wall, opposite the couch, leaving exposed cables and ugly support brackets. The wall directly to the left of the door was occupied by Cybtertron’s smallest kitchenette, which was little more than an energon dispenser and a narrow counter, complete with a few novelty glasses and mugs, including one moulded into the vague shape of a singlehorn's head. What little space remained was taken up by shelves, crammed with datapads and knick-knacks.
A door to the left led to the private washracks, one of the few luxuries the Autobots afforded their leader. Thank Primus.
"Yes," Megatron sneered, "humble indeed."
Optimus laughed. Megatron glowered reproachfully.
"Forgive me," said Optimus, "but I knew you were going to say that. Besides, if I had chosen something grander, don't tell me you wouldn't scoff at the extravagance instead."
“Surely being leader of the Autobots can get you something better than this,” Megatron muttered half-heartedly, feeling understood in a way he didn't particularly like.
“I don’t mind,” said Optimus, because of course he didn’t.
Megatron turned his attention to the couch instead.
"Don't tell me you expect me to sleep on that,” he said derisively. “Or on the floor." Not that it was any of Optimus' business but Megatron's back wasn't what it used to be.
"Of course not," said Optimus, in that infuriatingly placating way of his. "But we won't need to sleep for a while yet. Would you like some energon?"
Megatron took a cautious step into the apartment. "I fueled before I got here," he said automatically, several million stellar cycles of war cautioning him against accepting fuel from an enemy.
Optimus turned from where he had already begun rifling through the kitchen cupboards with such a crestfallen look on his face that Megatron had to look away.
"I could manage half a cube," he said casually, making his way to the couch and promptly bashing his shin on the half hidden low table. A delicate vase of crystal clippings wobbled dangerously. Primus, as if the room needed more clutter!
Optimus clattered around while Megatron sat stiffly on the very edge of the couch, glaring at his reflection in the black holoscreen and trying to relax his shoulders. What was making him so tense anyway? They'd been alone together during plenty of parlays during the war…
Ah, but he was expecting you to be on your guard. He knew he had no chance of taking you down. Now, in this cosy little habsuite, he could wait for you to relax, stage a carefully timed distraction, and…
Optimus set a mug of energon down on the low table and Megatron's plating clamped so hard and fast he sounded like a box of cutlery being dropped down the stairs.
Optimus either didn't notice or tactfully chose not to mention it. He chose a spot on the sofa a respectful distance away and lightly sipped his drink.
"Do you still enjoy magnesium?" Optimus asked suddenly. "I should not have assumed…"
"Magnesium is fine," Megatron said gruffly. Truth be told he preferred iron those days, but he wasn’t about to make a scene. That bad habit belonged to Starscream.
Trying not to appear too hesitant, Megatron picked up his glass and took a sip, letting it sit for a while before swallowing, sensors primed for any trace of poison.
They found none. Just the rich taste of energon sharped by the magnesium's tang. It tasted fine. Of course it tasted fine. As if Optimus Prime would ever poison anyone.
"It's good," Megatron admitted, taking another sip.
"I'm glad!" said Optimus. "I wasn't sure if I remembered. It… It has been a long time."
“It has, hasn’t it,” Megatron mused, watching the metal flakes swirl around in his energon
Optimus sipped his drink with an appreciative hum. “Reminds me of the times after some of your matches.”
Megatron nodded vaguely. He remembered, quite keenly, how after a particularly rough few rounds he often wouldn’t feel like pushing his way through the gladiator's mess or having to posture and strut his way into one of the nearby bars. Instead he and Optimus would retreat to Megatron’s sparse lodgings and gradually unwind, sipping warmed energon as they plotted revolution.
So much for that, Megatron thought bitterly.
"Is there anything decent on Autobot TV?" he blurted, decidedly uninterested in unpacking any of their shared history.
Optimus gave him a look of polite confusion. "I am… fairly certain that our respective factions receive the same broadcasts." But with agonising politeness he reached for the remote.
