Now that personal affairs are done, one more small detail I liked in SM071 and I so thank the episode writer for this.

Satoshi is the one to acknowledge Ametama/Surskit. He recognized it. I love it when they do that. But it’s a small detail and not worth bigger post XD

Also this is the episode that taught me Ametama/Surskit evolves to Amemoth/ Masquerain, I just caught Masquerain on Ultra Moon and wondered what it’s pre-evolved form is. Ty Pokeani, you teach me a lot of things. :D

I used to go to this little creek that ran through a park during the summer, and let me tell you, there were pondskaters everywhere by the banks. Or anywhere they could find calm water. It was neat. (There was also a surprising amount of crayfish...)

Surskit’s antenna releases a sweet fluid, which it not only uses to attract prey, but it can also convince a predator not to eat Surskit... just the sweet syrup it produces! Unfortunately, this probably doesn’t work on a later Pokemon, Dewpider... they live in the same territory and eat the same things, so they fight frequently!

“Ametama, Ice Beam!” 

The ground immediately became an ice field, as the Pond Skater Pokémon danced on it like it was just a game and it was proudly winning. Pokémon often represented their trainers, or so people said, and Zakuro was starting to understand why they said that.

He was exhausted. He had battled until that moment, but his Pokémon were all outworn and he couldn’t possibly force them to continue fighting. As he was preparing to be attacked by some Flare-dan random guys, Viola stepped up and protected him, forcing his opponents to back off.

“It’s not everyday that a girl gets to save her prince” she gloated, smiling wide, when she came closer to help him standing.

Zakuro grinned, accepted the hand she’s offering him and got up. “More like, a Duchess her Grand Duke.”

Even in that moment, he managed to annoy her. He couldn’t help it. 

She yearned. “I’ll catch up very, very soon, my dear Grand-fucking-Duke.”

“That’s not lady-like.” Not that he cared; but neither did she and it was fun to see her mad.

“Like I give a shit or something.” She predictably answered.

He rested his head on her shoulder, overwhelmed with tiredness. “Let’s go.”

She gliggled and then nodded. She held his hand and let him put his head on her neck while they were walking. He felt safe and loved and warm. He was glad to have been rescued by her.

Day 495 - Ametama | アメタマ | Surskit

Ametama has tiny, tiny legs. So small that they can barely support Ametama from a gust of wind. They live under bridges so they have a brace when there is a strong wind storm. During the winter they can climb snow banks by piercing the ice.

A) Serena tries to see if he remembers Satoshi thinking that for him he has to know her. Actually, she doesn't remember it.

B) Saotshi and Alexa start traning to avoide bgetting throwed by Gust again. After the training, Pansy says that is enough and that the Pokemon can withstand Gust.

C) The group are eating at night. Satoshi has a secret plan for the ice studio but he has't known how to handle Sticky Web. They make Citron create an invention to throw Sticky Webs but it ended malfunctioning and exploding like all the other inventions. Aftetr that, they decided to use Keromousee as a Sticky Web replacements, and Piakchu and Yayakoma succesfully dodges all the Sticky Webs.

D) The rematch starts. Piakchu vs Ametama again. the battle starts well with piakchu avoiding all the Sticky Web. Piakchu tries to not create the ice studio but fails and he creates the fire studio.

E) The ice studio is compelted. piakchu has problems to move. But he has an idea: he uses Irojn tail to stay here. Piakchu defeats Ametama with a Thunderbolt that alsod efeats Ametama's Signal beam.

F) Ash retires Piakchu to Yayakoma. Yayakoma is not falling tothe porevious techniques and the battle goes well until Vivillon uses Sleep Powder (which Satoshi isn't prepared) and Yayakoma falals to the gorund, causing to lose to a Solarbeam.

G) then Ash uses Piakchu again. He has a fierce battle against Vivillion until he is hit with Seep Powder again. But now Satoshi has an strategy and fires Electro Ballt o iself. At the end, Piakchu uses Elctro Ball to Vivillion, freezing partially his wings and Saotshi wends winning with a Thunderbolt.

H) Satoshi wins the battle and gets the Bug Badge. The groups say bye-bye to Viola and Pansy . At the end, Serena questioning how to do...