Autobot TV was, indeed, exactly the same as Decepticon TV. Cybertron's entertainment industry was one of the slowest to recover, and it left the planet's denizens with very little sound to fill the awkward silence. Soundwave had imported (or rather pirated) a handful of human shows, but Megatron wasn't especially familiar with any of Earth's cultures and didn't care to learn, so the nuances were all lost on him.
Thankfully Optimus settled on an old Cube highlight reel and went back to sipping his energon. Megatron finished his and fiddled idly with the glass. It had ‘I spark Caminus’ etched into the crystal. A gift from the Autobot City Speaker, no doubt.
"That was a good game," Optimus remarked quietly.
"Hm?" Megatron glanced at the screen. He had never watched a lot of Cube. He'd been too busy participating in a far less friendly sport. "Oh, yes. Nyon vs…" Megatron squinted at the opposing team's colours. "Kalis."
“It’s a shame neither of them ever made it to the finals,” said Optimus. “They both had some very unique tactics.”
“I didn’t know you liked cube,” said Megatron, tone a little more accusing than he’d intended.
“Ah, well…” Optimus seemed slightly embarrassed. “Many Autobots were fans… I suppose I picked it up over the millenia.”
“Ah,” said Megatron, not sure what to say to that. He certainly used to pay attention to his Decepticons’ interests… or at least Soundwave’s… or at least Soundwave’s music…
The vidscreen played, and the light beyond the window faded slowly into twilight.
"Well," Optimus said eventually, "it is getting late. Perhaps we should retire for the night?"
Megatron nodded and stood, a few kinked cables pinging as he stretched.
"Why do you talk like that?" he asked abruptly. "It's so formal."
Optimus paused in fiddling with the remote and glanced up. "Oh. Well." He looked a little sheepish. "I suppose I've been giving speeches for so long it's become hard to turn it off."
The vidscreen went black and Optimus got to his feet. Megatron felt a sliver of satisfaction at the unmistakable sound of joints clicking.
"You sound as if you're about to beg the senate for better welfare schemes," Megatron grumbled. "At least throw in a 'frag' sometimes."
That received a startled laugh. "Would that not make it fragging worse?" Optimus shot back.
Megatron's mouth twisted in disgust. Optimus laughed again, but not in a mean spirited way. Megatron found himself surprisingly unoffended. The sound was… not unpleasant.
"We should sleep," said Megatron, before he could get too far with that train of thought.
"Of course."
Megatron edged his way around the low table and went to the tiny washracks to rinse the magnesium out of his denta. He could hear Optimus clattering around in the kitchen, washing their glasses, and suddenly Megatron felt keenly aware of just how small the apartment was and just how close they were going to be for the foreseeable future. Maybe he should have made peace with sleeping in the Nemesis. Maybe he should still do that and leave. Soon. Now.
But no. Megatron would not bow to something as banal as social awkwardness. He would not be defeated!
The berth was, as expected, just as humble as the rest of the apartment, if not moreso. But it was clean, sturdy, and large – even for a convoy class. Megatron sat on the edge as Optimus closed the blinds, cutting off the last of the sunset and leaving them in the glow of their biolights.
“What a day,” Optimus mumbled to himself, stretching his arms above his head. “Goodnight, Megatron. Let me know if you need anything.” His silhouette turned towards the couch.
"Wait," said Megatron. He wasn't quite sure why.
Optimus paused. "What is it?"
Megatron scrambled for an excuse. "You're not sleeping on the couch with smokestacks like those are you?”
“I’m sure it won’t do too much harm,” said Optimus, faintly amused. “Unless you’re suggesting we share the berth?”
Megatron hesitated. What game was Optimus playing? Surely he expected Megatron to scoff and refuse, so…
“Well,” Megatron said stiffly. “I mean. I would allow it.”
Silence lingered in the wake of his words. Megatron wished he could see Optimus’ face, if just to get a better idea of what he was thinking.
“Thank you,” Optimus said, with that damn Primly passiveness that made Megatron itch to take a swing at him just to get a reaction. But he reigned himself in, every cable clenched, eyes trained on blue biolights as Optimus shuffled closer and closer. He reached the opposite edge of the berth and lay down with a sigh.
“Goodnight Megatron,” Optimus said softly.
“…Goodnight,” said Megatron. He lay down and shuffled awkwardly. He hadn’t expected this. He wasn’t sure what to do. He shifted again, trying to get comfortable, and felt the very edge of his smallest digit brush against part of Optimus Prime.
Megatron snatched his hand away as if he'd been burned. He ended up lying on his back, so close to the edge that his arm hung off the side and pulled at his shoulder unpleasantly. Still decidedly unsettled, Megatron closed his tired optics and tried to power down.
He couldn’t sleep.
There was no sound beyond the tiny room. No wind, no engines, no voices. Nothing but the very faintest hum of energy in the walls, and even that was muffled by layers of steel.
The room itself was quiet, so quiet Megatron could hear every single whir and hum and click from the frame lying next to his. Every draw of breath, every shuffle and twitch, every movement however small felt like a gunshot to Megatron’s restless processor.
He opened his eyes. Barely five minutes had passed.
Optimus fidgeted beside him and rolled over with the sound of a thunderclap. Megatron glanced towards him and saw the faint blue glow of open optics against the far wall.
The Constructicons couldn’t possibly work fast enough. How was Megatron supposed to endure multiple nights of this? He’d been foolish, thinking it could work, that he would ever let his guard down around Optimus again. It had been too long and they had grown too distant.
“Megatron,” Optimus said suddenly, making him flinch, “would you mind if I played a sleep aid?”
“A what?”
“An audio file,” Optimus elaborated. “I find it helps me sleep.”
“Alright,” Megatron said cautiously. It couldn't be worse than the silence at least.
Optimus fumbled with something on his side of the berth. The harsh glare of a datapad briefly lit the darkness before Optimus turned the brightness down. A pause, and then he was settling back onto the berth as whatever he’d chosen began to play.
Megatron closed his eyes and listened.
It sounded like… the steady rumble of spaceship engines. Enormous, but distant. Whatever Megatron had expected, it hadn’t been this. He listened more closely, and beneath the soothing thrum he could make out different, less constant sounds.
Muffled voices, as though from several rooms away.
Faint footsteps, passing through a distant corridor.
The occasional muted clatter and thud.
The distant drone of electronics.
It was almost exactly like being back on a spaceship. He even imagined he could feel the berth vibrating ever so slightly, as though moved by the engine’s hum.
It felt familiar.
It felt safe.
it felt like the Nemesis.
And although sleep was slow to settle nonetheless, the next few nights no longer looked so bleak.

『 female human reader + megatron ,, optimus prime   』
  —  chapter two || 3am hampter merch drippin
  — second chapter how we feeling 😎😎 we wanting more of this ? got more of a writing portion bc gotta write the actual story too 🙄 but theres still the chats n stuff yuhhh ,, the chapter titles are the lyrics to the song hampter gotta ball by jakerton 🫶 dope song
  < one , three , four , five    >
honking followed behind you ,, dookie face started to flap his wings as he took off in a flight. you werent too sure what the hell you did to anger him but he definitely had beef with you. once again ,, looking like a fool ,, you took off running like the fbi was after your ass.
he chased you around the block ,, and through an alley way. you were definitely going to be late ,, not sure how late but late late. the honking only got louder ,, running through the open field of the ghost agency. luckily for you ,, dot was just up ahead.
" DOT !!" you screamed ,, whimpering out as you kept running for your life. "DOOKIE FACE IS BEHIND ME HELPPPP !!" you cried ,, running towards the woman and hiding behind her. she rolled her eyes ,, already done with your antics and it isnt even 10 am.
with her magic ,, the goose instantly stopped. it felt like one of those movies ,, where two cowboys are standing and facing each other ,, where they give the ' the town aint big enough for us both ' and have their standoff. you swore the goose glared at you ,, kicking its feet up in the dust and waddling away back to his wife. she was probably in on it all too ,, you were absolutely sure of it.
hands found themselves wrapped around dot's waist ,, cries of thanks falling from your lips. " oh thank you ! thank you thank you thank you dottie !!" you cried ,, the woman giving you an unimpressed look. " you missed the meeting you know ,," she crossed her arms. your eyes widened ,, staring in disbelief.
" WHAT ?!" she rolled her eyes ,, helping you up from the ground and walking towards her ranger jeep. " schloder already knows why ,, so its not too big of a deal . but we've also been assigned those cybernetic sleeves ." she held up her arm ,, showing it to you. " i was lucky enough to be paired with elita ,, optimus however ,," she shook her head at the thought.
" what ? schloder paired himself with big o ?" you snorted ,, and dot nodded her head in confirmation. " lord have mercy on that man ,, optimus is gonna be suffering ." you leaned on the window as dottie got inside her jeep. the car beeped at her ,, before she turned it on.
" who did i get assigned ? or was i not special enough to be chosen ?" you asked ,, raising a brow at the woman. she only smirked in response ,, before bidding her goodbyes and leaving. you werent all too sure what the look was for ,, but it couldn't mean anything good.
grumbling to yourself ,, you walked inside the ghost agency. the large hallways consumed you ,, towering around your smaller form as you walked along the all too perfectly straight walls. though luck had shined on you ,, spotting wheeljack up ahead. you broke into a sprint ,, shouting for the scientist as you skidded to a stop in front of him.
" good evening wheeljack !" you waved at him ,, giving a soft smile to the mech. " good mornin' ,, ya missed the meetin' by the way ,," his servo came around your waist as he picked up off the ground gently. he set you on his shoulder ,, continuing his path towards both of your workshops. the two of you were work partners ,, as he constructed and built the devices ghost uses ,, and you design and code them. the two of you worked fast and well ,, never really having a problem with one another and bouncing ideas off each other.
" yeah i know ,, its not my fault !" you were quick to complain about your recent rodeo this morning. " dookie face just has something against me ,, and i'm not even that sure what it is . oh yeah ,, who did i get partnered with for the experiment ? was it you ?" you smirked at the mech ,, who in turned chuckled and shook his head. " nah it aint me ,, it's megatron ." he spoke ,, the lab doors opening as he walked you both inside. you slid off his shoulder and onto the counter ,, eyes wide and jaw dropped.
wheeljack snickered at your expression ,, turning his back on you as he went straight to working on the latest device. " no need for the look ,, he aint so bad ya know . besides ,, this aint gonna last for long ,, its just an experiment afta all ." he shrugged ,, servos moving to drill pieces and bits together.
" when does the experiment start though ? or has it already started ?" you questioned ,, taking a moment to chill out on your not so comfortable chair. it felt like sleeping on bricks ,, if anything. you werent sure why ghost didnt spend the money to get cheaper and comfortable chairs instead of these expensive prison cell feeling chairs.
" pretty sure hes waitin for ya ,, in the meeting room ,," wheeljack replied humming to himself as he continued working. you sighed ,, letting your head roll from side to side before jumping to your feet. the meeting room was quite a ways from your lab / workshop ,, and you cursed wheeljack for not just taking you there in the first place.
you walked along the big halls once more ,, sighing as you dragged your feet along the flooring. your legs were already tired and aching ,, having to be chased by dookie face and now having to walk the halls that take hours to get to anywhere. you wondered if ghost would fire you soon ,, having been late a few times now. they could easily replace you ,, find people who actually showed up on time and worked faster than you. maybe wheeljack would've appreciated it. the thought has your heart swelling ,, frown forcing itself on your face.
" (y/n) ,, there you are ." the familiar scottish accent rang through the air ,, frown turning into a thin line as you glanced up at the giant mech. megatron stood before you ,, crouching to his knee as he laid one arm over it. " where've ye been ? was it the goose again ?" he asked ,, holding his servo out for you.
" how'd you know ?" you snickered ,, climbing onto the warm metal and gripping tightly to his digits as he raised his servo up. you were quick to settle yourself against his shoulder ,, making yourself comfortable on the mech. " so ,, ive heard we've been paired together ?" you raised a brow at him ,, holding tightly to the metal of his body as he walked down the hall. " yeah ,, everyone else has their 'sleeves' on ,, or whatever wheeljack has called em ." he replied ,, making his way down the hall and being mindful of you ,, moving slower than usual so you wouldn't slip off and fall to the floor.
" and ,, let me guess ,, schloder paired himself with optimus ?" you asked ,, taking notice of the path towards the meeting room. megatron only hummed ,, giving you the only answer you needed. immediately you bursted in a fit of snickers ,, holding your hand to your mouth to keep yourself from full on laughing. " oh i feel bad for him ,, poor optimus ,," you shook your head ,, megatron's face plates lifting up in a smile upon hearing your little giggle fit at the silliness of schloder's schemes.
the meeting room was a large cleared out space ,, with a large platform in the middle for the bots and humans. it was large and tall enough that the bots could rest their arms on it ,, and help their human companions up on the table ,, so everyone would be at equal eye level. it was much better than having the bots squat or sit down to reach human eye levels ,, as that had happened in the past and didnt prove beneficial for anyone. laid upon it was a small sleeve and much larger one.
megatron's hand came to grasp you gently ,, setting you down on the table. you walked towards where the 'sleeves were' ,, wasting no time to put yours on. it was a little snug but overall not bad ,, fit well and was comfortable ,, and surprisingly not itchy. megatron slid his over his arm ,, fitting his servo through the opening. " so ,, does it turn on automatically or ??" you raised a brow and megatron shrugged at you. a small green button was on the underside ,, and you being you ,, you pressed it. a hologram of wheeljack waist up showed ,, a smile on his face as he stared before he started to talk.
" howdy yall ! these are mah new cybernetic emotion sleeves ,, improved 101 ,, best of the best !" he winked. lord have mercy ,, this man ,, megatron looked unimpressed as he stared at the hologram. " so you're trying yer c.e.s for the first time ,, and yer wondering ' what does it do ?' well ,, thats where ah come in to help !" he placed his servos on his hips as he looked smug. " first ,, these are meant to improve cyba-tronian and human relations ,, probably not the most effective way but definitely a way ! they're meant ta share emotions with your partner ,, so yer partner will know what yer feelin at times ,, unless ya take it off of course ."
" all ya've gotta do is press the little circle in blue on the top ." you followed his instructions ,, pressing the button and listening in to what he said next. " now ,, all ya've gotta do is touch the hand or servo of your partner ,, and yer connected ! its as easy as that !" he nodded to himself ,, chuckling in the process. megatron raised his servo in front of you ,, your own hand reaching out and pressing against his palm.
at first ,, nothing happened ,, until after a minute and suddenly everything went black.

Sorry if I’m asking too many questions about your TADC AU but I really like the concept a lot
I just wanted to know: while Smokescreen has his circus shenanigans how are the Autobots doing? What are their feelings on Smokescreen’s current state? How has Smokescreen’s absence affected the team?
Honestly, I like when people ask questions. No amount of questions are too many.
Autobots-
Optimus: He blames himself for what happened to Smokescreen. If he had stopped Smokescreen from leaving, if had made Arcee stop, if he hadn't held back Bulkhead... Maybe, just maybe, Smokescreen would be okay. He'd be awake. Any time Optimus isn't doing anything, he's sitting next to Smokescreen.
Ratchet: He pushes his emotions aside the best he can. He's in charge of making sure Smokescreen is healthy, that he doesn't end up dieing of low fuel or something. He also ends up having to take more care of Optimus, especially when he ends up falling asleep next to Smokescreen.
Bulkhead: He feels like he's lost a brother. Bulkhead ends up spending as much time with Wheeljack as he can. Trying to stay way from the base. He knows that if he spent a lot time there he'd end up like Optimus. Spending hours waiting for Smokescreen to wake.
Bumblebee: He throws himself into focusing on the war. He does his best to forget about Smokescreen, not wanting to let himself be affected by the sorrow.
Arcee: She also blames herself, not as much as Optimus though. She never really liked Smokescreen that much, but it was still her fault that he had ran out of base and got caught.
Wheeljack & Ultra Magnus: They didn't really know Smokescreen that much, but they still feel sad about Smokescreen's condition.
Humans-
Miko: She ends up doing the same thing as Bulkhead. Spending most of her time with the two wreakers just to avoid seeing Smokescreen.
Jack: Out of all the humans he was probably the closest to Smokescreen. He did his best to stay strong for everyone else though.
Raf: He threw himself into helping Ratchet. It got to the point that Ratchet ended up teaching him basic Cybertronian medical techniques.
June: She did her best to help Ratchet with what she new about human comas, but she new it wasn't much help anyways.
Agent Fowler: He stayed strong. Fowler never had a relationship with Smokescreen and therefore was able to not let the event affect him.

Some final EarthSpark kids book ideas.
Book idea 15: The Secret Origin of Dr. Mandroid or How I Learned Not To Worry and Loath the Machine! While the Constructicons and ArachniMechs rebuild Mandroid’s lab after yet another scheme gone belly up, Mandroid recalls why he went down this path. He initially was working to take down the Decepticons to protect his wife and two sons. However, a Decepticon attack and the ensuing Autobot response saw the disaster that cost Mandroid his arm, but also his wife and eldest son. His youngest survived, but is currently in rehab learning to walk again with special artificial limbs developed by Wheeljack and Ratchet. While his youngest, Ethan Meridian, holds no ill will to the Autobots and even looks up to Optimus Prime. Ethan isn’t fond of Megatron for obvious reasons, but at least seems to acknowledge the big buckethead is trying to turn over a new leaf and make things right. All the same Mandroid resents all Transformers for their hand in the loss of his family, and vows to protect his remaining son no matter the cost. The story is a loose reinterpretation of what happened to Mark Morgan, Jessica Morgan, and Gregory Swofford in the G1 cartoon, only Mandroid is trying to foolishly Roboticize himself to one up the Autobots instead of foolishly unleashing a Hate Plague to one up the Autobots.
Having finished ruminating, Dr. Mandroid has built a special ArachniMech for Devastator: Scorpulator.
Tumblr media
Capable of transformation, it forms a super weapon for Devastator to use to melt Autobots. Determined this will finally do the trick, he sends out Robo Smashed Buzzsaw and Robo Smashed WingThing to draw out the Autobots. Taking the bait, Optimus, Elita and the Terrans arrive to see what’s going on only to be surprise attacked by the Constructicons who quickly merge to form Devastator and equip Scorpulator. The attack goes well in Mandroid’s favor until he realizes the fight is escalating towards the hospital where Ethan is recovering in. Inevitably Devastator and Scorpulator blasts a chunk of the building when attempting to fire back at Optimus. People within the blast range were hurt and killed, but Ethan, among others, was thankfully safe thanks to the Terrans protecting as many as they could. Outraged at his own foolishness at nearly hurting his own son, Mandroid quickly rationalizes that it was the AUTOBOTS who slipped up and nearly hurt Ethan again, not him, and so orders Devastator to resume attacking, albeit farther away from that particular hospital. Elita manages to disable and destroy Scorpulator, while Optimus manages to truck tackle Devastator in the face, forcing him back into his component Constructicons who drive off and retreat. It is here Mandroid becomes more twisted and consumed by his hatred of Transformers despite the near death of Ethan being HIS fault. Nevertheless, extreme measures will be taken…
Book idea 16: GHOST Autobot rescue response Inferno and his crew have attracted the attention of Mandroid. Inferno’s crew helped rebuild Ethan’s hospital with Ratchet and Medix tending to wounded. Inferno is a popular guy among the Earth populace, loved by Autobot supportive GHOST agents: he’s a regular Boy Scout, modest, likable and eager to help. Mandroid decides to Robo Smash Inferno as a means to disrupt public relations.
Tumblr media
My idea was ES Inferno is a mix of his Aligned design above and RiD01 Optimus below, using that Optimus’ vehicle mode too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fooled by a distress call by Buzzsaw and ArachniMechs, Mandroid corners Inferno with his Arachni-Smasher, and reprograms the poor guy.
Tumblr media
Later Inferno returns to the Autobots, a plant by Mandroid, and everything seems to be going fine at first, though Hashtag and Nightshade seem to notice something off…
At another attempt at a ceremony to honor the GHOST-Autobot relations is held, and Inferno is the guest of honor, due to his dutiful work behind the scenes from past adventures. Mandroid, nearby with Buzzsaw and the Arachni-Smasher, orders Inferno to turn up the heat. Inferno starts rampaging to the shock of everyone, but confirming Hashtag and Nightshade’s suspicions when Inferno treated them harshly earlier. They manage to appeal to his true Autobot programming within during the fight, though the Smasher’s programming keeps trying to override it. Taking notice of Mandroid, Inferno, in his stupor, transforms and drives off after him. Mandroid manages to escape riding on Buzzsaw, but the Arachni-Smasher wasn’t so lucky, getting set ablaze and then run over by Inferno for good measure. The overload to his system causes Inferno to go into stasis lock, and while the day was saved, it’s on a bittersweet note thanks to mixed emotions from the crowd though the Maltos and Ethan, the later having watched what was happening in his room, still believe in the Autobots. Though Ethan does notice in footage what he thinks was his dad flying on a Decepticon, and starts to put the pieces together…
Book idea 17: Twitch, Nightshade, Robbie and Mo are enjoying some beach time, but as usual trouble is afoot, as Arachnimechs are in the area. The kids meet up with Sea Spray and his partner GHOST Agent Alana Tlalakan, who were investigating underwater ruins in the area.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(The visual gag I had is Sea Spray is based on his movie toy body, but has his G1 head. When Mo asks why he looks different in the comic, he hand waves it away as artistic liberties. Alana meanwhile is pretty much her G1 self only as an Earth woman dressed for oceanic research.)
It’s VERY heavily implied Sea Spray and Alana are romantically involved, and that Alana and Croft have a mutual dislike of each other. The only reason Alana is still part of GHOST is because she’s great at her job (and she refuses to leave Sea Spray despite knowing Optimus would look out for him). Alana keeps the Terrans a secret, and takes a shine to Twitch and her enthusiasm to learn in particular. It appears special aquatic moded Arachnimechs and Skullcruncher were spotted in the area, with Sea Spray, Alana and the kids discovering them heading into the Black Pyramid, a mysterious structure that was discovered when the Transformers originally arrived on Earth. The Cyber Sleeves react to the eerie energy emitted from the structure, concluding it shares a connection to Quintus Prime.
Tumblr media
While Nightshade and Twitch handle Buzzsaw and Nova Storm’s aerial defense, Sea Spray and the others go inside the under water Pyramid to uncover and protect its Prime related secrets from Mandroid!
Book idea 18: Hashtag has been wondering if other Transformers are genuinely still out there, as morale among the other Autobots has been low lately for existential reasons. Periodically she’s been sending a frequency into space to see if anyone picks up. One day, she gets an answer from a Cartharsian and the two quickly bond and become online friends.
Tumblr media
This other robot is from the Omnicon Flotilla trading post near Jupiter. The Cartharsian has been studying super robotic life forms like herself, the Zoids of Zoidstar and Zi, and the Robotix of Skalor, but it’s the first time she’s personally encountered a Cybertronian. Naturally the concept of Transforming comes up, as Hashtag wants to meet and suggests her friend can just Transform into a ship and fly on over, only for the Catharsian to sheepishly admit she can’t Transform though she would like to experience it one day. Her ship meanwhile is in the shop but the Catharsian swears she’ll find a means to come to Earth…! And she does… in a Velgroxian cruiser with hangry Velgroxians…
Tumblr media
The Catharsian didn’t think it through, and helps Hashtag prevent Witwicky from becoming an all you can eat buffet, as well as address what’s become of the other Transformers out in space.
Book idea 19: More Transformers comics have been produced but the stories are less than flattering lately to Autobots and Decepticons alike, even the Terrans find them off despite being more open minded to them. Bumblebee had apparently always hated the comics because he wasn’t used a lot, and the artists either drew him too fat or gave him the wrong head. Alex and Bumblebee visit the local comic con, only for Bumblebee to confront the comic book’s current author, Melody Keen in the parking lot while Alex was inside geeking out.
Tumblr media
Melody isn’t too dissimilar from Alex, sharing the same enthusiasm for Transformers and Bumblebee like him. When Bee asks things like why he’s being romantically paired with Decepticon Steeljaw, why Star Saber is being such a creep, and who the slag characters like Robot Master, Sentius Magnus and Malus are, Melody apologizes, saying she’d much rather be writing stories about the Autobots’ and GHOSTS’ heroics, but her publisher, Donny Finkleberg, insists these are the kinds of stories people want nowadays. As Alex and the kids are busy with geekdom, Bee and Melody sneak away to the Witwicky publishing company to talk to Finkleberg. Finkleberg turns out to be working for Mandroid, and isn’t fond of Transformers either, and is more than happy to tarnish their image AND get into character doing so. Unleashing Robo Smashed Buzzsaw and Robo Smashes Enemy in the old cassette player in his office and donning on a transforming Arachnimech exo suit akin to this Action Master toy below, Finkleberg becomes the Robot Master for real.
Tumblr media
Defending Melody, Bee defeats Finkleberg and he’s arrested, with Melody becoming inspired by the event to write new stories that sell well… though Bee is still shipped with Steeljaw much to his chagrin because it was a popular ship a sheepish Melody admits…
Book finale: A three parter that addresses the connections between Quintus Prime, the Black Pyramid, Fortress Maximus, Ethan and Mandroid. Ethan gains his own Cyber Sleeve, and becomes bonded to Cerebros, via the Emissary, the true form of the Black Pyramid. Mandroid manipulates his son into using Fortress Maximus to attack the Decepticons (actually the Autobots and Terrans), with Devastator as back up. The day is saved thanks to Ethan’s unwavering belief in the heroism of the Autobots and the belief they can live in peace, but Ethan is also shamed at his actions, and opts to take Fortress Maximus into space to prevent him from being abused by others. Ethan and Cerebros park it on the dark side of the moon, and with the Carthusian, Nightshade, Tarantulas and the restored Constructicons’ help, eke out a little secret moon base that other book exclusive and potential toy exclusive Autobots can reside in, along with human allies like Sam. The Tyrest Vault has been relocated inside Fortress Maximus, with Ethan under Autobot protection per Optimus Prime’s orders. Mandroid meanwhile, views his son as dead to him, and laments his entire family is gone thanks to the Autobots, and vows to take extreme measures to eradicate all Energon based life on this planet, the book ending with he and his Arachnimechs building and experimenting on a prototype of his Energon doomsday machine from the cartoon.
